- Gloria (7/5): - We booked and stayed for 1 night and we were told a few weeks beforehand that we got a free upgrade because our room had repairs to be done. It was good communication and they had all the towels and sofa bed set up for us when we arrived. It was walking distance from the pub so we enjoyed some dinner there. We didn't try the restaurant but had in room service for simple breakfast before we checked out. The room was clean. Our car was parked downstairs. It wasn't too noisy despite being on the main road. The wall in the bedroom was next to the bathroom of the room next door. We had some noisy neighbours that night. Our kettle didnt work and reception didn't have any spares and unable to send repairer until the next morning. Fortunately we could boil water with a pot and stove in our kitchenette!

We have tried other locations in Wagga and have come back to the Mercure for the beds. The room wasn’t turned over well. There was evidence of the previous guest (a vest left hanging in the cupboard, hair ties on the bathroom door). Despite arriving quite late, the room smelled like someone had just had a shower, room was a bit stale smelling (could have benefited from cracking a window) as if someone had left moments before we arrived.
- Frank (8/5): Our stay at the Mercure was nice and relaxing with a great room and a pool and close to town. - The motel is located close to town and the room was neat clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the location of the room was close to the pool. The room was a queen room, and it had a single bed that would accommodate 3 people, rather than the single bed a sofa couch would have been better for a couple.
