- Teresita (10/5): - The Adagio Lyon Aparthotel met all our expectations. We had a triple room and found it laid out to our comfort and satisfaction. It was clean and comfortable. We had a lot of laundry so we went to the laundromat that was conveniently near the hotel.

Clean and comfortable. a bit weird to get to second building ?! Parking is cheap at 13 euros per night. if you need a place to simply sleep and move on. that's the place to go.

- SARA (6/5): Rude receptionist - The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable, which I appreciated. However, our check-in experience on 14th August was very disappointing. The receptionist was extremely rude and her behavior was completely unacceptable. The parking door was faulty, and despite me trying multiple times as instructed, it still didn’t work. Instead of helping, she sent me back and forth three times and then started speaking in French about us to other guests, assuming we wouldn’t understand. This was disrespectful and unprofessional. It’s unfortunate, because the hotel itself was nice, but the staff attitude left a very negative impression.
- Kerry (10/5): - Fabulous place to stay in Lyon. Walk to Everywhere or a tram out the front if you need it. Staff are amazing - we arrived before 11.00am and we were checked in super early. Our room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed at our fingertips. The air conditioner was awesome - it was a 38 degree day and we were comfortably cool in our room. Thanks guys, we’d definitely stay again.

Nice outdoor patio area. Nice neighborhood. Convenient location and access to transit. I was there during a heat wave and appreciated that the AC worked well!
- Michael (8/5): - Stayed in June for 9 nights in two bed studio. I would rate it 8 out of 10. Here is why. Good things. - Stuff is very attentive and nice. - Location is very convenient. It's off bitten tourist's path but just 2 km from central city square. The tram stop is just 2 min away. It takes 10 - 15 minutes (2 tram and 2-4 metro stops) to get to any place in old city or city center. - There are some local restaurants (mostly pizza and kebabs though) around. - There is a ATM just 50 meters from entrance. - There is a Casino convenience store closed by. It has practically everything you need. - The surroundings are mostly very quiet. We had a room facing patio inside and did not even hear church bells with windows closed. - There is a kitchenette in the room with refrigerator which actually can be made very cold. Now to not so great part. - The room looks renovated, but thew carpet looked old and worn out. - There is a bath with shower head. The head is not behind shower curtain but behind glass plate which does not cover much. You can't take a shower without splashing tones of water on the floor. - Air conditioning works, but not strong enough. May be because we've got very hot weather. They could not fixed it. - The door lock did not work. For several days after housekeeping room remained basically unlocked. It was fixed later. - The room had a safe, but very finicky. Sometimes locked sometimes not. In short. Good place to say. Not without the issues. 8 out of 10 looks right.

The availability of laundry facilities was also a bonus. The room was a little warm after a hot day, but opening the windows help. Would stay here again

Very little outside noise despite room being at the front of the hotel and being on a tram route. Plenty of bars & restaurants within easy walking distance. All staff very friendly & helpful & hotel very clean.

The room was fine for two people sleeping separately since it had the pull-out sofa, although the pull-out wasn’t the most comfortable. The space was tight, but workable. The staff were all very pleasant and the breakfast that I opted to pay extra for was actually more extensive than I expected. It’s nothing luxurious, but definitely good for a basic moderately priced hotel.

- Helen R (8/5): Large and modern Aparthotel - Modern and efficient Aparthotel on tram line to Perrache and Part-Dieu train stations. Comfortable. Location is good, but not right in the heart of the tourist area. It requires a short tram ride plus a short metro ride, or a moderate walk, to get to the main area.

- Donald Anthony (8/5): - Our stay at Aparthotel Adagio Lyon Patio was very good and the staff was very attentive. We stayed during an unusual heat wave where the temperatures were 95F degrees plus and one day it hit 100F degrees! Our room air conditioner went out and was not repaired until the next day. Under the circumstances the air was just adequate. We would stay here again. Tram is a 5 minute walk from the hotel entrance and very convenient.
- Nasri (10/5): - Great friendly staff, always ready to help. We rented the large studio (3 people). The room is large enough to accommodate 3 without stepping on each other's feet. Room service adapted most of the time to our schedule even the day we left at almost 14:00. However, they won't do the dishes (so you'll have to purchase dishwashing liquid and sponge). I strongly recommend the place.

- Oscar (10/5): - I'd thoroughly enjoyed my stay. First off the staff would help me in speaking French and learning French culture also they were very polite & friendly, answering all my questions. I'd extended my stay due to how convenient everything was a few minutes walking one direction gets you to the shopping center/ restaurants or a few minutes the opposite direction gets you to the train station. The people outside the hotel were very friendly as well but be warned you'll walk through a few smoke clouds. If I decide to visit Lyon France again this would be one place to consider heavily.

- Dyana (10/5): - The area is GREAT! We had everything we needed in Lyon.. places to eat, a grocery store and awesome shopping, all within an easy walk from the apartment. Both the tram lines and the metro were within a 5 minute walk. There is also a laundry on site which was great, Loved the staff (who were very helpful and spoke English, which was very nice given that French leaves something to be desired). I would absolutely stay here again!!

- Charles (10/5): - I like the Confluence area, it is about 8 mins walk to the Parrache station which is 3 metro stops to Bellecour square where all the action is. The Parrache station is kind of like a dividing line between a quieter and residential Confluence area and the hustle & bustle of the city. There is a Lidl supermarket in 4 mins walk and a bigger supermarket in the mall which is 8 to 10 mins walk. Lots of bakeries close by and cheap eating options too. The room has a small kitchen, but you have to ask the reception to unlock the cabinet where all the pot & pans and dishes are stored. And if you want a Nesspresso machine, you can put a deposit of 50 euros but you get that back when you return it. The only downside to my room is that it is directly opposite the church which rings its bell every 15mins from 9am to 6 or 7pm so if you are not an early person or if you want to nap in the afternoon, make sure you ask for a room facing the courtyard and not the street before you arrive. Also, the tram line creates a lot of noise. There are double windows to cut out all the noise and air conditioning. However, we came during October, it happens to be very warm between 18c to 24c, It is too warm to close the window and not hot enough to turn the A/C on so we are forced to close all the windows at night which makes the room very warm at night. We did turn the fan of the AC on to the max which helps. The 2 single beds were quite narrow and hard for US standard but they were not unbearable.

- Bryan (8/5): - The room was clean with daily housekeeping. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room equipment (fridge) was missing a door to the freezer compartment and everything got too cold- however we only used it for cold drinks so didn't relly affect us. The air con was turned off and the room was too hot at night - had to have a window open.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Value - Good value for the price I paid. Staff was fantastic, and it was easily accessible to the train station (although as a solo female, I hesitated to use it at night as you have to cross the tunnel to get to the hotel), and a good bakery down the street. There were really noisy guests making use of the courtyard, which was distracting, but had nothing to do with my rating. Mattress was too firm for my comfort, but that seems to be standard in France. My only two notes were that the hair dryer was some contraption with a hose that got too hot to touch (very unpleasant surprise when it came in contact with my arm a few times). The other was that the overhead lights in the hallway outside the room are on a motion sensor, and there's no other light. The hallway was pitch black at night, and I found that I had to walk several steps outside of my room (in the dark) before the motion sensor was triggered.

- DAN (8/5): - My first visit to Leon and this was a great choice. 2 blocks from Gare Parrache and east access to the Trams and Metros. Great staff, nice sized room and fairly comfortable bed. Air conditioning was barely adequate but I think that’s an overall Europe failing and not just this hotel. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
