Meiaad (1/5): Bad experience - View from the balcony and the spa The only one good thing about this hotel is the spa and massage practioners. Otherwise, this was the worst hotel experience in my whole life...and would never comeback or recommend it... The worst thing was some of the receptionists who was scamming us for money ...many events, but here are some as examples...when we wanted to pay for the second night, a receptionist tried to make us pay much more than original price, so we wanted to downgrade our room to a cheaper one, before he agreed to let us pay the same amount we paid for the first night and stay in the same room. Also, we tried several cards to pay for accommodation and services but their machines did not work, so we had to go to ATM to withdraw the amount of money ...we counted it many times and was very sure of the amount, but when we gave it to one of the receptionists, who counted some of it under the counter, he insisted that the amount is not full and forcing us to pay again the missing money....and also there are other events when they tried to make us pay more money. This is not the only thing that bothered us here.. -also it was summer time and hot weather but no AC. The bathroom smelled pee. The water in the bathroom was not clear and yellowish and whitish in colour. -When we wanted to go to bed, we found dirty used wet tissues on the bed under the covers. -The swimming pool was under maintinance so we could not use. -The most disturbing hotel as they keep knocking our door many times a day offering different services.... we put the sign for not disturbing on our door ...but they kept calling us on the phone for different issues...like asking us to checkout 3 different times after 1st night although we already paid for the 2nd night at arrival , they also massage and call us on whats app which was very disturrbing. -Also, the place is not suitable for disabled or wheelchair users. There is no elevator. and is very difficult to walk to.

Deepak (10/5): Exceptional Hospitality and Stunning Views at The Khyber - My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Khyber, and we were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional hospitality and myriad offerings of this remarkable property. This opulent property is located in a beautiful natural setting, with stunning views of the Himalayas and gardens in proximity of the property. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The highlight of our stay was the care that we received from every member of staff that we came across. They were all very warm and spared no effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible! Special mention must be made of Duty Manager Irfan Hussain, who delivered an exceptional level of service and significantly enhanced our overall experience. He was ably supported by his diligent team, who took great care in attending to our needs. In summary, The Khyber surpassed our expectations in every aspect, and my family and I were absolutely delighted with our stay. The Khyber exemplifies hospitality at its finest, and we highly recommend it.

Cyrus (10/5): Best place to stay in Gulmarg. - The location, staff and ambience were top of the line. Pricey as expected, but otherwise, everything you could ask for. The food at Brava, The Italian restaurant was superb. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and fabulous too. All the staff were awesome and always happy to oblige for even the smallest request. Totally recommended. Best place to stay in Gulmarg! The prices were 5 star. A half board package would be nice. Otherwise, nothing to dislike.

The non veg items in the dinner buffet were very limited and the price very high. While the breakfast was fantastic, other meals quality seemed average overall.
