• Lise (9/5): I will stay there again. - I like that it was close to our venue and also very clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The night view of the lake was amazing. It was a bit warm in our room and I could not turn the heat down.

The ice machine was down so the owner was kind enough to give us his personal ice cube tray which sufficed for our entire stay. This isn't something that one would expect anywhere but it was quite welcomed. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the view from the front window of the room was exceptional! We would stay there again and again.

• Candice (8/5): Large room, Lake view, full bath, lovely staff. - It would have been great to enjoy the Lake view but I came in the winter after snow so everything was just covered in snow. The room was a great size and very clean and I appreciated that it had a full bathtub and not just a standing shower. I would stay here again. I had a room on the ground floor and I could hear every foot step and noise from the people in the room above me. I don't know how busy the Inn was on the night that I stayed, but either a room on the top floor to reduce noise or a room that didn't have anyone staying above. If I stay there again I would make sure I would be able to have a room on the second floor before confirming a booking.

Loved the balcony overlooking the lake. The location was perfect for what I needed going to Orillia. I return year after year, so obviously, this place works for me.

• Roger (1/5): Very poor establishment very dated rooms were not clean will not go back - Absolutely nothing Room downstairs was very dated rotting drywall dead bugs all over the floor and room smelled very strong of mould and air freshener. Nobody with allergies could ever have stayed in this room.

• Birgit (10/5): Perfect location for a visit to Rama - We loved this hotel because it was small, locally owned and directly on the waterfront in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a modern, renovated and spotlessly clean old school type hotel which we loved. The King bed was very comfortable and the balcony was a bonus.

It was extremely quiet and peaceful and the place was tastefully Furnished with everything we need and it was especially clean. The bed was comfortable and there is a park and a beach area.Super close as well as the tim hortons around the corner. We got the corner unit, which has a couple of wicker benches.And although the view wasn't the most spectacular thing in the world.Like the front units,, we felt like we had our own little cottage space. There was an opened expired milk that was left in the fridge. The air conditioner filter was packed full of dust and there was fuzzy mold underneath the weather pad of the air conditioner. The toilot wouldn't refill the tank on its own. We would have to reach in and lift the black floating thing for it to start to refill.

The best part is that it’s right next to the lake, making it a perfect spot for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Just left key to check out as no one answered when we rang the bell a few times, so we never bought a bracelet that we saw at gift stand. Oh well, check in was easy and the gentleman was very accommodating.
