O hotel não tinha recebido a confirmação do pagamento feito através do Booking, o que quase resultou em cobrança dobrada. O estacionamento no hotel é caro, mas os estacionamentos na região são ainda mais caros.

Melanie (4/5): Weed in the hotel so the whole floor was closed? - The other hotel I stayed at. At first they had no record of my stay, tried to make me pay again and then when "there was no available room because someone smoked weed on our floor and they had to close it" they made us walk with all of our stuff to a sister hotel.

nativetex21 (8/5): A Short Stay in Austin - Overall nice stay. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Room had a kinda stale smell upon initial entry but once we ran the air a bit it went away. Nice and quiet room even by elevator. Room had nice space—a little sitting area in the room. If you don’t want to pay for valet parking there are options to park on street which can be tricky to find at times but there are parking garages in walking distance that offer economical options. Very close to dining and other attractions downtown.
Kayla (10/5): Great staff, location, and hotel itself! Amazing value! - I don't usually write reviews but my one night stay at the Hyatt Place was exceptional! A few of my friends and I traveled to Austin for Friday girls night. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is great for groups (more than enough room for the 4 of us in a double queen + sofa bed room) and could not be in a better location from all the action in Austin. The free breakfast was great too, definitely better than more other complimentary breakfasts I've had.

Although it does not have outdoor seating, there is a grocery store and restaurants on the block that do. One of the better breakfasts that had some variety over the 4 days we were there. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

491roroc (2/5): Skip this hotel too much for the little they offer - Staff was cold and uncomfortable, continental breakfast was bland, room lets in a lot of light. $65 a night in parking, can’t get your own car for in and out, have to tip each time, restaurant is like an old diner, $45 each way to the moody center and a 50 min wait for them to arrive.

The hotel was within a perfectly reasonable walking distance with an EXCELLENT breakfast. The room was spacious and even though there were three to a room, we did not feel cramped whatsoever.

They greeted me with smiles, and because volume was low they put me into a room with a great view on the 17th floor. Breakfast had every option you can think of! Every member of the staff was so pleasant and helpful. And the room was super clean, everything worked great, plenty of coffee, a mini-fridge, spacious desk, drawers and wardrobe, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

There should be more than one option for meats. The waffle mix should be a batter that you prepare at the time you get ready to eat. Not cooked ahead of time, cut up, and placed on a tray to serve. It was cold. The waffle brand needs to be changed, not a good taste.

D7873RImichaelf (10/5): The Hyatt Place Austin Downtown is a great place to stay when seeing the city. - Hyatt Place Austin Downtown is a very nice hotel in a great location downtown where I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. The staff was courteous and professional and the breakfast is the best buffet style one I've ever had. My room was clean, comfortable, and modern with a good bed and really nice bathroom. I picked the hotel for it's proximity the location of a concert I attended and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Within walking mg distance to restaurants, shops and bars. When showering water would not drain and stayed full. Tried contacting staff but phone didn’t work. Valet was worthless having not walk around and find someone to drop my car off too and even picking up my car I had to track someone down to help me and get my keys.
DriveAllNight (10/5): So pleased! - We stayed for three nights. Had a lovely room on the 18th (top) floor. Clean and beds were comfortable. Good location - a quick and inexpensive ride share to South Congress. A special shout out to the two managers who helped us resolve an unusual situation - Austin West and Mackenzie Scott - both were so pleasant and patient and resourceful. :) The entire staff of this hotel is just a delight. Highly recommend.

CADAMI1 (10/5): Good stay at Hyatt Place - We had a good 2-night stay at the Hyatt Place in Austin. The location is great, right in the middle of downtown, but quiet. The room was very large and it was nice it didn't have carpet. Breakfast was better than many chain hotels. Parking was expensive, and only valet was available, but it was the standard price for downtown, so we can't really complain. Hyatt is one of my preferred chains, and this hotel didn't disappoint.

Front desk was very friendly and as a discoverist, I was granted late check out 2 pm, upgraded to a higher floor, and waters. Breakfast was up to Hyatt place standards.

yig0ngm (2/5): Late-Night Hot Water Outage With No Advance Notice; Refunded but Poorly Managed - Due to a pipe burst, the hotel had no hot water for multiple days, including overnight hours. Guests were not informed in advance of this issue. At approximately 11:00 PM, I was notified that hot water would not be available for the night and was asked to consider canceling the reservation at that time. Given the hour, this placed the burden entirely on the guest. No proactive assistance with relocation or alternative accommodations was offered. While hotel management later issued a full refund for the stay, which was appropriate, the overall handling of the situation fell short of reasonable expectations for a Hyatt property, particularly with respect to communication and guest care during a major service disruption.

Francine (9/5): Good spot to rest after a busy day - The breakfast available offered a variety of choices from hot oatmeal to eggs with all the fixings. The location was downtown in the heart of Austin. Parking is very difficult and needed to use the valet service which was very expensive per day ($50) plus tip. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Always smiling! Aside from the very expensive cost for daily parking- all was good. I think they might consider changing out the beds more frequently- mine had quite a few body dents which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable.

jaelsl (10/5): An Exceptional Stay From Start to Finish - I had such an amazing time staying there from the customer service of the staffs to the cleanliness of the hotel room, to the amazing breakfast spread that they offered, overall, it was such an amazing experience.
Rodriguez (10/5): Amazing - I enjoyed the breakfast because they have a variety of options. The selection was good, and the food tasted good compared to others. The room was spacious and provided everything we needed. The location was perfect and fit for our travels. It is close to 6th street (where bars are located). It is a pleasant neighborhood, and the staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Just a heads up there is valet parking! This is usually what we get.
