Has a restaurant literally next to it which I felt bad not dinning in it because it looked great. Next trip up in the Toluca area I will stay there again... limited review due to my busy day but it was a pleasant stay.

Severino (4/5): Go somewhere else, this is not up to Marriott standards. Or bring good earplugs. - Fresh fruits at breakfast was the highlight of this staying. The staff was really courteous and helpful. Complimentary parking is a plus. It was impossible to rest at night. All day and all night long dogs barking. I was on the 4th floor, I requested a room opposite side of the highway and train but even worse. The window (single glaze panel) didn't even close properly. And the cherry on top of the cake was the party at 3:30 in the morning with loud music coming from a garage in the neighborhood. I could even hear the freight train blowing its whistle while passing by, and my colleagues facing the road and train confirmed it was very very loud, especially at night. Terrible terrible experience.

Sergio (2/5): - El servicio es el pésimo, fotos de la app no son las mismas, en un engaño, cambian las fotos de las categorías en las habitaciones, eventualmente no dan solución al problema. Actitud displicente y prepotente de la Srita Yolotzin Vera de recepción, que al explicar la inconformidad ya que se seleccionó esa categoría de habitación por las fotos en expedía y con el costo muy adicional a la habitación básica, simplemente se limitó a decir: no es problema de Marriot sino de Expedía, si desea pida su cancelación y devolución a expedía”. Se le comenta el dar otra habitación adicional a cambio y contesta con actitud cínica: “puede reservarla y con gusto se la damos”. Se pidieron toallas extras a la habitación en dos ocasiones y jamás llevaron, se tuvieron que solicitar directamente a la camarista que estaba en el pasillo. El desayuno buffet es caro y pésimo; no ofrece nada mas que huevos al gusto, hoy cakes y fruta. El penúltimo día de estancia las llaves de la habitación estaban bloqueadas sin razón, tuvimos que bajar a reactivarlas. Las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear, nada que ver con la calidad en su categoría como hotel, de sus franquicias similares en Mexico o en USA. Las camas y las almohadas muy poco cómodas. A 100-300 metros de distancias sobre la misma avenida se encuentran diversos hoteles diversos como el Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn Express que sin duda son una mejor opción y lo peor es que mas económico. Lo más lamentable es tender fotos no reales

EL CARGO NO SE PUDO REALIZAR POR TELEFONO Y APARTE ME COBRARON MAS DE LO QUE YA HABIA PAGADO, ASI QUE PAGUE NOCHE Y MEDIA O MAS POR 5 HORAS DE ESTANCIA!!! APARTE TUVE QUE SALIR CASI A MEDIA NOCHE A PAGAR DIRECTO EN EL HOTEL!!! TAMBIEN TRABAJO Y SE DE ATENCION AL CLIENTE Y EN ESTE CASO... PESIMA ATENCIÓN PESIMA

Ryan (8/5): Nice Place in Toluca - The hotel is one of the nicer properties in Toluca. If you need to be in Toluca, this is the place to stay. It feels very safe. The property and the rooms are very clean. Excellent, bi-lingual staff is there to help and offer assistance. The breakfast is very good, albeit overpriced. The only complaint I had was the shower; it took nearly five minutes to get warm. Also, the restaurant next door was a good option.

Jason (2/5): Poor customer service - I booked my hotel through hotels.com. Received a confirmation email and everything. I showed up at the hotel only to find that the hotel front desk clerk told me I did not have a reservation. Once I got hotels.com involved in it, we figured out that the hotel had canceled my reservation without notifying me or hotels.com. They said they were full and had to send me down the road to another hotel. I have stayed here before, I always stay here when coming to this area. It’s fine for business when you’re just using it to sleep. However, I’m not impressed with the service received this last time
Daniel (4/5): Had reservation moved after overbooking - The hotel overbooked and moved me to another hotel near the airport. They had a hired car drop me off there, claiming it was a complimentary shuttle, then tried to charge me for it. They also did not transfer the reservation to the new hotel, making things more complicated. Only after having a hotels.com rep call them and get things sorted was this rectified. After talking ti a few people, this is a somewhat regular thing for this establishment.

OSCAR (8/5): OPTIMO PARA LO QUE UTILICE - Fue una experiencia de una sola noche, por lo que fue completamente suficiente las condiciones del Hotel. Debido a que iba solo a una fiesta y esta se celebraba en uno de los salones del Hotel, debido a esto fue el lugar de alojamiento ideal para mi estacia en la ciudad. Asi es que no puedo decir más que estuvo bien.

Brandon (4/5): American Cookie Cutter Hotel that Charges Extra - The location of the hotel was quite nice & the staff was incredibly friendly, however, like most American companies, they smile to your face while they steal from you. I was charged 600 pesos for breakfast that Expedia indicates is included. The friendly receptionist took my information & asked me to email someone about the problem (presumably the marketing manager). This has happened to me often in MX. I won't hear anything back. The first day, they didn't have ANY hot items on the buffet, just cold cuts, cheese, cereal, and old bread. I live in CDMX. I know they didn't pay more than 400 pesos FOR EVERYONE to eat. The next day, we didn't waste our money on the abysmal food. So... in total, this typical American hotel stole 1,200 pesos.

Gustavo (8/5): Nice hotel, but check your credit card statement - checked in at 2 am. Their were large gates that had to be opened from the inside. This is secure, but it was awful as I waited in the rain for them to open gate. Although I fully paid through hotels.com, they charged me 2X the what I had already been charged. Called to get money back and currently their system is down and they can't help me. Other than being charged twice, the place is lovely.

Nathan (10/5): Pretty good hotel in Toluca - Nice hotel. The Toluca soccer team was staying there when I was there so it must be one of the nicer hotels around. Seemed like an average marriott for USA standars, but good for Mexico. There is a restaurant in front of the hotel (basically in the parking lot) that has the best food I've ever had while in Mexico. The hotel did not have my reservation with Hotels.com so this was a big issue. I waited about one hour to check in, after I refused to pay again which is what they suggested. Not sure if this was their fault or not. They said this had never happened before. One hour check in was not fun. Staff spoke English.

Deivid (10/5): It's the best hotel in the city - I had a great time here, the room has enough space, it was really clean and it has a view of "Nevado de Toluca" Volcano, a cool way to start the day. The staff is really friendly, few hotels in Mexico can brag about it, well, this can, Antonio at the front desk is really cool and always smiling. I had a car problem when I was in Toluca streets, with 2 tires, I called the hotel, they offered to contact the toll, and they let me park the car right in front of the lobby all night, til next morning and to 3 pm, til I got the chance to fix the problem. Because of the car thing I had to stay for a Little longer passing check out time, well the FrontDesk manager was so understanding with that, giving me the chance of check out a Little later. I had a friend visiting me while I was staying at the hotel, and we were at the "terraza" til 3 am, we were the only people there, and they didn't turn the lights off or anything. The only downside was prices at the restaurant, but there's a hotel thing everywhere I guess.

We were traveling all around Mexico when we booked this hotel to explore Toluca and hike the Nevado de Toluca. Very comfortable, beautiful rooms. We requested a room on an upper floor so we would have a view. Totally worth it. The pool is nice and the gym is large. Great staff. The restaurant attached to the hotel was the best meal we had all month. Of course we spent two days worth of budget but the food was superb. I am a steak snob and it was wonderful. The location is out of downtown, but it is easy to grab a cab just outside on the main road. There is no real neighborhood to walk around in, but it is also very quite.
