- Tanya (8/5): - Rooms and corridors were clean as was the lobby. Lack of parking with the pallets taking up spots and too many electric pumps as when we were there only one was being used. Also check-in staff should remind people what time breakfast is from and when it ends as we were unable to get any due to coming down too late.

- Amanda (8/5): Convenient and perfect for an overnight stay - The breakfast was great. They were able To accommodate food allergies to a point. Staff was knowledgeable and answered all questions. You could hear all the noise from other guests. For weekends with an event going on with many guests staying, parking filled up quickly.

- Diana (5/5): Obvious staff issue… not coming back when in area. - Not much staff. Checked in. No pool :(. The 5 year old in our adult group was very upset! No reason and not posted on website:). Hair ( not ours) was in the bathroom. For the whole stay…gross….. No staff around at all except check in Sunday night and nice women in the cafe both mornings. Some Danielle?? Texted me and asked about the stay..blah blah blah… never responded to my complaint… well obviously cuz it was never cleaned!!

- Susan (7/5): Our stay was satisfactory and the facilities were clean. It didn’t live up to other Holiday Inn Expess experiences. - Clean, friendly and helpful staff, located close to stores,restaurants and downtown area. Also close to lake. The day before our arrival, pool was closed for maintenance so didn’t pack for swimming. Breakfast area was good first morning. By the second morning, there was no coffee creamer, no sweet rolls, juice was mostly water. Pancake machine was out of order the whole time. Completely understand the “smoke free” environment but there could be a bench for smokers to sit outside.

They had no butter or cream cheese for the bagels. They ran out of pancake batter. The sausage was super dried out.

- Allison (7/5): Good price and location but room needs maintenance - The breakfast was standard continental, and the coffee was better than I expected. The front desk gave me toothpaste and a toothbrush with no problem since I forgot mine. Both front desk staff were very friendly (though I went by twice and no one was visibly stationed at the front desk). My room was acceptable but it clearly needs maintenance. The toilet handle sticks, so the water would keep running until I firmly pulled up on the handle. The shower drain is backed up, and I showered in a soapy puddle. The shower curtain was fabric, so I didn't put it inside the tub, which was a big mistake because then water got all over the floor. Why not have a plastic liner instead of a fabric one?? The mattress was saggy on the right side, so I moved to the middle. Immediately when entering the room, there was a really strange smell that I couldn't place. Eventually I got used to it, but it had a chemical smell that was off-putting.

It was clean , had breakfast , very friendly staff , outside patio was great , loved the seating area inside foyer with fireplace and tv . Housekeeping staff were all super friendly also Overall , I would definitely stay there again and tell others about it .

They have a phone number for someone that can drop you off/ pick you up from venue otherwise walk if you can. Very clean and comfortable room. Nearby restaurants and breweries.

- Anthony (10/5): Charged twice for the room - There was confusion during check in and was told the card used on hotels.com was not processing and then had me give another card. Now I have 2 room charges on 2 separate cards and the hotel has been extremely unhelpful with getting this resolved despite hotels.com customer service reaching out on multiple occasions and providing photos of the dual charges. Avoid this hotel. Plenty of others close by.
- thomas (10/5): Double booked rooms - The desk clerk Amber informed me that i double booked rooms through Hotels.com for this stay. Not sure how this happened. I only intended to book one room. She instructed me to cancel one of the bookings and Holiday Inn would not charge Hotels.com for the cancelled room. Thank God Amber caught this and was able to help me out. Now i have to see if Hotels.com will refund my money.

The cooling bag you gave me literally saved my medications because it was double bag it kept it cool so much that the frozen bottle's where still frozen. It saved me because I choose really bad hotel after you guys and the worse thing no where was a frizer just a thiny one which can't do the job... I am forever grateful !!!!

- Corey (8/5): Just ok - It's ok if you're staying over for a show at CMAC. When we first arrived the room straight up smelled like a swamp. We were on the side of the building that had a marsh so the room reeked like algae and fishy swampwater. Once the air was turned on, it slowly went away. The place was surface clean but you could tell it hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. The carpets could use a good steam cleaning. Overall not a bad place to crash for a night but definitely not a place I would want to spend multiple nights in. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful and breakfast was decent.

Great front staff! - The front staff are excellent; the breakfast is usually very nice, with a decent variety of items. Coffee is good. The pool and business office are very nice. (We've stayed here numerous times- The cleaning staff does not do a thorough job (This stay, we had no shower curtain on our tub and our drains were both plugged up - maintenance did come and clear them (and then left the drain cleaner on the floor of the room). We consistently have to ask to get our trash cans emptied. Our room this time had a very, very strong smell of vinegar- I am assuming that is a deterrent for ants? - as we were also here in the spring, and our room had a problem with ants. In spring, we bought ant spray. This past trip we bought room deodorizer. And the price increase for the summer rates was quite significant!

We like the price prior to concert gouging, easy parking, multiple entries, breakfast, quiet, overall comfort, and proximity to CMAC. However, it’s slipping in quality (e.g., outlets in room weren’t snug enough to hold chargers; outside fire pit had no propane after a concert on a perfect late-summer night; pool could be cleaner and area is less than inviting; and, there should be mention of the incidentals charge).
