Guest Reviews
- Pat (10/5): - Awesome views, listening to the ocean
- Sandra (2/5): - I had no idea that the Resort wasn’t a resort anymore. All it is , its rooms being rented out, nothing else. The best part about the whole place is the little Store, and the amazing owner Keith.
The Pool is for decorations only. Our room equaled a Sauna with no A/C. All windows were shut when we arrived.
- Bruce Yale (8/5): - Just peaceful, wonderful people on Molokai. Beautiful place. Mahalo
- Zachary (10/5): - A nice little room with a view of the Pacific from your private porch. Really cool place to stay, out on the West side of Molokai. You’re maybe 20-30 minutes from town where all the action is, and getting around the island is incredibly easy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The beaches are beautiful and resorts gardens are lovely but when we arrived we didn’t know that the resort was connected to the Sheraton resort which we heard went bankrupt. A number of the buildings around us are falling apart. It freaked us out on arrival. We hadn’t received our code to apartment from the third party accommodation company and had to ring. The apartment was old, dusty and l feel needed a very good clean. I wanted to leave but decided that complaining about it to Expedia and third party would only takeaway from the idea of a stress free holiday to reboot. I think Expedia has a responsibility to ensure more information is provided and the situation of the resort. If there was more accommodation options on the island we would have left!!
- Rolf (6/5): Mixed bag. - the unit itself was nice, clean, quiet, and a beautiful ocean view. It is a private residence in a troubled complex - no main check-in (you need to call property manager ahead of time which is on page two of Expedia's confirmation that I missed (to get bldg. and unit number and code to key pad ahead of time) the property has a hotel section that is defunct and falling apart, which unfortunately is what you see first from the road. The grounds around the unit and pool were well kept, but the hotel section and main general buildings are closed and falling apart. It took me a couple of hours and some help from a great residence to figure out how to get into the unit. The stay afterwards was very pleasant. Bring food from town as your are on the remote eastern end of Molokai.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quite peaceful - Quite and peaceful , close to great beach’s, check out time at 10:00 was a bit early,
- mike (8/5): nice condo rental near beach - we booked a loft, but it wasn't available when we arrived so we got a ground floor room. Facilities nice but I wish they were closer to beach. It was great to prepare own meals; make sure you get some groceries in town beforehand. very quiet and peaceful. Easy walks to beaches and kiwi forests (part of abandoned golf course.
- Austin K. (2/5): Extremely Disappointed - I was extremely disappointed to have booked this property. I did not mind shelling out a few extra dollars for this rental compared to other available options. Based on the pictures online, this looked like a great place. However, the property contained cockroaches (dead and alive) and candy wrappers on the floor. The owner was rude when I made contact about this. I would not book this property again. The only positive is the location since it's next to the beach.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Depressing - Room old.Fridge rusting.Patches on wall not painted. No extra blankets. No AC or heater.Fairly close to beach, but half of units closed up and rotting.Expected more for what we paid..
- Sharon (6/5): - I didn't rate staff as there wasn't any. Beautiful view, lots of information and nice extras like spices and oil for cooking. The chairs are very uncomfortable and all you have to use for tv watching
- Nick C (8/5): Great room! - We had a great time. Room was exactly as it was pictured. Would stay again. Everything we needed was in the room. The only drawback to the room is there is no air conditioning, but hey if your going to Molokai that's all part of the experience!
- Matt (2/5): bug infested - Dirty condo , lots of bugs , was itching so much from being bitten , could not sleep at all. Had to cover myself from head to feet with a towel . Nice staff , nice beach and swimming pool, but place is totally run down. We called Molokai property's and got switched to a nicer resort . Maybe it was just our unit, there were a lot of people there that we meet that bought a place there and loved it
- Ryan (6/5): Great location. Very peaceful - Wish the entire resort was maintained. I'm sure the golf course was spectacular when it was operational.
- Jean (8/5): perfect location for a peaceful getaway - located at the far end of the island, very picturesque and peaceful. If you love nature, serenity and the sound of the surf, then this is the place for you. Long beaches, fabulous sunsets. All services are available in town. There is a very small resort shop on site but bring what you need from town. The store in Monaloa is the closest and carries a good selection. The Cookhouse, mid island, is a great little restaurant and we discovered it was easier and cheaper to eat out! As everything is barged to the island, groceries are expensive!! The Bakery in town is well worth checking out - small coffee shop serves good food. Try the french toast with coconut syrup! bliss!! Many stores are closed Tuesdays. Gas is only available in town. I will go back to this property - it gave me just what I was there for :)
- Justine (8/5): Best value, great views and location - Great views and beach. If you're looking for the Four Seasons this isn't it but it's a nice, albeit a bit rundown place to stay. We live on the Big Island and this is where we stay whenever we visit Molokai. Limited choices on Molokai but the island itself is awesome. If you want something more updated, stay at Ke Nani Kai which is more modern and right across the street. But the views are better here and Kepuhi Resort is closer to the beach. Just don't expect any service of any kind- you're pretty much on your own once you arrive.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Discouraged by the quality - Initially we couldnot get in, because of the double booking. Such was not informed beforehand. There was no body, at site, to take care of check-in etc. The office which is managing neightboring condominiums was kind enough to called up several places, and found for us a temporary unit. Arter moving to initially reserved unit it was not comfortable for toilet water kept leaking, light bulb is burnt out,no curtain at the window etc. It was awful for the price.
- Rick (4/5): Great Beach our fav - We stayed four nights did not see housekeeping , we love the location the beach was great! But for 200.00 per night it needs a lot of improvement
- Edwardo (6/5): Close to the Beach - The resort is a little run down....like half of the buildings boarded up, but you have everything you need, stove, bed, hot water. Location is just absolutely beautiful, epic ocean, no one on the beach, very simple.
