Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was beautifully constructed and maintained property. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home.
- Clay (10/5): - The room and common areas were immaculately clean. The breakfast served was delicious on both days of our stay. The Inn sits on a beautiful quiet piece of property. We will definitely be back.
- Hayes (10/5): - Thanks for your hospitality and for the excellent breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The innkeepers were excellent. The food was excellent. The room was spacious and comfy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A shelter from the storm evacuation was made relaxing and comfortable by the owners who made us feel like family. The grounds are beautiful for a walk or swim. They even provided lunch and dinner.
- PinecrestMayyor (10/5): - Like my wife and I, most of the guests were traveling to another destination on I-95, and selected the Horse Stamp Inn in lieu of a highway motel. We always try to avoid a "Comfort Inn" type motel and this was a great choice. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend to any traveler.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We rested overnight after trip to Cumberland Island. It was magnificent!
- Heather (10/5): - Beautiful property. Staff very friendly and welcoming
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gorgeous rooms, fabulous property, gracious hosts. Best bed and breakfast i have ever stayef at.
- Stewart (10/5): Top Shelf! Best B & B I have ever stayed at. - The Horse Stamp Inn is a wonderful B & B 5 miles off I-95, but quite the peaceful and secluded spot. Extremely clean and comfortable. Hosts Tim and Pam are very accommodating for their guests. Gourmet breakfast is a sit down with the other guests at the Inn. 5 minutes to the interstate and a half-hour to St. Simons Island or St. Marys. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Perfect for couples or small groups.
- craig (10/5): Stupendous Seductive Setting specifically serene - What I was looking for, different and accommodating. Alluring, quiet, picturesque, and comfortable. I will seek another visit there and share the value of this place with others.
- Diane (10/5): Very nice stay off I-95 - Lovely comfortable inn located right off I-95 making it very convenient for snowbird travel to FL. Very nice innkeeper who prepares a great breakfast. Inn is about 12 years old with beautiful architecture and decor.
- Anthony (10/5): We loved it! - The Horse Stamp Inn was a fantastic experience. We booked a room because it was in close proximity to the summer camp where our kids were staying and their pickup time was early. We planned on taking a day trip to one of the nearby beaches. However, the environment Tim and Pam have created is so welcoming and relaxing that we made every effort not to leave the grounds. The hospitality is second to none and the place is simply gorgeous. The only downside is that you do have to drive a little ways for lunch and dinner options (the Inn’s three course breakfast is great)—but that’s not a big deal if you plan on it. We are already trying to figure a way to get back and have recommended the place to several of our friends.
- Diane (10/5): Weekend at the Horse Stamp Inn - Beautiful house and grounds!! We felt very comfortable and at home. We will definitely stay again. The Sea Bisquit Suite was phenomenal !!!
- Tammy (10/5): Fairy tale - I can't say Enough good things about our stay!! It truly was magical! The hosts treated us like family! The bed was AMAZING! The grounds stunning! The breakfast was delicious!! We will always treasure this experience!
- Mark (10/5): Great B&B - Absolutely awesome!! Wonderful owners, very personable!
- George (10/5): First rate B&B, exceptional service and grace - Literally the best B&B we have encountered from the standpoint of service, gracious welcome. The facility itself is beautiful and meticulously maintained. Tom (proprietor) goes out of his way to provide a warm welcome and accommodate requests. He is also a first-rate chef. When my wife asked for a straight chair so she could more easily use her laptop, Tom upgraded us to a room with a table and chairs -- a suite that ordinarily costs considerably more. This was done with grace and a smile. A full pitcher of fresh orange was provided so we could enjoy our screwdrivers on the lovely veranda. Absolutely first rate. The Ritz Carlton would not have been up to the same standard.
- Nic (10/5): Wonderful B&B - We spent one night on our way down the coast, and wanted a 'change of pace' after spending a week in Savannah and Charleston, so chose this off the tourist route B&B because it was ranch/plantation style. The owners greeted us and made us feel right at home, but didn't invade our privacy. We were the only guests that night - we had the ranch to ourselves for most of the evening, as the owners went into town. We were given wine and beer, and a tasty cheese platter with olives and dips (dinner not provided - we went in to Jekyll Island for an early dinner then came back for the cheese platter later). We ate sitting outside on the screened in back porch for three hours enjoying the evening by the pool. Breakfast was provided (large portions) and was very tasty. I would highly recommend this place for a wedding or a small group get-away, or if you just want to get away from it all and don't want to stay in a regular hotel but have high quality rooms.
- Virginie (10/5): Affordable and close to the islands - My husband and I stayed there for a babymoon when I was 7 months pregnant. The owners welcomed us as if we were family. The room was very spacious and comfortable, bathroom was very clean. The house has a game/TV room, sitting rooms, a big kitchen, dining room, screened in patio, swimming pool, fire pit, pond, barn, and even a cemetery! All of these are open to the guests. Tom and Kris paid attention to details, and breakfasts were delicious. We were lucky enough to be the only ones staying there for our first 2 nights, so we could even have requests for our breakfast menu! The house is about 30 minutes away from St Simons Island, Jekyll Island or St Marys (Cumberland Island), so day trips are easy. I would not hesitate to go back if I'm in the area again.
- Marta (10/5): Outstanding choice! - Fabulous, tasteful, confortable, welcoming and highly recommended!
