- eglencijus (10/5): Cosy place - We had a traditional room decorated in the traditional Metsovo style. It had a lovely fire place to keep us warm and cosy. The owners are very welcoming and kind. And Dimitras cheese pie is worth a separate review. Breakfast was nice and we especially appreciated a great coffee and amazing Mountain tea to keep us warm. At the times where many hotels serve frozen pies - it’s a pleasure to find a place with home made pies for breakfast! A great place to relax and unwind! We will definitely be back again!

- Isabella (10/5): - Geirge, the proprietor was great from the first moment we entered, welcoming us, sharing details about the hotel, local eateries, places to visit, and over all very friendly and hospitable. The room was wonderful, comfortable, great views, and very clean. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful! The facilities, sauna, jacuzzi, hottub, pool, available, clean and well cared for, great way to relax, and unwind.

The service minded staff guided us to the garage, conveniently located under the hotel. The reception and rooms can be reached by elevator directly from the garage. We found the rooms spacious, with either massage bathtube or massage shower. Also with fantastic view over the mountains on the other side of the valley. Some rooms have balcony. The breakfast was very good. We recommend this hotel.

It was our first vacation with baby, so it was so helpfull. Lovely place in Metsovo, with super views and very central for things. We were really happy with our choice of this hotel.

Breakfast on the mountain view terrace was excellent and the room comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is a few steps from the main square but nicely tucked away from the bustle. We did not try the spa but the small pool was very refreshing - again with a great mountain view.

- Lesley (8/5): - A family run traditional chalet-type ski hotel with lots of pine and fires in the rooms which felt rather strange when the weather was hot! The view across the valley was fantastic, probably the best in the village. The rooms are small so we upgraded to an executive suite which was slightly larger with an extra single bed. The bathrooms are basic with a shower over the bath and little shelf space. The hairdryer was one of the pipe ones fixed to the wall. Breakfast was good if a little busy at times. There is a garage below for free parking, which was a bonus. The owners were great, omnipresent and very helpful.

- Anenne (10/5): Wonderful stay with King George! - My family and I had a wonderful stay at Archontiko. Our room (303) had a spectacular view over the mountains, a spa bath and a lovely shower. The breakfast was really good. However, our highlight was the incredible warmth shown by George and his wife. They clearly love looking after their guests. They recommended a local gym to us which was worth its weight in gold. Highly recommended.

- Alexandros (10/5): Woodwork masterpiece - Fantastic comfortable stay at centrally located hotel with magnificent mountain views. Hotel is a woodwork masterpiece with rooms and communal areas nicely decorated in a traditional theme. Good breakfast is provided, which someone can enjoy on the outside terrace, and includes some local traditional produce. Guests have access to sauna, jacuzzi and a small outdoor pool. Chatty hotel owner, Giorgos, and his wife went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. Free onsite parking was a bonus. We would definitely stay again if in Metsovo.

Απίστευτη θέα στην Πίνδο! Και από τα δωμάτια και απο τον χώρο του πρωινού. Θα ξαναμέναμε χωρις δεύτερη σκέψη. Θα λατρέψετε τους ιδιοκτήτες και την άψογη εξυπηρέτηση τους.
- Kam (10/5): Motsovo hotel with views of gorgeous mountains - The owner and his wife were as pleasant and helpful as could be. Both spoke English and Greek. The hotel is beautifully decorated. A warm welcome home feeling. Amazing woodwork inside and out. The common areas are so nice and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and everything you’d want. The Nespresso machine was a hit with my husband. The homemade bread and locally made butter was to die for. The room was very clean and although a bit small for an American, it was perfect for the two of us. Had a good sized bathroom, fireplace, balcony with table and chairs where you get to take in the most gorgeous views of the mountains. I definitely will stay here again!
- Sanjeev (10/5): - Located at the heart of metsova, near the townsquare, this is a cosy boutique hotel with wonderful views..we booked a family room which is two adjoined rooms with two bathrooms.. The breakfast was fantastic, comprising homemade spread of cheeses, breads, meat and juices.. The owners were very friendly and always there to help out with any queries. Overall, it was a very good stay.

- jerome (10/5): Un hotel charmant et un gérant au top ! - Hôtel un peu défraîchi (douche balnéo pas complètement opérationnelle) par certains côté et un peu survendu (salle fitness rikiki) mais très bonne qualité de service avec Giorgio qui est vraiment aux petits soins, et fera le nécessaire pr privatiser le sauna et le jacuzzi (réservation orale nécessaire). Un accueil des plus chaleureux grace a lui. Et un vrai bon petit dej tres complet et varié avec bcp de choses faites maisons. Literie agréable, chambre un peu petite mais fonctionnelle et avec vue sur la montagne. Rue vraiment calme par ailleurs. Insonorisation correcte. Parking petit mais suffisant je pense.

- Mr A D (10/5): Amazing position. - Lovely comfortable room with balcony and a great view. Didn’t use the pool as the weather was a bit cold. Parking very convenient once we’d found the hotel. Sitting outside having breakfast was lovely. We didn’t want to use the bathroom scales that were in the room !
- Dava (10/5): Wonderful stay! Highly recommended. - I went for a day trip to Metsovo two years ago and was enchanted by this town and it’s atmosphere. This time I returned wiith my husband and we could not have booked a better place. The hotel owner is warm & welcoming, the entire place is immaculate - complete w/ modern conveniences, yet still retains a unique old world charm. We got the suite and were blown away. Has both a jacuzzi, and a fireplace for winter. Magnificent vista from the balcony. Incredibly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Must also mention the outstanding breakfast. If available, try the pita, a Metsovo “Vlach” delicacy, this is as authentic as it gets. Gem of a hotel in a lovely town with plenty of fun things to do. We will definitely return and stay longer.

- Londontraveller (10/5): Metsovo, an impulsive 2 night stop over. - On recommendation of our son, we decided to make a detour on our journey back to France. We were not disappointed. The hotel was splendid Georgious and his wife were delightful. He does actually leave his post at the 'DESK' sometimes. What a breath of fresh air. He is very helpful and knowledgeable about his environment. Oh, if you stay do have the HONEY, it is divine and from local bees. Breakfast was scrumptious, home made breads and pastries - forget the diets - the food was too good to miss. The rooms are fun and overlook the mountains. I am sure in the winter to have a log burning fire in the room would make it really cosy, no need in September though. The weather was fabulous. We ate at little local restaurants in the evening as the hotel does not provide evening meals. However, the local food is wonderful and the waiting staff willing to tell you what is good and fresh on the day. We will be back, there is no doubt about that, probably for a few days longer next time to do more exploring.

- Verified traveler (10/5): A mountain resort hotel of charm - This is a small, family run hotel, in the mountain resort of Metsovo. The village is one of the few where traditional dress can be seen on Sundays, and a generous endowment by the last in the line of one of the leading families has given the town not only a museum which well desreves to be visited, but also schools which have allowed families to remain and kept a real sense of character. Ioanina is close, and the setting and view from the hotel terrace are splendid - though marred by the new Via Egnatia which has cut a swave through some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in Greece. The staff in the hotel are kind, and solictous, and proud of their village and the hotel. Some rooms have a stove in the corner - and even a jacuzzi, which might help to relax after a heavy day of mountain walking.. I recommend this highly to those who love Greece
