Aircraft noise very high
Difficult staircases

- Sibongile (9/5): - Location, staff and service was fantastic nothing
- Katrina (10/5): Great stay - Lovely friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Close to the airport. It would have been nice if the bar was open.
- Shawna (10/5): - How close you we were to the airport. Room was nice, quite and relaxing before our flight. Everything was great. Stayed for one night prior to our flight out of Gatwick.
- Wajih (8/5): -
- Rachael (8/5): Excellent value for money if needing something cheap with a good location - Incredible value for money!
Excellent location.
Well furnished room. Bathroom needed cleaning. Hairs on floor and a bit mucky on the walls/skirting boards

- Dave (8/5): -
- Robert (5/5): - The location was convenient to the airport. We had no hot water in the shower.
- Gillian (8/5): A clean, comfortable stay in an excellent location, value for money, short easy drive to holiday parking , the staff frie - The size of the room, location & staff were all excellent. A small complaint is that the cooked breakfast was served on a cold plate so that the food easily chills especially the lukewarm warm mushrooms 😬 and no marmalade…..
- Linda (7/5): - Convenience for airport and saved me a long drive through the night. Not easy to find by postcode. There was no heating in our room and very cold.
- Ubong (8/5): - The hotel is nice and comfy, good value for money n/a

- Church (3/5): - Plenty of parking The room was tired, wallpaper peeling off wall . The bed was very uncomfortable and you can hear everyone else 's movements door shutting, talking, toilets flushing, water running in sink . We we're only there for six hours so didn't try the shower.
- Steven (9/5): -
- Annette (6/5): Was quite difficult to find on very narrow country roads which were about to be closed in May for works would make even - My room was really small compared to member of my family who had a huge room for the same price. It was cold I had to ask for a throw received a small blanket. It was in a corner through heavy fire door through to two annex type rooms like an add on. I could hear the bathroom flush being pulled. I wished I had asked to be be moved to feel more safe as there was no direct access to the main corridor.
- Mr Robin (9/5): Not the Ritz, but decent, convenient, clean, and comfortable, with wonderful front-of-house staff. - Although a bit 'tired', the Waterhall was decent, clean, comfortable and wonderfully welcoming. Good rural setting, although air-traffic noise might upset some. It didn't me. The whole place needs a bit of a face-lift, but it wouldn't stop me from staying again.

- charmaine (10/5): We loved how quaint the building was. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again. Great v - It was comfortable and clean. After reading negative reviews I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. We loved it. The only negative point was that the bar wasn’t open in the evening and they didn’t serve food.
- Piecar 1 (10/5): Nice place. Somewhat remote - Lovely little room on a quiet lane. Had a fridge hot water immediately. Wi Fi was good . Nice front desk lady. Big comfy bed. Lots of pillows. Lots of outlets. Bedside lamps. Good safe parking. It's right on the landing path of jets, but I never heard one in the room Not a negative, but you really need a car to get here. And take it slow up the road. It's single lane with well trashed pullouts . The locals burn down the lane , but you shouldn't. The bathroom was a lil tite

- Dean (8/5): Comfortable and spacious. Great value for money - I had a great room and stayed here for two weeks whilst training at Gatwick. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great location for the airport.
- Sandra (10/5): Clean, comfortable hotel in gorgeous surroundings - We had our original booking at a different location advise us they had an issue that couldnt be rectified for our overnight stay. We were almost at the hotel so we had to find somewhere appropriately near Gatwick airport for travel to our cruise in the Caribbean the next day. It was this four star hotel that came to our aid and only cost £10 more for the two rooms booked than we originally paid for the guest house previously booked. Nothing everythjng was finebforxan overnight stay. We were told no mesls were available unfortunatly as the owners sister had had a serious accident that afternoon sndvthey had to be at the hospital. This was fine for us though as we had already booked a restaurant for that evening anyway thinking wed be staying in the guest house.
- Colin (8/5): Relaxing venue - Very peaceful and isolated despite only being a 10-15 minutes drive to Gatwick airport. Set in lovely countryside my room was clean and comfortable.
- Ken (9/5): -
- Molly Jade (1/5): - bed bugs and cleanliness
- Ernest (8/5): Close to Gatwick, clean and convieient - Close to restaurants and Gatwick airport. On the flight path to Gatwick, planes overhead coming into land.
Classed as an executive suit, with microwave, kettle, table and chairs - but no cutlery, not even spoons for tea / coffee and only 2 plates. TV in kitchen area but lounge where you’d expect to be seated to watch TV was in the opposite area in conservatory area.
- Debra (6/5): Good for price - Nice and easy proximity to Gatwick airport Microwave in the room had dried food in it and electrical box on the wall was buzzing all night, a bit distracting while trying to sleep
- Carina (10/5): Great location nice and quite great value for money my 2nd here will definitely stay again. -
- John (6/5): Will not be staying there again - The room was adequate but the shower was not up to standard, poor water flow Breakfast was poor, hot underaverage food put on cold plates. Cheapest variety and poorest quality of everything
Our whole party of five felt the same

