• ALVARO (10/5): Feliz 2025 - Hospede personas de la tercera Edad, el unico detalle fue en la regadera el piso muy resbaloso, creo que mi recomendacion es mejorar ese aspecto, ya que es un area delicada, pero en general, la estancia, todo muy agradable y acondicionado. Para el acceso a recepcion, si esta muy reducido para el area de silla de ruedas, creo que igual mejorar ese aspecto

Mi esposa, mis 2 hijos y yo, rentamos un cuarto por 1 noche. Habitación con 2 camas matrimoniales. La habitación es mínima y muy pequeña, apenas caben las 2 camas. Limpia si, pero realmente pequeña. Tuve la mala suerte que alguien dejó puesto el despertador para sonar a las 4:30am en algun cuarto anexo, así que sonó y sonó y sonó. Hablé a la recepción aproximadamente 3 veces para que lo encontrarar y lo apagaran. Finalmente a las 5 de la mañana el despertador se apagó y pudimos dormir, El check out es a las 12 y desde las 11:50 empezaron a hablarnos para que desocuparamos el cuarto. No me gustó el cuarto, tuve una mala experiencia (mala suerte) por el despertador del otro cuarto. No me volvería a quedar ahí

• nldogbert (6/5): Functional with friendly staff - I stayed for 1 night at this property - mainly to find a Hilton property to break my journey from Queretaro back down to Mexico City. Location: This property is really located among offices in a what I see as an industrial area of this small city of San Juan del Rio. Without a car, there is not much one can do. From a touristic point of view, the location of this property is not the best. It is however on the national road towards Tequis (a small charming village). The drive to the historical centre of the city is about 10-15 mins depending on traffic. There are some restaurant and Walmart about 5 mins drive from the hotel Check in: I arrived just after lunch time at the property and (for the first time in Mexico) encountered a friendly front desk who quickly checked me. I was also for the first time recognized as an Elite HHonors member. The whole check in process was quick and I was off to my room within 5 mins of arrival - including information about the breakfast hours. I was also automatically provided with my 2 free bottles of water and a snack. Room: The room was located on the 3rd floor and it was on the smaller side. Another first in Mexico - the room was very wel lit - maybe too much. The lights were all white light and seemed to be the most luminous ones . For me this did not give a cosy feeling in the room - making it very cheap. Other than that, the room was well appointed - with a working desk and a small sitting area. The view from the room was however not the most interesting - it was a view to the backyard of a close by factory. scarpyard. Outside of that, coffee tea making amenities were the usual US type. There were already 2 bottles of water provided in the room. As usual there was no minibar in the room. Internet speed was stable and sufficient - with the TV on the smaller side, and mainly consisted of local channels (only exception was the CNN english channel). Sleep quality was good - with not too much outside or internal noise disturbance. The bathroom was size was ok - with a rather large walk in shower. Water and temperature control was good. Toiletries were wall mounted ones from a local brand. (which seems to be the default one used at other Hampton Inn's in Mexico). Breakfast: Breakfast options was actually quite good - in any case much better compared to Hampton Inn's offerings in the US. They did have a mix of western but also local options. The breakfast room was large - but not very inviting - like the room, simple and seemed to be made just to be functional. Overall: In general, for the price paid, it is a property that is stayable. However, it would not a property I would select if I would have to stay most of the time in the room, for just a clean and comfortable stay, the property is acceptable and I would say one of the better Hilton properties in Mexico from service point of view.

There is an alarm clock, but the time is wat off and I don’t see a way to set the time. That could be me. I called down asking was the bar open. It was within the posted hours of operation. But front desk guy said they don’t serve alcohol. WTH??

• kimhJ502WT (2/5): You should be ready for delay in transportation - This hotel is nice, kind employees, reasonable price, good location. But their taxi service is sometimes hell. We scheduled pick up service from company to hotel everyday during my stay. Most days worked well but ‘sometimes’ we had had to wait for 1 hour without any explanation. I called hotel to ask the transportation at that every time, but employees couldn’t speak english. That situation ruined every good impression remain in my mind. Generally this is nice hotel, needs to improve their service for transportation in order to be ‘Hilton hornors’ class.
• GypsyGitanoAtHeart (4/5): tiny and noisy rooms = ugh - As a Diamond Member at this chain, I can attest that these are absolutely the tiniest rooms I've ever experienced at a Hampton Inn. You get claustrophobia if you stay inside one for too long. Worse, you are surrounded by noise, from a major roadway to incredibly loud industries all around. While this is a newer property, some older ones in this chain are far nicer. Oh, and when I came to check in, it took nearly 10 minutes for the front desk person to appear and attend to me. Not good, not good. Stay away. There is a much nicer Holiday Inn just up the road.

• W9853YWtonyc (10/5): Business Stay - This hotel is in a great location if you have business in San Juan del Rio. Walking distance to restaurants or you can take a cab. Saves about an hour drive in the morning and 2 hours in the evening to Queretaro. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean.
• joannet416 (8/5): Great staff, clean rooms, will come back. - Great room layout & clean room and bathroom. Coffee maker - hair dryer provided. Convenient location for me. Only minor problems were lack of whole vegan foods for breakfast and I couldn't adjust the heat w/ the remote.
