Guest Reviews
- Gregory (10/5): - Clean room staff was awesome easy to find very business friendly food close buy easy in and out
- Lisa (8/5): - Could hear next doors loud tv.
- Deanna (10/5): - Clean and Quiet! I had a great stay. Will be back!
- Gary (6/5): - The property was very dated, tucked behind a truckstop, with poor blinds to keep out the light from said truckstop. No fridge, and NO ELEVATOR!!!! The bed was great as was the water pressure, and the place was very clean, but it was very hard to read the terms for the wifi.
- Dean (10/5): - Everything was awesome!
- Matthew (10/5): - Great roadside stop. Everything you need for the night, all in one place. Don’t forget about the attached trucker restaurant for a meal before bedtime!
- Anthony (2/5): - It is a truck stop! The general manager Don Lehman is AMAZING! I do feel like a bait and switch though. The pictures online aren't even close to what it looks like in real life. I wasn't able to stay there with my wife. Chose it because it was a Wyndham property. As a rewards member I am beyond disappointed. Reserved 3 nights but didn't stay 1. Cancelled as soon as I got there.
- laura (10/5): - Travelodge by Wyndham in Hubbard Ohio was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed at.
When we pulled into the parking lot, after dark,we were skeptical. Not sure if the Travelodge sign was suppose to be lit up but the area around the hotel was very dark! The parking area and entrance didn’t have any security lights
The hotel sits back a ways from the road and it was pretty dark. Not welcoming in that respect.
Other then that, the inside of the hotel was super clean. The hallway, carpeting, side rails, etc….were clean. Our room was surprisingly clean, right down to the corners in the bathroom!!
You RARELY SEE such attention to detail. The hotel smelled pleasant also.
Both front desk associates (coming and going) were very friendly and helpful.
We found ourselves in Hubbard Ohio, by accident. I thought I had booked a hotel closer to our venue.
Even though we probably would not find ourselves in Hubbard again, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through. Very pleasant stay! ❤️🇺🇸👍
- Carmel (8/5): - Clean affordable room.
- Michael (4/5): - The room smelled of urine.
- Tyler (10/5): A nice stay - Check in was easy and they were very friendly. Bed was comfier than other hotels I’ve stayed at but blankets were a little too thin for my liking. There were some weird stains that looked like mold between the beds near the floor but overall a pleasant stay.
- beverly (8/5): - It was all that I expected
- Andrew (8/5): - Clean linen
- Colby (6/5): - Coffee machine in room didn't work, alarm clock didn't even have plugs near it (it was also unplugged.) Room seemed like it was just thrown together within the month.
- Mark (8/5): Nice little quiet place to stay - The location was great for travelers, as we were, conveniently close to gas stations, coffee shops & restaurants.
- Laura (10/5): - Room very clean. Evening staff very quick to resolve difficulties and respond to questions. Rooms a little outdated but since clean, convenient, and staff kind and helpful this is a great place to stay.
- Mark (10/5): Our recent stays - The staff is service oriented; the room was clean and comfortable but in need of some minor improvements. We stayed in two different rooms on two different dates and both had a door which needed to be replaced due to the wood splitting at the bottom of the door.
- scott (6/5): Skip It - I don’t know how this place got its high rating. It’s right next to a truck stop and appears to be a low cost place for truckers to stay. Saw some walking from the truck stop into the hotel.
The check in was easy but the carpets really, really, need a cleaning on the stairs and the hallways. The room itself was clean but very dated. There was some black mold around the bathtub where the caulk pulled away.
We heard the next room flush their toilet, this hotel has those power flush toilets. Also heard someone else taking a shower. Thin walls? Where is the?
I would think Wyndham Hotels would take their name off this property.
We would not use this hotel again.
- Maryanne (6/5): - Comfortable bed. Only stayed one night. Room and property itself needs to be refurbished. Hotel is hard to find. I wouldn't stay here again.
- KEITH (10/5): - Very accommodating.
- Vyacheslav (4/5): - No breakfast, bad internet
- Diane (10/5): Cleanliness - The overall cleanliness was good. I check sheets when I first arrived to look for any unclean environment. Everything was great.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very nice staff, free parking, easy check in and check out. My first room smelled horrible, but then they had no issues moving me to a different room, again, very nice staff. The wall is paper thin, I had a family staying next door and the kids were constantly jumping and screaming. The parents were playing loud tvs, and I could hear the entire conversation word by word. I couldn’t sleep until midnight bc of the noise. No breakfast available on-site.
