- Larry (8/5): - We stayed in Unit one zero three , so this review is specific to that unit. The location of The Ice House condos is excellent—everything is walkable within just a few minutes, which made getting around very convenient. However, the unit itself could really use an update. The furniture feels dated, many of the wall art pieces appear to be from the 1980s or 1990s, and the balcony chairs are inexpensive plastic ones you might find at a dollar store. Unfortunately, there was also no table on the balcony, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the space—nowhere to even set down a drink. Also worth noting: there is no view from the balcony—just a view of trash bins and the backs of neighboring units. On a positive note, housekeeping was excellent. The unit was very clean and quiet. The bathrooms and kitchen were in good shape, with everything working as expected. I would consider Ice House again for a stay but would want a different unit.

Parking is covered and large enough for full size suvs. One note is that not all kitchens have an oven (but they do have everything else you would need such as microwave, cooktop, Keurig, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher). They offered us a new number only after check in. Microwave, oven and stove were not easy to use. A very small kitchen more of a kitchenette. Staff was friendly and the location is very good. Close to gondola

We were told to crank a window which was impossible seeing the window didnt open. Very uncomfortable at night. - Amy (10/5): Great place to stay - The location was NOT SKI IN/SKI OUT as advertised. There was however use of a second class ski valet at the base of the gondola outside the Camel Hotel. Still the location was greats about 3 short blocks to the gondola. Telluride is super small so we were close to everything. Telluride has more bars and restaurants whole Mt Village is more lodging.

The gondola was practically right next door and it’s free to ride. Even though there is no air conditioning we did not need it. The nights were very cool. Beautiful view and listening to the sound of the stream was comforting especially at bedtime.

- Carol (10/5): Ice House Rave - The perfect Telluride location for an active couple. You can literally walk everywhere in both towns as the hotel is 100 yards from the gondola. Numerous hiking trails are walking distance from the room, which is amazingly comfortable and well appointed. A mini suite set-up with full compact kitchen and a separate half bath. An awesome luxury. Will be back as soon as possible. Phoenix will be 110+ for the next 2 months, so hoping “possible” comes quickly!!!

- Jesse (8/5): - This was a great option for our family of 4 for an overnight stay for swim meet. Property in ideal location, above par amenities (pool, hot tub, steam room, waterfront, storage availability, common areas,etc. ). We chose this place due to the ability to have a full kitchen. Unfortunately, we were unable to get the oven/micro oven to work, but the stove top met our needs. Unavoidable downside was late night noise, round 1 ~10pm, round 2 ~12pm, and round 3 ~3am. Birds started at 4:30. Beautiful location and above par amenities, but busy night life location.

- Seth (10/5): - Highly recommend! Location is perfect: 1. It’s right next to the river which is lovely to walk along and listen to at night, 2. Perfect walking distance to food, shopping, bike rentals, park, and one of the gondola stations, 3. Parking is included and covered, and 4. The property is nestled perfectly away from the Main Street so it is quiet and provides the most lovely views. Property is clean and accommodating. Pool, hot tub, and steam room were clean and has the best views to admire while relaxing. We’re already planning our return trip to Telluride (which is dreamy) and without hesitation would stay at The Ice House again.
- Jo-Dee (8/5): Convenient…but some plumbing issues - Great location in Telluride. A little older property, but everything you need such as restaurants, popular bars, grocery store, shopping, ski rentals, location to the gondola and most importantly coffee is within a block or two—really can’t beat the location. The staff was always available and accommodating and the cleaning service was top notch! The only issue we had was the continuous plugging of the toilets and broken bathtub water faucet handle. We made due, fixed it ourselves and notified the management. We will likely stay there again when visiting Telluride for a long weekend.

- Emma (2/5): Not a great experience - will stay else where next - Everyday my Mother who was staying on this reservation had to go and get a new key made up an icy block away..she is 75, as the key did not last longer than a day (not next to phones or other cards). The room was never cleaned, sheets never changed in 10 days...no coffee, nothing in the lobby. They used to have coffee in the lobby, now nothing. Very little service from the front desk, almost non-existant, wont be back!

- Mary (8/5): - The good: the location was great and the staff was very friendly. The place was clean. The not so great: there was a light outside shining all night in the bedroom window (we put a pan over it each night after the first), the kitchenware was quite lacking (all the Teflon was scraped and coming off the pans), there was no real coffee table or ottoman in front of the sofa so it was not very comfortable to sit and watch TV, the temperature was very hard to get right - it was really hot, much hotter than the thermostat indicated, so we'd turn it down to 60 and wake up freezing, there were a lot of pillows but they were all cheap polyfill so quite uncomfortable, and the unit had a tile floor that was very slippery when you entered wearing ski boots. We would stay at Ice House again but probably not the unit we were in.

The room is spotless, extremely clean, and smells so fresh. We can’t find any flaws whatsoever. The kitchen is top notch. In fact, all the appliances, furnitures, bedding, EVERYTHING is top notch!! All the staff are also very courteous and helpful. We will DEFINITELY come back! :-)

- ROBERTA (10/5): Excellent again… - Our 2nd time here. At this point, I don’t think we would try anyplace else. Rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Location is superb and parking is perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again!

