• DELPHINE (8/5): Bien, je pourrai y revenir - L'hôtel est très bien placé au pied de LAS SETAS endroit où ça vit bien avec accès faciles à toutes les méandres de ruelles... Style de déco sympathique. Hôtel petit propre avec du personnel agréable, un petit déjeuner complet pour tous les goûts, pas exceptionnel, mais bon. Nous avons eu une chambre qui donnait sur cour donc sans nuisance sonore. Il manque, à mon goût, des petits conforts ... pas de possibilité de se faire un thé en chambre et pas de miroir grossissant ni de tablette pour poser les affaires ni de brosse à WC dans la salle de bain.

• Peter (8/5): Ordentliches Hotel direkt bei den Setas de Sevilla - Das Hotel liegt direkt am Platz mit den Setas de Sevilla. Abends kann man von der Dachterasse des Hotels das Lichtspiel der Setas geniessen. Das Hotel ist konservativ eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, etwas eng. Das Personal war eher uninteressiert, aber hilfsbereit.

• Colette W (8/5): A nice hotel but a few adjustments would improve it further - A pleasant small hotel with interesting furniture/decoration/artefacts. Very welcoming front desk staff with 24 hour coverage and storage facilities for luggage. There was a nice ambience and the location was easy walking distance to most of the 'major' attractions. The rooms were clean and had airconditioning which was needed. Plenty of hot water during the day. There was a good and varied breakfast to suit most tastes. I had a small issue with a faulty bulb which was responded to with profuse apologies and a very swift resolution. 1. The breakfast hours were 8-11am but the breakfast room was too small for the number of guests - especially if early tours were booked. An earlier opening time would have eased congestion, we couldn't get in until 8.40 one morning. 2. One of our 3 rooms had a very small window which made the room dark and dreary. 3. We tried the rooftop bar twice - the first time at 10.45pm and there were no staff available so we gave up. The second time was around 6.30pm when it was staffed but the selection of drinks did not suit (no Cava available). 4. Beware - I ALWAYS pay my bills in Europe in euros (have done so for a decade plus) as I have a bank card that gives a perfect bank exchange rate with no added fees. Despite Booking.com confirmation that I would pay in euros, the bill was charged to my account in GB pounds prior to arrival without specifically asking for my consent to pay in pounds which added nearly 6% to the total cost. Unfortunately the desk staff were unable to help after first being adamant that it was my bank at fault.

• Jane (10/5): Perfect spot next to the Setas de Sevilla - My goal was to visit the Setas de Sevilla and they are literally outside. We needed to park our car and the hotel was so helpful with getting into the lot and out again. Perfect place for exploring Seville. -

• FlavioTT (7/5): Ótima localização em Sevilha - A principal vantagem desse hotel é a localização, próximo a tudo, restaurantes, bares, pontos turísticos, da pra fazer tudo à pé. Equipe prestativa. Café da manhã bom. Pelo custo, deveria ser um pouco melhor. O quarto é muito pequeno, apertado, não muito confortável. Elevador estreito. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor.

Un parking disponible en centre ville mais attention à la taille de votre voiture car l’accès est étroit… Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées, on entend les gens dans le couloirs et les portes claquer. La télévision est plus un écran d’ordinateur portable qu’un écran plasma. Le petit déjeuner pas fameux. Le prix du parking : 25€ par jour

• Christoph (9/5): - Gute Lage um Sevilla zu Fuß zu erkunden. Super Mitarbeiter und sehr schöne Dachterrasse. Auch mit Bar, war bei unserem Aufenthalt leider noch geschlossen. Schöner Innenhof. Sehr sauber. Da unser Zimmer im Innenhof im Erdgeschoß lag, störte nur die Seniorengang, die bei der Rückkehr Nachts um ca. 1:30 Uhr in die Unterkunft sehr laut war. Man kann sich ja schon vorher für ein Treffen um 10 Uhr früh verabreden und muß das nicht über den Innenhof brüllen. Dafür kann aber das Hotel nichts für!

• Robert (5/5): Bilder schöner als die Realität - Meine Bewertung zum Hotel „Palace Sevilla“: Es ist sehr zentral gelegen. Das „Setas de Sevilla“ liegt direkt vor der Tür. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Hotelzimmer war relativ klein. Zu zweit kann es hier und da schon mal recht eng werden. Für Koffer oder Kleidung ist kaum Platz vorhanden. Der Schrank ist eher schlecht als recht als Kleiderschrank zu bezeichnen, da er maximal Platz für ein paar Jacken bietet. Die Einrichtung ist recht einfach und entspricht nur teilweise den ansprechenden Bildern bei Booking. In meinem Fall war der Kleiderschrank gebraucht und wies Schäden auf. Die Zimmerwände waren teilweise sehr stark verschmutzt, was für den Preis doch eher enttäuschend war. Die Beleuchtung war teilweise defekt. Eine Nachtischlampe war nicht vorhanden, sodass immer die unangenehme Neon-Raumbeleuchtung verwendet werden musste. Der Fußboden ist nicht, wie angegeben, aus Parkett, sondern aus Laminat, welches sich bereits an einigen Stellen löste. Der Fernseher muss noch aus dem Jahr 1995 stammen, er hat die Größe eines 17-Zoll-Monitors. Es gab zwei Programme, von denen eines nicht funktionierte. Die Sauberkeit hielt sich in Grenzen. Das Bad hatte eine nette Marmorfolie an den Wänden. Alles in allem kann ich sagen, dass die Lage praktisch ist und das Personal sehr freundlich ist. Der Schlafraum ist doch recht teuer und relativ unpraktisch.

• D'Antoni (7/5): Soggiorno a Siviglia - Hotel Palace Sevilla si trova sotto l'imponente struttura di Las Setas, a pochi metri dal centro storico e dai più importanti monumenti. La centralità dell'ubicazione si contrappone agli arredi vetusti e consumati, che certo non giustificano il prezzo alto delle camere. In compenso, la pulizia,la gentilezza del personale, la ricca colazione dolce e salata compensano ogni piccola mancanza (ad esempio , manca lo scopino wc,  manca il set cortesia in bagno, i rubinetti caldo-freddo sono montati al contrario). La nostra stanza,  affacciandosi sul patio interno, è risultata silenziosa e tranquilla. Un plauso particolare alla receptionist Sarai che si è rivelata preziosa e disponibile per ogni nostra esigenza.

I arrived close to midnight and the receptionist on duty was lovely - despite his broken English and my non existent Spanish we had a lovely conversation
