- RickyBobbie (8/5): Good long term stay option but needs faster internet - Overall happy with our long term stay at this hotel. We stayed in a 1 BR on the 4th (top) floor and it was perfect for our needs as 2 people who work remotely. There was a work desk in the living area and another in the bedroom, with a doorway between and separate A/C controls. There was also a kitchen bar where we could work. The kitchen was perfect for our needs: 2-burner stove, high-wattage microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, storage shelves and a separate pantry. All the utensils and cooking supplies were in stock, and there was a dishwasher and coffeemaker. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was a dresser in the bedroom and another in the living area, and a closet in each room as well, so plenty of storage space. The two issues we had with the room were low water pressure and slow, unreliable internet. Fast.com said the internet speed was 4 MBPS and my video conference calls would have issues. In the common areas, they offer free coffee and have sundries in their marketplace. There is also free guest laundry. The fitness room is adequate, with 3 cardio pieces (treadmill, elliptical, recumbent bike), bench and dumbbells, a cable pulley weight system, and some jump ropes and pads for floor work. The room was clean and there were ample towels, wipes and water. Everything worked. Our last week there, 1 of the 3 washing machines was out of service and there were waits to do laundry. Also, one of the 2 elevators wasn't working. Housekeeping was really good. The hotel was quiet when we were there in April.

- Theresa (7/5): Great hotel, but animals need containing - The staff, the cleanliness, the size of the bath and closet, the location, the free laundry machines, the free coffee and free tea available 24/7. On three occasions guests let their dogs jump on me. One of them was not leashed. I saw guests sneaking in cats and not cleaning up after dogs.

- Mattke (3/5): Disappointing - The location was nice and the kitchen had anything you could need When I checked in the lady acted like she couldn’t find my reservation and when I offered help she said she had it already. Didn’t even ask for my ID or my card information granted I booked it online. She gave me keys to the room that didn’t work so I went back down to let them know and she acted like she didn’t just help me 5 minutes prior. The next morning someone knocked on the door at 7:30am and then proceeded to open it up (thank goodness the door stop prevented them from actually entering) and then shouted a quick “sorry!” and closed it. We then get a phone call on our room phone from the front desk telling us our card declined and we needed to go downstairs to talk to them. They then ask me how long I’ve been at the hotel and how long I’m staying and for my information. After showing proof of confirmation for the booking and then explaining that my card was in fact already charged they let me know that I wasn’t checked into the proper room and that the manager was the one who attempted to enter our room earlier that day although she stated she was house keeping at the time of the incident. They issued an apology and we go back upstairs to find that our room keys once again did not work and had to go back downstairs to get new ones. After all of this mess they did not offer any sort of discount or refund just an oops our bad and sent us on our way. I am extremely disappointed in our stay and will not be booking with this hotel again anytime soon. We also had a couple of little orange lady bugs crawling around the bathroom and just left them for housekeeping to find.
- 886bobbim (10/5): Already going back again - This was my first time at this hotel and already have my next time booked. The room was very quiet and extremely clean. The pillowcases had soft or firm embroidered on them which I like. There was a full kitchen set up. I only used the refrigerator but ita good to know for future use. Check in and out was very easy. You can hear interstate traffic but I like background noise to sleep so it worked out.
- Theresa (10/5): 5 Star Haven - Candlewood Suites, Sioux Falls, SD has a small staff, but they are efficient in maintaining the outstanding cleanliness and order of the hotel. They were cordial/friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and its workings. My room was spacious, very clean, and the kitchenette has everything needed for an extended stay. Free coffee and hot tea are available 24/7. Snacks and frozen meals are reasonably priced. There is free use of the guests' laundry room, which has plenty of washers and dryers. The hotel is located closely to all the national chain stores/restaurants and local merchants. The Interstate 29 is nearby. This is an excellent hotel, and I highly recommend it. AAA+ facility! I liked everything about it.

- Judith (10/5): Very nice hotel - The hotel was lovely, very clean and well-supplied. We had the small suite which included a stovetop and full-sized fridge. We didn’t use this, but they had a lending area where you can get a crockpot, toaster oven, bbq tools and other things. The only drawback is that the beds were too hard.

- Taylor (9/5): spacious, cartwheels in the room :D - the room size was OUTSTANDING for the price. next to nothing ive seen before. so spacious not just a room with beds (which is fine for a hotel accomidation i may add) it was a game changer to have a full fridge and freezer during our stay as we had very melty icepacks. the blond woman in the front of house along with the man with short brown hair were always cheerful and kind and full of spunk ! loved running downstarirs for any old thing and having a quick exchange with them. my kids wished there was a pool lol but that isnt listed as a feature so cant count against them !

Cons: But I think they should plan for that in advance when big events are in town. Also the price was too high/expensive for 2nights. Esp with no free continental breakfast, pool, hot tub. And we have stayed at other places that were just as nice, and not this price for 2 nights.

Loved that the bathroom was not in the bedroom & was accessible for everyone not just those staying in the bedroom, since our kids slept on the pull out couch. The whole room was very spacious & loved having a fully kitchen as well as a large living room, eating area & the bedroom was also very spacious, as well as the bathroom. Kids said pull out couch was not very comfy, only complaint.

- Alex (10/5): Great place to stay - As a frequent traveler, this is one of the best kept hotels I’ve stayed at. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. I did have to wait for the front desk attendant as he was doing laundry but he was super nice and apologized for the wait.

They did but initial staff small woman who could not lift the luggage. Told by staff that elevator had been out for several days. First room odorous so required room change. Stairwells filthy. - Mirna (6/5): - Disappointed with the Bed Quality I’ve stayed at Candlewood Suites in Ocala, FL before and had an excellent experience — especially with how comfortable the bed was. It was honestly one of the best nights of sleep I’ve ever had, so I was really looking forward to staying with you again. Unfortunately, this location did not live up to that expectation. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and I wasn’t able to get a good night’s sleep because of it. Everything else met the usual standards, but the bed quality made my stay disappointing.
