• allison4217 (8/5): STUNNING LOCATION - Great location, attentive and helpful staff all around hotel, great selection and variable food selection my only gripe was the hot buffet food was cold most nights , with no microwave on display at evening meal,, only at breakfast,, which to me needs to be addressed, The chefs show cooking was delicious, Pool are was immaculate, with stunning views
• derekburke1 (4/5): 5 out of 10 - Booked Hotel as it looked great on the Brochure. Arrived to find the Hotel had only 10 rooms and a second complex across the road from the actual Hotel. Sea views were from the hotel but you have to pay 64e per night extra for these rooms. Standard room was across the street in another complex. Our room was tiny but clean. Small bed, no ironing or tea or coffee making facilities. Small Fridge. Small balcony over looking the street which was noisy at night. Room had aircon and was cleaned daily. Pool area was lovely but pool is 15mtrs but looks much bigger on the brochure. NO ENTERTAINMENT!!!! Big damper for us as we had to source night time entertainment in Cala Bona and Cala Milor. Cala Bona was at least a 20 min walk from the hotel but the entertainment in the Cala Bona and surrounding hotels was Fabulous. Breakfast was luke warm at best with 2 x coffee machines with a queue every morning for coffee as machines were very slow. We ended up eating breakfast at Stanleys Restaurant across the road from the hotel which was gorgeous. Hotel is about center between Cala Bona and Cala Milor so is in a great location. Hotel claim they do not advertise entertainment and the sea views cost are transparent? We checked our booking with Love Holidays to find the Hotel does advertise Entertainment and no mention of 64e per night extra for a sea view and no mention of the standard rooms being across the road in another complex? Best to contact the hotel and get all this confirmed before you book. All in all, Lovely Hotel in ideal situ but a bit a bit disappointed with the 64e extra per night and the lack of nightly Entertainment. There are beautiful hotels all around Cala Bona etc and worth taking the time to check out and compare prices etc
• lynnatha (10/5): Hotel atalon you don’t disappoint on everything you advertise.. and you go that bit further with your staff… - Fantastic location. Amazing hotel lovely rooms and amenities. Wonderful staff always friendly and helpful. Would stay again for sure.
• lindaiH3670EY (4/5): Bad experience - Booked the hotel for the location and the fact the food looked great( don't normally eat dinner inhouse). Big mistake. First night arrived late so barely ate much, breakfast adequate on the sun morning. Sunday night got in restaurant 10 mins after opening. All plated "hot " food cold ,goodness knows how long been left out, veg almost raw, Tried several dishes. Queue for chef cooking too long to bother with. Tried several starters and couple of desserts. Unimpressed. Approx 4 hours later the stomach etc problems kicked in, worst case of food poisoning ever experienced in my life! Not eaten outside hotel all day and only drank bottled water. Rang reception mon morning ( no instruction on internal phone to access so used mobile) as solo and was concerned. Receptionist came up, said noone else affected, was a viral infection ( it wasnt), never heard from reception again so could have been unconscious in room for all they knew!! Was in bed virtually from the sun night til checkout on the wed. Looking back through reviews there is definitely something not right with the food, someone mentioned a possible hygiene issue. Maybe people just think it's a 'Spanish tummy ' general thing they've got...Luckily beds comfortable and clean, strong shower. Walls thin as could hear person next door zipping their case up so they must have heard me in bathroom... 😞 sorry...
• cuervofran (10/5): An amazing experience in the island to have with your couple - Hotel Atolon is our favorite hotel on the island, we love it and strongly recommend it! The food is amazing and the pool has a has a view that leaves you speechless. Special mention to the staff who are super friendly and polite.

• 666eleanora (10/5): Wonderful Hotel - I have been to Hotel Atolon many times over the last 10 years, so that in itself tells you what I think of it. It is ideally placed between Cala Bona Harbour and Calla Millor. The rooms are comfortable and maid service is excellent, as is the food, multiple choice at breakfast and dinner. I don't think any other Hotel has staff as good as Atolon, each one is friendly and courteous. As soon as you arrive at Reception, you are looked after. Perfect in every way.

