• Elin (8/5): - Servicen va sådär, hotellet var rent snyggt och stora rum men sängen va stenhård
• Verified traveler (2/5): - I knew there would be a problem when we first walked in. The man checking us in seemed confused and was acting like we were a bother. Maybe he was confused because there were no other guests. Then he brought us to our room; to say it looked unkept and outdated would be generous. The furniture was chipped, peeling and stained. I’ve noticed beds in Thailand tend to be firmer, fine, but the pillows were 6inches thick and rock hard, and there was no comforter, only a sheet. I’ve never had my arms fall asleep while sleeping on my back, until now. Moving to the bathroom: the tub was rusted, missing tiles were not replaced, and ironically there was a note about being charged for dirty towels as the one I used had a softball sized hole in the middle. It wasn’t until the next morning, after a sleepless night, that we saw the rest of the hotel in the light of day, which solidified our decision to find another hotel. The pool was dirty and mucky. Even if that interests you, you couldn’t get to it because the path to the pool was blocked by overturned pool chairs. I DO NOT recommend this place. Would not be surprised if it closed soon.

• Catarina (6/5): Surin beach 2019 - Läget var bra, hotellrummet saknade diverse möbler. Rummen var något slitna, vi hade standardrum. Städningen var ok och personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående. Frukosten var enkel men ingen större variation. Det var ok att bo där några nätter.
• Peter (6/5): Lungt - Bra hotel om man vill ta det lugnt nära till stranden och bra frukost,hårda sängar och väldigt lugna kvällar. Bra resturang på hotelet.
• Philippe (6/5): - Établissement un peu vieillissant mais la taille des chambres, salle de bain, balcon, compense. La piscine, pourtant fonctionnelle, reste déserte. Sans doute en raison de la proximité de la très belle plage de Surin, à 5 minutes à pieds. Ville calme, peu de circulation, peu d’activité nocturne, parfait pour se reposer.
• Anu (8/5): Perushyvä hotelli lähellä rantaa - Mukava hotelli lähellä rantaa. Varatessa en huomannut että hotellissa ei ole hissiä mutta onneksi lapsen rattaat sai jättää aulaan. Hieman kuluneet pinnat mutta hotelli sopi meidän tarpeisiin hyvin. Rauhallisempi katu kuin pääkatu, jonka varrella oli jonkin verran liikennettä.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Okej men inte igen - Det började med att vår bokning inte fanns i deras system men som tur var hade de ett annat rum ledigt som var helt ok! Poolen var inte i bruk men stranden ett stenkast bort och var underbar! Det var inte alls bra städat på toaletten och stora dammtussar låg och där alla 5 dagar. En död kackerlacka hittade vi en morgon också, helt ok wifi och pizzan på hotellet var superbra! Kommer inte bo här igen men helt okej för 5 nätter inte mer! Vi var ju inte på hotellet så mycket, stora rum dock det var ett plus! För 250kr per natt kanske man inte kan räkna med så mycket mer.
• Alexey (8/5): Для Сурина нормально. - Отель ветшает. Из дыры в шланге отвода конденсата из кондиционера на пол номера льётся вода, льётся она из бачка унитаза на пол санузла. Телевизор сломан. Зато завтраки вкусные и обильные. Отличное расположение - первая береговая линия. На рецепшене дают пляжные полотенца, циновки и зонтики.

• Svetlana (10/5): гораздо лучше, чем ожидалось - Отель оказался лучше, чем ожидалось. Брали номер супериор. Приличный размер, втроем нормально разместились. Дополнительная кровать была полноценной с хорошим матрацем. большой балкон. блок кондиционера стоит на балконе и от него жарковато. Зато вещи сохли с мгновенной скоростью. По фотографиям пугали красные стены. По факту, красная стена всего одна в номере и не раздражает. в нашем номере мебель стояла более удачно, чем у друзей. Ужинали и в самом отеле и за его пределами. В отеле немного дороговато, разве что пиццу брать выгодно, она большая. Бассейн чистый и почти всегда безлюдный. До пляжа очень близко через дорогу и сквер.. Вообще, расположение отличное. Рядом стоят дорогие отели. Улица нешумная. Пляж отличный. Я переживала, что меня будет раздражать отсутствие лежаков но пляже, но было очень даже комфортно. Купаться отлично и в прилив и в отлив. На пляже полноценных кафе нет, но достаточно перекусов. Сурин понравился больше чем, Бангтао в итоге. Также очень понравился пляж Папси. Попасть на него можно только через холм, справа от пляжа Сурин. На пляже 2 дорогих отеля, мало совсем людей и очень расслабляющая обстановка.
• Salvo (10/5): Perfetto - Ottimo soggiorno in ottima struttura a due passi da una delle spiagge più elle di Phuket: Hat Surin. Camera pulitissima e dotata di tutto il necessario per trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno.
• Anne (8/5): Close to the beach - The hotel is situated close to a lovely beach although the waves were high when we were there. You could get good food on the beach at a good price. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. They also have an excellent Pizza restaurant with a proper pizza oven and we had one of the best pizzas we have ever had! There is room for improvement around the pool area. The rooms were big and furnishings adequate and although we felt we had better value in other resorts we still enjoyed our stay.
• Ranjit - Muay (6/5): Cheap hotel amid area of expensive hotels - Stayed 23-Nov-2015 for 3-nights in standard room B4 - 2nd floor without breakfast. There are no lifts or porter service. The room was spacious but aircon had a green light. Bed was a thin sheet, however blankets and pillows were available from reception at night. Bathroom was tired looking with tarnished taps and mould on the grouting tiles as well as stains in the bath. Tiny safe in room with no bin or telephone. Swam in pool open till midnight. Beach, although near, was a 10-minute walk to find an access path. Restaurants/food stalls on the beach during the day. Few restaurants 10-mins walk (other side of beach). Hotel was located on a road with many expensive hotels. Taxi from town refused to collect us from hotel to our next hotel as it wasn't in his catchment area (afraid of repercussions from local taxis). You have to catch the expensive taxis by the hotel.

