Guest Reviews
- Alison Witte (10/5): - The staff were really friendly. The room was clean. Nothing
- Alex (10/5): Great family stay - Location and nice and quiet.
Walking distance to lots of nice places to eat.
Swimming pool.
- Timothy (9/5): - Great staff and facilities. Thanks for the hand written welcome card.
- William (9/5): Deeply relaxing and stress free. - Lovely gardens and pool. Air conditioning was strong. Bathroom was clean and water was strong and hot. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
- Kwang (10/5): Home Away from Home !! -
- Karl (9/5): Welcoming, professional and kind. - The staff at reception were super helpful and kind with our kids. They also went above expected duties to help us. Special mention to Vanna. He helped me book a van to travel to Siem Reap. Even though we had then departed Skyline, he continued to help book the van for us a number of times for our repeated travels (the other places we stayed at didn't offer that service). The room was also large and comfortable for a family of four.
- saayt2022 (10/5): Perfect Choice for Business Trips - Great central location with attentive staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast. The fast internet is perfect for business travelers like me. Highly recommend!

- Kwang (10/5): Home away from Home ! - Great location and awesome staff !

- David (10/5): Nice place to stay the staff were friendly and helpful. - Very convenient for local restaurants and bars, yet still in a quiet location. Nothing really.

- Kwang (9/5): From a critic's perch: flawless execution across the board, 10/10 for operations and hospitality. - Skyline Boutique Hotel: My Fourth Surrender to Phnom Penh Perfection – 5 Stars, No Contest!
As a road warrior whose office is literally next door, this marks my fourth pilgrimage to Skyline Boutique Hotel – proof that familiarity breeds not contempt, but an addiction to efficiency. Jet-lagged from a marathon flight that felt like it spanned continents (and time zones), I staggered in late, expecting the usual check-in gauntlet. Instead, Rosie turned it into a symphony of speed: a warm smile, zero paperwork pandemonium, swift key handover, and a seamless digital upgrade that had me in my room faster than you can say "room service." It's like she has a sixth sense for crumpled travellers, pure efficiency magic!
Spotting familiar faces like Sita and Karoline was the cherry on top, transforming my "welcome back stay" into a heartfelt reunion with pros who remember your quirks. These two dynamos looked after me every day with such polished professionalism, anticipating my early-morning breakfast blitz and handling every request like it was their personal mission. Sita, in particular, whipped up a microwave for my room in a jiffy when I needed it, no fuss, no delay, she's a logistical wizard wrapped in genuine warmth. Karoline's eagle-eyed care ensured nothing slipped through the cracks, making me feel like VIP royalty rather than a repeat renter.
And what would we do without the housekeeping team? They're the unsung cogs in this well-oiled machine, keeping the balance between plush, comfortable nights and those essential top-ups of in-house liquids to combat Phnom Penh's soul-sucking 35-degree scorcher days. Spotless rooms, crisp linens, and that effortless refresh … heroes, every one!

The well-equipped gym and the second pool on the 9th floor at the Skyline Apartments? Game-changers with magnificent, panoramic views of central Phnom Penh, sweating out the flight funk while overlooking the city's heartbeat is pure bliss.
This trip? Hands down my best yet, thanks to the unmatched ratings of service, staff, and savvy efficiency that elevate Skyline from "great hotel" to "lifesaver for locals like me." From a critic's perch: flawless execution across the board, 10/10 for operations, hospitality, and that rare "home away from office" vibe. As a regular guest, I'm already plotting stay #5. Gratitude overload, book it, you won't regret it!

