Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): A great choice if you in Layton - Nice close to freeway but couldn’t hear cars. Close to mall, great breakfast, indoor pool, good exercise room. Elevators to rooms, comfy beds. Parking was slim, many patrons had to park across road. Or to the west.
- Janie Tuft (10/5): We both slept so well and were very rested. - We love staying here, and we'll be back. Our daughter lives in Layton, and when we come to visit we stay with you, and we are more satisfied with your lodging than anywhere else, in which we're stayed. Shower heads in pool facility need some help.
- Deborah (10/5): I would stay again and recommend to a friend. - Rooms very comfortable. Great breakfast. Staff helpful.
- Dixie (10/5): This hotel surprised me - I booked this hotel with very low expectations, but I am thrilled to report that it exceeded them all.
I was looking for a clean, safe, inexpensive place for a solo female to stay. This checked all of the boxes. If I need to stay in Layton again, I will happily book here.
The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and in good repair. The air conditioning was excellent. My room was very quiet.

- Tricia (10/5): We needed a quick, last minute place to stay and this was perfect! Very clean and prompt, kind staff. - Our room was super clean and very convenient.
- Warren (10/5): -
- Hugo (5/5): I don't mind staying there again, - Breakfast is good. Location is excellent and it is a clean well maintained hotel. Front desk people. Although courtious, do not engage well in customer service. They don't make you "feel" welcomed.
- Mark (10/5): Best 2 days and nights of our vacation. - Everything. The staff, the cleanest room and bathroom of any motel I've ever stayed at. The showerhead was amazing. The mattress perfect for our comfort and the breakfast. So wonderful. They even had fresh honeycomb providing the honey . It was sooo good on my toast. They had voices of every kind of breakfast you might want! I didn't like that I had to leave! I will stay here again!
- Karilee (10/5): -
- Marcela (9/5): - Buena ubicación
- Alan (9/5): Great. - Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good except lack of available seating. Had to wait for available seats.
- Meeri (8/5): - Good breakfast, nice bed. Little bit strong smell in the corridor and room for me, but got used to it.
- Nash (8/5): -
- Katrina (9/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Brandon (5/5): - My wife loves the jacuzzi tub but it was advertised differently online to rent at the time of check in. I paid more than advertised online. Breakfast was mediocre. King bed was very uncomfortable on my back. The power was out for 3 hours. Very inconvenient.
- Saundra (10/5): -
- Paginator (8/5): Friendly staff, comfortable rooms - I've stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They serve a really nice breakfast.
- Ricardo (3/5): - Breakfast was great , rooms were clean. Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. We were never told there was an extra fee at the hotel that’s refundable we just saw it on our account. Front desk staff was never at the desk they were always in the back and wouldn’t pay any mind to any customers.
At 10 pm the room next to us had kids being so loud , our family of 5 didn’t get good sleep we truly couldn’t wait to get back home and get rest. Our shower woudnt drain it was just a nightmare for us and we spent our hard earned money on what was supposed to be a super great trip for the family.
- Megan (8/5): Would stay there again. - Breakfast was good. No changes or suggestions on that. The people working in the dining room were very nice. The walls were pretty thin and I could hear the people in the next room pretty loudly. The doors slammed pretty hard and the day we needed to check out, the elevator was down. On our second day there, our card keys stopped working and when we went to the front desk, nothing was said about it. No apology or explanation as to why that happened.
- Sandy (9/5): -
- Steven (9/5): -
- Cindy (8/5): Really good Christmas eve exprience - Staff, breakfast Bed because of injured back
- David (8/5): Overall our stay was nice and rooms were clean. - Very nice breakfast. Location had easy access to everything. Hallway noise was excessive and easily heard in room.
- Richard (7/5): EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT - We had a issue with VERY LOUD neighbors with a shared wall. We finally called the front desk around 10:15 and they spoke with the loud guest. Then around 11:45 the loud guest got even louder keeping me and my family awake slamming doors and banging on the wall. I called the front desk again and spoke with a guy who said he was the MANAGER. He spoke with the loud neighbor and said he had them change rooms but didn't come up with them to move rooms. The loud guests got VERY AGGRESSIVE and really started banging on the wall and our door. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with how the MANAGER handled the situation. I tried talking with him the next morning about it but he accepted ZERO responsibility and said he had no way to control loud guests!!!!!
- Tricia (1/5): It was horrendous - The set up was nice that was about it. I was treated horribly. In fact we need to make a complaint. They kicked me out and didn’t even give me my money back.
