• Hellinabarrel (7/5): Good in some areas bad in others - They upgraded the room after a complaint about the loud air conditioning and no hot water available in my original room. The staff were friendly and helpful There was no hot water available in my room for 4 days. In fact the hot water was out for half the hotel. This was not even communicated to me Upon arrival.They did end up moving me when I complained which was good. The air conditioner in the smaller room was unbearably loud. They don’t allow you to eat outside food anywhere in the public sections of the hotel which is a deal breaker for me. Thai street food is amazing one of the main reasons I go to Thailand and you should be able to have somewhere other than your room to eat it. Here there is a rule strictly against it. Even though there are areas that could be set aside out if the way you eat street food. I found this rule to be crazy and would rethink staying again for this reason. I can understand for non hotel residents but this was just really annoying policy.

• Chrisopi (10/5): - Very clean, excellent service and accomodating to requests. Great location and safe. Mattress was very uncomfortable, however staff quickly added an extra topper which helped.

All day menu. 2nd time I've stayed here. Oh and location location location. 1 minute walk to the shopping centre and Bangla if that your thing. Plenty of everything around you for what you require!

• medu82 (7/5): Good but no sleep - The hotel is VERY close to Bangla so it's close to everything! Excellent pool area(a bit cold pool for my taste but not like in PH) Very friendly staff and especially one of the bellboys(didn't get his name) They warned when I had booked and payed already(and couldn't cancel because the cancel policy...) That it can be very loud(I knew it could be kinda loud but not this loud), I had one of the better room in the back but there had opened a new bar(1y ago they told me) just behind the hotel so it played LOUD music until 5-6am EVERY night.. So if not drunk/pass out couldn't sleep at all. But if you are out for partying everyday until 5-6am it's perfect for you! :) Also a little worn down especially the gym so could need some renevations!

• Andrew (6/5): - Location was great. Staff were great. Food was great. In general the service was excellent. The room just isn’t suitable at all. It was cheap. And you can see why. It’s desperate for a refit. The room was very dated. The bed was uncomfortable and in the bathroom there was a window fixed into the open position. This caused me an issue with mosquitoes. I had a plug in the room and used sprays and still got bit to hell. The room doesn’t have a window so it’s disorienting. The room is just pitch black all of the time. There’s also no lift. The stairway isn’t clear either. There’s filing cabinets and mattresses on some levels. Feel a bit bad about this review because I stay in Patong every year. The staff really are outstanding but the rooms really let it down. Definitely the worst room I’ve ever stayed in.

• Christian (6/5): Zur Party gut zum erholen eher nicht. - Die Lage war hervorragend, es war sauber und das Zimmer war sehr groß. Der Pool ist nett, aber zeitweise voll. Das Speiesen- und Getränkeangebot ist sehr gut. Bis ca, 6h morgens ist da keine Chance (auch mit Ohrstöpsel) an Schlaf zu denken, da darunter eine Bar mit Liveband gehörig ins Schlagzeug donnert. Aber auch intern ist es schlimm, da die Gäste ohne Rücksicht die losen Türen knallen, besoffen im Gang rumschreien und die Türen auch nicht abgedichtet sind. Es ist abgewohnt.

• Heiko (5/5): Buena ubicación y piscina, pero hotel descuidado - La zona de la piscina es agradable y el hotel está muy bien ubicado, en una zona céntrica que facilita moverse y acceder a los principales puntos de interés. Para acceder a la recepción y a las habitaciones hay que pasar por un restaurante donde otras personas están cenando, lo cual resulta incómodo. La habitación es oscura, parece una cueva y tiene olor a humedad. Da la sensación de que el hotel prioriza únicamente el beneficio económico y no invierte en mantenimiento ni en modernizar las instalaciones, a pesar de que tiene mucho potencial.

• Lever (8/5): I would stay at the Yorkshire again as the staff were friendly & the room and facilities were great - Great swimming pool and bar/relaxation area. We ate lunch there several times and the food was great. My room was clean, roomy and had all the facilities I needed. I view was onto a roof of a building, but the window (which did not open) let plenty of natural light in. The air conditioning was great as well. There was nowhere to watch the NYE fireworks, as the bar closed early on NYE and so I couldn't get a drink, and the pool area outside also was closed. I was on my own and had no view of the fireworks from my room. :(
