• Sam (7/5): Great value - The location is excellent as it is central, next to the canal yet not far from the station which can. Room is clean and the beds are nice. Excellent value. The room is small, above a pub and could get very warm during the summer.

• Steven (1/5): I couldn’t stay. - No option to organise my key pick up after 6pm. I was asked to provide ID before the code was released. This had to be done by 6pm as that was when the reception closed. As I was a long way from home I didn’t have my passport or driving license.

• Boachie (8/5): it was would have been great if not for the creaking floors which made sleep almost impossible - I loved the location and the entire apartment. the floors in my hotel flat was creaking when you step on it which made it every uncomfortable to sleep at night

• Aditya (1/5): Never promote this fraud application and this worst base apartment - Never book though this application and the base apartment, both are worse , i booked an apartment for me and my wife for 7 day and what we got a tiny room which doesn’t have any wardrobe, its really hard to squeeze in that room its just like a tiny single room with a double bed , we cant even move there, we contact the booking.com and base apartment what they told us that they gonna upgrade us or refund and they sent us an email as well we wait for them to transfer until evening and we didn’t get any response from them, they just hanging up the call without any proper response, its really rude and make us more frustrated, we contacted them again and again hardly 15 times in a day. Finally they gave us a solution that we need to adjust to cancel our booking and find something else without any refund, once we contact booking.com they said we need to talk to the property manger and find a solution and what the property manager told us we need to contact booking.com, its was really hard for us to contact them they just flipping us one to another without give any kind of solution or proper response, i never suggest this kind of fraud application and such a ridiculous apartment agency

• Bethany (5/5): Nice stay overall just a few things that need to be done to keep it clean bedding on sofa bed needs to be swapped out as - It was a nice apartment not as big as it looked on the pictures Mould on the sofa bed, the bedroom door doesn’t stay open even if you use the door stop. Bath was dirty so was unable to use it rinsed it down with shower. Generally my stay was good there was a few things that let it down

• Debi (5/5): - The room was comfy. Location was great. It wasn't difficult to locate the property. The doorknob on the main entrance was broken. It took multiple attempts to gain entry to the property. When I called the contact provided, they weren't aware of the issue with the main entrance.

Bed has to be the most uncomfortable bed ever. No sleep!! Cracked tiles on floor. Few dark hairs in bathroom. No hand towel Apartment could do with a makeover. Curtains very creased and didn’t close and couldn’t work out how to open sofa bed to use

• David (7/5): Good value for a simple room which is what we needed. - Handy location and easy access for self-check in with really clear instructions. Much smaller room than anticipated, with some attention to detail lacking in terms of cleanliness and upkeep of the room - particularly the bathroom with cracked/split skirting boards and rusted towel rail.

• Hayley (3/5): Ok - Location was good The pictures on the booking app were a far cry from the actual room. Very small. The entrance hall and stairs up to the rooms were in poor condition and was like a house share
• Jessica (6/5): Ok overall - Great location - everything within walking distance. Well equipped for a 2 night stay. Good shower. Overall a decent stay for our weekend given we hardly used the apartment. Beds were uncomfortable. It was BOILING even in December. One of the bedrooms has no window - we had to prop open doors and open windows to allow airflow during the day. It’s a little run down inside and the sofa was also uncomfortable. Although communication was decent (when I contacted them), it was confusing on check in. I’ve never had it where I needed to ring on the day, nor a £100 deposit in Chester. Nonetheless, it was a decent stay for our weekend.
• Georgina (3/5): Room was very small and I mean small pictures were not shown about the full extent to the size of the room the bed was - The property was a very short walk away from the Chester town centre and the train station I was shocked at the fact that we had to pay a deposit, even though we had paid in full for the room, the customer service were very polite and things were explained very well

• Sophie (3/5): Extremely loud music below - Property was clean, modern bathroom and kitchen, comfy beds The two bedroom apartment is situated right above the pub downstairs. Although the pub advertises a 12:30am closing time on Thursdays their license is until 1:30am as confirmed with the pub manager. Loud music didn't stop until 2:10am which meant we struggled to sleep. Can imagine this would be the same for any other evening when it is busy the pub will extend opening times and continue with loud music
• Ruthanna (9/5): Really good value clean apartment - Great location, not far from train station and short walk in to centre. We only stayed one night but apartment had everything we needed. Nothing at all, but lots of stairs which can be an issue for some.

Location Quiet room Warm Comfy bed Big, fluffy towels Shower curtain too short, water went everywhere when having a shower. Pillows have seen better days and could do with being replaced. Cobwebs round ceilings in bedroom and bathroom but rest of place was spotlessly clean

A decently sized apartment for 2 people. Great shower and plenty of hot water, well heated. It was clean. Complimentary tea/coffee/milk/biscuits/shower gel a nice touch. Very noisy, other guests partying until 5am Sunday morning, didn’t get much rest. Very uncomfortable sofa to sit on. WiFi was poor.

• David (5/5): Great location , comfy room , just has the feel of being a little unsafe - Location is superb , short walk into the city , very near the station . Bed was comfy . Room was warm , shower was great Although actually the place was quiet and comfy . When I arrived I was a bit worried . The communal areas are tatty and my room door showed signs of having previously been kicked in or forced open . The room opposite was the same . There was no safe and so I felt I couldn’t leave anything valuable in the room. And took everything out with me . It’s a shame because these rooms are warm and comfy .

• CHRIS (1/5): terrible, when i raised the issues with the company they just ignored me and so i will report them - Location was only positive Fire alarm sounded at 10.30pm and when i called helpline he answered what do you expect me to do as I'm in Liverpool i was told just silence the alarm as it probably won't be a fire, if you smell burning or smoke then get out. I advised them i would not just silence the alarm as it could be a fire and should be checked properly not just ignored

• Thomas (6/5): - Great location, very clean and tidy, everything you need for a basic stay Thermostat was outside room, apartment heats up very quickly because its small so id go out and turn down the Thermostat, then it'd feel really hot again and someone else had turned up the Thermostat, so there was a bit of different people turning up and down a lot. Also no window in the bedroom and the heavy door closes its self meaning the bedroom gets quite hot and stuffy. Tv only has freeview, would of been nice if it had smart tv. Another service user was playing really loud music quite late into the night.

• David (8/5): Value for money at a great location for rail travellers - Location, tidy, well planned facilities. That I had to pay a £100 security deposit, taken from my account before I arrived, and should be returned within a few days after my stay, as long as the apartment was in a good state and that I hadn’t smoked in the property. This is not mentioned when you book, only when you contact the owner on the day you arrive. I have never had to do this with any other booking.com property I have stayed at.