• Dorota (2/5): Nice staff but terrible conditions in room - Stayed just for 1 night. What i can say about the owner is the opposite what the room was like. The Italian owner helped us with arranging transport to Koh Phi Phi Don and was very nice. The room for 1st look was ok(superior) but the problems started when we came to the bathroom. The toilet was stuck:great welcoming for new visitors. 2: there were very small insects by the sink. .and also in the room above our heads when we were sleeping (by the power plug). In the morning suddenly our toilet exploded and it looked like a fountain. The whole bathroom floor was wet. One more thing: watch out on low door to the bathroom- we are above 1.80cm height and we hurt ourselves in head. The hotel needs renovation and in the same price and also 3* i definetly reccomend Surintra just 100m away.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Mycket prisvärt hotell nära stranden - Billigt och bra, får mer än vad man betalar för! Ligger brevid Hilton, bra läge. Hotellet är lite slitet men det är rent och personalen är trevlig!
• -G- (8/5): Really nice stay in Surin Beach - Originally, I planned to stay for 4 nights. I ended up staying 11 and still found it difficult to leave after that... This testifies how nice of a time I had. Lets list the plus sides of this hotel: - Location is perfect, 3 mins walk from the beach. (It's actually right next to places like the Twinpalm, Chava and DoubleTree resort. These go for about 5 times the rate of Surin Sweet) - All amenities one could need; nice pool, wifi, international tv channels, hairdryer, thee and coffee making facilities, fridge, nice bar, good breakfast, etc - Super nice staff - And all this at a very reasonable price The down sides: - It's old, and especially from the outside, this shows. Didn't bother me though. - Wifi in the room was less then reliable. Lobby/Pool area worked perfect though. - I stayed in a superior room, which has a view. Cheaper rooms look out on a wall. - No elevator. So if you have trouble climbing stairs, ask for a room on the lower floor. The staff is really nice, some nights after hours they go to a bar nearby to shoot some pool, they invite guests to come along too. A nice way to get to know each other and have fun. All in all I would definately recommend this place. It's one of the few affordable places in Surin Beach. I would love to stay again sometime. Thanks guys!

• Andrea (4/5): Cheap, clean with no much comfort - The room was very big and clean. But the hotel is very basic the bed was very very hard, air con in the room very noisy and the toilet kept flushing by itself in the middle of the night.

Men personalen informerade inte om något när vi checkade in som när frukosten serveras om det finns något att göra runtomkring eller hur man tar sig till stranden. Sängarna är alldeles stenhårda. rummet är lagom stort. sophanteringen utanför på gatan är så gott som obefintlig och lika på stranden som är jättevacker men full av sopor, borde ställas krav på rensning av sopor tidigt på morgonen på stranden och vad gäller illaluktande sopor på gatan borde man lagstifta om hanteringen med riktiga sopkärl och sortering. synd på ett så fint område med denna sanitära missär.

