- Meike (9/5): Sehr nettes Hotel in perfekter Lage. - Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist klasse und es ist sehr ruhig dort. Wir waren zum 2. Mal dort. Die Größe des Zimmers ist für 3 Personen gut. Das Frühstück ist super. Wir kommen bestimmt gern wieder. Die Lüftung war recht laut.

I searched for the cheapest hotel in London - this was it - we were completely blown away. The extremely comfortable bed. The lavish cooked breakfast. Everything appeared so relaxed but I know the only way to get to this level of excellence is by having a very hard working crew. The friendliness of all staff members that we encountered. Having to leave.

We asked for a cot in our room 3 weeks before our stay and when we got there, no cot. The “system” wasn’t working and the receptionist was not very helpful or kind, but things got better the following days.

The temperature is centrally regulated, but can be adjusted for each individual room. And this was finally done after I had asked reception three times! I HATE cold hotel rooms, so if I go to London in Autumn or Winter I may choose a different hotel. Unless this hotel can supply an extra heater for the room…… The shower was also a bot odd. It looked like one of those Grohe rain showers, but only produced tiny trickles of water

Everyone was very helpful, friendly, always helped us figure out transportation (especially since there was a transit strike). Patrick was extremely helpful. Cleaning staff were courteous and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. Everyone on the staff made this stay memorable and deserve major praise. I will definitely come back to this hotel. Everything was perfect. I can't think of anything that was a problem.

Just small items, like charging cables, a shopping bag containing items purchased at Boots. Quartier vivant , plusieurs pubs et restaurants proches. Très bon petit-déjeuner à la carte compris dans le prix et préparé à la demande, en plus d'un beau buffet. Merci à Roger pour sa gentillesse. Belle salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne, literie très confortable. Je recommande cet hôtel. tout est parfait

- Sandra (10/5): Perfekte Lage, freundliches Personal - Das Frühstück war toll. Hervorgehoben gehört, dass die warmen Speisen frisch serviert werden. Die Nähe zur U-Bahn-Station ist perfekt um die Stadt zu erkunden und für die An- und Abreise wenn man über Heathrow fliegt. Supermarkt und „Restaurants“ sind in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Das Personal war superfreundlich und bemüht und hatte immer gute Laune. Das Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht. Vom Teppichboden im Zimmer war ich nicht so begeistert, auch wenn das in London Standard ist. Das war aber schon das einzige was nicht so gut gepasst hat.

- travel_mandu (6/5): Unbeatable location, but the room was a letdown - I really wanted to love this stay because the location is absolutely perfect - it’s literally a 2-minute walk to the Earl’s Court tube station, which makes getting around London very convenient. The decor throughout the hotel is genuinely gorgeous. However, the room itself left a lot to be desired. It was cramped, and the bed felt quite small for two people. Most frustratingly, the bed frame creaked every single time I moved, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On top of that, the bathroom had a noticeable damp smell that wasn’t very pleasant. For the price, I expected a much higher standard of comfort and maintenance.

Large room (#101) and perfect amenities, including fridge and tea makings and complimentary snacks. Even the bathroom was large! There is an M&S express across the street, which we came to rely on for good simple healthy fare. And the Earl's Court tube is so close. This neighborhood has come a long way (according to my husband who spent time in 60s- 70s London). It is now safe and quiet. The local pubs looked inviting (we didn't wind up sampling). On our last morning, we wandered the nearby Brompton Cemetery, a little piece of wild solemnity, with birdsong and wildflowers amid the graves, another oasis from the madding crowd.

- dlh1974 (10/5): Great stay - A one night stay to attend Le Chat Noir at The Lost Estate. This hotel was ideally located for our needs, very close to Earls Court Station amd just 1 stop away from West Kensington. Lovely hotel with friendly staff, especially Roger during breakfast service. Would definitely stay again.

- Daniela (9/5): Perfekte Lage, um London zu bereisen! Sauber, freundlich, wir kommen wieder :) - Die Lage ist kaum zu toppen! Liegt direkt an zwei U-Bahn Linien, mit denen man ganz London bequem bereisen kann. Mit der Picadilly Line kann man auch direkt zum Flughafen Heathrow fahren, was sehr angenehm war. Liegt in einem eher gehobenem Viertel mit vielen Restaurants, deshalb haben wir uns auch sehr sicher gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, man konnte sowohl vom Buffet essen als auch a la Carte bestellen. Die Mitarbeiter:innen sehr freundlich und bemüht. 24 Stunden Rezeption. Teppichboden im Zimmer und den Fluren fanden wir eher unhygienisch. Das Bett ist recht hart und man muss sich eine Decke teilen. Aber das sind nur kleine Kritikpunkte, alles in allem würden wir das Hotel absolut empfehlen.

