• mdh691 (2/5): ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ - Rome situation is very bad and they keep 500 qr. for deposit it is normal but problem will be only when you check out they show different excuses and problems and they will deduct from your deposit money they scam with everyone before going to this hotel Be careful I am mentioning some pictures of what kind of rooms they provide to the guests

• loganj210 (2/5): Poor treatment of me and my family, dirty rooms, outdated and over priced - If I could give this place zero stars I would. Starting from our check in, the receptionist was exceptionally unprofessional and rude in her tone when responding to questions. They insisted on a “deposit” even though we booked and paid our full stay online. The front of house manager seems to be running a scam on towels and accused us of not returning them. They made us wait more than 15mins for our refund upon checking out, when though I vocalized more than once that we needed to leave to make our flight. Furthermore, house keeping never arrived on our final two days for some reason leaving us with soiled towels and an untidy room. They also charged us a 25 riyal for not having cash for the deposit payment, refusing to pay it back to us. I am convinced that they’re running a scam this way judging on all the similar experiences of others at this hotel. I do not recommend it, it’s over priced and outdated. You will get more at an even better hotel in West Bay, there is no shortage of it
• J8645JPmanuelm (2/5): Bad service - Worst service you will ever have. We asks for a manager to assist us and requesting for consideration as we book to meet up with friends. They didn't allow us to come up in the room. As per the guy that talk to us. His name is Tony and seems his approach to us is more than a hotel security and he react all the time during the conversation instead of responding. His rude also the way he talk to us maybe because we're Asian that's why he doesn't even show any professional approach and instead of explaining nicely. His trying to show that we don't know anything. And telling us that all the rules is written on the paper that sign of our friends that come first to the hotel and insisting that, we should go through the whole thing while our friends are rush to sign in the reception and not being told of the timing. Considering that we booked the hotel through platform and there was none being mentioned that we cannot come up late at night even though, we booked the hotel untill the following day.
• eunioam (2/5): Worst and unprofessional manager - If you're thinking of reserving in this hotel, I would not recommend it due to its manager and receptionist that are extremely unprofessional, rude and dishonest with the quality of service that they're giving towards their costumer. They are very poor in handling costumers needs, concerns and quality of hospitality. The manager to be specific is extremely rude as if they are the only hotel that can be stayed in doha. Unprofessional, incompetent, liar and unethical to handle costumers needs. The costumer may not be always right yet the manager should point out the policy with more politeness without shouting at the costumer and make necessary consideration and arrangement. Btw, if you call them ahead of time and confirm with your needs, they will change their statement after the booking was made in the hotel. The magnum hotel management should be thinking of replacing their desk staffs with more qualified, hospitable and professional in dealing with costumers' matters. But despite it all, I do commend the door staff for being polite and courteous amidst what happened.
• Samir (8/5): - Polite staff. Dibin at reception very helpful to change my room immediately. Other security staff friendly and chatty. Swimming pool staff helpul and clean. Close to city centre walkeble distances mcdonald's open 24 hrs inside mall. Handy store on 3rd floor buy milk ans various options Restaurant on gound floor friendly staff and nice pastries Wifi access faster and convenient across the property. Recommended place to stay and visit Qatar for best amazing experience. Uber best option easy cheap and faster availability. Metro station closely 10 min walking distance and clean trains.

• domingo javier (8/5): Apartamento muy amplio pero sin menage de cocina - El apartamento de tres habitaciones es muy, muy amplia (150 m2 aproximadamente). Dos habitaciones con cama doble, una de ellas con baño completo ensuite y otra habitación con dos camas. Todas las habitaciones con tv de plasma. El salón es muy grande y cómodo con una gran mesa, y tres sofás. además del baño de la habitación principal, hay otro baño completo y un aseo en la entrada del apartamento. La cocina es independiente y tiene todos los electrodomésticos necesarios, vitrocerámica con cinco fuegos, combi completo, lavadora y lavavajillas. Ahora viene lo menos bueno que solo es referido a la parte de la cocina, no hay prácticamente menage de cocina, nos encontramos conn 3 tenedor y tres cuchillos y cuatro cucharas y solo dos sartenes pequeñas. He enumerado todo el menage. Les pedimos algo más nos dieron hasta completar seis cuchillos, seis tenedores y seis cucharas. Puedes cocinar pero cosas sencillas. También, como algo positivo es que te limpian el apartamento todos los días. También reseñar que te piden un depósito, en efectivo, nosotros les dimos 100 euros y fue suficiente.

