- Paul (8/5): A weekend in Adelaide - Great location and helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. Hotel, like most in north Adelaide, is right under the the airport's flight path. So expect not to sleep in.

- Lesleyr01 (9/5): Great price and great location - I've stayed at the Comfort Inn Regal Park quite a few times this year as it is a nice hotel. Also, it is a 5min walk to the bus into Adelaide cbd. From there you can catch a tram to Glenelg beach. Also, there are great restaurants and cafe's less than 5mins away. Movie theatre 5mins away. The staff are friendly and helpful and car parking is great. I'm so happy staying there that I'm booked in again in July. Great value!

- KateC129 (6/5): Simple, well located, and free parking. - This is a motel style accommodation, well priced, and quite basic. Check-in was easy, the staff helpful, and it's easy to find. The allocated room smelt so strongly of cigarettes (despite the non-smoking sign), which wasn't a good start, and I was moved straight away. The location is lovely, and close to quite a few restaurants, except for being the flight path and I think being an older building, noise insulation isn't great. There is free parking behind the motel which is very useful although street parking wasn't always full. If you're looking for something simple, this would do.

Disappointing that breakfast was not provided as per the booking. Booking confirmation stated that this was included, however there was nothing in the room. Booking conformation stated available from Reception, but due to a late arrival/early departure - Reception was closed. Previous visit this was provided in the room. Also room did not have extra pillows.

- Terri (7/5): Nice little hotel for a short stay. - I liked the overall friendliness of the staff, they were very informative and super nice to us and weren't annoyed at all by our questions. When asked for things like tea or coffee, the cleaners were very nice about that as well. There was a spider that had been dead for quite some time beneath the curtains in our bedroom, as well as when one of us lost our phones and moved the bed, it was clear under the bed hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. I feel like cleanliness could be worked on a bit, but other than that everything else was simply okay. I do wish there were options for spreads in case you do want to have toast, because a toaster and microwave are accessible between 8am-8pm. As well as the front counter did not have pads readily accessible in case of need.

Plenty of towels and bathroom of good size and clean. Parking could be difficult with people parking there for the footy who werent staying there.
- Agustina (7/5): Nice hotel with some noise disturbances - I really liked the location, and overall the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Although this is not directly the hotel’s fault, we were placed next to a family with children who were frequently running along the hallway, hitting the walls, and making a significant amount of noise. It made it quite difficult to rest and sleep properly. Perhaps it would be helpful for the hotel to consider implementing or reinforcing policies regarding noise levels in common areas, especially when accommodating families. We didn’t feel comfortable saying anything at the time, but it did impact our overall comfort and rest, which is an important part of the stay.

Pin entry was a bit Tricky.

Easily accessed via main roads almost immediately from leaving the motel The sound proofing was atrocious. I realise that it's hard to block out the sound of jets overhead by it should be markedly easier enough to block the sound of screaming children in the hallways.

Now they are telling me this conversation never took place . I wasn't able to check in until 2am Thursday and checked out at 1030am as they had told me this is the latest I can check out at.

- DouglasC340 (8/5): Great renovated room! - Booked a stay here in one of the recently renovated rooms - was quite happy with the stay! Friendly service at check in was nice, and was explained to me that the hotel doesn't use keys or card but six digit codes (helpful if you're good at losing cards like me!) which they texted and wrote on a card for me. Plenty of parking at the rear of the property which is free! The room was really nicely renovated, with a comfortable bed, good sized TV, wardrobe, new fridge (so many hotels skimp on replacing fridges when they renovate and leave ancient, noisy ones in that don't cool properly!), split system air conditioner with individual control (greatly welcome as the weekend I stayed was horribly humid), and a great bathroom. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows which was great to sleep in each night. There were also power points by each side of the bed and pendant lamps for bedside lamps which is a good idea as it means more space for all my junk. The bathroom was excellent: a fan light heater combo was installed to keep the bathroom comfortable and get the steam out and the shower was really nice with a shower head on a hose with hand soap-body wash combo, shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. The sink had a mirror above it with lighting and heating inbuilt as well. Foolishly, I left all my toiletries in the hotel and didn't realise until I was an hour out of Adelaide - happily they were able to get them back to me via post which was greatly appreciated! All in all, I did enjoy my stay here but as they're in the middle of renovations I do have some suggestions for the future rooms they renovate (and that could be possibly implemented in the already renovated rooms) - There's nowhere in the shower to put your own toiletries. A shelf or something would be helpful - even a soap dish on the shower arm. (I found two what appeared to be previously cakes of soap on the back of the toiletry bottle holder suggesting that this may already be a problem). Also having some of the hand soap at the sink as well as in the shower would be good. - The TV is positioned in such a way that you can't access its HDMI ports to plug in your own device (they're along the right side which is very close to the wardrobe in this room). Perhaps consider adding a wall mounted HDMI port for this. - Also on the TV, this is a standard off the shelf consumer TV, not a commercial hotel TV. This means that people sign into them with their own personal accounts, which isn't being checked because mine was signed into someone's account, and going to sign out of it told me it would factory reset the TV, which I thought might not be a good idea. These need to be checked at checkout to ensure that people haven't remained signed in or they should consider switching to commercial hotel TVs that don't require guests to sign into their own accounts.

- KI_expert (8/5): basic rooms but clean and decent .... - Ok I agree with most of the bad reviews I read so far but ... what do you expect for a $150/night hotel in North Adelaide, 5 mins from the restaurants??? Really?? I find it very clean, the bed was quite good, the receptionist very happy and helpful, plenty of parking around for the car and .. they even have a pool!! So I guess if you are one of the people planning to complain about this place maybe you should book an hotel in North Terrace and pay $300 or more ... otherwise enjoy your stay here because you have booked a cheap hotel that give you basic rooms but clean and decent ....

- Dirk (7/5): Die Lage macht dieses Hotel wertvoll, mit etwas mehr Servicegedanken wäre es direkt viel angenehmer. - Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig gut gelegen, viele Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Das Zimmer war groß genug, normale Steckdose am Bett, Schreibtisch war groß. Das Personal der Rezeption war reserviert freundlich. Das Housekeeping war super freundlich. Das Personal, wenn die Rezeption denn mal besetzt war, war bedingt freundlich und man spürte als Gast, dass es Massenabfertigung ist und der einzelne Gast nicht so wichtig ist. Nachfragen wurden nur von einer Mitarbeiterin richtig behandelt, andere störte man eher in ihren Arbeitsvorgängen. USB Anschlüsse am Bett wären eine sehr gute Ergänzung und alle Schrauben der Elektroverteilung am Nachttisch sollten so sein, dass Gäste sich nicht verletzen.

All prices of accommodation had gone up because of a festival going on, but not worth the extra money. We would stay again at normal rates as it's in a great location and room was fine. Breakfast was included, but that entailed a pre-packed plain combo to be eaten in the room. Would not book there again with breakfast included as there are much nicer eateries around the corner. The included breakfast which was pre-packed and had to be eaten in the room. There was no common breakfast room.

- Russell (6/5): - Great location easy access and parking Last time I stayed there I was on level 2, awesome room very comfortable bed. This time level 1 and the room is tired and dated and bed not so comfortable. Will be requesting level 2 next time.
- Ovans (7/5): Clean budget accommodation - Good value for the price and location. Friendly staff. Clean. Bathroom and room furnishings very tired, due for a spruce up.