- ItchyFeetBTS (8/5): Good choice for a few nights - This property is in a great location just a block from the Earls Court tube station on the Picadilly & District lines which made it very easy to get anywhere we wanted in the city. The building is in a row of older row houses and is charming. The room was small, but adequate. It was very dark, though, and the lighting wasn’t great. Our desk was tucked away in a little alcove, but there was no lamp/light there, so it was useless. We had 2 robes, which was lovely, but one was pretty ratty – about ready for the rag pile. The bathroom was quite small. it had a small shelf for toiletries, but absolutely no place for towels. If they want us to help the environment and reuse them, then they must provide a place to hang them up so they can dry. The light in the makeup mirror didn’t work. The shower was very slippery even with no-skid dots. There was only a half shower wall so water splashed all over. The water pressure was fair – it was better with the handheld faucet, but that’s difficult to maneuver. The rain shower head was easier, but had less pressure. They had what we call slimy water – not sure if it was due to the water itself or the shower gel that never felt like it was rinsed off. I know the gel is ecologically better, but we really hate its sliminess. They have an excellent breakfast – a combination of buffet & ordering off the menu and lots of good choices. Staff was all good – friendly and helpful (except that the hotel has no maps of either the city or the tube). The bartender was great when I asked for some Ice for my foot, even providing a towel to wrap the ice in. The ceiling light in our room went out on our third night and no one could replace the bulb except during business hours, so the room was even darker than usual. On our first 2 nights there was a hole in our ceiling looking up into the lighted ventilation ducts. We came back on our third night to find a brand-new grate had been installed. That was nice, but it was disconcerting to know that someone other than housekeeping had been in our room without asking our permission or notifying us. But overall, it was a good stay and we’d likely return.
- 18teodorak (2/5): The хотел system duplicated the reservations, and it took them more than two months to agree that it is their fault - I had a very disappointing experience with Holiday Inn London - Kensington High St. following a booking system error that resulted in a duplicated booking. Specifically, I made one booking for two rooms, but due to a technical issue in the hotel’s reservation system, two separate reservations were generated automatically. I was then charged for a “no-show” on the second booking, which I never made! I raised a complaint with the hotel who insisted that the mistake was on my side and did not undertake any in-depth investigation. I provided evidence clearly showing the issue was on their side but they simply stopped responding so I escalated the case to IHG Client Relations. It took two months of exchanges between them and the Holiday Inn and ultimately, IHG took it upon themselves to acknowledge the issue and refund the undue fees. In conclusion: Avoid Holiday Inn London - Kensington High St. if possible Insist as long as needed with IHG Client Relations, it may take a bit of time but they will do the right thing. IHG is generally a good brand and should not be confused with some of their rogue properties

- gizem (4/5): - Kahvaltı güzeldi-Şehre yakındı 2 oda tuttuk ancak bizi bodrum katta bulunan odalara yerleştirdiler. Odalarda yoğun bir deterjan kokusu vardı ve bu yüzden uyuyamadık. Ayrıca odalarda farklı ve rahatsız edici bir koku da mevcuttu. Odamızın değiştirilmesini talep ettik fakat yer olmadığını söylediler. Ancak 2 gün sonra yine aynı katta başka bir odaya geçiş yaptık, ne yazık ki o oda da neredeyse aynı durumdaydı. Yaşadığımız bu deneyimden dolayı çok üzgünüz.

- Giulia (9/5): Ottimo albergo! - L'albergo si trova in un bellissimo palazzo londinese, la zona è tranquilla, la metro (fermata Earl's Court) è a 5 minuti a piedi. Abbiamo alloggiato in una stanza situata al terzo piano, molto spaziosa, pulita, e con una bella finestra che dava sui tetti del quartiere. Colazione ottima e staff cortese e disponibile. Acqua a disposizione gratuitamente. Il prezzo è un pò alto ma l'albergo merita!

- Cassandra (6/5): Quite nice, but noisy! - Location close to the tube station I had specifically asked for a room on one of the upper floors. Instead I got a room on the second floor. At times I feared the guy in the room above me might come falling through the ceiling. I have two more upcoming stays (already booked) and have asked for a room on the fourth floor. Hope they will fulfil this simple request. If not, I will look for a different hotel after these next two stays.

Czysto, codziennie posprzątany pokój, kawa i herbata w pokoju, szlafroki, a nawet żelazko i kapciuszki. Do tego blisko metra w pieknej dzielnicy bez tłumów. Wszystko mi się podobało
