The noise from the airport as the motel appears to be at the end of the main runway, maybe I was just there on a bad night or a light sleeper?

Our room was very soundproof with brick walls, I didn't hear anything. Air con worked really well. The bath towels are very thin and need replacing. It would be nice to have more face washers instead of just 1. Missing a full length mirror. Door lock feels flimsy. Key drop box isn't even locked.

Receiving milk in a little clip top jar was disgusting and complim biscuits ( 1 packet only)

Sue (9/5): welcoming staff and environment, perfect for our needs, will be back - clean, comfortable, quiet, close to family who we were visiting, staff very helpful and friendly wifi seemed but weak this visit but have been able to use it ok on previous occasions. Toiletries provided were perfectly adequate but we’ve maybe been spoilt by other motels that use large wall mounted dispensers of toiletries.

Robyn (5/5): Noisy&NoReturn - Really nice rooms Altho this Motel is pet friendly, I'd forgotten to report that l was travelling with a little dog (l was heading to Blackall to the funeral of my Mum, so l was in a tizz when l booked then still forgot to mention it at Reception), I was in an upstairs Queen Room $140/night, a female staff member saw me with my dog the next morning and asked why l was upstairs with a dog...l said l always book pet friendly Motels because l travel with my dog...long story short l was already emotional plus no sleep, basically l was told to vacate that room, to pay an extra $50 a night (x2nights) l had fully unpacked (for 2nights) repacked (with nasty staff member checking that l was leaving room) to a lower room closer to dog area but also closer to very noisy intersection...so the location is awful, very busy intersection and opposite a light aircraft field, l def am not going back there again.

Rachel (9/5): Super clean, spacious, comfy bed, and good location - I had a lovely stay at Sunray Motor Inn. The spacious room was squeaky clean and smelt wonderful. The bed was super comfy. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was spot on. There was a kettle, toaster and microwave in my room which was very handy. The towels in the bathroom smelt nice and were very soft. Considering the location of the motel was on a busy road and opposite the aerodrome, I wasn’t bothered by any excessive noise in my room. I’ll definitely be staying at Sun Ray again. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
