- Kateryna (10/5): - Привітний персонал, чисті номери і територія. Смачна та різноманітна іжа. Різноманітний вибір барів, перекусів та фаст фудів що входять до пакету все включено Невідповідна кількість відвідувачів до басейнів. Забагато людей, які з ночі займають місця біля басейну, розкладаючи речі або рушники. Пляж у пішій доступності із вартістю 25€ за 1 шезлонг, пляж дуже маленький. Відсутність набережної або пішохідних зон для прогулянок, забагато транспорту, небезпечно навіть на пішохідних переходах.
- Beverley Ann (8/5): - It was perfect spot located near the beach and shops but not in the thick of it either so you could retreat away from the lively atmosphere when needed. Requested a sea view which we got however, felt uncomfortable using the balcony as the restaurant is below. The food was lovely with plenty of choice. The staff were mostly friendly. Only drawback for us was that despite being a paid customer, we felt the service could’ve been better with regards to the drinks. It seemed customers from the street got better treatment. It would e also have been nice is shower gel, shampoo etc was available. Only hand soap as the option. We would still come back though as it is set within a beautiful location.

- Crina (1/5): DEZAMAGIRE! - - Disappointing!! I had a reservation for 2 rooms (1 bedroom suite). I arrived at the hotel around 1 am. At the reception a girl who didn't know English at all. I spent half an hour writing to us on the phone with a translation of what she wanted to communicate to us. We received the rooms. Shock! It didn't correspond to what I had booked. (I mention from the beginning that I chose this hotel for this room with a sea view). I go back to the reception to explain, in vain, the answer was to come the next day at 11 am to discuss. Night of torment! Lots of mosquitoes, bathroom with a bathtub that you could barely get into.. The next day they tell me that that's the room, that those pictures of the room are from Booking and they keep showing me their website. I tell them that I made the appointment on Booking, not on their website and that I want those rooms. In the meantime, 2 other suites become available and they move us there. More disaster. Later I found out that others who couldn't rest because of the infernal noise in the rooms had given up on them. Not to mention the fact that the toilet bowl didn't flush, that the air conditioning was from another era and couldn't cope, that a light cleaning was only done on one day. The food?? The same every day, with minor exceptions. To drink an ok coffee we had to buy it ourselves. If you didn't wake up in the morning to occupy sunbeds, you had to pay 25 euros/sunbed on their tiny beach, or look for other more accessible beaches. There's a lot to say, the conclusion.. total disappointment for the costs they charge.

- Racha (9/5): Superb - The location of the hotel is perfect. The place was very clean. They cleaned the room and changed the towels daily. There is a good variety of food in the buffet. The food was good. You can take a drink at the hotel or at the bar or even the restaurant in front of the hotel, all included. The staff is very friendly, always there to listen, especially at the reception. The sandy beach was awesome. The deck chairs at the beach were expensive There are 4 swimming pools, small in size if you don't swim in the sea. The deck chairs were free but taken from early morning ( even when people are not using them all day)

- Sayan (4/5): I didn’t like staying here and won’t return again - The room had a nice sea view. The location is quite happening if you like it that way. Not very difficult to reach from the Herakleon airport, particularly if you have a rental car. Reception desk provided incomplete information about ala-carte dining @ black pepper restaurant that caused some inconvenience to us. Air conditioning did not work in one room & hence our kid had to squeeze in in one bed with us. No fan was provided despite our request. Bathrooms was too small & without regular toiletries. Customer Service manager was strange. She was blank faced & casual not showing any concern or regret from her end. The hotel draws guest with “all inclusive deal” which is not that great as it sounds. There is enough food but the taste is not good except for the fresh salads and yogurt. The drinks are also just okay served in plastic cups. You need to pay 15€ to sit on the shacks by the small beach that is supposedly under the supervision of the hotel.