Because I’m disabled and have a cane and sat in the lobby they kicked me out because I was sitting in the lobby and had some music on outside. That was their reason. They treated me horribly and I didn’t even get to rest. It was a waste of my money they were horrid.
- Pam (10/5): Nice place. I would stay there again. - Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was very good. Bathroom door opens in front of wash sink. Only one elevator and it was slow.
- Vanessa (10/5): My stay was fabulous, I would definitely choose this accommodation again. - The location was great, the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at (all the staff are/were amazing). I would definitely recommend this hotel too others just an overall fantastic experience. The only minor thing was the smell on level 4 when exiting the elevator and walking to my room, although attempts were made to rectify this early in my stay. The smell did not affect my room in any way.
- Jennifer (9/5): Plan on staying agian - Delicious breakfast and it was easy find needed more fresh fruit
- Erica (10/5): Thank you, will be back. - Overall experience Nothing
- Darlene (10/5): I had a great stay. Thank you - The breakfast was great!
- Sherry (5/5): Building structure means I won’t be back - Pillows and breakfast The noise in the room above me was excessive for hours. Structure makes it so you hear the people above constantly.
- Charlotte (7/5): -
- Clair (4/5): - Breakfast was good, good location. This was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I had to move rooms on the first night as there was a party going on in the room next door with people from multiple rooms. The new room, which I was given begrudgingly, was quiet for the first couple of hours, but then the banging from the room above even made the furniture shake. It turns out a kids wrestling team was staying in the hotel and obviously practising in their rooms.
Never anyone reception, just a sign to say they were away.
- Gretchen (8/5): - breakfast is always good (good selection, etc.).
- Janie Tuft (10/5): It is the best place to for us to stay while visiting family there, and the ammenties are perfect. - We liked everything about our stay with you, and we'll be staying there again in the near future more than likely. It is the best deal in Layton, and our daughter and her family live near by, so it's perfect for us. We are regulars there ! Nothing !
- C.R. (8/5): Would stay there again. - Good location Nothing
- Allan (10/5): - Breakfast was excellent.
- Nate (10/5): - Breakfast was great, nice and quiet.
- Rob (9/5): Highly recommended. - Great facility, clean rooms, great exercise & pool area. Fantastic breakfast.
- Matt (9/5): -
- Vaioleti (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): - Room was good size with chairs and desk. Comfortable to hang in room. Bed was good and liked that we could open room window. Bathroom setup was a little outdated.
- Rebecca (10/5): Overall, very pleasant. Would come again. - Best Westerns breakfast is better than average; love all the options. Loved our room. The furniture was nice. It was very comfortable with chairs and an ottoman as well as a desk. Since we were spending a couple days there that was important to us. Loved the bathroom layout with the toilet and shower separate from the sink, but the sink area is still private from the main room. Love that the duvet is white and easily removable so you can see that it's clean and not have to wonder the last time it was washed. Overall the room appears newer and is not shabby. The lobby is beautiful. The staff is friendly. It was easy walking distance to several restaurants, a movie theater, and a mall. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice as well. I got sooo many emails from them from the time I booked to shortly after we left. Almost everything is electronic. I did book online, so I know that was part of it, and we did have a person actually check us in. I know a lot of people like the convenience of electronics, but I tend to be a little more old fashioned. I only saw a person at the desk once that we didn't have to ring a bell for. Personally, I like to see a friendly and helpful face at the desk when I walk into a hotel without having to call them. And I get enough emails without 10 from my hotel within a few days.
- kelly (10/5): -
- Terri (8/5): -
- Keren (9/5): The staff has to be my favorite part of my of our stay. The cleanliness of the places was fantastic. - Very clean and welcoming. The staff is AMAZING; front desk, continental breakfast staff, and house keeping. Parking
- Frances (6/5): - Breakfast was really nicely done. It was enjoyable to have a bit more variety than some other hotels.
The hotel was very clean. The lobby was charming. Room was overly warm and very difficult to try to cool down. We had to wait for the front desk clerk to show up on both occasions that we needed to talk to him. I was not very comfortable with the parking situation as the lot in front of the hotel was very small and we had to park out in what appeared to be mall parking lot. Additionally, information with regards to where to park was not offered.
- Jane W. (9/5): - Breakfast was excellent with a much larger variety than expected. Room spacious and very comfortable. Front Desk Manager was very helpful in fixing the bedside table light in room as the bulb was burned out.
