Guest Reviews
- Wendy (6/5): Need renovation - Hotel going down the hill. Need major renovation. The room is dirty but the staff are excellent service
- MIGUEL (10/5): - Conveniently located from Souq Waqif, 15 minutes walking. Room and cleanliness top level.
- Abderrahim (10/5): - Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent
- Majdi (6/5): - Nothing
- Guillermo (6/5): Me esperaba bastante mas... - Hotel muy simple y algo alejado de las principales atracciones turisticas.
Tiene una mezquita enfrente muy ruidosa desde las 5 a.m.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was fine but in my opinion a bit expensive. Also difficult to sleep because of the loud noise during the night. The floor mat in the room was uncomfortable because it is dirty and hard to clean. Service was nice and felt very safe.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great budget-friendly place to stay in Doha - I really enjoyed my stay at the K108. The price was excellent considering how big the room was and how clean the hotel is. Super service at the front desk, and a great location within walking distance to the Corniche, the souk, and several big museums. Perfect place to stay for my first time in Doha.
- Joanna (10/5): - I had a fantastic stay at the 108K Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located close to Souq Waqif.
- wael (8/5): - This hotel is rated as 4 stars. I think it is more a 3-star with some cracked tiles in the restroom and dirty spots in the carpet.
The staff was excellent and polite.
12 minutes from the airport.
- Vinit (8/5): - Good place to stay
- Ingemar (8/5): Very nice and professional service - Very nice and professional service. Room is spacious and comfortable.
- Amélie (10/5): Great stay, highly recommended - Hotel is in a great spot, 15 minutes walk to the Souq Waqif and I had an amazing stay. The staff is helpful and kind I only have good words for them !
The rooftop pool is perfect and a stunning view of the skyline and perfect for sunset. The pool area also has an air conditioned area with tables good for remote working as the wifi reaches perfectly.
- Seamus53 (10/5): Inner city gem - I arrived at this hotel at 6am after a flight from Perth Australia. I had booked 2 nights but did not expect to check in until the afternoon. I was very pleasantly surprised that I was given my room key and able to freshen up before I went out on my morning tour. Wonderful service.
- Derek (10/5): - Hotel a little older in decor. Clean sheets , clean rooms. Great service. Large large bed. Air cond awesome
- Ali (4/5): - Area very bad
- Dean (10/5): - The manager of the hotel was outstanding and very very helpfull. The staff are very friendly. Kind and go out the way to help.
The location is good and very close to all the places to see. Within 12 minutes walking distance to the metro service which covers most areas you need to go. The food is of great quality and very reasonably priced infact its the first hotel i have been in where i have not fealt the food is over priced. Great place to stay in Doha. Dont miss this one.
- Emad (8/5): عائلي وهاديء - المكان جيد ولكن الفرش يحتاج تغيير
- Ondrej (10/5): - the hotel is nice, clean, cleaned every day, the refrigerator and necessities in the bathroom are replenished, the pool and the gym are great, the staff are very helpful, they helped to find the lost luggage at the airport, called a taxi, etc. the price-performance ratio is excellent
- Derek (10/5): - The room and hotel are clean and exceeded my expectations. The front staff were very friendly and my 2 week stay was very enjoyable. The area has many ethnic restaurants and is 8-10 min walking distance from the metro. I'd stay again
- Ahmed (8/5): - I stayed for 2 nights and liked it
- Karen (8/5): - This hotel has amazing staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily but the decor /flooring looked as tho they could do with some updating. Pool area was excellent
Area round hotel feels local but safe and is well situated for walking to all main sights - paths are good as is signage if you want to get steps in.Taxis are plentiful and cheap.
A really good value option for visiting Doha
- Vitor (10/5): Lovely hotel - Lovely hotel staff was wonderful specially the manager made me feel like home.
Restaurant has nice food and the pool has nice view.
Recommended
The mosque next door calls for prayers at specific times but that's normal in the region
- Hassan (10/5): - The staff were all friendly and the room was clean and big.
- Mazen (2/5): - Its a dirty pleace
- ccM6469TX (10/5): Want to feel special over an 11-day long trip in Doha? K108 is a must! - Very attentive staff, well trained and managed by the GM Nilam. He was kind, thoughtful and went out of his way to make our bucket list World Cup experience over 11 days so special.