- Wendy (4/5): - I loved hearing the flowing river outside our balcony and the happy birds chirping each morning. I did not like the way I was greeted at the front desk when I checked in. I got an attitude that I was a bother. Not friendly or welcoming in any way. And I did not like that we did not have hot water on Friday night for showers. No hot water on Sunday morning for showers (we forgo them on this morning) and now it’s Sunday morning, no hot water. We are waiting for the maintenance man to get here here apparently. I did not like that we were told that the front desk is manned 24/7 and yet it took me 45 minutes of calling this morning to report (no answer at the front desk) the lack of hot water again. Hot water is a basic amenity in any hotel but to pay this price for this property and have continued problems - was really disappointing.
- Nina (8/5): - Our suite at the Ice House was spacious and clean; the kitchen was well-appointed. The bathroom faucets did not work well, however, because they had not been installed properly. This detracted from our overall experience of the place.

- Nancy (10/5): - The building was centrally located to everything. SHort walk to the Gondola. Cleaned daily. Hot tub could have been hotter, but had a sauna which was a bonus.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Totally satisfied - Our stay was incredibly comfortable at Ice House, located just one block away from the slopes. We stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom condo and spent a lot of quality time together as a family. The condo appeared to have recently undergone renovation, as both the kitchen and bathrooms were newly equipped and convenient. However, it would have been useful to include the hotel name in the check-in description. Additionally, while we were able to figure it out the next day, an explanation of the heating system would have made our room more comfortable more quickly.

- Rachel (8/5): Great Location and lots of space! sewer smell - The condo was in a perfect location, the hot tub and steamroom were great! Walking distance to Gondola and town everything very close. The room had a horrible sewer smell unfortunately. They sent maintence to clean the drains but the smell came back the next day. Unit 202 awful sewer smell, FYI. Everything else was ok. A little dirty but beds, kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. We found a cheeto and a dirty cottonball on the floor near the pullout sofa when we arrived.

- Gary (10/5): - The location of the property was great for skiing, shopping, and dining. Never had to use the care. If the communication was better and a bit more of a cheery helpful attitiude by check clerk would had made this experience even better as far as check-in.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely but Need Hot Water - Great place except that there is no hot water in any of the sink faucets. Barely lukewarm. Not enjoyable for washing your face. They clearly have it set very low. Shower was fine.
- Holly (6/5): - The property was okay. Check in is at another location, we drove around and around looking for it. I finally had to call to tell the desk person we could not find it. I could not spot a sign or number anywhere! The desk person informed me there was a sign so after a few more laps around the block, I finally found it - only to discover yes there is a sign but they had hung an XMAS wreath over it so it was totally obscured. The parking garage is super tight and limited spaces but we made it work. The room did not have any supplies restocked. They had empty shampoo and body wash in the shower. The bunk bed was not usable, the temperature on the top bunk was like a sauna, had to be in the 90's. The handyman just told us to open the window, which would have worked wonders if the window had been located in the alcove the bunk bed was in. The window by the bunk does not open, so opening the window in the winter when it is -10 outside only managed to freeze the main living area, but had little effect on the alcove where the bunk is located. They need to upgrade the window to at least be able to crack it open in this space, or provide a fan to move the air around. We had to pull the mattress off the top bunk and put it in the living room to give a space for our kiddo to sleep. The dishwasher was not emptied for us, not sure if the dishes were clean or not in there. There are no updates to the room such as USB ports for charging. It was nice having a small kitchen and 1 1/2 bathrooms
- Steven (10/5): Great Snowboard Trip - We had a great time at Ice House, very convenient, so close to everything, loved the spa after long days on the mountain. Employees were very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again room was great, if I had 1 complaint it would be the mattress wasn't very comfortable had a noticable divit in the middle but other then that it was great!
- Karen (10/5): - Our 2 bedroom Penthouse condo was beautiful, modern and clean. The building is one block from the Free Gondola and very close to many great restaurants and the market. It’s in the perfect location!

- Melissa (8/5): - Great location, very close to the gondola and city center and plenty of restaurants and shopping. The parking garage was very tight and small. We have a truck so that is part of the tightness, however if it had been more full there is no way we could have fit in a parking spot. Also, the room we stayed in had a sewage smell to it. We figured it's because water hadnt run through the pipes enoug,but it still smelled on the last day. Other than that, it was very clean and a great place to stay!
- Barbara (10/5): Telluride Luxury - The Ice House is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Our suite had a full bath and a powder room! The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed, pillow, bedding, couch, everything was fabulous! It was a block to the gondola, 2 blocks from Colorado Ave and all the restaurants. Loved it! Will stay here again!

There’s a steam room, pool & hot tub. The free gondola is only a block away which is so great! There’s a market down the street. Wonderful location & rooms were clean, quiet & comfortable. Highly recommend!