- Laura (10/5): - The property is outdated, but it was incredibly clean and the staff was very kind. I arrived late in the evening and the man at the front desk greeted me kindly and had everything ready to go for me. The hotel is hard to find, but luckily I had read the reviews that it’s behind the Dunkin. I appreciated having the Dunkin so close. Hotel is close to the highway so very easy to get on and off for travelers.
- Fahad (10/5): - Overall a nice quiet place to stay while traveling.
- Mary (2/5): - No breakfast as advertised. Moldy smell to room
- Laura (10/5): Great service - Forwarned hotel that i wouldnt be arriving until 2AM. When i arrived, they had my paperwork already for me to just sign and gave me the closest room. Very friendly and super fast. Great after a long drive.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a truck stop type hotel. Basic amenities. Stain on bathroom ceiling. No in room frig, no pool. Were offered 3 choices for “ free” breakfast at the restaurant next .
- Sherri (4/5): - You can definitely tell this is an old hotel by the smell.
We checked in Tuesday and checked out Sunday. They never came to change the towels, remove trash or clean anything. I even asked the front desk Friday morning if they would change the towels and they still didn’t. The beds are very hard and they only have the thin blankets that are scratchy from the hot dryers.
The breakfast isn’t in the hotel I think it’s next door at the restaurant. There’s also a bar that had a patio and the people seem to hang out there most days late into the night.
The plus is there’s a Dunkin’ Donuts right in the parking lot so you can go get some breakfast and coffee.
- Janet (6/5): - Never stayed at a Travelodge before and didn’t know what to expect. I based my decision on the reviews. However, I thought it provided amenities in the room, like any other hotel. Ex. Ironing board and iron, phone to call the front desk. These were not available in the room.
Our tub had a very slow drain. Maintenance was not available at night. So, the front desk gave us drain solution to unclog our own drain. The solution worked because, the next day the drain was unclogged.
Going forward, I have to pay attention if Lodge is used when lookup hotels, I guess!
It could have been worse.
- Marcia (10/5): - All good!
- Maureen (4/5): - Carpets dirty , loose toilet seat dirty shower head
- Vaibhav (6/5): - Okay
- David (8/5): Good find - Better than expected for cheap one-night stopover. Very clean tho a bit dated, everything worked. Kept drapes closed as we were 1st floor near the entrance, with frequent foot traffic. Some might prefer 2nd floor for more privacy (no elevator). No breakfast included but coffee in lobby all morning. Adjoining restaurant has decent breakfast, good pricing. Front desk agent (tall woman) was welcoming & efficient. Would stay again!
- Gene (2/5): - I am not sure how the rooms are. I am not sure how clean the rooms are. And the reason I am not sure is because my confirmed reservation resulted in not getting a room. The lady behind the desk said, "Sorry" and that was it. Didn't offer to find a different room. Luckily, I got the last one at a different motel. So go ahead and roll the dice on this place.
- Brenda (10/5): Quiet, clean and comfortable with great staff - This is an older hotel but it is clean and the staff is great. I stay when visiting my family so just need a place to sleep. I’ve been using this hotel for years and I see the same staff year after year which says a lot about management.
- Ruth (2/5): - Just lost a loyal customer.
- Janneane (8/5): - Decorating could use an update
- Cathlene (8/5): - They advertisd breakfast included-it is over in the restaurant. But they forgot to give us the voucher, then when we got it, ordered one of 3 choices with coffee & tea. The waitress didnt tell us there was a charge ($3.29) for tes but not coffee. ????? A bit rich for hot water and a tea bag!!!! The food was adequate.
- Ishai (8/5): - Not bad for the price you pay. Friendly environment
- Elisse (8/5): - Great deal for the money. I would stay there again.
- Danielle (10/5): - The staff was kind, knowledgeable and hard working. Room was nice. Liked the hot chocolate by the front desk.
- Cynthia (6/5): - They had free breakfast. But to get it you had to go into a restaurant and sit down.. Did not allow take out. We had our little dog with us, we missed out. We had to pay for breakfast. Which wasn't planned. The Internet said Free breakfast.!!!!!
- Timothy (10/5): - When we pulled up we felt we had made a mistake of booking. But once inside we were impressed that it was clean, comfortable and quiet. They offer free breakfast at the Globe restaurant. Or you can order from the menu.
- beth (10/5): - Excellent front desk. Changed my room to a first floor room because there is no elevator and I have difficulty with steps
- Jennifer (10/5): - Front staff at check in was very friendly and accommodating. He offered a late check out for us because we only checked in at 3:30am. The only downside is that there isn't an elevator but that was posted on the website before we booked the room. Bedding was clean and it was an easy check out. Definitely worth the price we paid.
