Important Information

PAYMENT: For Advance Purchase rates/Non Refundable rates, we require the payment card used for booking to be presented upon check in. GROUP POLICY: Any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. Groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and Generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise. PAYMENT: All guests will require proof-of-age ID upon check-in. The full cost of the booking must be paid at least one month prior to arrival. Late payment will result in the rooms being resold. AGE RESTRICIONS: In Germany unaccompanied 16 to 18 only are permitted to stay in private rooms. To do so, they must present Generator's parental/guardian consent form and a copy of valid photo identification from the parent/guardian. Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancelation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel. Minors accompanied by a legal guardian/parent can book a private room. The legal guardian/parent must stay in the same room. If relationship status is not clear, a completed parental consent form must be presented. If minors are part of a school group that has booked an entire dormitory, they can stay in a dorm. PET POLICY: We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Lynne (6/5): Great location of hostel, staff helpful and pod good but it would have been great if the pods were in a room with window - Great location, pod is very private which was appreciated after 30+ hours travelling. I stayed in a pod which in itself was fine except it was in a room downstairs which was windowless so it felt like I was in a dungeon. The air conditioning didn’t appear overly effective so it was quite hot and stifling at times. Someone was smoking in their pod which unfortunately then filtered into my pod which was very unpleasant.

Bastante cuidado en los detalles en la cama no funcionaba ni la luz ni el enchufe, y era en varias camas, por lo que habia que turnarse para usar los enchufes generales de la habitación y aunque avisé en la recepción, no los fueron a arreglar.

Johan (7/5): Prisvärt hotell med ungdomlig touch - Prisvärt hotell med bra läge. Det var väldigt trångt och kaotiskt vid frukost.
Yolanda (6/5): - Leuke wijk met veel restaurants en bakkertjes. En op wandelafstand van het trein station (Hauptbahnhof) en het Museum Inseln. En als je een wandelaar bent is ook het station Gesundbrunnen en het Joods museum prima beloopbaar. Vriendelijk personeel. Ik sliep in een kamer aan de kant van de binnenplaats waar ook de bar zit. Dat is lawaaierig vooral omdat het geluid echoot als er mensen op die binnenplaats staat te kletsen. Daarnaast is dit (iig toen ik er was) een hostel waar veel grote groepen komen. De foto’s van de algemene ruimte kloppen niet meer. Die ruimte is aangepast om er (betaalde) kluisjes voor bagage in te zetten. Er is wel een café, een bar en een eetzaal.

Nyssa (7/5): Overall good, maybe just wouldn’t do a pod again - I was in a pod so I liked the privacy. The location is great as it’s basically no more than 20min transit anywhere in the downtown area. The staff were nice and helpful. The pods have AC but it doesn’t work very well, got very hot in them because of body heat, and also had a smell of smoke/weed at least 2-4times randomly throughout the day/night. When I arrived there was a massive party going on (totally fine just didn’t expect it and I’m not a huge party person myself). One of the nights I woke up in the middle of it and went to the washroom and as I came out there was a guy completely naked walking back to the pod below mine. I forgot to mention this to the staff when checking out, was definitely off putting but I would imagine this doesn’t happen often I’d hope though. The showers were pretty small and the doors within the shower to prevent water from leaving it don’t close all the way like a third of it is left open and so water gets all over the floor in the individual shower room which is really annoying. Plus they need better cleaning as they were quite gross in all honesty and didn’t drain very well.

Mit Spinden unter den Betten, die zu klein für einen Koffer und ultra laut beim rausziehen sind. Auch das alle Zimmer zum Hof rausgehen wo schon frühst Musik läuft ist nicht so ideal, da zusätzlich von 05:30 bis 23:30 Lärm ist.

The rooms were very cleaned and organized, the bathroom perfect, the energy of the place is fantastic and friendly. Much closer for all famous places, and the trains station is just from 2 minutes walking.

Mitu (6/5): Good for the price but i wish it was little less noisy. - I stayed in a pod. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very fresh and healthy. The staff was also friendly. The shower doors were broken and the toilet was dirty.(from 4 toilets 2 were clean). And since i stayed in a pod, the pod was clean and comfortable from inside but the room where the pods were, was very noisy even at 3 o’clock at night. when other people were opening and closing their pod’s door it was very laud. I couldn’t sleep well.

