• Sonal (7/5): Expected more - The room size was great and the hotel is close to old town and china town. The room needs refurbishing. The bed quilt cover was upside down making it uncomfortable to sleep and in correcting the duvet it became clear the reason was due to stains on the duvet cover.

Excellent location. Did culinary exploration with the family, saw the Candranaya and Kota Tua. On December and near to the Christmas stay was perfect not so crowded. Windy and couple days of raining. Reasonably priced. Very Recommended. We definitely will come again 👍👍👍

• Nv260289 (10/5): Staycation - Don’t pass by on this hotel for a Jakarta Barat visit Modern hotel in a quiet safe location in Jakarta Barat a short walk from the Kota Tua. An amazing room so spacious roomy. Excellent wi-fi, cold A/C, well maintained room cleaning, good hot water and very quiet rooms. This hotel made my stay in Jakarta Barat and don’t let the location put you off as everything is so accessible very easy. The breakfast is a friendly modern area, very delicious and many variety of Asian. The staff are very helpful and friendly and worked hard at breakfast time to. The breakfast was very good and plenty full and tasty. Will be back here again soon. Don’t miss out on this great holiday and avoid using car as the parking space will be crowded on the public holiday since it's narrowed

• leosW6543EV (10/5): Holiday with famaly - Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada is a great option for stay in Jakarta Barat The spacious and well equipped rooms at Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada, make this great option for a stay in Jakarta Barat and an ideal base from which to explore the city, then come back relax, unwind and enjoy a good rest. Our superior room was provided with a good sofa and a well equipped with smart TV 55", meaning that we could have easily find excitement. Room is well maintained and clean, A/C is very cold and the hot water works very well The hotel also provides and excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice from the self service buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the hotel stored our bags before check-in and after check-out meaning that we could maximise our time in Jakarta Barat. Be smart on picking time since Jalan Gajah Mada has odd or even plate number in specific time, parking lot a little bit narrowed if you bring your own vehicle

• arie438130 (8/5): Good hotel in Harmoni Area - Stayed here for 3 nights. I booked the superior suite. The room is great with ample space for living room and bed room. The bad point is the wifi signal is not stable. Beside that, everything was perfect. Food is great, however breakfast was little bit dissapointing. The room service however was good with plenty of choices. The hotel is great and i will want to go there again someday.

House keeping always leave the house keeping hang tag on the floor which I don't understand what it's supposed to mean. If I hang it on the door handle, it is on the floor when I come back room. 2. Also some of my personal gadget was missing. I didn't feel the house keeping quality acceptable. 3. Shower water never got hot.

• 1speight1234 (10/5): One of the best Novotel hotels - The staff are so friendly and will help with anything, the rooms are spotless and large with free water in room. The breakfast is good selection, I also ordered room service this was good price and nice food , accommodating of food requirements too. The location is good where you can walk to parts of Jakarta but also taxis are cheap and always available outside, there is a Starbucks opposite which is handy too. This hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city and I will be staying again as I’m very happy.

Bartender must have been new to the job. We asked for whiskey and gin, but she had none. She did have red wine. It was from an already opened bottle and it was sour. Went for some of the snacks and all four were stale and inedible. Couple the bar experience with the run down condition of the hotel, we stayed one night and went to another hotel down the street. This experience was not typical of Novotel previous occasions.

The facilities are old. I stayed three nights. No hot water when showering for many times. There is no electricity in my room during the last stay after using hairdryer for like 5 minutes. The staff helped change my room in the end. The elevator sometimes doesn’t stopped at the proper place.

The service was great and the rooms were comfortable and clean. AC comfort cold and you can relax by showering with the hot water. Thank you for the housekeeping, reception and the whole team at Novotel. The breakfast were to notch especially the local food on buffet and the sambal. Really enjoyed the 24/7 night life in Jakarta old town as well mix with China town and abundant of street foods. Even then, the hotel was helpful in directing us where to go just simply ask the staff they gladly will assist you with smile and fast! But this would have made our whole stay pretty much flawless. The MRT project made the street in front of the hotel dense and busy and its very unfortunate, I’ll say the parking lot little bit narrow. Otherwise I do highly recommend this place for families or couples who want an oasis amidst the craziness of Jakarta Old Town.

Loved the location, was walking distance to local food and things to do. The staff here was incredibly sweet and helpful. The room was clean. The pool was clean, quiet, and enjoyable. But the thing is the MRT project near hotel is very noisy and caused such traffic.

• Luca (7/5): Weekend a jakarta - Bella struttura, staff molto gentile, possibilità di massaggio a buon prezzo, camere grandi, bagno spazioso Posizione così così, su una strada molto trafficata, moquette che sapevano di fumo anche se la stanza era per non fumatori, staff molto lento nel servire cibo e caffè. Una struttura bella che andrebbe sfruttata molto meglio, tutto sommato accettabile

• Pauline (9/5): Superb - The rooms were very big and clean, the beds super comfortable. And it was great to be able to visit the Candra Naya residence so easily, it is the residence of my ancestors, the Khouw and Phoa families. The shower only had cold water, no matter which way we turned the faucet.