Le bar de l'hôtel en version tout inclus est splendide (king scorpio bar). La restaurant principale du complexe est excellente et variée (de tout : des spécialités locales aux basics). - Jacob (9/5): When I think of our vacation on Crete I only have wonderful memories :) - I enjoyed the breakfast, lunches and dinners. Food was always available with minimal wait time. Fresh fruits, salads, eggs, pancakes, I was super happy starting the day right. Lots of fish, chicken, beef and vegetarian options. We came for a family reunion and had an unforgettable stay. The staff especially at the reception desk were super friendly and helpful. The all inclusive food and beverage was great for us travelling with small kids and the need for occasional beers/cocktails. The area felt super safe, family friendly, and relaxing, right on the coast. Would highly recommend Porto Greco to anyone who asks! The food signs could be a little clearer especially with products that might have beef mixed with pork, the people taking the plates were a little too fast at times, the coffee machine could use an upgrade with fresh coffee/milk quality. Mosquitos were a bit annoying, be prepared with bug spray and don't leave your door open too long. Some of the rooms are a bit close to the nightclub so make sure that you request in advance a room that is quiet at night.

The restaurant has a relaxing sea view, and if you are hungry or thirsty you will always get free food and drinks in different bars or restaurants of the hotel at any time of the day with the amazing all-inclusive formula without getting stressed out on your holidays! and most of all..the KINDNESS OF THE STAFF. They are so sweet and polite, they look after you in every moment of the day!I am pregnant and the staff (Maria in particular, the manager) and also other 2 lovely girls (Eleni and Olga) they were just AMAZING, taking very special care of me. We will definitely come back every year for our holidays to this amazing hotel!! Thank you to all the staff of Porto Greco Village to make our holidays just FANTASTIC!!

- Terry (8/5): Nice place overall - Great patio overlooking the water at King Scorpio.That was where the four star rating should end and was also a real problem for noise it created going past 2am while right next door.Food was good although monotonous.Would have appreciated pita bread.Snack bar was mislabeled as a different name.Also served third grade meat in the gyros with plenty of fat and no vegetables.(a real shame for greek pride).All the other non greek foods were good however atbthis snack bar.

Was wir vorfanden war eine Frechheit. 1. Ganze Suite magelhaft gereinigt, kein Telefon 2. Wohnzimmer-Küche: Stühle fehlten kein Mineralwasser (wie beschrieben) Fernbedienung (Klima-Anl.) Wohnzi.-Küche defekt 3. Terrasse: Türen zur Terrasse defekt (n.schliessbar) Mückennetz defekt, Liegematten fehlten Terrasse unsauber 4. 1. Schlafzimmer: Matraze durchgelegen, sehr hohe Kopfkissen, kein gutes schlafen TV beim drehen fast herunter gekommen (Halterung defekt) kein Kleider-Schrank, Zimmer mangelhaft gereinigt 5. 2. Schlafzimmer: 1 Nachttischlampe ohne Kippschalter d.h. Stecker direkt in die Steckdose Zimmer dreckig auch unter dem Bett etc. Ameisen z.teil auch auf dem Bett 6. Badezimmer: Spartanisch eingerichtet für eine Suite (4 Personen) keine Hand-Badetücherstangen oder Ständer, weder im Bad noch sonst wo. 7. Reinigung der Suite Mal wurde gereinigt dann wieder nicht, bis man über das Natel in das Hotel anrief und fragte wo die Reinigung bleibt. Katastrophal !!! Essen: nicht rühmenswert! Was auf auf der Homepage beschrieben wird ist alles andere als wahr! Sanierung im 2019? Möchte die zukünftigen Reisenden einfach warnen. Bewertung dieses Hotel, höchstens eine 2. Rühmenswert war nur die Terrasse mit der Aussicht..

