Very walkable area with several restaurants, a pharmacy right at the corner and several grocery stores around the block. Breakfast was really nice too with eggs to order. Closest Metro Station is Grand Boulevards about a 7 minutes walk.

We wanted to make ramen in our room, and they provided bowls and utensils. We asked for coffee recommendations, and they gave us a list of personal favorites. The soundproofing of the rooms is great! The location is really good. You can get food, coffee, and pastries within 5mins in all directions. Very close to metro stations. It's in a quiet area too so you don't have traffic or loud people at night. The best part was definitely the staff and the service the provided. The only downside was that the view from our specific room wasn't good. But it's not like we spent a lot of time in our room.

- Michael (10/5): - Excellent experience at this property, the staff clearly take pride in keeping the rooms clean for guests, the breakfast is very enjoyable with a varied selection of cakes, pastries, fruit and cheeses. The immediate area outside the hotel is not very appealing, a run down church adds some charm but this is forgivable as you are only a short 10 minute walk from some lovely restaurants. For those interested in the Louvre, expect a modest 30 minute walk which was our main reason for choosing this hotel. Staff are friendly and most speak English but not all, those that don't try hard and use translation apps to help. Overall we had no problem communicating our needs. I would highly recommend this to others as we had a pleasant two nights here without issue, with comfortable beds and nice showers too.

- Karla (10/5): - The hotel was beautifully designed! The room was spacious and bright. The Japans bathtub is a life saver after walking kilometres all day around Paris. The only area of improvement would be the wash the floors more often. They laminate was quite dirty. The staff were not very friendly with the exception of Jennie, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Overall 9/10 for our 10 day stay at Hotel de Nell.

It was about a 20 minute walk from the Louvre, 45 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. However there’s a metro station just a 4 minute walk away that was very convenient.

- Sheila (6/5): It’s okay - The hotel wants to be great but lacks any real charm. The walls need some art to warm it up. The rooms felt bare and cold. They did have a really cute place to sit and have a coffee or drink inside the hotel and the breakfast looked good ( we went outside the hotel for breakfast). Pretty no frills and they oversell themselves a bit as a “5 star hotel”. The location was fine and within walking distance to the metro but there are better neighborhoods to stay.
- John Anthony de St (10/5): - We stayed at Hôtel de Nell for 9 nights. We have been to Paris a lot over the years but it’s our first time staying in this hotel. Staff at reception are always attentive and kind, specially a lady with long dark hair whose name we didn’t ask but who was there to greet us almost every single day and helped us reorganize a restaurant reservation for my husband’s Birthday. The room is modern, clean and airy; they offer a mini fridge, a Nespresso Coffee maker and a kettle both with complimentary coffee pods and tea bags. Upon arrival you will get a welcome Madeleine and a scone and a compliment bottle of water (any extra bottles will be charged). You also get a nice robe and slippers (there is a Spa on the ground level), hairdryer and umbrellas but no iron, although they do offer a laundry service. Towels and sheets were always fresh and clean and the toiletries smelled great ( note they have shampoo but no conditioner). My only comments regarding things that can be improved are: The bathroom sink is nice and modern but it will splash your clothes every time you use it, we concluded that the reason is that the faucet is too big for the sink, I think it’s a design problem. There is a single recessed floor light for the shower area making it impossible to see when using a razor or trying to figure out how the shower works! Breakfast was nice but we found cheaper options literally 5 minutes away. Lots of great restaurants nearby and close to the Metro. Would definitely stay again!

- Andreas Martin (10/5): Perfect place in Paris - Perfect place in Paris, very central in the 10th arrondisment. While there is obviously a well functioning metro system, we chose to use our feet and walk 17 miles through the entire city center. Paris remains a world capital and has lots of obvious and less obvious things to see and visit. In some areas, it was excessively packed with tourists, but after all, we were tourists too. The hotel was everything we needed and offered a chic, modern, and very comfortable interior. Everyone was charming. While for most days we chose to go to a nearby bakery and grab some croissants etc on the run, there was also a wonderful breakfast buffet in the hotel with multiple selections – for us perfect prior to going to gare de Lyon to catch our TGV. Every aspect of the hotel was delightful, but what truly set it apart was the phenomenal staff. Their dedication to ensuring we had a memorable experience was unparalleled. They went above and beyond in every way imaginable, consistently presenting themselves as pleasant, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Our room, while on the cozier side, was immaculately clean and furnished just right with a modern touch. Given the plethora of attractions Paris has to offer, we primarily used our room for resting. And speaking of rest, the beds at Hotel de Nell are divine. The mattresses cradle you in comfort, guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep. One small oversight on my part was not taking advantage of their sumptuous breakfast from the get-go. I had mistakenly thought it was just a buffet; had I known you could order eggs as an addition, I would’ve saved myself the effort of looking elsewhere. To any future guests: don’t make the same mistake I did. Trust me, you won’t find a better breakfast spot nearby. I want to reiterate my appreciation for the amazing staff. Their cheerfulness and informative nature truly enhanced our trip. This being my inaugural review on Expedia speaks volumes about how much I valued their service. In summary, Hotel de Nell is a gem in the heart of Paris. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again. Highly recommended!

- Robert (10/5): Very modern comfortable hotel - This has not become my favorite hotel in Paris and I have been here more than a dozen times. I will be back to Hotel de Nell. It is not in the location I like the best but with Uber who cares. It does have many close attractions and some very good places to eat. The hotel was very comfortable, bed was great. great breakfast and the staff went out of the way to help you.
- German (10/5): - Wonderful 5- star hotel. The staff was wonderful, always willing to assist you. Location is perfect size it’s very quiet. We were within 30 minute’s of walking to most sites. Will be returning.
- Christophe (10/5): - Great room: clean, good layout and well decorated, and felt expensive without being overly expensive. Staff was also very nice and helpful, and the location is fairly close to public transit.
- Suhaa (10/5): - What a beautiful little hotel with modern and elegant amenities. Lovely breakfast buffet, very comfortable room with deluxe Nuxe products that smell amazing! Located around many cafes and restaurants, this was the perfect stay in Paris! Hotel team made getting around very easy.

- alan (2/5): - My hotel room's bathroom was used (number 2) by a staff member without our permission (while my wife and I were out) and left in a mess (smelly and dirty). The desk staff admitted that the person who changes the minibar is seen on video going into our room shortly before we returned, so it was likely him. The manager at this facility was unwilling to work with us in terms alleviating the emotional stress this invasion of privacy left me and my wife in on our trip, challenging us to contact our credit card company if we feel the need. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this facility to anyone coming to Paris.

- Mary (10/5): - The Hotel de Nell is such a find in Paris! In an off-beat neighborhood (the Folies Berger is around the corner), it offered a welcoming, elegant oasis. The reception staff were unaninimously helpful, warm and welcoming. We will be back!
- Mahendra (6/5): - Very courteous staff. The rooms were nice, but the air conditioning never worked in our room. Eventually, the shower went faulty too. So, they moved us to another room where everything was working. However, this room was much smaller than the original. Overall, courteous staff, sound proof rooms and very nice location / food.