• sueryden64 (10/5): Fabulous decision to stay at Hotel Atolon! - We stayed at Hotel Atolon for 3 nights for a family wedding we were attending nearby. The reception staff on arrival were friendly, welcoming and very efficient. We were in our room less than 10 minutes after we arrived. What a room!! I had upgraded to a sea view room which meant we were in the main building directly behind the sea. The view was incredible!! The room itself spotlessly clean and had everything you could need, including a kettle and full size hairdryer. The Hotel faces east across the Mediterranean so the sunrise each morning was spectacular. You could see Minorca on a clear day! Breakfast was another treat, a chef constantly cooking fresh eggs and bacon along with omelettes to order. Every kind of bread, pastry, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc….. certainly set us up for the day. I would absolutely choose this hotel again should I be fortunate enough to return to Mallorca. Oh, also, there is a modest gym but unfortunately no AC which did make it a bit stuffy. The location is the best in the resort bar none! If you walk right out of the hotel you’ll find more anglicised bars, pubs and eventually the harbour. If you turn left there is a fantastic promenade all the way through Cala Millor with a more relaxed vibe. If you’re really wanting a good walk there is a Castle up on the hill through Cala Millor, accessed via a path along the back of the rocks, looking across towards Minorca, the views are stunning. There are feral cats, chickens and a horse riding school up there, as well as a cafe for refreshments. All in all we had a great experience!
• neilv865 (10/5): Amazing sea view - My wife and I booked a sea view room which didn’t disappoint, loved listening to the waves while drifting off to sleep in comfy beds. Room basic but spotlessly clean, rooms were cleaned everyday. Plenty of sun beds available and a poolside bar available all day. All staff without exception were friendly and always on hand. Food was of a good standard plenty of variety, something for everyone. Bonus at breakfast as they served English sausages. Location of hotel is perfect for exploring Cala Bona and Cala Millor. Amazing stay and already considering booking again for next September.

• S5185WSsheilar (10/5): Very chilled. - This has to be the best located hotel in Cala Bona. Beautiful sea views and just a few minutes walk to Cala Bona beach and harbour. Easy walk along the promenade to Cala Millor. Rooms are minimalist in design, compact but comfortable, with a kettle, fridge and safe. Bathrooms have a walk in shower, hairdryer and toiletries. Everything is very clean. What makes this lovely hotel a bit different is the quality of the food and service. At breakfast, everything you could possibly want is provided, with pancakes, omelettes, eggs and bacon all freshly cooked to order. Similarly, at dinner, your entire main course can be cooked to your liking by the chef. This makes a change from the normal buffet food offering, whilst still giving plenty of choice. The food is delicious and fresh. Restaurant staff are helpful and efficient. The hotel’s beach club is very chilled, seating is comfortable and it’s possible to hire a Balinese bed. For hotel guests, there are of course plenty of sun beds around the pool. There is no beach directly in front of the hotel, but there are steps down to the sea and you can hire a paddle board from reception. I recommend trying the hotel’s Kaafu restaurant for lunch. Staff are attentive and friendly. There are plenty of tasty options on the menu if you want a snack or a full meal. Service at Kaafu is very good. In the evening, it’s lovely to sit outside with a cocktail listening to a DJ set, singer or sax player. The hotel have tried and succeeded in providing something a bit different to the other large 4 star hotels in the area in terms of food, service and vibe. The hotel is ideal for adult guests of all ages who want a relaxing holiday. Although children are made welcome, there are no facilities apart from the pool.

• roseg176 (6/5): Disappointing holiday - Our second visit to this hotel. Hotel and rooms are extremely clean, bright and airy, although the rooms are a bit sparse and bathroom was not very big. The view from our room was wonderful. It was so disappointing that the food was rarely hot and as the plates where cold then the food was soon stone cold. The Kaafu Beach Club is very trendy, however when loud base music is played all day long and until approx 10.30pm it becomes annoying. I am unsure what type and she group they are trying to attract as Cala Bona is mainly a resort of elderly and couples. Sorry but we will not be staying at the Atalon again. Very disappointed as we have been very happy going to Cala Bona for years.
• Z1305CVsharonh (10/5): Fantastic hotel in a perfect location - Fantastic hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is situated on the edge of Cala Bona, turn right out of the hotel reception and its a 10 minute walk to the harbour, turn left and it’s roughly a 20 minute walk to Cala Millor. It’s a lovely small hotel with friendly staff and a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. There was never a problem getting a sunbed and you can get towels from reception for a 10 euro deposit that can be changed every two days. The rooms were super clean with a selection of great toiletries (all Dove products), towels were changed every day. We stayed half board and can recommend the food in the restaurant, there was a great selection for breakfast. For the evening meal there was always a choice of at least two fish dishes, two meat dishes and one vegetarian plus either a pasta dish or a stir fry and plenty of other choices. Some of the dishes were cooked as you ordered at the grill but there was never a big wait, the dishes were displayed on plates in the front of the grill. Other available dishes were pre prepared and available on the hot plate. There was also a great selection of deserts on offer. There was a small bar in the reception area (not much seating available) but it didn’t seem to be used much. There were plenty of bars and restaurants outside of the hotel which were very close and stretched all along the promenade to the harbour. Would I return to this hotel? Definitely!

