• Denis (6/5): It is probably okay unless you are in room 105. - The location is reasonable, the king bed is large, the location is adequate, the breakfast is good. Please stop misleading guests. Add a different category for room 105 so that people do not get so disappointed. The room 105 is on the ground floor. You will hear every whisper from the reception 24 hours a day as guest come and go. If you open the curtain, you will see that guest that are sitting a the couch at the reception are staring in your room. There was some dirt in the corner of the room and I am not surprised as it is so dark with curtains being shut. Also, please stop asking people to surrender their room key when they step out of the property. There is no need for this in 2026. The same goes for the outside door - there should be no need to wait until you come and open the door. Other rooms in this hotel are probably 8-9 out of 10 but room 105 is a disappointment. I would 100% not stay in room 105 again and I would not stay in this hotel until they match their rooms with accurate descriptions.

• Peter (10/5): El Mariscal - the ideal Hotel in Cusco. - It is extremely rare that I give a "10" for a Hotel but the El Mariscal in Cusco deserves it. Very friendly staff, they were always happy to help us. When we had to leave early (like 4am...) they prepared Sandwiches for us. When we didn't have to leave early we had breakfast on the 4th floor which was delicious. The rooms were spacious, the shower was good (hot water within seconds) and the Wi-Fi was also very good. The location of the Hotel is ideal, it is NOT in the old historic center of the Town (where you cannot drive) but it is very close to it. Nothing we didn't like.

Leží ve slepé a tiché ulici, v blízkosti obchůdky, lékárna, prádelna, restaurace a také malé, ale příjembé tržiště. Do centra kousek. Skvělé výchozí místo k památkám i do přírody. Personál byl velice ochotný a splnil všechna naše přání.Pokoj byl čistý, postele pohodlné. Snídat bylo možné i na pokoji. Po celý den byl k dispozici coca i muño čaj. Moc doporučuji. Na pokoji není k dispozici fén, ale je možnost jeho zapůjčení na recepci.

• KONG SHING (7/5): Memorable Service and a Restful Stay - The room is very clean, and the bed quality ensures a restful stay. While you do have to wait a moment for the hot water to kick in, the service more than makes up for it. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful; they even ask for your breakfast preferences, which you can enjoy on the top floor. If you need to leave early, they will even prepare a custom sandwich for you. They were also very proactive in offering luggage storage. The staff’s service made this a truly memorable stay. No. For improvement: If the water pressure were improved and the toiletries were switched to bottled liquids, the facilities would be perfect.

They waited up for us as out train from Aguas Calientes was delayed by over 1.5 hours! We had the super queen on level 1/ground floor. We had breakfast brought to our room. Great value for money once again! Nothing

Very close to the San Blas area so 10 minutes walk from Cathedral. There is also no lift. There are a few independent laundry services nearby.

Bij terugkomst lag de bagage al klaar op de kamer en was de taxi naar het vliegveld geregeld. Echt geweldig!

• Cesar V (10/5): Excelente el.servicio y la ubicación, lugar muy tranquilo - El.hotel esta en una calle bastante tranquila perfectl para poder descansar bien, pero a solo 15 minutos caminado de plaza de armas, farmacia, mini markets y restaurantes cerca. El servicio fue excelente, de los mejores servicios que hemos recibidoen un alojamiento. Preparan un box de desayuno inclusive para los tours de muy temprano en la mañana(4am). Los días que pudimos desayunar en el hotel nos lo llevaron a la habitación Recomendado 100% volveriamos a quedarnos ahi si volvemos. Todo excelente.

Nice breakfast served to order so it was fresh although there could have been more fruit for my liking. The staff were also very friendly and gave helpful recommendations we really appreciated. It was a bit difficult to locate by taxi but it wasn't a big issue. Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit noisy (not from the outside but inside) because sound carries and we were on the third floor so you could hear people talking and walking, doors closing, etc. WiFi was weak during our stay.

• Bryan (8/5): A solid 8/10 – excellent value 3-star hotel in quiet San Blas - Hotel El Mariscal Cusco is a excellent 3-star choice in Cusco. It offers great value with consistently strong feedback across all the rating platforms I visited prior to booking. The property is located in the quiet neighborhood of San Blas, just a 10-15 minute walk from Plaza de Armas. Peaceful yet close to restaurants and shops. The hotel is setup with an open concept on the inside with a large atrium. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable beds and good hot showers. The staff were nothing but outstanding! Friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. They assist with tours, taxis, luggage storage, excellent breakfast as well as an early lunch bag to take on the road. Wi-Fi was reliable throughout. Slight uphill walk from the main square which was a little bit of a challenge on this 65 year old body on my first day, prior to getting acclimated to the altitude. After the first day, it was a piece of cake. Since all the rooms are open to the middle of the building, there can be noise. There were a few rooms which were quite loud but I did notice the staff walking around asking them to quiet down. Since so many are here for tours it’s hard to not hear them early in the morning as they start leaving around 4am. If you’re an extremely light sleeping, this place may not be for you.