Purtroppo, la pulizia delle camere è carente: nel soggiorno per una settimana è successo ben tre volte che la camera non venisse pulita e gli asciugamani sostituiti, nonostante la sollecitazione in reception. - Vladimir (9/5): Perfect stay on the beach - The food was amazing with lot of varieties and each meal was very delicious. Literally all hotel staff (at the reception, in restaurant, cleaning staff, massager...) are very professional and diligent, but also always friendly and helpful. Location is perfect as it is just accross the road to the nice beach and on the quiet side of the Hersonissos sea promenade. Hotel has a couple of drink bars and pools, but if your room is next to one of them, might be loud. We were lucky with the quiet backyard room which was renovated and had everything we needed. As a part of the package, we have got a 15 minutes massage by Ms. Katerina who was super kind and skilled. Some facilities are in the state which is unfortunately far below the level of the rest of the hotel and require urgent improvements: fitness gym is almost useless as most of the machines are broken, one squash pad is broken so cannot play it, basketball ring is bended, common toilets have broken soap dispensers for days, etc. This is a big pity as if those things would be fixed, I would give a clear mark 10. Considering the price of the all inclusive package, the beach beds should be included and not heavily overpriced.

I also asked for a plug to have a bath but didn't get one. A walk in shower would be better and safer. There is a very dangerous slippery slope/ramp between the pool bar area and the restaurant.

- Julian (9/5): Exceptional customer service over and above expectations - This hotel exceeded our expectation because they clearly went out of their way to provide exceptional customer service to my young family. They met all our special requests for the room ahead of our visit, they regularly checked in with us to see if there was anything more they could do and they went over and above expectations when it came to providing special meals for our eight month old baby. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it really made for an unforgettable stay. There weren't as many sun loungers around the swimming pool as we might have liked, so it wasn't always possible to get one. However, the beach is a very short walk away, so we went there instead.

- Anna (8/5): Great value for money - Perfectly located in a busy seaside resort close to the Herakleion airport (20 min taxi ride). Right at the seafront with two small but beautiful sandy beaches (sunbeds are 15 EUR per day - if this was included for the hotel guests, the stay would have been flawless). We had the basic room, but it was quiet, quite spacious and renovated, with a big balcony. A big plus was a fridge in the room. Food was great! Such a wide choice - every lunch and dinner - beef, pork, poultry, fish, bbq, at least 3 sides, lots of veggies (you could make your own Greek salad), fruit, desserts, Cretan specialities (dakos, raki, ouzo, baklava, Greek coffee). Live cooking at breakfast - pancakes, eggs etc. Non alcoholic drinks were a bit too sweet, but good beer and wide choice of cocktails, frappe included in the all inclusive programme. Staff members mostly very nice, some of them had a bit of a trouble understanding English. Once per stay the option of a dinner at the Orion a la carte restaurant with a pre-set menu (you only choose between fish, meat or veggie version) - very good and a great view. Overall, a very good choice for our holidays, it is not a luxurious resort for a demanding clientelle, but when you know what to expect you will not be disappointed. Tiny shower and the curtain very unpleasantly sticking to your body. Beach sunbeds not being complimentary for hotel guests.

- Quentin (3/5): If you’re above 20yo and not a family, don’t go there - Room was clean, included AC, relatively calm, and the staff of the hotel was globally nice, location is good for the city Restaurant on the photo is actually not the restaurant of the hotel, sun beds actually do not belong to the hotel and you have to pay for them (from 10€ to 30€ per day per person), beaches are not private, there is a lot of choice for food but quality was very bad, there was no window for the shower so don’t expect to keep the bathroom clean, swimming pools are small with too much chlorine, some members of the staff do not speak English, the woman at the bar is just not made for this job (wrong orders, no smile, very very slow, don’t speak english)

They used pictures of when they probably opened 50 years ago. this is nothing like we expected. this is a many buildings split up in the village. mainly young party people with a bar at the corner. this is really noisy. only one pool is used, one was dirty and the other were having umbrellas left on the floor. the rooms are really old and this is northing like a normal all-inclusive resort. nothing is nice or fancy about this place. it is too bad that the pictures and Information are made to trick people (probably a lot of negative reviews deleted). the food was good and with the right advertising, the clients would know what to expect and could enjoy their holidays. the poor staff also wouldn’t have to deal with a line up of screaming and upset customers. the management should really do their job instead of just wanting to cash the money.