The food was lovely and fresh, and the chef was very helpful in providing us with some vegetarian options. The hotel staff are very attentive too, and we enjoyed chatting with Fernanda, the pool lifeguard. Atolon is in a great location facing the sea and ideal for walking to Cala Bona marine or the other direction towards Cala Millor. We'll definitely be back for another stay!

Negative Merkmale nur, kein richtiger Kleiderschrank, die Musik an der Poolbar war abends viel zu laut und nur HippHopp, House und so neumodernes Zeug. Auch war beim Abendessen die Klimaanlage viel zu kalt gestellt

Great beach club attached . We were half board and food is amazing . Cooked fresh ever night . Buffet for starter/ dessert. The stir fry is to die for. Breakfast had everything you need so much choice . I gave it a 4 aa the room we had not sure if they are all the same but hardly any storage . But not really a big issue . If I was going back we will . I would try get a room even with partial sea view. We had a ground floor this time.
• Sohail (10/5): - We enjoyed the time at Atolon. Not all the hotels in the area have swimming pool by the sea water so that was a plus. The neighbourhood was also wonderful with a good summar vibe, restaurants, bars, etc. we enjoyed every moment of it.

• Daydream68668688251 (10/5): Great Hotel, Great Location and Stunning Views - We stayed here for the first time last week and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location for both Cala Bona and Cala Millor, both of which are about a 8 to 10-minute walk. We stayed in the block over the road, which was cleaned regularly and very comfortable, the rooms are quite “white” and would benefit from a bit of colour and a bit more storage, but aside from that were exceptional. The bathroom was clean and modern and our patio lead out onto a garden courtyard. There was never any issues with getting sunbeds and the views from the pool are sensational. We dined Bed and Breakfast and there was a wide range of food to choose from, we never dined in the adjoining Kaafu Beach Bar but others said they food was very good. Overall a great hotel, in a great location, far enough from the centre to be tranquil but close enough to enjoy the bars and restaurants, we will return!

We had some really great stay,a truly horrible one, But everyone of you guys is amazing,the hotel and the entire staff give us the best feeling of my summer vacation. Kind,professional,polite,smiling,attentive to details with a feel a family like. Great location,great pool ,great room,entertainment,food was so good you would be a fool to go anywhere else. • Resort20589736835 (10/5): Everything you need in a Hotel - We Stayed at the Hotel for 10 nights, and from entering the hotel and throughout all the staff were polite and helpful. Check-in was quick and did not take long, before we were shown how to get to our room across the road in the annex, was just a few steps, and have had to go further in some hotels to our room and dining room Room on second floor with side sea few from balcony, and was clean and had everything we need for our stay. Meals, were half board, and at breakfast and dinner, plenty available for all tastes, and dining room overlooking pool and sea. Pool and pool area, very large pool and plenty of sun loungers and brollies available all day, pool towels can be hired out for small returnable charge. Entertainment, did let the hotel down a bit, as only disc jockey playing music most nights, and I heard someone say had singer one night, shame as lovely sitting area, watching the sea. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the hotel, as right on front, with flat walking both ways to many restaurants and bars, and other hotels with entertainment.