- Peter (10/5): Extremely wonderful place to stay in Phnom Penh. - Very friendly staff, offering assistance to my transport needs, made living with them a wonderful experience. clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast. No noisey traffic and a very relaxing courtyard made staying here a real pleasure.
To me, is the place to stay in Phnom Penh.
- ANTHONY (6/5): Well located hotel, with nice team, but hotel globally "aging" - Hotel is very well located, in the city center, close from bars and restaurants. A la carte Breakfast is good, but quantity is really too limited (just few piece of fruit, and no fresh fruit juice). Room condition is quite good, but equipment really very old, and an issue due to lack of insonorisation (noise of road/cars) just in front
- Paul (10/5): Perfect hotel in an ideal location! - Had a fabulous week at this hotel staying in a deluxe balcony (patio) room (302 with access straight out into gardens and pool).
Room was really large with a king sized bed, good aircon and WIFI , excellent bathroom with instant hot water and a shower that didn't leak into the room!
Plenty of fresh towels and lots of bottled water provided every day. Large separate kitchen with everything you would need to cook if you tired of the numerous fantastic restaurants and bars close to the hotel !
The pool was bigger than average and spotlessly clean every day.
Good choice of options for breakfast in a really beautiful setting amongst the gardens.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Location was perfect, just a couple of minutes walk to Bassac street and a short 10 minutes Tuk Tuk from all the major sites in the city.
Thanks for a great stay! nothing
- Nicola (10/5): Lovely hideaway - Location was perfect, a pool to relax in, good breakfast and Rose on reception was exceptional. Nothing was too much. Would definitely return.
- Jamie (10/5): Perfect for large group. - It was great for my family of 7. Had the apartment room. Had a clothes washer. It was perfect. Breakfast was awesome as well. Made to order! Staff was amazing.
- Geoff (8/5): -
- Kevin (5/5): - Location There are better places in this price category
- Amy (8/5): Nice smaller hotel with choices for food and drink - The pool and food area were really nice. The staff were friendly. The location was good. The staff gave us some takeaway breakfast as we left early. They serve you by the pool. Lots of variety for drinks. There was alot of noise, our room didn't lock with the key so only bolted from the inside. We booked for a balcony, were upgraded which was lovely but lost the balcony for extra beds.
- Bunkimtia (10/5): Hotel staff is very accommodating for my group of 7, also friendly to my local family when they came to visit. The gym - They are very accommodating and very friendly.
- Hannah (1/5): Better elsewhere. - Just basic. Dark pool side room. Terrible old fashioned style. Dank stinky bathroom drain smell. Not even basic toiletries. Staff lie about their " second roof top pool" being under maintenance. It's not. They just don't want you to there. I saw through it and waited for them to finally let me go to the other pool because the hotel one is cold even in height of summer. The room have UK plug socket ? Weird. And rhe hairdryer was a basic second hand disappointment. I didn't wash my hair because it would have taken on an hour to dry it. And cannot dry in the bathroom as the wrong plug. I usually stay at Patio,, and it was cheaper than here. I thought here would be better based on reviews. It was far from that. When I left; they blocked my car from leaving until they scouted the room to see if I took the minibar. The staff , sovonna, then gave me his own ABA to pay him directly for 1 beer. I left the money in my room but he became aggressive and then said he gave me his QR because the Hotel QR doesn't work. It does. As I used it many times. Basically this is not a hotel. Rose and Roth were great staff. They deserve better than this . 99% of it.
- Jennifer (7/5): Top Lage, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. -
- Philip (8/5): Will definitely stay there next time - Very friendly and efficient service. Great value for money. Wonderful choice of breakfasts. Good airconditioning, Curtains did a great job of blocking out the light from outside. Could have had a better selection oof beer, and a bright blue margherita took some getting used to, but these were minor issues. Also, the excellent coffee with my first breakfast was not repeated by that served on subsequent mornings.
- Rita (8/5): - Posizione centrale, tranquillo, silenzioso, stanza ampia, personale reception molto cordiale.
- Morth (9/5): -
- Craig (9/5): I would come back and I would recommend to others. - The Breakfasts were great. A large selection off an al la carte menu.
If we wanted more than the cafe offered, we were able to go across the street to a brewery or restaurant...two great restaurants for dinner. Very convenient. Pool was very nice. Location very convenient. Not really anything I could complain about... it all was good. The cafe feels a bit like a breakfast only cafe...not necessarily a place one would have lunch or dinner.
- Leah Marie (8/5): -
- Joanna (10/5): -
- CC (9/5): - Good location and price. Big room. Helpful staff. Nice pool. Room lighting is a bit dark if one wants to read.
- Andreas (9/5): -
- Linda (7/5): -
- Greg (8/5): - Great location and good use of gym and pool at next door Skyline Apartments. Quiet despite central location. Breakfast wasn't amazing but was ok.
- COM (9/5): -
- God beliggenhed i et dejligt område. God morgenmad.
- Leszek (10/5): -
- Nicky (10/5): A perfect hotel in Siem Reap! - The most amazing hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was enormous! With a lovely balcony. We even had the chance to do some tree planting at one of the sister hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to go back very soon! Nothing. It was all amazing!
- Melissa (9/5): Clean, convenient and friendly - The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is in a convenient location and our room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast is very generous as well.
- Josephine (8/5): Great value for money! - Included breakfast, pool, friendly service. No lift.
- Naomi (9/5): Really lovely staff but the mosquitoes made it less than comfortable. - The staff were exceptionally friendly: absolutely top class and super helpful. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms.
- Ian (5/5): Good location, not a great hotel - dated and needs some love - Good location and friendly staff. Clean sheets and good aircon Room smelt of sewerage from teh bathroom. Single glazed windows with lots of contruction noise. Coffeee facilities not replenished. Very few power sockets. This family suite was clearly a double suite that had had two extra beds crammed into the living area. Communal areas need more cleaning
- Peter (10/5): A wonderful place to stay in Phnom Penh and I will stay here again - The breakfasts were very tasty and the kitchen staff very friendly. All staff, from house keeping to management werre wonderful, friendly and helpful.
The grounds and pools were clean and relaxing. Nothing, I loved it all.
- Tim (8/5): Great value hotel - Overall a great stay at the Skyline. The staff were all friendly and organised our ongoing transfer very smoothly . The room we had was huge with a comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a large balcony overlooking the pool. Nice that they had dressing gowns for guests to use .
The pool was extremely clean and great for swimming . I think the hotel is a little dated especially in public areas like the restaurant. Would benefit from a facelift .The lighting in our bedroom/bathroom was too dark and made the room feel very dingy ( a shame as the room was a actually very nice)
Buffet style breakfast would have been much better than a set menu .
- shrekfeet (6/5): Good location needs updating - Hotel is in a great location for tourism. However it is a little tired and needs some updating and cleaning. The room was clean enough with fresh sheets. However windows and paintwork and communal areas a little dirty and need attention. Our bathroom smelt of dirty drains the whole time. Room was serviced daily but never replaced coffee making facilities. Staff very friendly, especially Rose on front desk with a great sense of humour. Breakfast was ok, not great, just ok. Windows are single glazed and don't do a very good job of blocking out the noise from the construction site across the street, which starts daily around 7:30am. Pool area is nice, shaded by trees, but needs to be swept daily and cushions on sunbeds were wet as they had been left out in the rain.
- Kwang (8/5): A Return Visit That Confirmed Excellence at Skyline Boutique Hotel - My recent stay at the Skyline Boutique Hotel reaffirmed why I choose to return. While the hotel’s location and amenities are fantastic, the true standout, once again, is the incredible staff. Their dedication to genuine, thoughtful customer service is what elevates this stay from good to truly excellent.
A special and heartfelt thank you must go to Stna and Karona, both of whom provided stellar service, particularly during breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. They were consistently warm, attentive, and efficient, ensuring every dining experience was a pleasure.
Stna deserves an extra mention for going above and beyond. I experienced some frustration this time with the internet connection, which was unfortunately intermittent (a noticeable difference from my previous, flawlessly connected stay). Stna took ownership of the issue immediately. Instead of simply resetting a router or offering basic troubleshooting, she proactively summoned the hotel’s IT/Tech support staff to assist and to ensure the problem was addressed professionally and thoroughly, allowing me to resolve my connection troubles quickly. This level of proactive, personalized problem-solving is rare and highly appreciated.
Beyond the restaurant, the overall operation of the hotel is top-notch. The daily cleaning team deserves recognition as well, my room was spotless and perfectly maintained every single day, reflecting great attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.
Despite the minor connectivity hiccup, which was resolved with the staff's help, the Skyline Boutique Hotel remains a fantastic choice. When service is this friendly, professional, and dedicated, it truly makes all the difference. Highly recommended!
- Jonathan (8/5): - Very friendly, location is excellent
- Nicky (9/5): - It was in a great location. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Nothing. I liked it all
- Ilka (7/5): -
- Pereira (8/5): - The room smelled of mold
- Diggle (10/5): Beautiful Résidence, perfect for our family - This place is a perfect little haven. Close to everything but so peaceful and lovely. We are a family of 5 and had the whole first floor to ourselves which was absolutely perfect. Three bedrooms and a kitchen area. Strongly recommended!!
- mark (10/5): Great location friendly staff - Great location Nothing
- Fiona220 (10/5): - The staff at the hotel were wonderful. Always willing to help.
- Takahide (9/5): - My room was spacious with small kitchen. probably the same to other rooms.
Location is good but quiet in the villa. Free coffee of the breakfast was not good.