Our room was clean, staff throughout the hotel always helpful. This hotel was comfortably appointed and located conveniently close to all the necessary amenities.
- Expatwifehouston (8/5): Good option - We booked this hotel through the Fifa website for the World Cup. I was very apprehensive as I was not sure about the place and location. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and showers are good. AC works and is quiet. It is a 4 star so there are areas in need of update (older tiles, tired grouting, etc). The area is ok, very local, not fancy as certain areas of Doha. I actually saw no women around that particular area, we haven’t tried the hotel food so I can’t comment on that, neither we used the pool. 5 stars for the people who work at the hotel - from the porter to the front desk, everyone very friendly and keen to help. Hotel is about 5-7 minutes drive to the metro station and Uber works well. Overall it was a good 3 night stay while we were watching some of the World Cup matches. Don’t expect luxury though.
- Tour11030392902 (8/5): Best hotel in Qatar k108 - K108 hotel is amazing hotel in Qatar Specially food is delicious and Amazing greeting on arrival, duty manager explained the hotel back story - gifted land within a local family and the father wanted the sons to do good with the land. Hence a hotel that donates its profits to support disadvantaged children - that alone is a great reason to stay. Rooms are big, comfortable and very clean. Amazingly peaceful given its right in the action. Yum yum restaurant I'm very appreciate for k108 service, staff is very friendly and helpful, most important elevator is fast working and all safety for covid 19. Need and clean room and all facilities available in room. Thank you so much my wonderful stay here
Thank you chef for your delicious tasty food Allah Hafiz
- dushyants666 (10/5): Lovely stay in this hotel k108 - K108 hotel is amazing hotel in Qatar 🇶🇦

- rahulr666 (8/5): Quarantine Stay during COVID times - Good Experience - I have stayed in this hotel for 7 days as part of the mandatory quarantine instructed by Qatar Government.
The rooms were clean and spacious for 1 person. However, the bed linen and rooms were not cleaned since it was a quarantine set-up.
Food was served like in room dining but kept outside the door. It was full board.
Since this was a quarantine set-up, i couldn'r check other facilities like gym, swimming pool, etc.
Also, I haven't had much interaction with the staff other than check-ut procedure.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay.
- Leo55 (10/5): Good overnight stop - We stayed one night here inbetween flights. We arranged our airport transfers through the hotel and all went smoothly. The hotel is a little out of the centre but for our purposes it was fine. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. We ate in the restaurant, Yum Yum, and the food was very good. There was also a good view over Doha from the restaurant. The swimming pool area looked good although it was late in the evening when we were there and we didn't actually use it.
- liesenluc (8/5): Good location, good price/quality - Stayed 12 nights in K108 Hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. We arrived very early in the morning, and we were able to enter our room. What a pleasure after our night flight. They even brought us extra mineral water and toiletries. Staff at the reception is very friendly and helpfull. Our room was quiet, big enough and very, very clean. Every day, fresh towels and a replacement of toiletries, tea, coffee and free water and some free soft drinks in the minibar. Just one remark, please give an extra toiletpaper roll! It seems that this is not an habitude. Buffet breakfast is OK without being special, and without any variation. When plates are out, sometimes it takes a very long time to being replaced. And the guy serving at breakfast could be much more friendly!!! We had the feeling, he did not like his job! There is a nice and relaxing swimming pool on the roof, with a good view over the city, and a sun terrace. Bathtowels are provided. It is just a pity that the loungers had their best time and are in urgent need of replacement! Because of roadworks around the hotel, it is not pleasant for the moment to walk around. But at 50 m from the hotel stops the free shuttle to the nearest metrostation. We used that shuttle and the metro a lot! If you need a bus, there is a busstop very close to the hotel too. The bus station is also at walking distance. With paying half of the room price for a night, we could hold our room ont the day of departure, untill 22h, what was very practical concerning our dearture flight in the night. Near the hotel, their is a bakery, a small supermarket, resto's,... We can recommend the K108 hotel very much. If it wasn't for the breakfast service and the loungers at the swimming pool, I should give it 5/5.
- Sergey (10/5): - Good hotel in Doha for the money, not far from the airport. My room was very spacious and quiet. Nice view from the breakfast place on the top floor. The staff was excellent, very attentive and professional service, thank you. There is an ongoing road construction in front of the hotel, but this is not rare in Doha and will not last forever.