• 349katya (10/5): Amazing find - Wow! what can I say we have just come back after spending 5 days here and can honestly say it was perfect from start to finish. The hotel was beautiful the viewwas amazing looking at the sea whilst sunbathing, plenty of sunbeds. The food was freshly cooked and a lot of choice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like a quiet relaxing holiday.
• micha_t444 (10/5): Hidden gem - BEST food. Only hotel in Cala Bona which has direct access to seafront (instead of a busy promenade). Rooms are clean, the hotel seems somewhat recently renovated. The hotel also isn’t crowded - it’s not a 1000 room all-inclusive, which you can find a lot around.
• 534samanthat (6/5): Food excellent, rest not so much.. - Pros - speciality cooking and food is definitely the best part of this hotel, the quality of the food is brilliant, fresh, tasty. Staff are friendly, waitresses work really hard and are always smiling. Pool area is nice, always sunbeds available, lifeguard keeps everything clean, safe and tidy. Some sites say adult only (think this is more a travel agent error though, not hotel), there were days where there were kids in the pool. Cons - cleanliness of rooms are poor, limescale up shower door on arrival, cleaner entered room every day (despite putting the shh sign outside) and did not clean, only made the bed, sheets were not changed once in 6 days, floor wasn't mopped, one bin in the room which was a small one in the bathroom. Kettle provided, however no tea/coffee, which is surprising for a 4 star hotel. Decor was plain in rooms and beds were uncomfortable and on wheels which moved about when getting comfy at night. Courtesy room was just a shower and toilet, not cleaned between uses, nowhere dry to get changed, apply make up. Overall the hotel is okay, but wouldn't rate it 4 stars
• ACB2002 (8/5): Lovely hotel . - Girls relaxing holiday . Lovely hotel with excellent location looking out over the sea. Most rooms are in a block across the promenade which is a 20 second walk so not really a traditional sea view unless you are in the smaller block which houses the reception and breakfast room. Rooms are standard size , very clean , comfy beds, nice shower room. Wall are quite thin so take ear plugs if you don’t want to be woken by people in the corridors talking when returning from a night out. Breakfast is second to none , choice of all sorts hot and cold . Beach bar and pool look out over the sea . Pool is long enough to swim lengths . Very clean and no ridiculous rush for sun loungers . Beach bar is lively with chilled DJs and singer one night. Shower room available after check out but can’t check in until after 2pm. Only negative was rude young man in beach bar who tried to charge us double for drinks that we had had 6 days in a row at a lower price , then started an embarrassing argument about it . All other staff in there were lovely especially the two mature men who were so friendly and welcoming and the man with the beard . Management were very apologetic when we mentioned but it tarnished what had otherwise been a fabulous relaxing holiday . However, we will return next year, hopefully the young man will have had some training in customer service by then !
• Catherine (8/5): - Great hotel - rooms are fine. Always a sunbed available round the pool. Only negative was no air con in the courtesy shower room - which made getting ready for the journey home slightly uncomfortable. We were half board - food was good, although some nights were better than others, but on the whole it was good and was good value. Breakfast was good but could get busy aroubd 9ish - but food was good and was quieter if you went earlier. Beach access here was rocky (take water shoes) but sandy beaches less than 10 minute walk each way. Sunrise here was lovely to watch - worth getting up and watching from the beachfront.
• Chloe (6/5): - Quite a small basic hotel, but one of the nicer and cleaner ones in the area. Pool views and access to the sea is what makes the property. Worth wearing water shoes when getting down to the sea as it’s quite rocky. The rooms were nice, enough room for 2 people comfortably. Not sure it’s worth the sea view unless you like late nights as you are close to the beach club. We stayed across the road and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast is poor, very minimal options, defrosted frozen fruits/tinned fruit etc. Beach club food was good.

The pool is right on coast, however , although see always looked inviting for a swim , quite rocky to enter the sea, however a beach few hundred yards away towards Cala bona and about 500 yards towards Cala Millard, nice sandy beach.

• Global01039059732 (6/5): Hotel Atalon - Me and my husband spent our honeymoon here 24th July to the 31st Pros room was spotless and cleaned daily, towels changed when requested, We asked if they had a double bed instead of 2 singles, which the didn't so the put a mattress topper on which was okay. Breakfast there was plenty of choice and nice and warm Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Cons the advert for the hotel doesn't explain they are two parts to it, one across road from the other, we were put in the one across which looked a lot older inside and out of date, when going for breakfast and dinner we had to go to the other side of the road the and same when you wanted to use the pool area which was very disappointing and was a big let down because you couldn't always get a sun lounger. Dinner there wasn't a lot of choice and quite cold so we ate out every night. If you don't mind being in the older part of the hotel where it's a lot quieter than I would highly recommend it but This hotel doesn't offer any night time entertainment which is disappointing. We have stayed in a lot of ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Hotels and this hotel is no where near on par with those so I would say this is more like a ⭐⭐⭐

