• MICHELE (6/5): - Bien dans l'ensemble. très propre et bon accueil. Juste un détail chambre 01, pas de clapet pour maintenir les piles dans la télécommande. La porte de la salle de bain un peu dégradée par l'humidité, malgré une plaque de protection basse. idem chambre 02. Dommage, il serait bien de changer les portes pour du MDF qui ne bougerait plus du tout. Petit déjeuner au choix, sucré ou salé, bien installé, bien qu'un peu cher. Dans l'ensemble bon hôtel.

Il manque de porte manteaux. La porte coulissante de la douche se déboîte et nous reste dans les mains. La brosse pour nettoyer la cuvette des we est moisie et noire… Les chèques vacances ne sont plus acceptés

• Lewis (8/5): Overall good hotel/rooms but bad resturant food - Overall it was a good hotel . Nice ,clean , comfortable room with free parking and a good breakfast. We stayed for buisness so was only driving too and from work . Maybe not great for leisure as there isnt much round it . Walked about 20mins too get too a great chinese buffet though. Which made up for the food we had at the hotel resturant the previous night.

• Clara (8/5): Belle surprise - Cet hôtel m'a énormément dépannée en période de grève. Même si le contexte géographique n'est pas des plus glamour, l'hôtel est très agréable et bien pensé. J'ai très bien dormi, l'hôtel est hyper calme, la literie ultra confortable, la douche bien chaude. J'ai pu ranger mes affaires, j'ai apprécié les nombreux cintres et la petite veilleuse. Seul petit, petit bémol : je n'ai pas réussi à avoir un bon accès à toutes les chaînes de TV. A l'accueil, le monsieur était très sympathique et professionnel. Je pense sans doute revenir, si je me retrouve coincée à Villejuif.

Other complaints: nothing to eat in the area. The shower was so small. Surfaces were dirty. Towels were heavily used and stained. I booked 2 nights. I asked for a refund on my second night because i didnt want to stay another night. If the proper amenities were listed id never would have booked. But they denied my refund. Understaffed and struggling. The staff there was pleasant though. Wouldn't ever stay again.

• Julio Cesar (6/5): Good but far - It is easy to walk to the station, but the distance is 2 kilometers. Take in consideration that maybe you are going to be tired before starting your real travel around Paris, if you decide to walk. The shower is really small. The breakfast is good but take in consideration that is a continental breakfast. (Only some bread, jam, cheese, eggs, juice, milk, yogurt and that’s all). The service is good.

The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the nearest Metro stop, that is at the end of the Metro line Summary I’m happy to walk a bit and travel a bit longer to get to the centre of Paris, as long as I have a clean, comfortable, large room at a decent price

• Paolo (10/5): - La nostra necessità era di trovare un hotel con parcheggio e collegamenti facili e veloci ai mezzi pubblici per arrivare a Parigi centro. Il Balladins a Villejuif ha soddisfatto pienamente le esigenze. L hotel è confortevole, comodo e soprattutto pulito. Il personale é ottimo, molto cordiale e disponibile e ci hanno aiutato in tutti i modi. Complimenti veramente . La linea 7 della métro si trova a 1800 mt dall’hotel, per noi una passeggiata, ma eventualmente c’è anche L autobus dietro l’angolo che vi porta alle fermate successive sempre della stessa linea. L’area è periferica, non c è molto, quartieri commerciali, dormitori, zona interetnica ma molto tranquilla. Per chi arriva in macchina lo consiglio proprio.

The room had a sink leak which didn't get repaired, no stopper in the sink and the shower was so tiny, until you didn't have room to bend over. Also no phone service for making local calls. in france at this hotel. Also if you come in late, there parking lot is full and know where close on street to park.

• jean claude (10/5): bon séjour, nous reviendrons la prochain.occasion - nous sommes arrivés tardivement, 2 couples, le veilleur de nuit nous a ouvert le portail et nous a expliqué le fonctionnement de l’hôtel, (nos chambres contiguës, nous l'avions demandé à la réservation, la salle du petit déjeuner, le salon, etc..). elles étaient à l'étage, façade arrière de l'hôtel donc opposées à la rue, elles étaient propres, une petite odeur de cigarette y régné qui s'est estompée rapidement, la nuit a été bonne, silencieuse à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur,(je pense qu'en façade avant le bruit devait être plus fort, une dame nous ayant demandé d'arrêter les moteurs de voiture, au moment du départ,. Le petit déjeuner était copieux sans excès. Le personnel sympathique. Le petit bémol est l'eau chaude qui faisait le yoyo tantôt chaude, tantôt froide, j'ai été le seul à me plaindre (nous étions 2 couples)

• Case (10/5): Great place, highly recommended. - The employees are very friendly and accommodating. They all speak English to varying degrees and we never had a problem communicating. He free breakfast they serve was fantastic. There is a bus station at the end of the street which provides easy access to the city. If you want something nearby, the pizza place down the street is good and the Indian restaurant across the street was delicious. There’s also a grocery store around the block.