- NevenaG1 (10/5): Great value for money - We stayed one night in K108. It has a nice outdoor swimming pool and well equipped gym. It is easy to reach souq and Cornishe in a few minutes by cab. Breakfast was good. Great value for money for a short stay.
- MrsEssexPalin (8/5): Nice hotel - Recently stayed here for 2 nights. I'd give all of the hotel staff 5 stars, they were incredibly helpful and attentive. The hotel itself I'd give 4 stars. The reasons being the breakfast wasn't up to much. I had a small bowl of cornflakes and some toast, other than that there wasn't a lot to choose from. There were some cold vegetables and a few hot products but that was about it. Nevertheless we by no means starved but a bit more would have been nice. When we got into the room one of the lights was out and there was barely any toilet roll left with no spare available. The sink tap was also very loose. We reported the toilet roll and light and by the time we'd returned from dinner both problems had been resolved. Again cannot fault the staff for their fantastic service it's just a shame things like that weren't right from the beginning.
The hotel has a good location, 15 mins from the airport and the manager told us about a free bus that drops you at the nearest metro. The staff flagged it down for us although on the way back the driver (no connection to the hotel) was watching a film whilst driving us back to the hotel. We couldn't believe it. The metro is close but based on the above we wished we'd got an Uber back to the hotel. We'd never used Uber before but had several in Qatar and it was so easy and nice to not have to worry about money exchange.
Another nice thing about the hotel is all the profits go to charity. Such a generous thing to do and to give back to the community.
Would we stay again? Yes.
- Flyer694457 (10/5): Best Hotel - Along with my friend Azizullah Khan I stayed here in November 2019. We remained at K108 for two nights.
We found this property very clean, comfortable and beautiful.
The front dest women were very cooperative, gentle and supportive.
I would like to stay here if I found a chance in future.
- dysonsphere (10/5): Would we come back - definitely! :-) - We just spent three weeks at the K108. The first thing to know is that the service is fabulous.
Nilam who manages the whole experience is incredibly kind and considerate working tirelessly to go above and beyond expectations. However it is not just him and he can be so proud of his whole team. Rahja, Hanafy and the rest of the reception and front of house staff are genuinely lovely, and this includes the guys in front who always greeted us with a smile. Paul in the gym is a great guy, not only friendly but so helpful and knowledgable.
The rooms are generally big, clean and comfortable.
The pool is nice and at around 18m * 9m and 1.2m deep throughout is very refreshing with nice comfortable furniture.
The hotel needs a refresh for sure but is still very nice.
The location is a tricky one as it is on the edge of the old town area and there are a lot of locals there with the mosque next door (get used to the call to prayer) however they are all very respectful and the local food shop on the corner is a great place to grab essentials. There are two restaurants that will deliver to your room that are on the corner too. Ananas I would avoid. All the food is the same and their delivery is haphazard at best. Legends is amazing with great food and a wide variety and you can just give them your room number and 12 minutes later... knock, knock on your door. Great.
There is a lot of building work going on nearby with the roads. Not intrusive to the hotel but makes getting around on foot a little bit of an adventure.
Lastly be aware that at the end of the month you will get some foreign soldiers staying there on leave for the last weekend. Fabulous but they can be a bit noisy so just ask to be on a different floor. They deserve their fun but you deserve a good nights sleep.
Also get an even room as these face away from the mosque and are quieter.
In summary how would I describe the hotel? Like home!
Would we go back... absolutely!
:-)
- Bevanszz (10/5): Very nice stay - Stayed here before my flight back to LHR and it was amazing, located close to the market and the water front, the staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Will come back if I stop in Doha!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely spacious room with excellent facilities. Nice buffet breakfast each morning with fruit, hot food and pastries. Staff were very friendly and attentive and helped us to book a desert safari tour (which was fantastic!). We walked to the local metro station but the hotel also provided a free shuttle to the metro if needed, which was a bonus. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
- Ryszard (10/5): Football Trip to Watch the FIFA Club World Cup - The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable with probably the biggest bed I have ever slept in. The shower was powerful and the best I have experienced for years. Very good value for money, especially compared to places like the UK. The only downside was the distance from the nearest Metro station, which is about 1km.