MA (6/5): - 地理位置还可以，但不是说它离主要景点近，依旧不近，但是它旁边有一个地铁站，所以对于带大行李的人比较友好,但是性价比真的不高房间非常小，四人间，你甚至不给我配一张凳子和桌子，更别说没有床帘私密性很差。遇事状况不好，我进去的时候会有臭味，是从地漏里反臭气。休息区也很小，作为一个青年旅社，只有前台位置处提供了两张沙发，而且不是每张沙发都配有插头的公共休息处，也很小。临近餐馆的餐厅，而且餐厅里面也不怎么让坐，会往外面赶人。而且最重要的是没有公共厨房也行李寄存收费

Бельё чистое, сама капсула тоже норм, места хватает, залезать удобно. Душевые и туалеты по чистоте отличные, водичка горячая есть, всё как нужно. Простынь на кожаную обивку матраса было бы здорово на самом деле. Если пижама не целиком с рукавами и штанами, то прилипать не круто.

Jakub (6/5): - Fairly clean and good price for stay in Berlin There's no kitchen or anything to cook on your own, instead you can only order breakfast in pricy bar, it'd be much better if they just allowed people to cook on their own or atleast boil water for tea of coffee. Another thing is the showers, they could swap the overhead showers to normal handheld ones

Irem (4/5): Die Lage ist super, aber die Zimmerausstattung ist mehr als dürftig. - Lage, Personal Ausstattung der Zimmer: fehlende Tische und Stühle, keine Abstellflächen. Hygienestandard: Haare in der Dusche, verstopfter Abfluss, Hygieneabfalleimer ohne Deckel, nur ein großes Handtuch pro Person, zwei winzige Abstellgelegenheiten. Abgenutzte Wände, fleckige Bettbezüge und Vorhänge. Keine Möglichkeit zum Lüften.

Alenka (1/5): Never again - Location was Great! So, we booked twice a deluxe twin room and wanted to stay in the same room. Didn’t work. First we stayed in our “category”, I can tell you about this experience: The Bedroom was aweful, the only thing deluxe was, that we could close the door behind us. No chairs, no table, no hangers, not even functioning bed lights! Felt like a prison cell. The madrass had springs coming out from all areas. But hotel was fully booked and then we had to move to a four bed bedroom. Even there, no chairs, no table, but at least somewhere to hang our clothes, yay! We got one breakfast for free because of the inconvenience. We didn’t want to eat there though… so can’t say anything about that. But; Why are luggage rooms only available till students?And then you only have rentable lockers, and all, upstairs and downstairs, where FULLY BOOKED ALREADY. You have to take “luggage room” off of your attribute list, because what kind of scam is this? Reception couldn’t care less. It was an aweful experience.
Ramona (7/5): Experiencia buena si quieres ahorrar en alojamiento - Las cápsulas proporcionan cierta intimidad para ser una habitación compartida. El personal muy amable y atento. Los baños, aunque no depende del personal, gestionar baños compartidos siempre es complicado. Los de fuera de la habitación del astronauta mucho mejor.

Mehmet Ali (9/5): - Konumu çok iyi önünde metro tramvay var. Her yere ulaşımı çok kolay. Telefon çekmiyor onu anlamadım. İçecek ikram ediyorlar güzeldi. Temiz ve sessizdi. Tekrar kalırım. Erken check in yapamadım. Telefon çekmiyordu anlamadım. Banyo tuvalet kullanımı zordu ekipmanı değiştirseler iyi olur.

Best location, resaonable price, and nice atmosphere. - - Very nice location & price for visiting Berlin - Clean beddings - Nice vibe among people - Public spaces for working or chatting - Small but comfortable personal space in 8 person room - Limited storage space, only 1 flat locker under bed and requires you bring your own lock. No locker space for suitcases. Would be nice to have some more space for some daily items. - No curtain for each bed, would be nice to have it equipped for privacy and for helping someone sensitive to lights to sleep. - Ventilation : not really equipped with shower room, it can be always humide in the shower room. Also window can't be fully open in the room. Sometimes the air gets stuffy in the room.