Il y avait des flaques d'urines au sol. Chambre à mobilité réduite alors que j'avais demandé une chambre normale. Bruits incessants dans le couloir. Douche sans vrai débit d'eau.

• Helen (10/5): Clean, comfortable, great price - We chose this hotel to be round the corner from where our son was living. It was excellent - very comfortable beds, a decent bathroom (shower fine providing you aren’t too fat to fit in it!) and a great breakfast buffet for the price. Obviously not a super swish and fancy hotel but everything you need for a decent overnight stay.

Seul l’environnement à mi-chemin entre banlieue et zone est moyen. Mais d’abord on y vient pour dormir. Ensuite aucun problème de sécurité. Juste pas glamour. J’y reviendrais pour ne pas être loin d’Orly.

• Michael (8/5): Perfect if you're staying in the area. - This hotel is absolutely ideal if you are staying in the Villejuif area. I wouldn't recommend it if you are off for a weekend in Paris as it is approx 20 min walk to the nearest station and there's not a lot going on in the local area. However, if you are there doing business or seeing friends in the area it is perfect. The rooms are clean and modern with comfortable beds and the staffer helpful in organising us a taxi as there were troubles with strikes whilst we were there. Recommended.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel, not far from metro and a shop - When we arrived, we were given a room for two persons instead of a room for three, which was booked well in advance and paid. However, the issue was solved and for the first night we were provided an additional room for our third person. All the rest stay was OK, no any issues.
• kam (6/5): Hotel far from central Paris - I found this hotel to be far from central Paris and it cost more in taxis to get around. There was no restaurant in the hotel and not many restaurants close by apart from 1 pizza place. The staff were friendly though and I was able to get a coffee when I needed one.

• BC (8/5): Friendly Staff - This hotel was convenient as we had a car and needed the free parking. It was a reasonable walk to the Metro through a nice neighborhood, and the staff was very friendly. It was spartan accommodations, though, but the price reflected that. Overall quite nice.
• ALLIE (4/5): Far from touristic places in Paris - Hello, my first impression of Paris was disgusting and disappointing. Everyone always talks of Paris as this magical city which it is, however once you're outside of Paris, I felt that I was in the ghetto. Graffiti everywhere...dirty streets...hoodlums...etc. Of course, everywhere you go has its good and its bad however this hotel in particular states on their website that the proximity of Paris is under 15 minutes on the 7 metro line. Go see it yourself if you don't believe me. The closest train was 2.5 miles away. My family and I had to take a bus to the train, sometimes take two trains just to get to our destination. There's no bar nearby...just a crappy pizza place and a couple places irrelevant.The neighborhood seems low class and not the kind of place you want to walk around late at night. The rooms were clean but there's no snack bar, no refrigerator, no ice, no food, nothing. When I asked front desk for a drink, the man gave me a glass of apple juice!!!! If you do not care about the commuting and what not then go ahead and pick this place but just keep in mind that the cab service is very expensive each way and it's 30 minutes away.

We asked the front for a taxi to take us to the airport at 3:45 and i guess he called his friend. The man charged us 50 euros for a 15 min ride to the airport. When we first got there we we took about 30 min because of traffic we only paid 28 euros. MAKE SURE TO ONLY GET IN A TAXI THAT HAS A METER. This hotel is really close to the bus (#131) that takes you to the subway. If you get a map of the subway in information at the airport your life willbe alot easier. This hotel said check in was at 12 when we got there we were told only CHECKOUT was at 12 and we would have to wait to check in until 2
• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful surprise - The area is a little weird, but it was such a beautiful shock. The place was absolutely spotless and the staff was very nice and conversed in both French and English. The room itself was exactly like the pictures they post. The metro is about a 25 min walk. But other than that, I would definitely go back there.