Dishes are fresh flavoursome and the chefs are helpful and attentive. The jewel in the crown is Kaafu beach club. It’s part of the hotel and also provides the outdoor bar service. It’s a beautiful comfortable, relaxing place to enjoy the stunning sea views with some chilled background music. Low key evening entertainment includes DJ sets, sax players and singer. Good choice of drinks and cocktails served by friendly staff. Nowhere better to sit on a warm summer evening. Kaafu also hosts its own restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. They serve Mediterranean dishes with a twist. Kaafu beach club is open to non residents, hotel guests receive a discount on hire of the Balinese beds. Although the cost may seem expensive, the fee includes a substantial food and drink credit, so great for a treat. Recommend this hotel for adults if all ages looking for a relaxing holiday.

The accommodation is very relaxing and peaceful, no children splashing in the pool and no blaring music! If you want a chilled vibe this hotel will give you that. Room - our room was in the block across from the main hotel lobby. It met our needs and was exceptionally clean. Some reviews say about wardrobe space, I can see why this might be an issue if you were staying for longer than we did, but we managed with the drawer space and hangers. The fridge in the room is a nice touch but not very cold at all! Air con was great. Shower was amazing. Minimal noise in the block itself, I wear earplugs though. Room was cleaned daily. Our room went out onto a gravelled terrace which wasn’t the best but we don’t spend time on our balcony/terrace whilst away. Safety deposit box in room. Beds very firm. The only complaint we had about the room was the ants (some flying) that seemed to come out at night. In hindsight we should have reported this. Pool area - you do have to get up early to secure a bed over looking the sea, I’m an early riser so it wasn’t an issue and it was great to watch the sun rise. Pool is a nice temp. Very clean around the pool area. We didn’t use the beach club beds but they looked lovely. The beach club area is very nice and plenty of seating to access when you need a break from the sun! You can borrow towels from reception for 20 euros (refundable on return). Food - we were half board. Breakfast had plenty of options and was very nice. Dinner also had plenty of options too. I’m not a big meat eater so did struggle on a couple of nights but always managed to find something! Staff- the staff here are incredible! So friendly and attentive. A special shout out to Santi at the beach club bar. All of the waiters there were lovely. Entertainment - there was entertainment for most of our stay from live singing, saxophone, fire dancers and DJ. All very sophisticated to match the beach club vibe. The local area has plenty to offer, Cala Millor beach is very nice but super busy! Lots of shops and places to eat. If you have a late flight you can use a shower room at the main hotel and they provide fresh towels for you which is a nice touch. There is also a locked luggage area. There were lots of couples so this is a great hotel if you’re wanting a romantic break! That didn’t put me off though and I would return either by myself or with a group of close friends.

The rooms are small but very comfortable, not much storage for clothes but guess that can be over looked. The food is fairly good, nice varied breakfast, evening meals were ok, some days better than others. Didn’t have a meal that was amazing but that seemed to be the case in Cala bona in general. Location is overlooking the sea which is nice and there is a long stretch of beach about a ten minute walk. The hotel is near another are of beach but it smells like sewage! Head to Cala Millor beach up the road. We didn’t love the area, it’s full of Brits abroad, very much a tourist area which we didn’t realise when I booked. Loads of touristy shops which is fine for a while then we just got fed up with it all. The restaurants are all for tourists and we didn’t have good food in any! Nothing too overpriced though, drinks seemed cheap. Best buy of the holiday was getting a boat to Cala ratjada, great day and beautiful place, lots of lovely restaurants there. Would go back to hotel if it was somewhere else!

The outside bar has been changed and the food served there is quite expensive but better quality. The staff are helpful. Although the new layout in the outside area isn't to our taste I would still highly recommend. Can't wait to get back..

The dining area is spacious with plenty of seating. The food is varied and the live cooking station provides an opportunity to sample different dishes. The pool area is excellent looking out directly over the sea. There are plenty of sunbeds and the Kafu beach club, directly next to the hotel, provides an excellent venue for the evening with music and a DJ. We will definitely be back.

