Guest Reviews
- Chrisandra (9/5): -
- Angela (10/5): Superb - So convenient. Staff so helpful. Apartment and facilities were great.
- Lisa (7/5): Overall good value for money. - Close to every thing we needed! Loved the snow gear lockers too! Great room size! Hot water was hit and miss, sometimes scolding and then would turn like warm. Also please be aware some rooms are on the ground level which means there is no view- just a concrete balcony with no chairs etc. little bit noisy at night from surrounding hotels or above rooms.
- Ajay (10/5): -
- Alison (10/5): We absolutely loved staying at Akazora- didn't want to leave our little retreat. - great pick up at the welcome centre. As soon as we got off the bus from the airport the driver was there.Lovely staff- very helpful and knowledgeable.Quiet, centrally located.Great view of Mt Yotei. Loved the bathroom. It would have been good to have a grill/oven. My husband is vegetarian and so I cook a lot when we are away if there are limited options for him in the local restaurants.
- Millie (10/5): Spacious room - Large spacious room
In Hirafu close to restaurants! For staying in Hirafu good value.
- Janet (8/5): -
- Jack (10/5): -
- WEINAN (10/5): -

- Chengfeng (10/5): - All the staff are kind and helpful 😊

- Lucy (7/5): - Location is awesome! It was pretty loud during the night.
- Stian (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Hirafu Niseko - Great location, clean and friendly staff
- Alessandro (9/5): Overall it was great. The staff were very communicative on email and very friendly. - Location is perfect for skiing and snowboarding. It's smack dab in the middle of Hirafu village and a 10 minute walk to Grand Hirafu slopes, 15 minute if trekking with your snow gear. Short walk to Hirafu intersection bus stop to reach other ski slopes. No bath tub in the ground floor room, would have been amazing getting to soak in a hot tub after a day on the slopes. More expensive rooms might have this option.
- Nutida (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adia (9/5): Loved it, will be back! - Lovely apartment, super comfortable and conveniently located. There’s a shuttle every 20mins, but if you’re impatient to reach the snow like I was, it’s only a 10 minute walk. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially with booking activities and in-room massage. The shower temperature was a bit unpredictable.
- Josh (10/5): Wonderful apartment in the heart of Niseko village. Great access to everything Niseko has to offer. - Comfortable, clean apartment. Large by Niseko standards and a solid price point. Great ski lockers and centrally located.
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - There is a parking and a nice ski room. The room are large, even the smaller one. The kitchen il well equiped ! But, the room on the street aren't soundproof, so you hear people partying until 3AM. The king bed is actually 2 small beds.
- Aryza Mae (8/5): - This hotel has a very good location - it’s a ~10-15min walk to the closest ski lift and plenty of restaurants, food trucks, and convenience stores nearby.
The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They are english speaking which made the whole experience much easier. They provided us with recommendations of the area and also helped us coordinate the ski lift passes beforehand, so we were able to receive it upon check-in. They also helped us book the shuttle to the airport for our check out day which made transportation less stressful.
The hotel is fully equipped with all your skiing needs. There is a locker space in the basement and the room itself has a laundry with plenty of space to hang your gear.
We had the 2bedroom unit for 3 people and it was very spacious to allow for all our luggage.
One downside for us - you can hear people outside on the street pretty clearly until around 11pm or 12am. The surrounding area gets pretty busy.
- Amit (8/5): Very good -
- Jeff (10/5): - Had a great week's stay at Akazora. Really convenient location to dining, bars. Green line ski shuttle stops on same road for travel to King and Ace Gondalas.
- Yu (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Good location Early check out
- marc (10/5): - sometimes passers by are loud
- Mart (9/5): Superb -
- Or (9/5): Superb -
- Carolyn (9/5): Affordable, lovely bright and comfy accommodation off season - The apt was new, bright, spacious and comfy with a mid-sized fridge and freezer and kitchen space to prepare simple things. Discount for summer was a real draw!! It is a block from Seicomart combini and near many bars and restaurants. We commuted there without a car and not too much is open in summer season right around there but enough of a variety of food. We got lots of walking in. The company offered to pick us up and drop us back at Kutchan station for free, which was lovely. For those without cars, the ski lifts on this side of town are not open. Hiking seems better from other areas.
- Alexia (8/5): nice cosy place - comfy place with nice view and kitchenette. staff were friendly. not sure why there was urinal in unit - kinda waste of resources. but great place 🙂
- Ck-bk (9/5): Superb - Room was clean and very spacious, and a small kitchen for light cooking. Free carpark and many restaurants within 15mins drive away. Nil
- Zoe (7/5): Good -
- Rosanne (9/5): we would love to stay here again, it was an ideal place for a family holiday. Thank you to the polite and helpful staff. - a lovely spacious apartment with very comfortable beds.
- Zsolt (7/5): good value for money, has some flaws - - spacious, modern apartment
- close to restaurants and bars (the fridge bar and Freddie’s are a few mins walk)
- free shuttle to/from the hotel
- staff was great - couldn’t find the AC remote
- bedrooms didn’t have AC
- 10 min uphill walk to ski base area
- one of the rooms was set up with 2 beds pushed together instead of 2 separate ones. It took a while to get bed linen and set up the beds
- no onsen or food included
- Anne (9/5): would love to comeback but stay above 2F - cozy and comfortable! sometimes there will be people outside talking when it’s almost midnight. 2 F is too close to G level.
- Jaimie (9/5): Superb -
- doogoo (8/5): Stay at Akazora - A bit far from ski resort but could get aid for free riding when schedule met, though it said no riding service available when I asked by email before trip. All staff were amazingly nice and friendly. One thing to be desired was there’s no bath tub.