- peteqatar (10/5): Oasis of calm - K108 is perfect. Amazing greeting on arrival, duty manager explained the hotel back story - gifted land within a local family and the father wanted the sons to do good with the land. Hence a hotel that donates its profits to support disadvantaged children - that alone is a great reason to stay. Rooms are big , comfortable and very clean. Amazingly peaceful given its right in the action. Yum yum restaurant was delicious and staff very good. Roof top pool and gym are the best. Paul the gym boss is a great guy. Welcoming and makes you feel at home and not intimidated if not a gym regular. Well recommended for a vacation or staycation 🙏🏻😊
- Nabster (4/5): - Nothing unique about this property, the area had heavy construction very hard to navigate to reach to the property and the rules are very disappointing of the hotel specially if you have a guest and you don’t have a proof certificate of marriage I had my girlfriend with me and I booked a room for two and they were requesting a marriage certificate to allow her to come to stay with me when I informed them I don’t have, but I booked the room fo 2, they informed me that I will loos my money if I cancel, and then I had to pay an additional fee for an extra room that I did not use in order for her to stay with me this was Extremely unacceptable and disappointing for me in the future I will never stay with this hotel even if the room was for free.
- ilovetotravel2838748 (10/5): Fantastic hotel! Can’t recommend enough! - Rare do I write reviews for hotels, but I couldn’t pass up writing a review for K108 Hotel in Doha, Qatar. The hotel staff went above and beyond in every respect, making it a home away from home for me, while I’m traveling in the region for 3 months. Breakfast was superb, rooms were spotless and well equipped, Wifi was terrific everywhere in the hotel - room, lobby, restaurant etc., the bed was very comfortable and the little extras were appreciated more than staff know. Every day, the cleaners would pay attention to what I used and left extra of what I used most - extra Nescafé and Coffee Mate packages, extra bottles of water, extra toiletries, etc. After months of traveling, the little things that staff did to make my stay more comfortable made my day. Staff at reception were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. They offered honest and cheaper alternatives for changing money, going out to eat, and getting to the airport (they called me an Uber using their hotel app!). The location is superb, a short walk to all major attractions in Doha - the Islamic Museum of Art, the Souq, major and small supermarkets, restaurants, the Pearl, the Corniche etc. Thank you so much to the friendly and attentive staff working at the hotel, and thank you to the management for making my stay so wonderful. I highly recommend K108 for your stay in Doha, and would absolutely look forward to my stay at K108 the next time I find myself in Doha! Wonderful gem of a hotel! Can’t recommend enough to future travelers!
- LXCasey (10/5): IAAF World Championships Visit - We stayed at the K108 Hotel during our visit to the IAAF World Championships. The Hotel is in the old part of the city which adds to the atmosphere. It is only 15 minutes from the Airport by Taxi of Uber. Souq Waqif is within walking distance and other main attraction such as the Museum of Islamic Art is a short Taxi ride.
The hotel is a reasonable price and our room was very comfortable. The roof terrace which has the Gym and Pool area was perfect for an early morning workout and sunning yourself in the abundance of sun rays that hits the roof.
The facilities are excellent and Wi-Fi is available ubiquitously throughout the hotel and is very good. We ate at the restaurant on arrival and it was good. But soon found cheaper eateries close by.
The staff is very helpful, courteous, professional and willing to help us with every question asked from direction to certain places to visit. Hanafy at the reception area was exceptional including, John and Bright working at the front and Paul keeping things ticking over at the Gym and the Pool area. When we were short of certain items in the room, the Hotel cleaning team was super quick to assist us and bring the items over. So a big thank you to all the staff at the hotel that made our 7days stay very memorable and we hope to stay there again when we next visit Doha.
The only issue we had was the ongoing construction road works at the large Al Ghanim Roundabout close to the hotel. Therefore, pedestrian walkways were not thoroughly considered and this made crossing the roads a tad difficult because the drivers do not like stopping for pedestrians, as well as the traffic, being very busy most of the time. Furthermore, the call for prayers at the local Mosque close by the hotel woke us up unexpectedly. That said, we got used to the chants and it was quite novel and relaxing to listen to calls for prayer.
Lastly, the staff allowed us extra time to check out, Great!!