- 965means (10/5): Perfect Family Getaway – Kid-Friendly and Peaceful! - We had a great stay at Skyline Boutique Hotel – it’s truly a kid-friendly place! We booked the family suite, which was very spacious and even came with a private kitchen – perfect for our needs.
The hotel is located in a quiet area of the busy town, surrounded by greenery, which made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Our kids especially enjoyed the dedicated kid’s pool and the variety of kid meals offered at the on-site coffee shop—they loved every bite!
Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, space, and a welcoming atmosphere for children.

- Roderick (9/5): Comfortable and affordable. - I had two stays and have upped my score from 8 to 9 for this hotel. I really enjoyed staying here
It’s very reasonably priced, close to Bassac St and just very peaceful. Friendly helpful staff and a nice pool and restaurant if you need them. The bed was very comfortable. Rooms are older and a bit dark. Otherwise it’s great.
- Roderick (8/5): Comfortable well priced hotel. - Well located. Friendly staff. Good pool, spacious room, nice breakfast. Very well priced It’s a bit dark.
- Jonathan (9/5): Excellent location, excellent staff. A really enjoyable stay. - The breakfast was great a good selection of Western and Cambodia options. The staff were extremely friendly going out of their way to help. The rooms were clean and a good size. Having a pool was a great way to relax after a day in the city. The location is great, walking distance to the independence monument and a short tuk tuk ride to the Royal Palace and National Museum. Nothing that I can think of.
- Harsh Vardhan (8/5): - The ambiance, the greenery and location

