The breakfast and other dining options were very good and offered a good mix of western & Asian cuisine. The pool has been decent and large. The gym has been ok. The location is good and in decent walking distance to further restaurants and shops and obviously the beach.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for my entire stay. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and a serene atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Yuliasari. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for guests truly made a difference. Whether it was special requests for my partners birthday, a stunning bouquet of flowers delivered to our room, a collage of photos on our mirror or ensuring I had everything I needed, Yuliasari’s dedication was evident. The facilities were top-notch, with a fantastic pool area, swim up bar and delicious dining options that catered to every palate. The overall ambiance of the hotel created a relaxing oasis where I could unwind and enjoy my vacation. I cannot thank Yuliasari and the entire team at The Stones enough for making my stay so special. We had a conversation with Yuli who is a customer experience officer and she was wonderful. She asked for our feedback the second day at the buffet breakfast and we asked if we could have more water and toilet paper in our room and that was no issue for her to organise. We received extra paper and water in our room the next day. The only criticism i do have about the hotel is that if you pay cash at the pool bar you are hounded to pay straight away instead of at least waiting for us to finish our first drink. It was a bit frustrating as they had our room number. A suggestion that would be great would be to have an air conditioned area that has a couple pool tables and a nice bar as it is very hot playing pool in the area the pool table is currently located. People would probably stay around the hotel grounds a lot more as there isnt much to do at the hotel once the pool closes. Overall the hotel is worth staying at.

Nothing was too much trouble and we were offered alternatives to what was on the buffet. We would definitely stay at The Stones again.

The breakfast buffet is amazing and again the staff are very very welcoming. This is the best hotel we have stayed at yet. We highly recommend this hotel, the pool is great for kids, the breakfast is amazing and the staff are just fabulous.

Beds are super comfortable and the cleanliness is second to none. The pool is one of the best in the area with lots of sun lounges available and a very long happy hour. Unfortunately there was an international conference on during my recent stay with patrons who were very inconsiderate of other guests. Obviously not the hotel’s fault, but just something to be aware of.

- jason (8/5): - We stayed at the stones hotel for six nights in August 2024. Check in was very smooth with John being very helpful at the front counter. The pool area was clean and very large but they never seem to be enough pool chairs to go around for all the guests staying at the hotel. We found out that people are not staying at the hotel could pay money to come and The pool for the day. Perhaps this contributed to the crowding. The room was well appointed but looked a little bit tired around the bathroom areas. There was mould in the shower when we arrived but the cleaners came straight away and sort it out that proper. The daily breakfast is good with my wife being gluten-free. She really appreciated the chef and service staff giving in accurate information and making sure that she was looked After. The downside is that the hotel is located quite a distance from the road and it added another 150 m to the walk back to the hotel once you arrived at the entry. This wasn’t a reason to not stay at the hotel. It became a little bit annoying and frustrating later in the trip especially I’m very hot days. We asked the front counter about a late checkout the day before at departure date. Yoga was very helpful and was able to provide a 2 pm checkout instead of 12 noon and no additional cost. Overall I would say the service of the staff is great and they could regularly check in with you to make sure everything was okay and you had what you needed.

It starts at the check in process and is laced through every interaction with service staff. It got to the point we avoided dealing with staff and opted to eat and drink off site to avoid the constant upsell.

- Ritchie (8/5): Great value for money! - Location, facilities, accommodation all on point! Central to both Kuta mall & Seminyak, both approx 20km walks. Plenty of shops & restaurants all around. Right across from the beach, large size pool with a day club feel, plenty of food & drink specials, great pool view & feel if you get a balcony, plus it's away from the main road, so no noise, nice & quiet. Only issue with service is that the attendants seem to disappear, so had to go up to the bar myself a few times. Language barriers with some convo's, but overall great place & friendly people, definitely recommend & would go back again :)

The rooms that face inward the magnificent pool with tub in the balcony are worth the upgrade.
