• Susan (6/5): - The room was very clean. When I booked the room the cost for taxes and everything was $155.00 when I get home and look at my credit card I was charged $181.00 why? Also there was suppose to be breakfast included, well I guess I was expecting to much. Cold sausage no eggs, waffles had no syrup there was no juice no coffee nor milk.. I'm not sure what a person was suppose to have for breakfast. If we stay again I hope management will try to get the problem resolved.
• thomassK9071DM (10/5): Great Front Desk Person Making my stay enjoyable. - The biggest positive of the stay was the front desk person and how nice she was. I think her name was Tara. Not sure about the spelling. She was welcoming in every way, and she made me feel welcome. She also adjusted to requests, and I cannot say how much I appreciated her focus on making my stay (and that of my athletes staying in other rooms) enjoyable and comfortable. • Kristi (7/5): It’s a good place to stay if Seward is your destination! - Didn’t have breakfast. When we checked in I couldn’t see where there was enough space to have a breakfast. The internet was incredibly slow. The back door entrance was broken (not sure how long, there was a sign on the door) and the front desk clerk still told us to go down to that door to get into the building.

• V7453WSconniew (6/5): Nice staff, Cold pool - Rooms were clean and staff was nice. However big reason to stay was so my kids could swim after being the car all day and the pool was COLD. We had to cut it short on swimming when their lips turned blue. Breakfast was small but good.

• genemT88FY (6/5): Always a good place to stay. - My son goes to Concordia and I always stay here when I visit. The only issues I had with this stay was one of the beds did not look clean. I was by myself so I just used the other bed. The curtains in the room did not close all the way and my room window back up against the church that has spot lights. had to use one of the hangers with a clip to pinch them shut.

• 206kelleyb (10/5): Wonderful experience - This was our first time traveling to Nebraska. I accompanied my daughter while she visited a friend at Concordia. The location was perfect for driving back and forth to the campus. The entire hotel was very clean, tidy and well maintained during our 4 day stay. We appreciated the all-day coffee bar, the breakfast, and the free parking. It was a delightful stay and we would stay again if we have the opportunity to visit Seward again!

But the reason I am writing the review is due to the lady at the front desk. My wife chose to have cereal. The milk was outdated and sour. When she repotted the situation, the front desk person glared at her and turned around to get more milk, and returned without an explanation or even an acknowledgment. She walked away with a scowl and her nose up. Never again will I ever stay.

However, if so, then you need to a) remove the carpet because it reeked. 2) remove the covered sofa because it reeked so bad of animal that I saw on it one time and the rest of the day I reeked of musty oder.

• August (9/5): I'd stay here again. - No problems with wi-fi. Good desk and chair; good lighting throughout the room, for working at the desk, for reading in bed, and in general. Bed comfortable: mattress sufficiently firm, pillows neither too thick and solid nor too thin and skimpy. Temperature control worked well in a Nebraska blizzard. Plenty of hot water, and ample flow from shower head. No problems with noise, either from outside or from within the motel. No complaints.

Room was clean and spacious - just missing hair dryer, but front desk provided one. Breakfast was really good with multiple hot and cold items to choose from. Would stay here again.

• 11kristil (10/5): Clean and comfy. - We arrived very late, after 1:30 am, and the guy at the front desk was there immediately to greet us and check us in. Rooms were clean and we had no issues. The beds had a hard mattress pad that I thought would be uncomfortable than it ended up being. The breakfast was free and hearty. Thank you!

We saw other Cobblestone properties on the rest of our travel, so now that we know, we'll try to book future accommodations with Cobblestone.

• MonteJ_12 (4/5): Gut Punch Customer Service! - I usually try to stay in a Cobblestone Inn whenever possible. After last nights experience never again! Room was nice enough, front desk ladies were receptive. Used the small workout room and went for a short swim in the pool which was cold and had no towels. On my way out I stopped to let the front desk know that they were out of towels and lo and behold one of the 3 or 4 ladies standing there exploded with a “so youre the one who went swimming it’s been closed for 2 years!?! Can’t you read the sign the pool is closed”! I’m like I didn’t see the sign and the door was open and there was water in the pool.. please show me where there was a sign. She refused to walk to the pool She then proceeded to berate me. I asked her name and then she asked my name said she was Regional Manager and was gonna “ ban me for life” then after we exchanged unpleasantries I hit the road. I called the corporate office and as much as they like to act like a “local small town owned chain” they are not. I’ve yet to hear back from anyone regarding my complaint. Before they do I would urge them to review the camera of the incident. I’ve seriously never been treated so rudely or aggressively in 40 years of travel. I’ll never darken their doors again if they hire people this rude and obnoxious.

