B456EArobertt (2/5): DO NOT GO IN GOODFELLOWS BAR TECOM DUBAI - I am absolutely disgusted at the way I have just been treated like a criminal in the Goodfellows bar in the hotel by the Bar Staff. Earlier this evening I ordered a whiskey and ginger ale. Before I had finished I asked for a Stella Artois. After finishing my Whisky I tasted the Stella. It tasted and smelled very 'off'. The bar man that had served me was not there and so I asked another member of the staff to bring me the bill and to remove the Stella which I handed back to them. I went out of the hotel for a short time and returned about 2 hours later. Following the experience with the Draft beer I asked for a bottle of Peroni. The bar man refused and said that I had not paid for the Stella from earlier. I immediately recognised he was not aware and so explained what had happened. The member of staff who I had returned the beer to earlier then became involved and explained to the barman what had happened. I then noticed the beer I had sent back was still sitting behind the bar. I asked the bar man to smell it and tell me what he thought. He agreed it was not right but still refused to serve me the bottle. I complained to the Manager who tried to clear up the matter. Both people were Indian and conversed in their own language rather than the English that is the Business Language in Dubai. I asked both to speak in English so I could follow the conversation. The Manager then told him to serve me. By this time I did not want a drink and certainly did not want to stay in either the bar or the hotel. At this point I told the barman to stick his beer and that I was disgusted how I had been treated as a criminal. Do not stay in this complete hellhole. Do yourself a favour and enjoy the beautiful city that Dubai is but do not stay anywhere that is run by this disgaceful team of unprofessionals.

Ali Jose (4/5): Bad experience - I had a bad experience honestly, the room was not very clean (the carpet was literally wet when i took the room and it was wet almost for 30 hours of my stay) , the hotel is old and need renovation, it is actually going through renovation and that really killed the experience, no pool, no sauna or steam, you hear the maintenance noise while in the room, the lobby itself is under maintenance 😅 you sit in the kobby and you find people changing the roof and wall paint you, the cafe r3sto in the kobby is not functioning also under renovation. Honestly the price was lower than average, but if they told me its going renovation and there is nonaccess to pool, i defenitly wouldn't choose to take it, ive been mislead, i believe they are obliged to explicitly say that they are going to do maintenance and its defenitly not accepted that i was not informed when i reserved a d paid online.

She refused to refund my booking because I booked on the 19th and I was trying to check in at 2 AM. Yet, I paid for a new booking on the spot for the 18th and still, was not refunded for the 19th. She promised me that the manager of the hotel will contact me to rectify the situation but, no one did. I would advise everyone not to stay at this rude hotel at all.

btgodd (2/5): not worthy it - came for a family brunch, terrible, valet is asked to pay 30aed even you dine in hotel restaurant? joke indeed, no one greets you or offer assistance when arrived, small lobby with old furnitures. dirty window, lobby toilet is a mess. never come back for sure.

The rooms are spacious with all good views and good aminities. I enjoyed the stay here. The check in was very quick and the staff were very cordial. The best part of my stay here is the good restaurants in this hotel. Had good Asian buffet for a very cheap price. Room service was good. The staff were very understanding and polite. Another best point is the super markets around this hotel which are in walkable distance. I strongly recommend this hotel.

When we phoned the front desk to ask for a few things (e.g., more coffee sachets, an extra bottle of water, etc.), they delivered almost immediately. Very well priced. Lots of places to eat within a 5 min walk. MD Nazmul was very helpful and friendly. Negative: You need to let the water run for a bit before getting hot water.

She has this warm and friendly vibe, always attentive to our needs. There's also free Karaoke. So much fun ! Definitely recommended.

Zafar (6/5): Not recommended - I have booked the king size bed but after going there they told me that we have twin bed. So I refused but the receptionist was through professional and after waiting of around 30 minutes they have given me the king size bed as I booked it in advance. The walls of the rooms are dusty and the basin was getting blocked frequently. Hotel needs to clean it properly. Other things were satisfactory. But I haven’t tried there food since I was staying outside most of the time.

I think this place was too quiet during my stay, but I'm sure if it was more crowded it will be noisier (party themed).

LUAY (2/5): Don't do it , trust me - Dirty, dirty, dirty, not suitable for family, very bad service. When we walked into the room (after it had been "prepared and sanitised") there were food crumbs on the carpet, the curtains had dark stains, the towels were old and worn out, there were several dead insects on the windowsill, the toilet was leaking, and the fridge looked too horrendous to put food in (look at the pictures!!). When we left then came back for the night, the floor had food remains from what we had eaten the night before, and the water was not re-filled. Also, the constant noise from the night club at 3 am was very annoying even though we were 9 floors above.

Chris (6/5): - I arrived in the middle of the night. I was not expecting to be placed on the 12th floor, beneath loud continuous music and bass all night long. Made it impossible to sleep/rest after a long flight. Towels and toiletries were only enough for one person to use even though, the reservation was for 2 people. Not a very well lit bathroom, the lighting needs to be adjusted better. If you’re running late expect to have an additional 5-10 mins added onto your time during check-out. Everything is verified in the room you’re checked-out and given your deposit back, which I must add was never mentioned until I checked-in. Location is decent for things to do around Emirates mall and other local attractions. A bit for for anything you want to do around Dubai mall and further up.
Rafed (8/5): Good for a short business stay - Hotel seems to be in a decent condition. Didn't have ivy issues with the service nor cleanliness. However, at check-in I had to wait for more that 20 min till a front desk personnel was available. That said, they kept apologising about the delay! It's close to some main landmarks in the area such as metro station, restaurants and groceries.

