Guest Reviews
- Lakesha (10/5): Greta was the best hands down - The manager Greta went over and behind for me and my husband for our 10th year wedding anniversary!! And the suite was nice and clean
- Rhonda (10/5): -

- Shannon (1/5): Sucked - We were given someone else’s room. Woke the gentleman up, came to the door and scared us to death. We were changed to another room ended up having to sleep on the couch. The sheets were filthy. Had to ask for clean sheets. I really want my money back.
- Kimberley (1/5): not good food under cooked - ice machines didnt work and doors outside didnt work with key me and my grandkids got soaked from the rain due to doors outside not working

- Tyeshia (10/5): - Good customer service Everything was okay
- Tyeshia (8/5): - Location and good customer service Na
- Akins (3/5): Wasn’t pleasing at all. The only good thing was the breakfast. - Breakfast The bathroom could have been cleaner, the exit door was left open, and it made me feel uneasy, and somebody pulled the fire alarm around 4am. The alarm stayed blaring for over 35 minutes. Until someone finally turned it off. I usually get a room once a month. To get a break from my hectic life. I might as well stayed home. And the bed was so hard. The mattress feels like you’re sleeping on a cardboard box.

- Gail (7/5): It was convenient and priced well. - Breakfast was delicious! Sounds in room from hall.
- Thomas (2/5): Terrible. - Terrible experience, place is dirty with unfriendly staff. Parking light was flashing all night long, was hard to sleep, air conditioning was loud Facility was not clean, staff was unfriendly., i didn't care for the loud air conditioning unit and a flashing light on a parking lot
- Jenny (6/5): Friendly staff, room and bedding clean. A few safety hazards in room. - Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Seating area and tables were small. Friday selection and amount of food sufficient for number of people partaking. Saturday selection and amount of food available was limited with some items not available. Room and bedding was clean. Towels, washcloths, hand towels and floor mats were very thin. One towel had brown stains. Electrical outlet for coffeemaker was hanging loose from wall, safety hazard, could not be used. Towel bar did not have all screws attached, was loose on wall. Had half of toilet paper roll and no extra roll in room.
- Mariann (8/5): -
- Sykes (7/5): I enjoyed it. - I enjoyed the hot breakfast. The bath tub still looked dirty to me.
- Tanesha (1/5): We were very dissatisfied!!! - The Breakfast was average, but had to wait a long time to replenish the sausage. When we got to the room there was only one wash cloth. I told the lady at the desk and she said she would try to get us another one. At this time I informed her that there was two people in the room and we needed two wash cloths. Eventually she did find an additional wash cloth and brought it up to the room but it took her a good hour. There was mold around the shower floor the comforter had questionable stains and the shelving in the bathroom you could clearly see dust where it wasn't cleaned previously.
- Sarah (8/5): - Friendly and inviting staff Room cleanliness was below par

- Fuller (5/5): It will be my last choice of a hotel. - The breakfast was good with great choices. The seating area had a variety of heights of chairs. The breakfast area is close to the elevator. No senior citizen discount given and no house keepers on duty. The room was dusty and crumbles on the floor.
- Monique (4/5): - Same as 1st night Same as 1st night we actually left early because I was not comfortable in the room the bathroom probably was the worst part as well as people walking in off the street for breakfast that we didn't get a chance to get because they kept running out of food and it took along time to remake
- Henderson (10/5): - Staff was great! I'm still dealing with a problem with Booking. com as the virtual card was never received by the hotel. Helen was very helpful in trying to help me contact Booking. com but no way to call and can only communicate via email. I'm waiting to get that reservation canceled and get a refund. I was still able to stay there and again very thankful to the management for their help.
- Peggy (9/5): Would definitely stay here again. - Clean, comfortable, courteous staff and a good price. Breakfast wasn’t great and room wasn’t cleaned each day.
- Doug (2/5): - I always considered Comfort Inns a good mid priced lodging alternative. No more. They now cater to itinerant workers. Shower was unacceptable. Dust bunnies behind TV. Old TV could not accommodate my Roku USB.
Won't be considering Comfort Inn in the future.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Spacious room but terrible layout for the bathroom. Cleaning staff needs to do their job better especially in the bathroom floor.
- joe (6/5): - Check-in was good, staff very friendly. Shower door broke and off track, mold in shower
- Kyradhel (10/5): - The room was clean.
- Carolyn (10/5): - Room clean but dated