• Laura (10/5): Great Stay for Concordia Family - We stay here several times a year since my daughter is at Concordia University. We had a great experience on this trip. The curtain in the room was broken and we used a hanger to keep it closed. Other than that it was a great stay.
• Aimee (6/5): - Staff was good & friendly. Room was clean but sheets are old, torn and thin. Pillows were hard and flat. Lamp shade was broken and the curtain was broken at the top. Pool was closed, when asked for how long, was told it’s been broken for years. Maybe update the site and in hotel advertising. Breakfast eggs were sitting in water. Did not eat as it didn’t look safe.
• Daniel (6/5): - Overall, I will provide an 3 out 5 STARS for this hotel. The reservation was for three rooms total. Room number one had been smoked in previously and was possibly not clean properly, room number two was in great condition didn’t see any issues. Room number three had multiple issues, including a non-functional HVAC system had to sleep with the window open. The check-in process was a little cumbersome. Lots of paperwork to fill out plus listing guests that are in the rooms plus initialing multiple locations on each checkin, plus vehicles, plus drivers licenses.

Pool is STILL closed. It was closed it June and here we are in September. It does not take months to get a pool up and running. If you are going to advertise a pool, you should have one that people can actually use.

• Laura (8/5): Return Stay - We have stayed at Cobblestone before and it was a good stay. This one was a little off. We had 2 rooms the first night b/c my daughter was with us - we were in 208 and one of the bed was broken. It sunk to the middle when we laid down. The next night we were in 119 and one of the beds was broken again. I looked under the bed and the frame on the boxsprings was broken in several places. I let the front desk know for both rooms. We requested housekeeping for the 2nd day we were there but they didn't come. I went back to the front desk to get more towels two times before they came by the day before we left. The hotel breakfast was great! The young lady at the front desk was very polite and I know she was doing many tasks - housekeeping and front desk. my daughter is attending Concorida University and so we will be back to stay and hope the stay will be better.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Would return - This place was great. Easy check-in and check-out. Not a destination hotel, but it is clean, modern, and very reasonably priced.
• Kenneth (8/5): - There was, and probably still is, a semipermanent sign on the front door stating the pool is "temporarily" closed. This seems to be a trend with hotels lately. Apparently the owners these days don't have what it takes to manage their business. Why might that be?

• Cade (10/5): - Especially for the price, this was one of the top rooms I’ve stayed in. Spacious, clean, comfortable. My only discrepancy was that the tub was creaky and felt cheap. Other than that, everything was pristine. Will absolutely stay again if I’m passing through the area.

It looks like the pool had been closed for quite awhile since there was no water in the pool and there was a permanent looking sign on the front of the hotel notifying us of the pool closure. My family was really looking forward to utilizing the pool quite a bit this weekend. Other than the pool, the hotel was very nice.

• David (4/5): Bed Uncomfortable/Pool Closed - Staff was great, clean. Scheduled pool maintenance, making the pool closed while we were there was not told to us upon booking; a pool is the reason I booked the hotel so the kids could play after a long day on the road. Intentionally not letting people know this is not right. Bed was very uncomfortable, huge dent in the bed; had to put a pillow under half of my boat to even it out.

• Kathleen (4/5): - Unfortunately the stay did not meet our expectations. The pool was closed for maintenance, the handicap room was not well suited for my elderly sisters. The beds were too high making it challenging to get in and out of bed; there was only one chair to sit in; the showerhead faced out making it difficult to shower without getting water on the tile floor which then became slippery. The tables in the eating area were sticky and the carpet needed vacuuming. The silverware was not great for cutting the waffles on the Styrofoam plates. We did like that we had a/c, we could play cards in the eating area in the evening and there was always good hot coffee available. All in all we didn't feel like we got our money's worth.