- Gail (9/5): Great stay in perfect neighborhood for sightseeing - Great location within walking distance to restaurants and sights. Huge clean room with plenty of space for our family. Nice pool. Restaurant had lots of breakfast choices. Nothing really
- Graeme (10/5): Wonderful hotel, great staff - Lovely hotel with absolutely fabulous staff, especially Rose on reception, she was so helpful and welcoming, a delight. Hotel is situated in a quieter part of town but that is part of its charm and it is a two minute walk to the bars and eateries of Bassac Street which are great.
- Michel (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were very helpful, room was generous, excellent location. - The location was very good. A short walk to Bassac Street with a wide range of bars and restaurants to suit the pocket. Not too far from the Royal Palace and museum if you're up for a bit of a walk otherwise a tuk-tuk gets you the heart of the city in a short time. European style micro brewery just over the road from the hotel and Georgian restaurant. Cafe on site serves an excellent breakfast along with local and western dishes. The pool is lovely surrounded by shady trees and plants. Overall, I couldn't recommend this place enough. Not a lot you can do about humidity and rain storms.
- Ruth (8/5): The hotel is charming and welcoming, with wonderful staff. - A charming place to stay in a great location. The staff are very welcoming. The pool is lovely. Nothing really. Some rooms are a little dark.
- Teo (10/5): Perfect for this Solo traveller - Love small, cosy clean hotels and Skyline was perfect for me. Staff were friendly and Rose at the front desk was exceptional. She helped me with a booking, an airport transfer and even went out of her way to exchange some money from down the road as they didn’t have enough on site. I so appreciated this.
The pool was clean and refreshing. Restaurant food yummy, the coffee strong and cocktails delicious. The property was well maintained and the location was great as it was within walking distance to Bassac Lane (popular for bars) Royal palace, shops and ATMs.
- Garry (7/5): Nice quaint hotel - This hotel we thought was good value for money..it was clean and tidy the pool was nice and cool and the free breakfasts where very good..staff very friendly and helpful a big thankyou to Rose on the reception. It was a bit noisy at times as they where doing renovations, at the time starting early in the mornings..but it was ok.
- Reezal (8/5): Very good -
- Courtenay (10/5): Beautiful property. Wonderful staff - Skyline boutique hotel was a great choice for our family. We originally were booked for the family room but ended up in the two bedroom apartment. This was a great decision for us as it gave our teenager their own room and ensuite! The kitchen was a helpful convenience and meant I could prepare some meals for us before a day out. We had breakfast included and enjoyed this each day. There is also a great pub across the road which has fabulous food. The hotel is a little away from the main hotel area but very safe as it is in the consulate area. No busy night time noise and a security guard and front reception staff member on 24/7. Rose was particularly helpful during our stay and another staff member assisted us with contacting a local guide on his mobile when mine wouldn’t work. The kitchen staff also heated up some food for me in the kitchen microwave.
All round a great experience. Beautiful property, wonderful staff. This is an old building, so there were some quirks with the power outlets and finding them around the room - there weren’t many. But apart from some creative thinking on our part, no complaints.
- Nadine (8/5): Perfect place to stay in Phnom Penh. - Specious rooms, friendly staff, great location. A bit noisy at night.
- Andrei (9/5): Superb - We really likes the room, it was really clean and the staff prepare something nice with petals and roses as we were on honeymoon. Breakfast good, altough we had to chose one of predefined options instead of buffet, which limited our options. Limited breakfast options
- Daniel (9/5): Superb - Great location
- Angela (9/5): Highly recommended. - From the time we arrived until we left, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large with a bonus kitchen. The pool was clean and fabulous to escape the heat. A good selection for breakfast. Easy walking to Independence Monument and Bassac Lane.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (9/5): Great staff and location. - The staff especially Rose at the skyline boutique hotel were amazing. They surprised my 10 year old son for his birthday by decorating the room and grabbing him a cake. They were fabulous and the room was very clean. Bed is firm, more on par with European and Asian standards but doable.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing staff. Lovely rooms. Great location. Great breakfast too. We were not told the roof pool would be closed. This was a shame as the hotel is called the Skyline!
- philipc383 (8/5): Lovely staff. Good sized room albeit a bit dated. A few plumbing issues. - Huge room with separate kitchen & dining area overlooking the pool area. Staff lovely and took a real interest in our plans. Close to Bassac Lane. A bit too far out generally to walk to the other main areas of interest. Plenty of tuk tuks though.
- MICHAEL (8/5): - Fantastic location
Great friendly staff
Quieter than a lot of other places in similar location.