Best wishes to all.
Casey
- LiyakatAliB (8/5): Good hotel - K 108 best hotel in Doha Qatar , this is located in heart of city , very good hotel , there staff Raja she is very nice very humble , and room service very nice , room are very nice , lobby good and beautiful , all are good
- udaipur3 (10/5): you would be mad not to stay here - I have been using K108 for 5 years. It is the very best value for money. But in spite of its excellent value and low prices there is nothing cheap about its quality, comfort and service.
The beds are huge, the rooms quiet and comfy and all facilities are excellent. the staff are amazingly helpful and courteous and it is a very short ride to anywhere including the new airport. Best of all is the restaurant. In spite of it being 'no alcohol' even I chose to eat there. the food and service are excellent. My only small criticism is there are no desks in the rooms. so instead I camp out in the restaurant and work from there. The wifi is great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice hotel and particularly friendly staff.
Would stay again for sure.
- ZinamonKveen (10/5): Very comfortable - Stayed a couple of nights while visiting Doha. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It's a city hotel so the views are of the surrounding area/buildings. Food was really good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A hotel with a big room with lots of light. They serve a pepsi and sprite free of charge. It is ok to stay for several nights. The atmosphere is not great though.
- Carl (8/5): - Unfortunately I had really noisy neighbours which is not the hotels fault. But overall good service and good value.
- Spannerseadog (8/5): Thanks - Thanks to front office manager Nilam Zainulabdeen and all staff for excellent friendly service. Nilam provided fantastic help regarding getting around Doha, sites to visit and was very helpful. My wife and I had an amazing affordable meal in the K108 restaurant ‘Yum Yum’
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved it! - The hotel was great! Decor was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Free WiFi in the lobby and room was very helpful, as we were traveling internationally and could not use cell phone data or make calls.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is very unique like being in Morocco. Very good stuff very central location, hard to get to, bit I really enjoyed my stay there
- Verified traveler (10/5): - 108K is an Overall Excellent property that fits both types of travelera, vacation or business !!!!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good location for Airport and Souq Wafid
Nothing else to say
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice hotel. Staff are excellent and helpful. Will stay again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Carpet in room Filthy, Elevator worn out, Menu items lacking, Poor workmanship (finishing) on patio in restaurant, No AMEX card reader
- Cat (6/5): A quick stop - The hotel is situated in the busy street corner - a walkable distance to the Souq.
The drive up to the hotel was fine - the check in was fine. We were asked to provide a marriage certificate as it is required by the law. The Hotel website apparently states this but as we booked through Expedia we did not see this. Luckily we had an electronic copy to forward them. We've never had any trouble checking in the past so it was a little unusual.
The room was clean, light and spacious. Bathroom was good and spacious too.
The bed was a little hard and the pillows were a bit high but it was generally okay.
We dined at the restaurant for breakfast - a small array of bread and eggs. Sufficient for quick breakfast nothing to write home about.
When we returned to the room, hoping to shower before heading out, the vent in the bathroom 'rained' completely soaking the towels and the area beneath the vent. Tried to call for maintenance, housekeeping or frontdesk but one of the buttons on the room phone connected.
We decided to leave earlier than planned.
The manager was approachable and diplomatic.
- Rocio (8/5): Very good - The hotel is nice and comfortable, the lobby is small but enchanting, rooms are spacious, tidy and neat, and cozy but the best part of staying in K108 it's the staff, very friendly and attentive. And the restaurant Yum-Yum it's a plus, food it's delicious.
- Damon (6/5): Call to prayer - Overall a good budget hotel. The surroundings, especially the mosque, can cause interruptions to sleep.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice charm and elegance. - The hotel staff were fantastic. The place had an old world class charm. My bed was so comfortable i did not want to leave. The restaurant on the 10th floor served great food and very generous portions. I wish I could of extended my stay longer to use the rooftop deck pool.
- Abhishek (10/5): Hidden Gem of a Hotel!! - Amazing stay! Really good hotel.
Staff is super friendly at all times and everyone is eager to help you out with any issues.
Breakfast is the usual far and nothing great.
Rooms are great with all the amenities you could ask for. Valet parking for your car is also a plus point!!