- Sandra V 82 (7/5): - Ubicacio a prop de l'aeroport La calefaccio no escalfa massa. Es bastant antic tot
- Ioana Vasluianu (8/5): Nice place for one night - We liked that it is close to airport, easy access and parking on hand. The place is a bit outdated but it was clean and we had everything we needed for 1 night.
- zoran (1/5): -
- Keith (7/5): A comfortable and very efficient place to stay - in our case when meeting another family member. - Check-in was very smooth. Car park is directly opposite the hotel. The hotel is easy to reach to and from the airport. Very little could have been better given the location directly under the flight path from the main airport runway. We did however appreciate the flight 'curfew' between 10pm and 6am.
- Salvador (1/5): I arrived 0055 am, a guest opened the door, reception closed. I sat till 3 am and left. Refund money -
- Abbas (10/5): -
- Andrea (9/5): One night family visit - Very easy to get to and great helpful staff. Breakfast was a great start to the morning.
- Daniele (6/5): -
- Claire (6/5): Value for 1 night but improvement needed. - It was value for money. The free parking was a big plus point and there was shower gel provided. Lots of tea, coffee and sugar, milk in the room. The fridge and microwave would have been useful if staying more than 1 night. Check in- I went to the address provided on the booking info to be told we'd been moved to their other hotel up the road (no prior communication to this had been provided) when we found it the guy checking us in was quite rude and ignored us after serving the person in front whilst he carried on doing something. When he gave me back my ID asked if it was really me and how old the photo was. Rude!!
Room- Went up to our room to find it wasn't the one I had booked which would have put my daughter in a separate room section of a family room (for less noise/waking) as the photo when booking showed. It had been a long day and I couldn't be doing with the hassle of going back to reception.
Walls are tissue paper thin and I could follow the TV programme on in the next room. No heating on in the room but there was in the corridors. Not sure how clean the shower was as there was pubic hairs in the tray. I didn't use the shower.
Breakfast- had to order the night before and choose a time. 9am, we arrived as specified and still waiting 30 minutes for it. The sausages were cooked but cold. Had to ask for the mushrooms which had been ordered (wish I hadn't- tinned and put in the microwave for 30 seconds, absolutely revolting). The fried egg looked like it had been dropped and the hash browns were barely cooked. Breakfast was taken back and the whole thing was put in the microwave for 30 seconds. Not really even heating the sausages which were the issue. What's the point in stating a time and then still being so late.
The breakfast room had the world's slowest kettle and very unstable chairs. 3rd time lucky to find one I felt confident to sit on.
Would I stay again - possibly if for 1 night but it didn't feel welcoming and has a very confused decoration and vibe.
- ALEXANDRU (2/5): disapointing for 3 stars hotel - comfortable matress , free parking, welcoming staff Poor heating, shower -water very hot or very cold , dusty in the cupboards room, broken chair , spiders and home spiders , radiator very visible dirty , broken walls and I was able to hear snoring from the other room . general aspect of the room not welcoming . sorry for these words but was disapointing for 3 stars
- Chris (9/5): Great location and excellent value for money - Nice host, breakfast was awesome, nice room
- Abbas (10/5): -
- Ugochukwu (7/5): -
- Patrick (5/5): Didn’t stay, booked another hotel instead - Nice hotel, shame about the bed bugs Refused to refund my stay when I asked
- Dean (8/5): Did the job for the short time we were there. -
- Kirstie (8/5): Great location comfy beds - Cheap and beds really comfortable Dated and needs modernising
- Emmiex1990 (6/5): Pleasant enough but no facilities to have a wash. - Comfortable bed, clean enough, tea coffee provided, nice view, fridge and microwave if needed Walls were paper thin... Could hear everything the man next door was saying on the phone. Shower not working and no bath plug! Luckily the lady at front desk let me use another room but this should have been checked in advance.
- Joseph Phil (7/5): - Location, spacious rooms and free parking One of the rooms I booked, 104 had no heating and some sockets were not working
- Abbas (10/5): -
- IAN (8/5): hotel was clean and in a tranquil setting , comfortable spacious room with all facilities , - the room was very good, very clean and everything worked fine , apart from the WiFi password didnt work but was not a problem to us , the bed was very comfortable and we didnt notice any noise from planes going over , the full English breakfast was very good , not buffet style but cooked to order and service was great . a big plus was being able to leave our car parked there for the week while we flew out of Gatwick , a 15 min taxi ride . was a little disappointed we couldnt get an evening meal on site, only option would have been local pub a mile or so up the road but after a 6hr drive we decided against it ....
nothing to blame the hotel for but our flight was early morning , we booked a taxi for 5.30am through the direct phone line in reception , but due to taxi firm sending the driver to wrong hotel we left just after 6am after i had to ring them twice !!!, got to check-in with 10mins to spare. apparentley there are 2 `Trivelles` hotels lol .