- Miah (5/5): - Breakfast was great! Very clean The beds were so uncomfortable I woke up sore. Pillows were horrible as well.
- Bruce (9/5): Great Value not in the heart of Salt Lake. - Location worked well for us. The room was large and clean. Breakfast included. Great value.
- Sarah (8/5): - The room with a view of the park and mountains was very pleasant.
- Marlene (10/5): -
- Michael (5/5): - The hotel felt rather tired and run down
- Janalee (8/5): -
- Vickie (8/5): Comfortable- Quiet Clean - All was well- We will be back the 13th
- Susan (10/5): -
- Robert (8/5): - The coffee maker didn’t work and the toilet wouldn’t flush but it kept running all night.
- Michael (8/5): - the room was clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and pleasant.
- Richard (4/5): - Front desk check in personnel was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was nice clean and looked very appetizing. Pipe back up in the 4th floor that stunk up the whole floor. Mattress was old and had dents in it.
- Yvonne (5/5): Umweltaspekte gibt es nicht - Lage gut, alles war sauber. Beim Frühstück werden riesige Müllberge produziert, es gibt nur Einweg-Geschirr, auf die Umwelt geachtet wird nicht. Schade, ich dachte, Best Western Plus wäre mittlerweile besser, was diesen Punkt betrifft, deshalb leider Punktabzug.
- Candace (8/5): - Everything was clean and breakfast was great!
- Thomas (9/5): Würde dort wieder übernachten. - Modernes BW im traditionellem Stil, gutes Frühstück, bequeme Betten.
- Amandine (9/5): -
- Sharon Lynn (10/5): - It was fine. The gravy was salty most likely from a can. But otherwise everything else was good
- Valérie (10/5): -
- Shannon (10/5): - Great breakfast and pool was great
- Cliff (4/5): Clean room, NO HOT WATER for 3 days! - Had NO HOT WATER for 3 days. Notified front desk. Nothing done. Rooms were beautiful and very clean. Would give 5 stars but the lack of hot water brings out down to 3 stars.
- Lindsay (10/5): - Excellent breakfast variety and appreciate the cleanliness of the property. I definitely would return to this hotel!
- Laura (10/5): - Clean room, very good breakfast
- David (10/5): - Clean
- Joseph (6/5): - Good night breakfast in the morning I didn't have a picture in my kitchenette in my room for the microwave and a fridge so I didn't do anything in the room like cooking so they have really good breakfast in the morning anyway that I really like before I check out
- Yevgeny (10/5): - My lady friend and I like this hotel. Clean room, walking distance to the restaurants.
- Marian (10/5): Worth the money - The room is spacious. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of options. Waffles, eggs, bacon, hash browns, and breakfast tacos were available in the hot section, plus much more.
- Nicholas (9/5): Very satisfactory stay. - Great location from airport and then onto West Yellowstone. Breakfast was very good.
- Patricia (8/5): -
- Kamri (10/5): -
- Bruno (10/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): Great place for families-larger rooms than most hotels - Stayed with my daughter after she had surgery. Front desk staff were so kind. My daughter was having a hard time sleeping so I came down to the desk around midnight and asked the gentleman if he happened to have any ear plugs and he brought me two pair! So kind and saved the night. Thank you for the great service. Nothing!
- David (10/5): - Great breakfast ! Many options.
- Kathryn (10/5): - We can always count on Best Western Plus hotels to be clean, quiet, convenient, provide stellar customer service and this particular one was no exception. The breakfast offered a nice variety of items and was decent quality.
- Suzette (10/5): - Room was quiet, beds very comfortable, did not he's much noise from neighbors or outside. Breakfast was good.Easy parking.
- Diane (10/5): - Welcoming lobby area with friendly staff. The room was of a good size, clean with adequate storage. The breakfast room was bright and airy with cute displays. The breakfast itself was plentiful & delicious with a good amount of choice. One of the "best" Best Westerns we have stayed in
- Shea (10/5): -
- Camille (8/5): - Breakfast had good options, different from the norm. Hotel was clean and cozy.
- Qin (8/5): - Location, clean. Breakfast can be better, especially for the weekend. Someone set the alarm clock and woke us up at 12am.
- Dewayne (8/5): - We went to Lagoon Amusement park for the day, it was 15 minutes from there. When we finished late, we got to the room and were loaded out in 10 minutes. Then the breakfast was awesome the next morning.
- Don R (10/5): We've found our perfect host ! - We have stayed at this Best Western Plus in Layton, UT several times to visit family, which we have living there.