- jan (8/5): Nice convenient boutique hotel - Stayed one night at the hotel, very convenient from the airport, and room was big, clean and airy. K108 staff were very friendly and efficient, even calling me by my Name the whole stay. I would stay there again!
- Hussein (10/5): recommendable - great stay! Extremely friendly staff. Nice decor. quick access to city center. A bit loud if staying in the rooms facing the main street. Ask for the quieter rooms and i am sure the staff will accommodate.
- olayinka (8/5): convenient and clean. - I enjoyed my stay. Staff were very help full and quick to respond. I felt safe even though area around the hotel was a bit rough looking. I guess there is not much that can be done about that. It did limit me to my hotel early though.
- Moez (8/5): Clean hotel staff is friendly. - Its good for quick trip. Location more towards souk wakif.
- Mohamed (10/5): Excellent - Pleasant
- visitor from Sy (10/5): Excellent hotel to stay , - Stayed overnight and loved it. Everyone was well spoken and had perfect English. Nothing was too much to ask for. Will definitely stay there next time.
- Anup (10/5): - Excellent Hotel, good facilities
- Vijay (10/5): Great value for the price - The General Manager and his staff at this hotel are fantastic. They are extremely accommodating and friendly.
The hotel is clean and very well maintained. Even peripheral staff such as the dining room folks, fitness instructor were terrific. I enjoyed my visit and will definetly stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly and good staff who work there.
- Akash (6/5): Decent business hotel close to city center - Decent stay with good proximity to city center. However, having hot water regularly was an issue.
- Akash (8/5): Boutique like hotel with excellent breakfast - A very good 4-star hotel tucked away into a busy area of Doha city. The hotel interiors are very well maintained and give it a nice boutique look. The room had all the basic amenities included except hair conditioner. Staff was very courteous and always willing to help. The breakfast concept was excellent giving customers the choice to choose from a select menu of items instead of the standard buffet breakfast.
- Ioanna (10/5): Very nice experience - This was a business trip. The staff are very kind and helpful, you can feel genuine hospitality. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, a balanced mix of traditional and modern style. The restaurant has great views of the city and the menu has a good choice of dishes! Delicious food!
Relaxing and quiet atmosphere throughout the hotel. Overall very good value for the money!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel in rundown area - Can't really fault the hotel itself. Good rooms, nice pool and sun lounge on top floor, friendly and efficient staff. But it's let down by the locality unfortunately. The city council badly needs to upgrade and rejuvenate the neighbourhood. Having said that, seemed safe enough outside at night.
- Mungo (10/5): My fourth stay at K108 - Close to Souk Waqif and the superb Musheireb regeneration project with its 4 new museums. The Museum of Islamic Art is visible from the hotel. The hotel foyer is a pleasant refuge from the immediate external environment. The restaurant is excellent.
- mohammad (10/5): Beautiful stay - Good location.
Clean hotel.
Lovely staff.
Very nice restaurant.
I will do this again, for sure.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent hotel, great location of you are on a business trip.
- Christian (8/5): - Hotel shuttle picked us up on time - driver was very friendly and polite. Hotel staff were efficient and accommodating. We literally just used this as a place to sleep on a 10 hour layover from Cape Town and it was perfect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very rare in Qatar - Stuff is always very friendly, room service and customer service is perfect. Hotel's location is very good , you just need to ignore neighbourhood which's not in hotel's end eventually.
- julie (10/5): Great location with wonderful pool - The hotel was walking distance to the souk and the art museum. The food at the restaurant was very good and the roof top pool was amazing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely hotel, convenient for the airport - Convenient for the airport but it took 40 min by taxi for St Regis Doha where I had to commute during the week. Exciting city but very congested. I didn't feel comfortable walking around by myself. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. I would stay again :-)
- Sean (10/5): Great experience, all around! - I stayed at Q108 Hotel for four days. All the staff were kind, extremely helpful, and demonstrated great hospitality. Good food at Yum Yum restaurant. Rooms were clean and spacious. Enjoyable experience!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's a good hotel with excellent staff. But the facilities aren't upto the mark as there is no buffet breakfast, which is a must for business men.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great new hotel close to airport - Very new Hotel with an 4 star Service. Close to Airport, Museums and Old Town within Walking distanc Young, enthusiae..if you walk well:)) I think 30 minutes is a fair guess. Most impressive: Young, enthusiastic and super friendly and helpful team at reception..not the 5 star Training academy welcome, but natural warmth and friendliness..loved this Team.
