• Madison (5/5): You have to pay to park here. - Liked that the rooms were clean, and the beds were remade while we was out sight seeing. Surprisingly with it being St Patrick's day, it wasn't very loud from surrounding bars/clubs. I was expecting way worse. Plus getting to see the trains go by was pretty cool. Quite a few things we didnt like 1) We didn't realize we had to pay to park in their parking garage across the street. Up front was $110 but then was dropped down to $60 after we left. The $110 stayed pending until after we left. This was on top of already paying $400 for the room for 2 nights. 2) We was told to just drop our room key off at the front desk when we left, we left right before 11 am. The checkout time on my bill says 11:30 am. 3) I booked this specific one for the indoor pool, and when I had booked it in early February, the pool was open. When we got there it was closed for maintenance. Kid was thoroughly disappointed that she wouldn't get to swim in the pool on her birthday. 4) I was charged for supposedly taking a charging block from the room. We did not see any hotel provided charging blocks when we went in the room, and only took what was ours when we left. There was also another $10 and $5 charge on my card that when I called the place, the lady could not seem to figure out what those two charges were for. I'm not going to A)pay for something I didn't take, and B)pay for imaginary charges. Final word, we won't be booking at this location again. Next time ill save $150 and book an Air B&B
• Edward (3/5): Night life scene hotel - Very clean room and great breakfast Very, very noisy. Not a family friendly hotel. Much better for more of a... parting crowd I would say. We asked to switch to another room. Maybe one not so close to the bar street atmosphere outside our room window with noise and base boom so very loud til after 2am even on a Sunday night. I was informed there was nothing and that they could give ear plug and a box fan to drown out the noise. AC also didn't work right. Even though the did send a maintenance man to the room very quickly. It still didn't work correctly. Also we stayed 2 nights/3 days and never had any room service come to clean. Also if you stay please make sure to clean in first be parking. You will need a special pass to park in there parking area. The hotel was clean and our room was clean. It is a bit on the smaller side of rooms but did have a microwave and small refrigerator. I personally would not go again with having kids.

• Yu (2/5): Extremly noisy - The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was average. My room faced a large bar. On both Monday and Tuesday nights during my stay, loud music, flashing colored lights, and pounding noise lasted until 2 a.m. It was very noisy.

Alles befindet sich in Plastikschubladen auf dem Buffett. Pappteller und Becher und immer Plastikbesteck. Für unser Auge sehr unschön! Schmeckt aber alles ist aber in jedem Hotel das gleiche. Wurst und Käse gibt es auch nicht nur Frischkäse. Unser Zimmer lag zum Hinterhof mit Blick auf einen Club im Freien. Die Musik war bis 21.45 Uhr so laut, als seien wir selbst in diesem Club.

The hotel is located on Glenwood Avenue directly across the street from nightclubs. The lower numbers on each floor are closest to the clubs which blast music until 3:00 AM. We had room 302 and the music was extremely loud.

• Laurie (2/5): My stay was not good as a member of Booking.com, but when I gave them my Hilton Rewards number- I was treated with more - There was a young man who worked the front desk on Tuesday night (12/9) after 7pm, who was extremely kind, informative and generous with his service. I requested not to be near an elevator and in a quiet area. Yet, I was placed near the elevator and near housekeeping supply room. It was very noisy and I didn’t get any rest last night.

• Faith (1/5): It was exhausting…. - It was very clean and smelled very good! The staff was friendly. accommodating and professional! The location was horrific because of the bar noise that surrounded it. Each night until 2:00am loud, high energy, techno music thumped so loud that our floor literally vibrated from the bass. We were told at the front desk that it was loud outside but not inside. When we reached our room, we saw earplugs that had been provided for us and a white noise machine…not good signs…neither of those sound inhibiting devices could touch the tremendous noise we were to encounter. Needless to say, we went two nights getting about 4 hours sleep each night. To top it off, booking.com had not transferred our reservation to the property so they had no record of our reservation. It wasn’t in their system that we were even there, so at 2:30am, a man came into our room because he had been assigned the room we were in. Again more lost sleep. Hampton is always my go to hotel, but never again in downtown Raleigh.

• Lesley (6/5): Nice but no dice - This Hampton Inn is unfortunately located next to a railroad track and numerous bars/restaurants that blast music outdoors till 2 or 3 am. Clearly this has been an o going situation because it is posted clearly at the front desk and they provide ear plugs and noise cancelling machines upon request. The other thing we don’t like was how strong the air freshener odor was throughout the hotel. A subtle smell would be okay but this was simply overpowering. The breakfast was okay - the scrambled eggs had an odd texture - but we appreciated the convenience and variety. Overall, we like the Hampton Inn product and the staff was very nice but this property is not one we’d return to.

Since this hotel is located in the “entertainment” district, it is noisy. But again, you are fair-warned. Front desk staff was exceptional, although not sure how much overnight parking was…must have been $100 per night to get the rate I was quoted on Expedia to line up. Expensive!

Clean, and because we were upgraded to a suite my daughter felt like a princess. Breakfast in the morning is an amazing smorgasbord of all the things. Waffles are top!!

• Raimon (10/5): Had a great time in Raleigh and the hotel helped with that experience. - Location is close to everything. Building is clean and has a professional atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This was my second time staying and this will be my go to hotel whenever I am in Raleigh!
• brian (8/5): San diego - The staff was excellent. We arrived on Saturday and it sounded like a concert up until 4:30 in the morning at the front of the hotel the back of the hotel it was horrible. I would never stay there again on a weekend absolutely insanity. The staff even left a pair of earplugs on the desk for you I should’ve known
• Jose (6/5): Girlfriend and i - I stayed here with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway to explore Raleigh’s nightlife, and the location was perfect! It’s within walking distance of some awesome spots — our first stop was Raleigh Beer Garden, which had great food and amazing service. The only downsides were that you can definitely hear the music from nearby bars/clubs in the room, which might bother light sleepers, and the extra $20 parking fee felt unnecessary. It would be nice if parking was included with the room. Overall, though, it was a great stay for a fun night out, and we loved being able to walk everywhere!

• Anita (10/5): - All the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to assist you. The room was very clean!! The breakfast was good. The hotel was located in a great location in downtown Raleigh. The only thing I wasn't happy with, was having to pay for parking.

• Natalie J. (7/5): Mostly Good with two major issues. The breakfast was very good. The staff was amazing. Rooms were clean. - The friendly, warm staff and cleanliness of the room. No pool. It really needs to be stated in bold on all sites representing this hotel or any hotel for that matter when a pool is under maintenance. It should be law. It happens way too often. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool. Aldo our room was very close to the train and so we were constantly woken up. We are shot today.