This was because of it's location right on the sea front, friendly, accomodating staff, clean rooms and good food. This however might be the last time. The new (2024) Beach Club is not for us and speaking to other regular visitors it appears they feel the same. The loud music when you're trying to relax around the pool is a no no. There is no longer entertainment in the evenings so had to go to other bars. It appears they are catering for the younger market, NOT that we are of pension age by far! I agree with other reviews re the dining room, often running out of crockery and cutlery, food often cold even when you were the first in and although you can choose to have a dish cooked fresh for you, there was a wait and food was not cooked long enough. The lack of storage in the rooms, just another set of drawers would be useful. Who knows, we might go back.

• Nicky5000 (8/5): Peaceful and Relaxing Stay - We arrived to a very warm welcome in a large open plan reception bar area,from the first point of contact you just knew the entire staff were going to be friendly and attentive, check in was quick and easy. There were two points of information we weren’t aware of after the receptionist finished giving us information about the hotel. Firstly that there are public toilets downstairs beside the gym and secondly that there is an “information point” of things to do in the area also down stairs by the gym, we discovered these on our third day. I’m going to start with the room as that is the only area where we were slightly disappointed. We were in room 305 and looking at the fire exit plan, it seemed to be the smallest on that floor. Everything was brilliant white which to us was cooling and relaxing. The rooms are non-smoking but this also includes the balcony which British and Irish people might not be aware of until they get there, there was a few smokers there when we were there and they automatically thought that they could smoke on the balcony, my husband didn’t but the room next door just did anyway, they must not of been aware of the full smoking policy as they were also smoking at the pool side also. The wardrobe is open planned with 12 hangers and only two shelves, not enough for a gay couple. We didn't ask at reception if they could give us more, we brought our own travel iron. There is a fridge in the room, you won’t get a litre bottle of water/coke etc into it, we bought 500ml bottles and had to lay them down on the shelf reducing the space. There was one two drawer until on one side of the bed and a table on the other, storage was very limited, my husband used one drawer and I used the other for underwear, swimwear therefore everything else had to remain on the desk for the week, making the room look cluttered all week. There was a safe in the room which was free, which is very usual in hotels or holiday apartments. It did work. I changed the code and checked it three times before using it. The balcony was overlooking the street, which meant we were always on show when people passed by but it also gave us a beautiful sea view, therefore I suggest hanging a towel on the balcony railing and enjoy the amazing view, The bathroom was tiled floor to ceiling with a large sand tone tile. There was products in the shower on slightly high shelf, I am assuming they were shampoo and body wash, I like my Molton Brown products so therefore I only used my own products so I can’t say what the quality was like but there was products there for customers usage, it does look like they will be adding more products into the bathrooms, as on our last day there we came back to find 5 product holders had been fitted in the bathroom, 3 in the shower and 2 by the sink and mirror. Just be aware that water does get out of the walk-in shower under the “door” seal and the white towelling bathmat does get wet. We booked Bed & Breakfast so our experience of the restaurant is just from a breakfast experience. I can't comment on dinner, however I was told by other guests that dinner was amazing but that’s third hand information. We didn’t wait to be seated for breakfast. We walked in and picked our own table as that is what everyone else seemed to be doing, there is a sign outside saying wait to be seated but we think that was for dinner. I’m not going to list everything that was available for breakfast, I would be typing for a long time. However there were cooked options, cold options, fruit, cereal, yoghurts, pastries, juices, hot drinks, prosecco, fruit, meat, smoked salmon, cheeses, preserves and a GLUTEN FREE section. I did hear only one person complain that there were no poached eggs but the hotel offered hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and omelettes (you pick the fillings and then cooked in front of you to order). When you look at the volume or food and all the different options the fact that they don’t offer poached eggs is a rather picky complaint and I only mention it so others see beyond the poach egg and enjoy everything else they have to offer. The waiting staff were very friendly and constantly on the go, clearing your empty dishes and plates. There didn’t seem to be a limit to the amount of times you could go to the buffet. If I was to be super picky the only thing I would say is maybe put a dessertspoon on the table setting with the knife and fork, as a couple of times during the week I had to wait to get someone’s attention to get a spoon for my yoghurt and fruit, once they saw me it was literally seconds before getting a spoon. I personally can not fault breakfast at all, it was amazing. There is a beach club beside the hotel that offers food during the day and drinks. Guests of the hotel can get a deal in relation to the beach club, we didn’t take this up, we did get drinks there and bring them back to the pool, it’s right next to the pool area. We did have light snacks there one day, but we ate them there as nobody else seemed to bring food apart from ice-cream to the pool area so not sure if that’s frowned on. At night there is music in the beach club, we could hear it in our room but it finishes around 22:30-23:00hrs so it’s not playing all night nor did it keep us awake. From our balcony one night I was able to see a fire eater in the beach club and another night I saw someone dressed in Indian head dress so there is clearly entertainment in the beach club. The jewel in the crown in my option is the pool area. I have been on many a holiday in my time including travelling to Australia and this is by far my favourite pool area, no question. You literally walk down the steps from reception, you have 3 rows of sunloungers, the pool and the sea. I can’t handle a lot of direct heat but they is a wonderful sea breeze which meant that I could actually sit out all day with my husband and enjoy it, as normally I’m back and forth to cool down. I was actually able to read my Kindle and enjoy the heat for a change, the hotel has used the vista to ensure the pool area is the one spot everyone wants to go to and with the beach club beside it, what’s not to love. There is also a full time lifeguard on duty at all times. Younger couples brought inflatables to the pool and I saw them asking the lifeguard about them, the inflatables never entered the pool so I am guessing that they can’t be used. The pool is maybe 15 meters in length so it’s unstandable. Two couples from Yorkshire brought their own mugs and they also weren’t allowed as they were breakable, which is totally understandable. I had such an amazing relaxing week at the Atolon, however would I stay here again, and my answer would be sadly no, this is because of us not because of the hotel or staff. We do need an apartment as my husband often goes to bed earlier than I and watching my tablet or reading doesn't work. An apartment suits us better than a hotel room as we discovered on this holiday. If the Atolon emailed me next week and said Nick we now have apartments I would be back in a heart beat. Apart from the few gripes with the room I absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay at Hotel Atolon & Kaafu Beach Club.