Sun beds are anywayfor extra charge (30 EUR per day for two sun beds, a small table and an umbrella) - Nice staff - The all inclusive bar near the beach was opened till 23:30 - Food is ok (but surely not exceptional) - Bad coffee. The real espresso coffee is for extra charge - Rooms are surely not 4 stars - You may not get the room you see in the pics. There are different buildings, some are OK while some others are quite bad - They have gym area, but almost all the machines were broken there - Almost all beverages from “all inclusive” are rubbish (wine, beer, juices, coffee)

Good dining choices in an all-inclusive buffet. Very friendly staff: special thanks to hostess Anna who recommended and booked awesome bus excursions for us, told interesting things about Crete, showed us around, explained what’s what, and generally made us feel very welcome. Elena at reception was also excellent, went out of her way to accommodate a few needs that came up and did it with sincerity! Thank you ladies, you made it great, would definitely come to Porto Greco Village! One suggestion for management is to have water/tea/coffee in the lobby 24/7, which we like wherever we stay, something to consider. Just a thought. Cheers!

- Dzheiran (8/5): - Die Lage von Porto Greco Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und zentral. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit Meerblick und demnach eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Meiner Meinung nach sind Räume ohne Meerblick bzw. mit Sicht auf andere Gebäude nicht für Geniesser geeignet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Sauberkeit lässt definitiv zu wünschen übrig. Leider konnten wir das Essen und die Drinks (All Inclusive) nicht geniessen und haben so fast täglich auswärts gespeist. Direkt nebenan befindet sich das King Scorpio, das Beach Bar Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in Allem war die Unterkunft gut, die Fotos entsprechen jedoch nicht ganz der Realität.

La camera vista mare è davvero carina a e livello di pulizia devo dire che non abbiamo trovato sporco e ogni giorno passavano a cambiare le lenzuola e asciugamani Le spiaggie sono abbastanza carine ma a 10 minuti di macchina si possono trovare posti stupendi . Per quanto riguarda lo staff, le cameriere e camerieri sono davvero tutti molto carini mentre per la reception sono tutti abbastanza disponibili e cordiali come ad esempio Antonio mentre non ci siamo trovati bene con una sola receptionist che dovrebbe forse sorridere di più e capire la clientela senza dare informazioni errate. Unica pecca è la sicurezza , nel periodo in cui siamo stati noi sotto avevamo una specie di rave party in strada ma era possibile per tutti entrare e raggiungere le stanze, c’era un signore che controllava ma c’era talmente tanta gente che era impossibile per lui controllare tutto . Per il cibo , devo dire che mi aspettavo molto peggio dalle recensioni che avevo letto , non è dei migliori ma comunque c’è sempre qualcosa di mangiabile soprattutto la carne e le patatine cotte al momento.

- Verified traveler (2/5): SAVE YOUR MONEY - 2 pool areas in need of total refurb will pools the size of a postage stamp. COVID is being used in this hotel as an excuse to do absolutely nothing. No room cleaning unless requested the day before. No towels unless requested. Buffet consists of long queues, no drinks machines, nobody walking around to get drinks. No atmosphere. The only coffee available was on the other side of the road in a small area with another long queue. Whilst the room we had was quite nice, the tv has 1 English speaking channel which was CNN. DEFINATELY not a 4*. Probably not even a 3*. Please don’t be sucked in by the clever photography. All inclusive drinks consisted of the cheapest brandy possible. Ouzo. The worst wine you have ever tasted. Beer. And the cheapest of cheap cola - lemonade. They had no taste whatsoever. They don’t even check you in. You have to do this yourself. We ate out 2 of the 5 days we were there and took our own drinks into the bar because they were that bad. The bar that you can use - looks incredible BUT the staff don’t want to know. They growl at you. They Don’t want the all inclusive there and it shows. They are wanting to get maximum profit by doing the absolute minimum. You even have to pay to get the pool towels washed. We were counting down the days until we were leaving. The food was poor and always cold. Apart from the melon !! That was warm !! Don’t waste your hard earned cash. Go anywhere else or stay at home. You will thank us later.