- Joshua (10/5): - The room had the cleanest air I think I've ever had in a motel. Everything else was great.
The free breakfast voucher was a huge standout (free bacon eggs and toast) they have a neighboring restaurant that serves a full menu. It's not just cheap cereal and sub-par fruit choices.
Very friendly staff.
- Ben (6/5): - Expedia gave me two queen beds, when I paid for a king
- Thomas (8/5): Good one night stay - The hotel is older but well maintained with some upgrades. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Very accessible from interstate. We arrived at ten PM and left at 7AM and it was a good place to get a good nights sleep while traveling
- Leslie (10/5): - Overnight stay. Clean. Quiet. Staff very helpful. Option for breakfast at attached diner was nice but did not include drink.
- Cynthia (6/5): - It was convenient and staff was friendly and helpful.
- Tina (8/5): - The staff were very friendly and professional and the check in and check out were both done quickly and efficiently. The place was clean and comfortable for the most part but is starting to look a little worn and could use some updating.
- Michael (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Excellent spot for truck drivers to spend a night out of the truck. Clean affordable rooms. Free breakfast included. Excellent WiFi. Great value for your money.
- Natasha (10/5): Good job - The rooms are amazing they are clean. No stains on sheets floors were clean as well the room it was quiet and peaceful I would recommend staying here.
- Douglas (10/5): - clean, quiet and comfortable for a reasonable price
- Rachel (4/5): - Pros: Bed wasn’t the worst I’ve ever been on, cheap, and no bed bugs.
Cons: Dirty, uncomfortable, super out of date, bad water pressure, no elevator.
Laying in bed next to my man felt like we were virgin Mormons getting into bed for the first time. Atmosphere was uncomfortable.
- Amanda (2/5): - After reading reviews, I decided to book this hotel as most of the reviews were remarkable. However, I can not say the same. This hotel room was probably one of the worst I have stayed in. The beds were horrible. Might as well slept on the floor. Wallpaper was missing on the walls, trim and molding was missing, the pillows on the bed had an odor, there was a build up of dust in the vents which irritated my allergies along with the odor on the pillows. They gave a sheet and extrememly thin fleece like blanket as the main blanket, the lamps worked sometimes, the shampoo didnt lather which in return did not clean the hair well, the carpet looked dirty and the door got stuck on the carpet when entering.
I am sure there was more but this it least gives an idea of what to expect.
- Tim (10/5): - Perfect for an overnight stop along the highway.
- Holly (10/5): Clean and Great Location - I have stayed here about a dozen times for work. It shows that management prioritizes cleanliness for the rooms and are detail-oriented as I have always been impressed with the floors and surfaces. I LOVE the location as it is conjoined to a mini-mall that includes a cute Irish-themed pub, very nice restaurant, and a 24-hr convenience store. It also shares a parking lot with a gas station and 24-hr Dunkin Donuts! Parking is free and conveniently situated around the L-shaped building so I have always been able to view my car from my window. I have encountered at least three different front desk personnel and they have always been readily available, no matter the time of night, and have always provided the friendliest service. Lastly, I appreciate the seasonal decorations in the lobby area and think they add a nice touch to making the place warm and inviting.
- Julian (2/5): - Was okay, room was dirty.
- Kyle (10/5): - Good spot would come again
- Stacy (2/5): - We had toilet paper stuck in holes in our room and door
- Caden (10/5): Really nice rooms - Looks can be deceiving! This hotel is located behind a dunkin donuts and truck stop mini mall and looks rather plain and small. However, this was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in our travels. The staff was so welcoming and rooms were spotless. It was recently renovated so the room was laid out nicely and was fresh looking. The bed and bedding were super comfortable—no lumps or bumps! Breakfast is free at trucker mall restaurant next door and the portions were huge! The rooms were half the price of bigger chain hotels nearby and I was a little nervous, but best decision we made on the whole trip!
- Douglas (10/5): - Very clean rooms, comfortable bed what more could you ask for in this price range
- Peng Wei (10/5): - Everything looks good.
- Xiaodong (8/5): - Clean and big enough
- JULIE (10/5): - Very friendly staff. We had a nice experience.
- sukh (10/5): - Affordable place with very clean rooms. We stayed with two kids under 3 and 2 very convenient and comfortable.
- Melissa (8/5): - We arrived late but the clerk had everything ready for me and it was a very fast check-in. We were given a room on the ground floor next to the emergency exit. It was quiet until people started using the emergency exit in the morning. The door doesn't open all the way so when someone tries to open it the entire wall shakes and you can hear metal and concrete grinding.
The room was spacious and was thoroughly cleaned. The bed was comfy and I slept well until the door fiasco.