Nearly all food prepared in front of you. No huge vats of food lieing for ages. The staff are so friendly and helpful . They arranged for a mobility scooter for my dad. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean . We have visited 5 times and will return again.

Pool area plenty of beds & parasols, we saw it was cleaned down every morning. Towels also available for sun beds. Overall could not fault this hotel, wished we had found it years ago, we will be back next year for sure 😎😎

• MGHolmes2019 (10/5): Another great stay at Hotel Atolon. You have to try Kaafu Beach Club!!! - It was our 2nd time staying at Hotel Atalon, and we arrived the the first day of opening. Me and my wife have previously stayed in Alicia and Bonamar, both excellent hotels, but we prefer just bed and breakfast. We were originally booked in the double standard but upgraded to the double frontal sea view. The room was very spacious, clean, with excellent views of the pool and sea. Plenty of sun loungers which are all very comfy and the area is cleaned every morning. We had booked bed & breakfast and again the food did not disappoint. A variety of options, all freshly prepared and the staff were excellent. Poolside bar is excellent and the drinks are very reasonably priced. We did book a bed at the Kaafu Beach club. As hotel guests, you are eligible for a discount. We booked a premium bed for £120 and with this you get £100 credit to use at the bar and restaurant. The Cocktails and food were incredible! We had the Chicken Caesar salad, sushi chicken roll with the amazing croquettes. The staff really need to promote this side of the hotel because it is genuinely excellent. We had one slight issue with not having a shower head in the bathroom but the staff quickly sorted this within 5 minutes. The female owner is always around the hotel making sure everything is okay. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel, with good breakfast, decent pool area and a great location, then Hotel Atolon is where you need to book.

The food at the hotel was fantastic, and the service was excellent. The hotel’s location was great, offering easy access to various excursions. Cala Bona and Cala Millor are perfect spots for a summer vacation. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend it to others!

