• Stefan (10/5): Schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage – empfehlenswert - Las Torres de Ugarte ist ein sehr schönes Hotel in der Altstadt von Arequipa, direkt in der Nähe der Mauer des Klosters Santa Catalina. Mit Uber von und zum Flughafen in 25 Minuten für ca. 25 PEN. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und der Plaza de Armas sind bequem in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer im liebevoll gestalteten, kolonial angehauchten Innenhof, der ein echtes Highlight ist – inklusive einer großen Schildkröte, die sich ab und zu blicken lässt. Die Betten waren bequem, das Bad hatte jederzeit warmes Wasser und das Zimmer war mit einer Klimaanlage zum Heizen und Kühlen ausgestattet. Das Personal hat uns ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen und war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet auf der Dachterrasse war super und ausreichend; zwei Mitarbeiterinnen bereiten dort alles frisch zu. Zum Abschluss unserer Peru-Reise wollten wir uns etwas Besonderes gönnen – und dieses Hotel war genau die richtige Wahl. Auch wenn es etwas teurer war als andere Unterkünfte auf unserer Reise, hat es sich absolut gelohnt. Wir werden unseren Aufenthalt in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten. nichts zu bemängeln

• Irene (4/5): Abgesehen von den Bettparasiten gut - Gute Lage in der Nähe des Plaza del Armas, der Garten ist angenehm Wir waren als eine Gruppe von 3 Personen im Hotel, in einem Einzel- und einem Doppelzimmer. - Als wir uns an einem Nachmittag in unseren jeweiligen Zimmern im Hotel aufhielten, verschaffte sich eine Hotelangestellte Zutritt, ohne anzuklopfen. Als sie von uns verdutzt angeschaut wurde, hat sie die Zimmer jeweils rasch wieder verlassen. Dies kam uns deshalb seltsam vor, weil die Reinigung der Zimmer bereits abgeschlossen gewesen war und sich uns nicht erschloss, weshalb ein weiteres Betreten der Räume nötig war. - Es gibt einen Schädlingsbefall. Alle drei von uns weisen nach unserem Aufenthalt im Las Torres de Ugarte Bissspuren von Flöhen auf. Wir waren in den Zimmern 201 und 205, wobei die Gäste von 201 stärker betroffen waren. Beim Check-out wurde der Rezeptionist davon in Kenntnis gesetzt. Er bekundete Bedauern, wirkte aber nicht überrascht. Unser Eindruck ist dass das Hotel um den Befall weiss, und diesen selbstständig zu bekämpfen versuchte. Dies aber erfolglos, und ohne die Gäste davon in Kenntnis setzen zu wollen. Deshalb ist die allgemein sehr gute Bewertung dieses Hotels für uns nicht nachvollziehbar.

Bien situado, instalaciones cómodas, habitaciones agradables, amplias, camas confortables. Personal especialmente amable. Desayunos muy abundantes y variados incluido el lunch-box que te facilitan al salir de viaje muy temprano (yogur líquido, fruta, galletas, bocadillo, biscocho,...). Nos facilitaron el acceso a un taxi de confianza para viajar al aeropuerto. No podría mencionar nada en nuestro caso.

In the interim, I left my backpack at the hotel. When I got back, I was surprised that my backpack was already waiting for me in the room. A clean room, good breakfast, good location, welcoming staff - those are the points I would expect from a good hotel. Personal service, staff who think about the guest - those are the points that make a hotel an excellent hotel. This one is exactly that. The room contained a writing desk. I would add a desk lamp so that it could also be utilized in the evening

• Tinka (10/5): - Great stay in a fantastic location, close to all major sights in Arequipa, shops and restaurants. Extremly clean, helpfull staff, a friendly turtle in the courtyard🙂. We arrived early, but could already go into our room as it was ready. The room is spacious, great shower. The breakfast was ok, we especially enjoyed the view from the rooftop terrace at breakfast.