Had an overnight stay with friends and family, aside from getting the room 1 hour late we were charged 100 QAR for a "missing towel" upon check-out. I asked the staff, how are we supposed to know how many towels were there in the room? No staff accompanied us during check-in, no checklist, whatsoever in the room. Then how will we know if there were 2, 3, 5, or even 10 towels there? They just kept saying "The room is complete upon turnover to the guest". I told them that we were MORE THAN WILLING to have our bags checked by them, but they just kept on insisting that the towels were complete when we checked in. Special mention to MR. RAM, the "housekeeping supervisor" during our checkout. He is very unprofessional and arrogant! Immediately raised his voice when we questioned how many towels were supposed to be there.
• Q2365DGdariam (2/5): Terrible Experince - We moved in Magnum hotel in February 2023 (me, my husband and 2 children), unfortunately we signed a contract for one year. As we were new in Doha and did not know better than. Hotel is positioned 5 star. But in fact it is 2-3 star. When we first looked at it. I seemed ok. But to look and live is two different thongs. Once we moved in we found out that garbage premise on each floor is always full, and I mean full u can hardly open the door. Therefore we saw cockraches in the room. And hotel could not offer anything better but traps(((((( not to forget we have children. Parking area is so dirty, like if it never gets cleaning(((( Kitchen, bathrooms , some walles need a good renovation. Pool are is so old. My son hurt his arm on sharp edge of brocken tiles. Pool area is connected with asian restaurant and the smell in pool is like in the kitchen with fish production. Any dialog with management with request to move out did not have any sucess. As per contract we have to pay penalty for breking contract earlier than a year. But the most incredible thing is our nest door apartment. Every weekend new one night residents have very loud party till morning. Security is passive about it. Every weekedn we call 4 times. Security comes and can not do anyting. So none can sleep in my apartment.

• 413farrahv (2/5): Poor services and the most RUDE customer service - Very poor services, duty manager and tunisian front desk receptionist are so rude. Need training for customer service. They are scammers by accusing customer of the broken appliances. All reviews about the scam are true so be careful coz you have to pay for the things that you have not done. Badly recommended.
• Kelly (8/5): Good for the price - I stayed in the 3 bedroom suite. The rooms and living room were really spacious. The kitchen was separated, which was nice. The whole suite could use an update. It's just dated. The customer service, I thought, was pretty good.
• lyonnedaniels (2/5): Worst Eid holiday stay ever. - The guy from front desk was very rude. He was impolite already when we checked in and he was not professional up until the succeeding days. He’s using his phone with airpods in his ear. Moreover, there is construction happening as early as 7 am
• aprilreinaf (2/5): SCAM - First of all the hotel need some major renovation especially the kitchen. We held the 1st birthday party of my baby in their 3 BR APT w/ a very close approx 20 friends & family visitors. In our master bedroom w/ attached bathroom theres only 1 bath towel that me & my husband shared and didnt think much about it. At the check out we were asked to pay for 150 Qar for 1 bathtowel missing. I told them they can check our luggage, i even called my friends to check. I argue with them if 1 my guest took the towel why they will go inside our room if theres 2 available towel in common bathroom. But they are arguing this piece of paper that apparently a proof, i should've ask for a CCTV but we were so tired and want to go home. Also the supervisor handled the situation are very rude.
• ConfoundingNiNja (6/5): No way this is 5 stars - I have no clue how this is a 5-star hotel. It has a boutique vibe and some cute furniture but it is in need of repair throughout. The unit we stayed in had no hot water for showers and very uncomfortable beds, but sweeping views of the waterfront. We ate breakfast at one of the restaurants; it was expensive and not great. The pool area had a hot tub that was tiny with tiles cracked everywhere. Overall, I think the rating was inflated for the World Cup. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

• GOTOJUSTIN (2/5): Horrible experience from security - Aviary is a nice place to hangout. But few over reacting Securities are spoiling the show. Rest all staff are highly accommodating and supportive. All DJ's are also talented and brings up good vibe. Single star is only for the security Bar Staff & Service 10/10 Food & beverages 8/10 Ambience 8/10 Value for money 8/10 DJ's - 10/10 House band 7/10 I have pointed out the rude behavior of one particular security to the supervisor and he told they are being very strict because of the frequent fights happening there ; he told that few occasions bottles were thrown and fighting also happens and thus the security being over reactive.. If this is the case one might stay away from this place.. Would love to go back but will be hard to stay in the vicinity of such rude security and unless they rectify this pest ...this place is going down for sure....
• 664vm (2/5): Disappointing Experience - We booked a non-smoking room in this hotel for one day. While looking for my baby's bottle, I saw some rubbish under the bed, specifically a cigarette butt and used tissues. So disappointing to see such this given this hotel ranked as 5-star. Hope the management would ensure this incident won't happen in the future especially during a pandemic. Will never visit here again :(
• jomV1524KT (2/5): Horrendous - Have just finished a 5 day quarantine here with my family (2 adults, 4 kids). Can honestly say this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were limited on places we could stay due to our family size and this was literally the only 3 bed apartment that was doing the quarantine. Our apartment was dirty. I find it hard to believe that the rooms are thoroughly cleaned between guests which is worrying as it’s meant to be for quarantining. I suggest if you stay there you invest in bug spray as our apartment was crawling with cockroaches. It’s very dated, the furniture is shoddy, sofas stained. They supplied tea, coffee and sugar sachets in the kitchen but no kettle, what was the point?? Between the 6 of us there were 2 bath towels. We phoned and asked for more towels and pillows. We never received any. 2 litres of water provided on arrival but never anymore. Again, we asked and never got. Beds are like concrete. One of my kids has a nut allergy so there were a few items on the room service menu that weren’t safe. We made sure to only order food that was safe, this included the biryani. The first time we ordered it, it was fine. The next time it had nuts. Something for allergy sufferers to be aware of. The food was probably the nicest part of the stay there. I honestly find it unbelievable that this hotel has a 5* star rating. We could not wait to leave. After checking out the bellboy called 2 taxis for us to take us to our next hotel. Our new hotel was literally a 3 minute drive. They were being super sketchy about price so knew straightaway we were about to get scammed. After arriving at the new hotel they charged us 80qar (40 per car) which is absolutely ludicrous. Something to be aware of for other people. Karwa, Uber or careen are cheaper and better options! If I could give zero stars I would!
• issanasrawi62 (10/5): Excellent brunch at Shamrock - I thought I must write a review about the brunch at Shamrock Tavern and about the bar in general as it is definitely the best atmosphere in Doha with amazing service and food. I went brunching with friends and the food was really delicious, and to be fair on the staff, the Supervisor Mariam was just brilliant in managing all food orders and all the activities in general, and also I must mention the Chefs who cooked all this lovely food, and they both came to our table to make sure everything was to our liking, those are Ajayraj and Shamsher. Also our waitresses Sujata and Ireen and all others who were just going from table to table tirelessly. Thank you Chris and Mel for this lovely brunch, all the best
• sadjed1992 (10/5): One of the best bars in Doha - After many visits to this bar, I can say without doubt that this is one of the best bars in Doha, the ambiance is always present and the service is amazing, quick and efficient, highly recommended to anybody who is seeking a chill night in a good bar with great music! Shoot-out to Mary from Kenya, the greatest waitress in the bar, always helpful and cheerful, couldn't ask for a better night in her company!