Parts of the breakfast were so cold it was like eating stone The hotel manager said as we are from England we should be used to the cold and cold water shouldn't be an issue and gave us buckets of hot water. The fire alarm had so many faults I couldn't ever expect it to keep me safe (I am a facilities manager so I know these things). There was unsafe wiring from the TV, one touch and would have been toast. I would never book here again EVER!!!!!

Deborah Joanne (10/5): Unexpected Fun... - A quick business trip that turned into a whole lot of fun. The room was ok but the staff was really good. The fun came from the great restaurant and Rock Bottom Bar that are in the bottom of the hotel. Live music, great atmosphere combined for us to have fun, a few drinks, dance and then safely go back up to our room to sleep. The local area is not all that but rated it a big smile because the local local area was such fun.
Mohammad (2/5): - Absolutely a treble hotel to stay. The worst hotel I have stayed in. The followings are a few issues. 1. Hotel Parking was full of junk and very difficult to park. 2. Bathroom's Toilet was dirty. 3. They did not have hair conditioner. I asked three times and each time I received different Shampoo or Shaver Gel. 5. Shower head support was broken, hence, shower head would not stay in position to take a shower. 6. Bed sheets and pillows were dirty and stained. 7. TV Remote Controller was broken and was not working. 8. Restaurant for breakfast was dirty. The food was not fresh. Therefore, I did not eat my breakfast there. I arrived in Dubai late and checked in the hotel late. My reservation for this hotel was for three nights. However, I moved out of the hotel next day as soon as I could. The hotel refunded me for the remaining two night. However, I think Expedia should refund me for the first night as well. Expedia should remove this hotel from their list of hotels in Dubai.

Suha (2/5): The worst place I ever stayed at - Stay away from this place my room was Filthy and the bed sheets and the towels were smelly and had cigarettes holes .to top all up we woke up to find Roaches crawling on the ceiling on top of our heads !we later found out that the hotel is infested with roaches! I had to cut my stay short and Checked out 7 nights earlier ,And when I asked to talk to the GM of the hotel he refused to meet me and him his manager offered to refund one night back or an up grade to a suite for DISCOUNTED price if I erase my photos and vedio evidence .
Sulaiman (4/5): Air conditioning +comfrability - I stayed their for six days from the second day i asked for fixing the air conditioner because it was only flowing cold air and before I leave the hotel the engineer of the hotel came to fixe. Even i asked for changing my room they said we will give you a room with two separate beds. We were so upset. The noise of this hotel is at the highest becouse of the bar and roof top activities.

John (8/5): Comfortable stay at Ramee Rose - Rooms are decent size, wifi was mostly good throughout my stay. Check-in and out was quick and efficient. Great food served at Goodfellas Bar, lasagne was very nice and burgers were good quality. Pool area could do with more loungers, otherwise a good stay.
Wassim (8/5): A hotel to recommed - 10 minutes walk from the metro station, diversity of food, very cheap restaurant inside the hotel to take dinners, very good internet connection; to summarize, everything was great except that I had every day to complain in order to put more towels.

harpreet (8/5): Decent Stay and Nice Staff - Decent Stay and Nice Staff. Room was clean and tidy and staff was good. Was provided water on first day for 13 day stay. Ideally should have given a bottle per day. There was an incident of an individual banging the door at 4am in morning but i assume some drunk individual was there.
Gayle (8/5): Located a little way out. But no problem. - Overall a nice stay, room was big, had a fridge, air-conditioning, WiFi. Was clean. Room was looking at bit tired, food not the best but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Sarino (2/5): The worst hotel experience ever. - It started with a phone call from the hotel as i was collecting my suitcase at the airport telling me that my room was given to someone else and that the hotel is fully booked (although mine was paid for in advance two weeks before). After waiting for 3 hours till around 11 pm they sent me to what was supposed to be a sister hotel with an extra star. It was by all means a falling star as I had to wait for an hour before they decided upon my insistence to give me an upgraded room asap. I went up to the room to find it was literally freezing. It seems no one has been using that suite for a long time. the pillows were of the cheapest quality and the water pressure in the shower was close to zero. The staff in both locations were trying to make things better but frankly speaking the hotel itself is after making a quick buck as the premises is full of bars and nightclubs that banged all night. Even the separating doors between the rooms is so thin that I can hear my neighbor whispering. And the parking area below was full of empty beer kegs.... what As I said they did try to make it up by offering me free breakfasts which to any standard is low and they did send me a basket of fruits. That hotel has a great location. I have never seen a shawarma stand in the reception of any hotel except at the Royal Remee where they had me stay the first night. So on a scale of one to 10, I would give this hotel a 10... on the Richter scale.
Andre (4/5): Strange place with shoddy service - Shady characters all over due to Rock Bottom being on the premises. Hotel staff were a bit rude and slow, kept changing pricing of room service and late check-out. Shower was horrible - it flooded the entire bathroom. Bed and linen a bit uncomfortable.

May (8/5): Good value for money - Tasty breakfast, friendly staff and clean room. I read the reviews about this hotel before book it and I was afraid about the noisy from the pub and bar inside the building. I got surprised then, no noise at all.
Babel (8/5): Value for money stay at Ramee Rose - 11 nights at Ramee Rose were great. Could have been greater except for the noise in the club in the hotel. Other residents made a lot of noise too in the corridor. The restaurant was great!

Tunde (8/5): Dubai first visit. - Good hotel to stay, staff were very friendly and polite. Room was spacious and clean. A supermarket is nearby about a ten minute walk. The nearest Metro station (Dubai Internet City) is about a 25 - 35 minute walk. Check-in can only be done after 2:00 so if you arrive very early like I did you will have to wait to get your room. There is free Wi-Fi for your devices (smart phones, pads, tables, laptops) however it is very slow and are only allowed connection to two devices. There is a nite club and Thai restaurant on lower floors so beware of the crowd especially if you staying over the weekend.