- Marian (6/5): - Quiet location. Breakfast you have to book in advance and it's from 7AM. 8.00 AM during the weekend. It doesnt say when you do your booking, otherwise I wouldnt pay for it. Not convenient for someone who needs to go to work early in the morning. So could not have it even I payed for it. In the same time I have booked another room in this hotel chain and it was the worse decision and experience ever.
- Olukayode (9/5): - Great value for money. NA
- Patrick (9/5): Excelllent, even if it is on Gatwick flight path! - A hidden gem, perfect for a one night stay, already booked to come back Terrestrial TV didn’t work but wasn’t an issue
- Alex (8/5): - Staff helpfull Nothing
- Vitalijus (10/5): -
- GARRY (5/5): - the room was comfortable enough, bed was comfortable When the booking was made was a bath was in the room, when on arrival no bath was in the room, also there was no shower curtain or door so the floor got very wet, very slippery just waiting for an accident, also never saw any staff apart from checking in,so if there was any issues wasn,t anybody to talk to.
- Abbas (10/5): -
- Helen (10/5): - The hotel was in a lovely location the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay again.
- Abbas (10/5): -
- Garry (7/5): -
- Alina (10/5): One night - Very comfortable bed .
- Katia Chiozo (6/5): - The room was large, the two beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. The road to the hotel is bad, with no lighting, and is truly a rural road. The hotel is near Gatwick Airport, but there are no signs to guide you there. Even using Google Maps, it indicated a location that wasn't correct, and the gentleman who helped us suggested we drive even further to reach the hotel. So, unfortunately, the experience wasn't very pleasant.
- Linf (8/5): -
- Robert (9/5): A cheap room for the night which delivered on all the things which matter. - Having read some of the other reviews, I have to admit to being a little nervous but there was absolutely no need. Like many others, we booked this hotel for its convenient location near Gatwick for an early flight, it's low cost and its inclusive parking. For the little extra it cost, I booked the Suite with Garden View. I was very pleasantly surprised. For what we paid, I would have been more than satisfied with a room which was warm, dry and clean. The room was absolutely all those things, as well as having a lovely bathroom and a nice conservatory to relax in. The carpet was clean, the bedding fresh and all the touch surfaces of the room were clean and free of dust. The fridge was a little bit noisy (I'm quite a light sleeper), but since we weren't using it I propped the door open and turned it off. Due to leaving early we didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on it. But the room has a lot of charm and character and I am not one for boring square hotel rooms. Honestly at this price, (which includes parking by the way! I don't think I found another hotel in the area which included parking in the price) I really can't complain about much. Are there things which could be better? Yes, in truth there could be. Mainly it's that lot of the maintenance which has been done has rather a DIY feel to it, and there is dust if you go looking for it, in corners and behind units BUT at this price? I'll quite happily live with those things. Frankly I've paid a lot more to stay in chain hotels which are in a much worse state. I think my biggest disappointment is due to arriving after dark and leaving before it got light, I didn't get chance to see the view from our conservatory. Next time I have an early start at Gatwick, I'll be coming back here, no question!
- Vlad (5/5): If you dont like working there, just leave. no need to be miserable. -
- Duane (10/5): Amazing stay - The staff were extremely helpful and nice The service was great.