- Oso Supremo El Supremo Magnifico Magico (8/5): Comfortable, but few amenities - A very pleasant and comfortable hotel, but with few amenities either inside or around it.
- Eddy (8/5): Nice hotel not such a good neighbourhood - The surroundings of the hotel are not that pleasant. The airport in very close so to get to the hotel take a taxi will charge you only 15 in Qatar currency instead of 50 which is what the hotel will charge you if you call for pick up. The rest is very good. Great rooms, and very clean. The overall picture for me was good.
- neil (8/5): Charming Hotel. Good for leisure break. - Hotel is of a high standard, clean and convenient. Staff are friendly; but service a little slow.
- Caroline (8/5): Convenient location - Convenient to major tourist sites. Good value. Nice room with thoughtful supplies. Efficient airport transfer.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good hotel/staff, bad neighborhood, noisy and far - The Hotel per se' is very clean and good and the people, who work ther are extremely professional, kind, helpful, and nice. But with this price, you can find a better deal in Doha. The neighborhood is really badm dirty and low class. Hotel is far from every where. Because of the near by Mosqe, it is very noisy at very very early morning and Fridays for prayers.
- Jeremy Gadbury (8/5): - Very enjoyable, bit puzzled about how to work the safe in the room, and disappointed that there was no buffet breakfast, but very good food in the nearby streets. Good location for the Souk and Islamic Museum. Would have liked to have got on a bus but you had to have a stored value ticket, we were told
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay in all - Nothing negative really. Staff tried their best to accommodate our early check in (7am, finally to room around 9am). Suite room is spacious and clean though the furniture is somewhat uncomfortable, though not the bed! Some (westerners) may find it too noisy if they are visiting for the first time due to the Mosque directly outside the entrance. Exiting/entrancing the hotel is tricky during prayers (on Friday) as people fill the street while praying.
- Buzz (10/5): Good stay in Doha - The only negative was the airport pickup didn't arrive. But the airport enquires phoned the hotel and we were picked up within 15 minutes with no charge.
- Terry (10/5): Great Hotel - When one walks into the reception area, you immediately feel the warmth and comfort. The space is quiet, colourful, and inviting. As the hotel does not have a business center, the staff helped us contact a tour company so we could arrange a drive into the desert, which we appreciated very much. Our room was very comfortable, and all the water, etc. was complimentary, which is really unusual. The restaurant food was excellent, the staff attentive. The Souq Waqif is only a few blocks away, as is the Museum of Islamic Art and the Corniche. We think the blank white panel sliding doors are a little disconcerting - especially at night. You don't recognize it immediately as a doorway.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Business / budget hotel - The hotel looks amazing and for the price you pay you get much more - the only down side is that the rooms are too noisy! Had to change my room 2 times and still was noisy
- Verified traveler (6/5): A somewhat strange hotel - The hotel is centrally located in Doha within walking distance to the Corniche, although the neighbourhood is not the cleanliest and modern. The condition and maintenance of the hotel is good and comfortable, although our room misses a chair/desk to use your laptop. Our room was spacious and clean. WiFi is free, but is sometimes slow. The reception staff was a bit overwhelmed with requests to reserve tables at other restaurants and movie tickets. Hotel restaurant is a designer luxury restaurant with small portions and higher prices, but with good food and a great view. Breakfast is not included in room rate. The breakfast you can get in the hotel restaurant is quite expensive for what you get and you need to order (and pay for) every item separately. A cheaper and better option is a coffee shop down the road.
- Faiz (10/5): Best option for the price - Very helpful staff, great condition of Hotel as its brand new. Close to the airport and the Souk, also the library and museum. If you want to be near the financial hub then this is quite far out. Hotel has a brilliant restaurant and lovely burgers! Gym is not yet complete- only downside. For muslims there is a mosque on your doorstep. There is also a little park outside if you want a stroll but it does get full with the migrant workforce of India/ Sri Lanka/ Pakistan etc on an evening, its pleasant enough but maybe intimidating for women.
For me this hotel was ideal, will be staying here again, suit was well priced. However a normal room looked good too.