- Cam (9/5): Great location, generous sized modern self catering apartment with bonus views - The location was fantastic right in the centre of town. Very easy walk to a range of restaurants, food trucks and convenience stores to be able to get supplies for breakfast etc. Generous room sizes, nice living room with views to Yoeti, as per the booking "Yoeti view room". Staff were great. It would have been good if Akazora had their own shuttle to run you up the mountain. They picked us up from the bus transfer in at Welcome Centre but daily trips were the on the free public shuttle service that only runs once every 20 minutes.
- Adam (10/5): - Great place to stay. Need first stop on Grand hirafu bus line. Rooms are big. Have a washer dryer combo in the room. Have a nice little kitchen area. Staff was great. They were super helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again when I return.
- Chester (10/5): -
- Dan (10/5): Friendly, clean, and spacious. It was just like a fancy apartment. - Great location, underground parking helped during snow, garage closet for ski gear, and clean and beautiful spaces! nothing.
- Merlee (7/5): Perfect location and great value for money. Would definitely stay again but maybe on a different floor. - amazing location!!! really friendly staff, clean and big rooms. Washing machine in the room was great. Our room was on the ground floor near reception and it can get quite noisy at night when people walk in an out. woke up to someone banging on the reception door and had to let them in. pillows are quite uncomfortable too, really small.
- Joshua (10/5): Awesome - Hotel staff were very helpful and lovely!
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Kysler (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luke (9/5): Superb - great staff great location and reasonable price compared to others. would definitely be back!
- Serge (9/5): very nice stay - staff was very friendly and helpful (esp. Aga)
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (10/5): Better than expected. Would stay again. - Our unit was spacious, quiet and well appointed with kitchenette and washing machine.
The location was great with lifts, restaurants and Seicomart nearby.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Great individual ski lockers in drying room.
- Duy (10/5): Exceptional -
- DUANGPEN (10/5): - Akazora aparment is excellent in every way. Location is walking distance to every highlight spots (AYA ski lift, Seico Mart, several restaurants in the same areas). Room is large and very clean, well equipped with kitchen and utilities. We are lucky to have the room with bathtub. Our room is at ground floor and we can see Mountain Yotei from our window, eventhough it was city view. Overall, our family (two adults and one little kid) is happy very much with ski trip and staying at Akazora.
- Dimitri (8/5): Very good - I was a little disappointed with the quality and size of the television. Also the inability to not be able to stream anything was annoying. TVs are inexpensive these days so I think this should be an upgrade Akazora should invest in.
- Elaine (9/5): perfect place for a family holiday at the snow. - the spacious rooms, kitchen facilities washing machine.
beds were soooo comfy and 2 bathrooms!
and the staff were exceptional. super helpful and welcoming.
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Mook (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (10/5): Would definitely come back! - Great location, very spacious and staff were very helpful with transit to and from the bus stop.
- Eileen (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff! Goes the extra mile to arrange activities, transport etc. Room was really big with many facilities. Location is near to many restaurants, rental gears shop and skiing places. Will recommend! Bed was not too comfy
- Ho (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shuk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hiroko (8/5): Very good -
- Cortney (10/5): You'll want to come back every season for the rest of your life! - Quaint and exceeded every need and want. Modern clean apartments with extra unexpected space and perfectly suited amenities. I wish I could have stayed all year!
- Yukiko (10/5): Exceptional - clean and comfy. I enjoy a part of space tatami room. parking space are too tightly.
- Verified traveler (10/5):
- Nicholas Clay (8/5): Great location, service; cheap furnishings - Great location. Easy/fast access to lifts by shuttle bus. Building and facilities are new and in good condition. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Furnishings, unfortunately, are not quite up to the standard of the building: a bit cheap and spartan for the price. I expected better. The beds have a cushion on top of the mattress that slides around as you sleep. Not comfortable. Also, the “double beds” are, in fact, singles pushed together. This was also disappointing for the price. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the service, but with so many accommodation options nearby, we would look for a place with a better standard of furnishings and bedding.
- Verified traveler (10/5): -
- Makoto (10/5): Summer vacation in Niseko - Very nice location.
Under the unusual hot summer in Niseko , room with air condition is helpful!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and they are very helpful. Also their response were very quick and we appreciate their service a lot (pick up / drop off service were arranged on spot and it was comfortable)
Ski drying room were a little difficult to find.... so maybe their sign can improve a little.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A perfect stay! - Great locaton for exploring Niseko/Hirafu area.
- Dennis Michael (10/5): As Good As It Gets! - This was my second visit to Akazora. On my own this time, 12 nights. I had a street front studio that met all my needs, comfortable bed, functional kitchenette, wall mounted flat screen TV that swivelled to all parts of the room, cable has an adequate range of English language channels. Akazora has particularly nice bathrooms and a small laundry off that room in its own alcove. I ate in a lot and the kitchenette worked out well. Akazora is extremely convenient to the town of Hirafura with it's restaurants and bars, there's a shuttle stop right at the door and shuttles run about every 20 minutes to either Hirafura or Hanazono mountain base. There's also an undercover carpark if you have a car and the ski lockup is next door to the carpark. The staff are all lovely people, Nikki on reception was really friendly and helpful and gave a lift to the bus station on the last day. I really enjoyed my stay. The photo is Mt Yotei (no ski) taken from Mt Annupuri (ski).
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Had a great stay, lack of front desk staff, but out of winter season which is to be expected. Lovely clean rooms, great shower! Thank you.
- Douglas (10/5): - Great location spacious rooms. Free parking.
- Danny (10/5): Nice hotel, close to main street - Easy self check in process.
Great facilities. But Tv program is not enough. We can't watch any euro sport channel even j-sport channel also missing
