• sarambdiniz (7/5): - A localização também é muito boa, nos sentimos muito seguros na região. É um bairro residencial e há mercado e farmácia próximos, sendo possível ir a pé. É uma região central para quem deseja passear por Salvador, fica entre o centro histórico e o Rio Vermelho. A pousada é muito bonita e bem cuidada, e a equipe muito atenciosa. O café da manhã é bem gostoso. Sentimos falta de uma rede para poder aproveitar a varanda, só tinha um banquinho ali. E, apesar do café da manhã ser muito bom, sentimos falta da liberdade de poder escolher os itens e quantidades, ainda que fosse pelo menos para algumas opções. Também achamos o horário do café tarde, é servido a partir das 08h. Atualmente tem obra acontecendo no terreno ao lado, fomos avisados e concordamos em manter a reserva. Não nos atrapalhou porque passamos boa parte do tempo fora, mas o barulho começa logo no horário do café da manhã e segue em todo o horário comercial.

• Ana Raquel (10/5): Uma hospedagem acolhedora em ótimo bairro de Salvador - Da localização e acolhimento dos funcionários. Ficamos apenas uma noite, a caminho da Praia do Forte. Mas foi o suficiente para perceber como cada item da pousada foi pensado com muito cuidado - do café aos quartos; da decoração à assistência ao hóspede. Certamente voltaremos. Gostei de tudo.

• Fernanda (7/5): - Great location, the house itself is quite nice, with a cute balcony. Once we met the manager she was super nice and was doing her best to ensure we had a good experience. We were unlucky because the construction right next to it resumed while we were there, so we would wake up at 8am with the noise. After request, they were nice to provide us with earbuds to reduce the noise and that softened our mornings. The rooms are nice but could use some update, they feel a bit old. The staff is nice, but when we arrived we felt a bit lost as no one gave us some basic instructions on how things work, what time was the breakfast, etc, just delivered the keys. Only the next day we ran into the manager. The breakfast is generous, but as it changes everyday, it's a bit of luck on what they will serve you that day.

Quartos muito limpos, cama grande e bem confortável. O pequeno almoço era servido pelas meninas, sempre muito variado. Experimentamos coisas diferentes todas as manhãs. O quarto era um pouco fechado, mas nada de especial.
• NOELLE (9/5): Jolie Pousada avec charme. - Decoration tres réussie, on se croirait dans une maison bourgeoise. Petit déjeuner délicieux. Personnel très agréable. Beaucoup de petites attentions. Endroit pratique car pas loin du centre et des lieux à visiter. Chambre au Rez de chaussée peu insonorisée donc pas de calme. Petit déjeuner imposé donc il faut aimer ce qui est proposé (jus de goyave frais trop sucré , viande de bœuf un jour …) pas d’alternatives possibles. Aussi : la mer est toute proche mais on ne peut pas aller sur la plage. Toutes les plages du quartier sont privées et interdites au public.
• Fábio (10/5): Casa de vó interiorana em pleno centro de Salvador - O café da manhã foi uma grata surpresa, pois consiste, na verdade, em um verdadeiro menu-degustação de delícias baianas, tanto sertanejas quanto litorâneas. Parabéns a Denise, a extraordinária cozinheira, e a Augusta, a simpaticíssima proprietária. Hei de voltar! Não dá pra dizer propriamente que seja algo de que eu não tenha gostado, mas, se pudesse fazer uma sugestão, eu diria que, como na frente da casa não há marquise nem estrutura que lhe faça as vezes, e visto que a porta de entrada fica sempre fechada, isso pode ser um problema quando, ao chegar à pousada, se espera, do lado de fora, a abertura da porta, caso esteja chovendo.

• Nokwazi (9/5): A beautiful home, that was welcoming from beginning to end. - The food was amazing. The owner and staff were helpful and friendly. The neighbouring house - was quite noisy at night. Unfortunately not within Pousada's influence.
• Piash (10/5): A Truly Unforgettable Stay in Salvador - There were so many wonderful aspects of my stay that it’s hard to list them all! First and foremost, the host and her son went above and beyond to ensure I had an incredible experience in Salvador. They provided endless valuable information and were always willing to help with anything I needed. The property itself felt like something out of a fairytale. From the moment you step inside, you’re captivated by its breathtaking decor and enchanting ambiance. It truly feels like a magical escape. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast—it’s hands down the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed at over 100 hotels! This is a 4-course, made-to-order breakfast with a rotating menu that feels more like fine dining. Every meal was an experience in itself. The location was fantastic—safe, vibrant, and incredibly walkable. There’s a security guard at night, and the neighborhood is bustling with museums, shops, and locals confidently enjoying their surroundings, phones in hand. If you’re looking for a unique and welcoming place to stay in Salvador, this is it. Highly recommended! A Few Notes for Improvement There were just a few minor things to note. There was extremely loud construction next door starting at 8 a.m. every day, but that’s completely out of the host’s control. The WiFi was a bit disappointing, and I’d highly recommend adding a router extender to improve connectivity. Lastly, while the room was lovely and the bed very comfortable, small touches like providing lotion would have been appreciated. Overall Impression Despite these minor issues, I still highly recommend this property. The exceptional hospitality, beautiful ambiance, and outstanding breakfast make it a truly memorable place to stay.
• Srh37 (10/5): A wonderful stay! - The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Everything was freshly made and beautifully presented. The courses were different each morning, and it was fun to try so many different dishes and flavors. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful, and gave lots of suggestions about places to visit and things to do. The location was also really nice, in a quiet and calm neighborhood with a few sights within walking distance.

• Grégoire (9/5): Superb - As other guests say, the breakfast is simply amazing, truly a lifetime experience, eating not just unusual ingredients if you're not familiar with Brazlian food, but very unique recipes. High five for this ! Location is sweet as well, a very quiet, safe and beautiful wealthy neighborhood with several museums & historical town houses nearby. The interior decoration, filled with art and antiques, makes you feel like you're living in one of the aforementionned houses. Doors & windows are constantly opened at the bottom lounge, terrrace & dining room, so the air and light surround you when not in you room.

The breakfast is the best I have had in many years of staying at hotels in Bahia. The staff and owner are charming and kind. A gem of a place. I will return. The location is excellent.

The house and the rooms are better than in the photos. The location is ideal for shopping, going to the beach or visiting the museums of the very chic Barra district. Maybe the view from the window of my room (if I were picky). But the decoration and the architecture of the house made me forget this.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pousada is nicely decorated and located in a nice, quiet area of the city. Lastly and most importantly, breakfast! Every day was something different but always tasty and fresh. Breakfast was the best part of our day and a great opportunity to try more of the local cuisine. We highly recommend Casa da Vitoria!