• Sharon Shu Yen (6/5): Budget for location only - rooms: the draw to put my small suitcase was pretty dirty on the top. Had loads of what seemed like left over crisps from previous customer and wasn't cleaned before I entered. I had to use the wet tissue they provided to do my own cleaning. Bathroom can give a little retouch as the sides were getting mouldy. My shower was very weak so showering took forever. My AC sounded like a factory was situated right next to me. It was so loud I couldn't sleep at all on the first night. The following nights I had to turn off the AC. Thankfully it wasn't too hot. What was upsetting the owner knew it was loud but didn't do anything about it. Location was fantastic! Very close to Surin beach. The walking distant was the same as other 5* hotels. There's a great massage parlour just up the road too. Breakfast - this was the most basic I've ever come acrosS in Thailand. Luckily the owner freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon for me everyday. The square sliced bread and fruits (3 choices each day) were very fresh and sweet too. Wifi was pretty strong and stable which was a plus. If I was on a tight-ish budget I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location with the beach & beach front dining a short walk over the road & being able to use the pool was also a good option. Room was even better than it looked in the photos - very large, clean, airy & well presented.

• Bob (8/5): Fantastic value, very clean - The staff was helpful, the hotel very clean, and the oversize room was comfortable and had good air conditioning. We did not use the pool or eat at the restaurant, but they were available and looked good.
• Misty (10/5): Doesn't get any better! - We LOVE this hotel! We booked it originally for 7 nights and then we had some issues with our travel plans and ended up staying more than two weeks. The owners were fabulous! Since we were some what stuck they worked with us and made our stay even better. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. The internet worked fantastic and was super fast in our room, in the lobby, and even at the pool. As for the location of the hotel, for us, it could not have been better. It is within walking distance of a couple of convenience stores, a small Tesco Lotus, several restaurants (plus, the hotel has an amazing onsite Italian restaurant), some fantastic food cart vendors, and Surin Beach, which is gorgeous! Next time we are in Surin, this will be our first and only choice for a hotel!

• M (8/5): Nice enough - Rooms were large. Bathrooms could use a remodel. Pool was very nice and open 24 hours. Italian restaurant was delicious and service was wonderful. The internet was out for many days which was annoying. When it was working, it was only available in the lobby.

• Leif Kristensen (2/5): Terrible Hotel - Terrible hotel. Did not get the room which we had booked and paid for. Broken pipes in bathroom = water all over the floor. Filthy and dirty room. No view as promised. No flat screen tv or movie channels as advertised. Bugs on the floor AND in our bed. Do not book this hotel, if you are looking for just a minimum of pleasure. Ohhh I forgot to mention - breakfast - I would not serve this for my dogs! We had booking for 3 nights but left this morning!!!
• Darf (8/5): Good place to stay - Stayed here with friends for a few days over Christmas. Short walk to the beach with a nice pool downstairs. Very clean throughout and staff are friendly and helpful. Same breakfast buffet every day with only a few options so on day 6 we wanted something else! Close to bars and an easy walk to restaurants in the area but I would highly recommend the italian restaurant downstairs ... The pizzas are amazing! Expect authentic italian food there not your British or American versions.
• Justin (8/5): average hotel, good price, great location - Pretty all around average place. I'm saying this in a good way. I was looking for a Holiday Inn Express type hotel. Overall the rooms are larger, quality a little less. The service was slightly above average. The beach was amazing here. This is definitely the well-to-do part of thailand. Service is amazing here, and prices are equivalent to the U.S which is very high for Thailand.

• Rajkamal (10/5): Great hotel and value! - This is a superb hotel for the money. The check in staff was very friendly. One staff member offered to take our luggage up 3 flights. If there is one issue at all, it is that this hotel has no elevators. We were surprised to see the huge size of the room when we opened the door. The room had a fairly large balcony with a view of the hotel pool, and beyond the trees, we could see the sea. The pool was immaculately clean. The bathroom was huge - and like the rest of the room and the hotel, extremely neat and dry. The common foyer area downstairs is also well kept and tidy with lots of chairs, sofas and tables. Free WiFi works only in the lobby area. The staff offered to safe-keep our passports in the lobby safe. One negative about the hotel could also be a distinct positive - depending upon your point of view: its location. The hotel is far away from everything - the airport, the long distance bus station and Phuket town. Ground transportation in Phuket is expensive - a ride to these places will set you back 700 - 1,000 Baht one way! A reasonable alternative is to take a Tuk-Tuk from the stand down the road but these guys too like to gouge you. Once, we took a public bus (the kind which is open in the back) to go to town for 40 Baht per person. There are plenty of beach restaurants within walking distance (3-5 minutes); a grocery store next door (prices here are double what you pay at a Mini Mart about two miles away) and a car rental place next to it.

• Karen (10/5): Fantastic well priced hotel - I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The Hotel is run by a charming Italian couple who put themselves out to accommodate the customers needs. You couldnt find a better place to stay. The rooms where cleaned daily, with fresh bed linen and towels, beach towels were provided on request. The room was very spacious and had large balcony. Located just a stones throw from Surin beach through a garden of palm trees. You couldn't find better especially at the price. Staying at this hotel made my holiday memorable.