I would stay again, just not near that exit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - You can't judge a book by its cover. This place was wonderful, comfortable, accommodating. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good. The gal who ran the show was amazing.
- Cynthia (10/5): - The facility was clean and the staff helpful. I hadn't realized that the room I was in didn't have a refrigerator, but the staff kindly allowed me a place to store items overnight.
- Jack (10/5): Happy - A nice hotel, clean and comfortable.
- Pheonix (10/5): - comfy beds great staff
- Dianne (8/5): - The price was good and stay was fine. The property could use some updating - rugs old, no comforter on bed, lightbulbs burned out in bathroom and other lamps. It was adequate.
- Jennifer (10/5): Night Away Together! - My Husband And I Came For A Night Away Together For Our 28th Year Wedding Anniversary! Everything Was Good And We Relaxed Together Perfectly! Thank You!
- Mary (10/5): - Convenient location. Not a large facility,
but comfortable and accommodating. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Needs major remodel!! - The smell as you walk in was overwhelming including the room, also smelled like room was smoked in. The bathroom had mold around the tub, on the ceiling, the shower head wasn’t clean at all, was gross. Place gave me headache when I was there. Will not stay there again for sure! Needs a remodel done there!
- Peter (6/5): Basic comfortable bed! - I needed a quick place to crash after a long day of talking with clients, and the Price was right and the bed was comfortable!! Very basic!
- James (8/5): - Close to the business I was working at over the weekend.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Check in troubles - I didn't actually stay. Their internet connection was down which took down their registration system so they couldn't check me in. I waited an hour and a half (until 7:30 PM) but didn't want to risk not having a room for the night so I booked one with another nearby hotel. I will give credit to the front desk person (Michelle, I believe) who kept me frequently updated on the status and cancelled my reservation for me when their system finally did come up. I have stayed here several times in the past couple of years and was satisfied with the experience each time. So, I will consider using them again if I am passing through the area in the future.
- Raj (4/5): - There are not barkfast and
- Pheonix (10/5): - always a treat to stay here. love the staff love the beds love everything
- Chiewhui (10/5): - Comfortable n quiet room with convenient n good restaurant next door for dinner n breakfast
- Aaron (6/5): - The staff was great! Found a few cans of unopened beer in the fridge though from the previous customer? If not, that’s a great way to welcome guests!
- Shawna (10/5): - Surprisingly comfortable & quiet
- Edwin (6/5): - It's part of a truck shop.
- Attila (8/5): - Property is getting tired. Could use some renovations and a facelift.
- Paul (10/5): - Good value. Could use a microwave & frig in the room. Other than that it was a great place.
- Eric (8/5): - Smelled bad.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Very good stay
- Brandy (8/5): - The only con about the place is the room I stayed in having no fridge. Other than that it’s a good place to stay. It’s tucked away from traffic and quiet. My room was clean and they staff very friendly. I would stay again.
- Larry (10/5): - Our room was great! very comfortable, clean and boy, oh boy, that decor!! Dark blue alligator skin wallpaper in the hallway, lighting fixtures that were imported from the '70s! All in excellent condition, and very clean. Staff was friendly as well. We would definitely stay again.
- Noah (10/5): - The property is a bit long in the tooth but clean, convenient, easy parking, and safe. What qualities 5 star is the excellent staff. They will make you stay like home
I was there for work total of 58 days. Left feeling like I have a family in Hubbard OH! Will definitely stay there again!
- Eric (10/5): - Nice and the hotel connected to the hotel is a big plus.Yoy got everything you need right here. The front desk personnel was great
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There was not an elevator, which is much needed for those with disabilities & just for not having to lug luggage up 2 flights.
There is not a microwave or fridge. It is a very simple, no frills room.
- Robert (8/5): - Adequate at this price point; older but with nice update.
Towels a bit worn, grey-ish - ought to be replaced with new.
Staff polite, helpful.
- Adam (2/5): - Cheap bedding, no fridge or microwave, felt dirty and overall not a good experience, too pricey for a night, in this condition.
- Eleanor (6/5): Good for an overnight - Room was pretty spacious and more modern but no refrigerator, microwave or breakfast buffet. The hotel was a bit hard to find as it is tucked behind a larger building.
- Carol (8/5): - Well thought out room. Clean.
- Natalie (4/5): - I was very disappointed with the cleanliness, or lack thereof, of my room. We had a pill left on the cups near the ice bucket and the bathtub looked so dirty, we didn't even bathe while we were there because it was so disgusting. In addition, every time we flushed the toilet, there was a loud noise that came from the bathroom pipes. It was a very disappointing reservation.