The Hotel was small and friendly, beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in great pillows, lovely hot showers every day, breakfast was great plenty of choice, rooms were small and very clean. Would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. just one thing the block behind reception main door didn't lock and anyone could of walked in, needs looking at. • DarronCroxall (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - I was a little apprehensive after booking this hotel and reading the reviews, but you have absolutely nothing to worry about and im a fussy traveller when it comes to hotels and rooms!!! When you first walk into the reception, the staff are super welcoming and looking out at the views over the pool to the sea it puts a smile on your face and reassures you that this is going to be good a place to stay...The rooms are a standard hotel room size tastefully decorated in neutral tones , the beds are super comfy and the linen is beautiful.....There is adequate storage and A/c , a fridge and FREE Safe... A TV with good English channels and fast reliable WiFi ..If you need it you can ask for a kettle and cups, bring your own Tea!! The bathroom has Free Shampoo and Conditioner and Hand Wash , a hairdryer and the most powerful shower i have ever had away from home....The balcony had a little bistro table and chairs and a wonderful side sea view of the sea and the promenade below.....The breakfast was very varied with good quality products and choices, it did get a little busy around 9am but dont panic, chill out and take your time!! The location of the hotel is fantastic right on promenade, Cala Millor one way and the harbour at Cala Bona the other... There is a little gem of a supermarket behind the hotel where you can get freshly made Baguettes and provisions and next to the hotel the are plenty of restaurants and cafes... i dont normally return to the same place twice , but i have just booked for next year, this is a little gem of a small hotel and i cant wait to return...
• Twiggy100UK (6/5): A disappointing experience - First views of the Hotel were encouraging with it's lovely sea view frontage and pool overlooking the sea. However the rooms were extremely disappointing. Apart from being extremely small with a lack of storage, there wasn't a scrap of colour in the room. Pretty soul - less and boring but spotlessly clean. As requested by email, there was a kettle and two cups in the room. A lot of things stayed in the case as there was nowhere to put things and the hanging space was small and not long enough for a dress. There was one bedside table with drawers and one small table the other side - why no drawers? But there was a safe in the room which was free. Also the rooms overlooking the side street opposite the hotel had all the comings and goings of deliveries and buses throughout the day usually starting about 6.00am or before, ending with the rubbish collection anywhere between 11.00pm and 2.00am in the morning. The food in the restaurant was very good. Not always hot, unless you queued for a freshly cooked meal, but lots of choice and varied. However, there were a lot of queues - the hotel was obviously full - and the food display was badly organised, often resulting in one queue getting in the way of another! Quite often the staff were disgruntled when they were asked for more plates, bowls, cups etc which kept running out. The swimming pool overlooking the sea was a fabulous setting and loungers were plentiful as long as you didn't want the front row. Towels were available for a refundable deposit. But the base beat of the all day long music could be heard all the way to the rooms on the other side of the walkway. There was also a lack of comfortable seating inside the hotel when the weather was windy or cooler, compared to the amount of people in the hotel and nowhere to sit in the bedrooms other than the bed and a high backed chair. No entertainment in the hotel at all. The reception staff were all helpful and very pleasant, however I wouldn't go back to this hotel.

• alex (8/5): - Very good location. Very clean rooms and very comfortable beds . Breakfast was excellent and the food in the kaafu restaurant was very good also Only thing we had a problem with was the air con stopped working on a regular basis
• Valentin (10/5): - We had an amazing experience at Atolon, especially liked the great location and pool right by the ocean, well equipped gym, outstanding breakfast and dinner buffet far beyond anything I've seen in this price class and highly friendly and supportive staff. Hotel and room was always very clean. We liked it so much that we ar planning to come back in the future.

Cabe destacar la amabilidad de todo el personal desde las compañeras de recepción, camareros en el restaurante, el equipo de cocina, las compañeras de Pisos y los compañeros de mantenimiento, enhorabuena a tod@s! La comida es de muy buena calidad y hay opciones variadas tanto en comida como cenas. Volveremos!
• Ana Maria (10/5): - Todo perfecto el trato del personal las instalaciones la habitacion una limpieza de todos los dias unas vistas al mar impresionantes el trato del cocinero los desayunos las cenas una variedad que en pocos hoteles he visto si volviara a Mallorca volveria a repetir y a quien vaya se lo recomendaria .

• Ann-Catrin (10/5): Fantastiskt läge vid havet - Bodde på hotellet första gången 2022 och var så nöjda. Brukar vanligtvis inte åka tillbaka till samma ställe men vi valde att börja med fem nätter på hotellet vid årets resa. Lika underbart i år. Bra frukost och kvällsbuffé, väl värt den kostnaden. Tillmötesgående personal när jag mailade i innan om vilket rum vi ville ha. Läget på hotellet är oöverträffat. Rekommenderas varmt att bo på hotellet. Enda nackdelen är att hotellet ’tillåter’ att folk blockerar stolar som sedan står oanvända i många timmar innan de används.
• Christian Max (10/5): - Very clean and well located accommodation! We liked the food and the selection the best! The rooms were rather minimalistic, but still very clean. We may come back next summer!!