The service, facilities, and policies are all mediocre that I have opted to checkout right after my first night; I couldnt afford to have the rest of my trip be ruined by choosing the wrong place to stay in. We had a 3 bedroom apartment for the weekend (5 of us) and were only given 2 towels; however staff were accommodating when asked. All equipment was tired or lacking - we had to ask for hairdryer (then first one was broken). Some Light fittings & sockets were broken and tired. When asked staff were reluctant to assist us in getting a taxi. We won't return.

• Raflin (2/5): Spacious but not meeting the standard - Not satisfied at all. I could not call this place a hotel. It is like a rented ordinary apartment. Construction job next door, hard to get towels, very small indoor swimming pool, interior of the Lift scratchy, etc. Apart from that location wise is near to city center, reasonable foods, and spacious.

• aktar (8/5): Adil the receptionist went great! - We reached the hotel by 8 am and our check in was around 3pm. Mr Adil the receptionist got the room ready and made sure we settled within 15 minutes. He did not charge a penny extra.

• rob (8/5): Great hotel, exceeded expectations. - Very nice hotel, very nice, spacious, clean room. Only issue was the windows not being fully sealed causing doors to chatter and you could hear the building work nearby, other than that lovely hotel and good value for money
• Verified traveler (6/5): value for money - The three bedroom suite was ok although bathrobe and hairdryer need to be requested.Some facilities were not working like sauna and steam room. Jacuzzi is small.
• jhaveri (8/5): Its more of an apartment complex. Location is good - Overall a pleasant stay, but housekeeping isn't as responsive and timely. The amenities are basic and not luxurious.
• Simon (6/5): Quantiy rather than Quality - This is a trade off between quantity – great and generous – and quality – ok but not special. It is conveniently located near the city centre mall and financial district on the edge of the diplomatic area, and is probably ideal for a family. However, the business traveller may find a more conventional hotel, as the furnishings are pretty basic and it lacks warmth. However, it has a well equipped kitchen and the two bed flat is very spacious.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great apartments - The apartments are absolutely fantastic. the rooms are clean and well maintained. the room service was quick and the food was pretty tasty too. i dint have a chance to use the pool and the spa but it looked impressive.
• Esther (10/5): Just perfect room and perfect service! - Me and my 9 other members stayed in the residence for about a week and we all had great time there. One of the reception staff upgraded 2 Two-bedroom suites to Three-bedroom suites for free since there was no twin beds, and reception staff were smart and they knew what they have to do for us. The suites are all clean, huge and well-decorated. They even provided us comlimentary bottled water everyday so we did not have to buy extra bottled water. The breakfast was great and the restaurant staff was ready to cook omelettes and bake pancakes. On the lobby, they provided their traditional tea and sweets for free. If I visit Qatar again, I will definitely stay here again!

• Mindy (8/5): Great value for the money - The Governor Suites is a nice, clean hotel that is conveniently located in the West Bay area. We had a huge 3-bedroom suite for a very reasonable price. The suite included a full kitchen and washer and dryer which was an added bonus. Definitely an excellent option for a larger group or family.
• Marwan (8/5): Great hotel, bad staff!! - Great hotel, they gave me a 3-bedroom suite with an amazing view, fantastic. However, hotel staff are very unhelpful, they don't smile at all, don't care about the customer needs, not supportive at all.....really a waste of a great hotel with such staff!!!