- Cathleen (10/5): - Nice clean room. Easy check-in.
- Karen (6/5): Bathroom Need Attention - Bathroom not so clean in floor corners and shower corroded. Bed was comfortable
- DAVID (10/5): - Nice place, desk person nice, efficient, polite. nice room, everything OK.
- Tazsha (8/5): -
- Steve (7/5): Good stay - The older Saturday kitchen staff lady got an early breakfast request and had coffee ready at 5am. We appreciated that. Cleanliness was not up to standard
- Clifford (6/5): - Bed was comfy, but there was a fresh looking liquid stain on the top sheet. The cover on the A/C was broken and falling off; the vents were dirty. The carpet was smelly in some areas, the electric outlets on the desktop lamps were worn out and inoperable. The door key-card did not work in a normal manner and when I walked back to the desk for assistance, the receptionist expected me to know the card needed to be inserted multiple times - rapidly and in quick succession.
- Laura (6/5): - You are unable to make a left-hand turn out of the property. We had to make a right turn and then proceed to make a U-turn.
- Cathleen (6/5): - The room was nice sized and bedding was clean but the bathroom and mini fridge needed better cleaning.
- Karen (3/5): GlD to leave - Location good Found it a bit grubby and sad luckily only there one night.
- Ebony (10/5): - The staff was AMAZING and helped in my time of need!!!!
- MacKenzie (2/5): - The staff was fine but the the rooms have mold in the bath, shower and Regular curtains, and tile grout.
Such a smoke smell!
- Michael (6/5): - Just a C- property
- Eric M (10/5): - Just awesome
- Mei (8/5): - Overall staff was polite.
- LONNIE (10/5): Family Trip - Clean, comfortable, and close to everything
- Sharela (10/5): -
- Hillary (4/5): - Needs major updating, internet was down, business area unavailable, dirty rooms, key card readers at doors not working, ac was out, bathroom shower was black and dirty.
- Kmc29 (6/5): -
- Kim (10/5): - Hotel is a great half way point for our beach vacation!!!
- Ronald (10/5): -
- Johnathon (10/5): - The lady that was working the front desk don't know her name but our key didn't work and she fixed it nicely and fast, she also showed us that the curtains are hinding behind all the other curtains in our room lol but overall was a great stay and for the price very nice The bed was a little too firm but do able
- John (4/5): - There wasn't any internet. Called desk said twenty minutes and it will be fixed . Never happened . Second, the air conditioner had the carpet soaked. When told was we'l turn it in.
- Tyler (4/5): Mediocre at best - Second floor ice machine was broken. My keycard stopped working twice. Everything appeared run down and staff seemingly annoyed by guests existence.
- Brendan (10/5): - Very g
Good environment and very safe
- Crispen (5/5): - Location was good. Staff was pleasant. The hotel is outdated and could use a refresh. The room was dark and the shower had mildew in the corners.
- Aric (10/5): - Very nice clean modern amenities, all with a great price
- Barnhouse (9/5): Superb -
- Lori (7/5): Good - Room was clean and comfortable. There was a hot breakfast in the morning Pool was closed and green so we had a disappointed little one. Really had to go out of the way to find a restaurant for dinner
- Christy (6/5): - Our room did not have a working sprinkler as there was just a hole in the wall with the sprinkler set way back in there where it would not have worked if needed. Ice machine on 3rd floor did not work and from was falling off of it. rolling luggage cart had a flat tire on one side and the wheel on the other side didn't roll well. I didn't know it before loading the cart so it was very difficult to roll/pull. there was only one cart available. I told the night staff and she was going to tell maintenance but in the morning it was still not fixed.
- Angie (8/5): Very good -
- Sequita (8/5): Very good -
- Deacoda (1/5): Bad - AC didn’t work in our room and smelled of musty
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel dated & dirty. Pool was filthy. Bed was hard - You can tell the owners dont put a penny more than they absolutely have to into this hotel. It was very run down and dated. The ice machine on the 2nd room didnt work. The pool looked filthy & disgusting. Glad we didn't plan to use it. Would have been a disappointment. A/C unit in room had a broken cover. A/C did work. The bed was hard as a rock. We both didnt sleep well and woke up with backaches. No matress pad or protector on the bed. Just a sheet. There were visible layers of dust on the shevles in the bathroom. Room looked depressing. Thankfully we only stayed one night. Place definitely needs a deep cleaning and some updating. We felt safe and the stay was quiet. Pretty close to most anything you want to do in Tupelo. The breakfast was decent although the breakfast room was tiny and there was nowhere to sit, we had to wait until someone got up to be able to sit down. For almost $90 a night we expected a bit nicer hotel experience. This place is more like a $50 a night hotel.
- Angelo (4/5): Disappointing - WiFi wasn’t working
- Robert (2/5): - Pictures were from 20yrs ago . Rooms dirty, bathroom moldy. Dresser beside bed dirty . 1st room smelled like it flooded some time in past on 1 st floor. Manager did switch room to second floor but still smelled. Smell like use to let people smoke for years in ? I will say breakfast food was good and was clean and staff friendly and accommodating. Wouldn’t go there again

- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynette (10/5): Great hotel - Facility was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was large enough for our purposes. Bed was comfortable. Shower was perfect after a day of driving. Not sure why, but the shampoo dispenser is outside of the shower. No big deal but it was just a little quirky.
We apparently had Bigfoot staying above us but that's not the hotel's fault. Some people just don't think about their actions.
- Anton (10/5): - This property was very well maintained.
- Patricia (6/5): JUST A “HO-HUM” STAY - They advertised WiFi with the room, but it was in and out. Handicapped room, but shower chair was too big for the tub/shower. Fire alarm went off while we were having breakfast, they didn’t know how to turn it off. There was no fire.
- Carole (8/5): - Clean comfortable room and bed. Only complaint was they had forgotten to put the hand towels and washcloths in our room. Also, at 5:20 am the fire alarm went off and had to wait for the fire department to get there to shut it off. It was a false alarm. Breakfast was hot with a good variety.
- Marquita (1/5): Bad -
- John (4/5): Breakfast was good, room was clean (except mold in the shower), a/c was cold and affordable - Convenient The people…starting with the staff except Felice, loud unprofessional. Prostitute at the front door on the bench, another lady doing whatever put on the median, laying down on her cell phone Friday night.
- Raven (7/5): Good -
- Regina (4/5): Nasty - The room needs upgraded, for 3 people there were 2 washcloths, it was a dirty place, no outside lights on after dark, breakfast was terrible! The dinind area was nasty!
- Marquita (1/5): DARRYL AT THE FRONT COUNTER WAS AS NICE AS HE COULD BE GIVEN MY SITUATION, I THANK HIM :) - EGGS WERE HORRIBLE AND WHOEVER WAS ON GRITS DONT GET BACK ON THEM.
NO ORANGE JUICE. I WAITED OVER 3 HOURS TO GET MY ROOM, WITH NO COMPENSATION AT ALLLLL!!!!!
AFTER I BOOKED OVER 10 ROOMS AND PREPAID FOR THEM ALLLLLLLLL!!!! THEY TOOK FOREVER TO FIND MY BOOKINGS
PISSED ME OFF!! NOT TO MENTION THIS WAS FOR MY FAMILY REUNION.
COMPLETE EMBARRASSED
- Patsy (8/5): - Nice property and breakfast. The bathtub didn’t have a plug and they couldn’t find one. The next night when I asked for a working tub they put us in a room with only a shower. I cannot stand in a shower. Moved to another motel 3rd night.
- Priscilla (6/5): - The room was cleaner but things are old, a little bit of rust/mold in shower. Walls are thin- I could hear others in their room.
- Terrence (8/5): Five Stars. A Much-Needed Respite at Comfort Inn Tupelo - After a long and difficult day, checking into the Comfort Inn in Tupelo was a true relief. The staff at the front desk went above and beyond greeting me with a warm smile and sincerely letting me know she was there to make my stay a pleasant one. That simple kindness turned my entire day around. The room was cool, clean, and incredibly comfortable, just what I needed to relax. The location is also a big plus close to restaurants, a mall, and other conveniences. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious and a great start to the day.
I’m grateful for the hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tupelo. There was a small patch of mold in the bottom corner in the shower. One call and the cleaned it up.
- Amy (9/5): Superb - Easy access to everything. Friendly staff and good breakfast Not the most comfortable bed. I give it 7 out of 10 for bed
- Tracy (8/5): Very good -
- Josh (8/5): Great overnight stay - Quick check-in. Comfortable beds, and a great breakfast selection.
