- T7178OMsusang (10/5): Perfect location! - Fairfield Inn Chicago River North is a fantastic place to stay. It’s in a perfect location to walk to attractions and to get to the subway. The front desk agents were very friendly and helpful. Fannie and Javier were phenomenal hosts for the breakfast service. They made sure everyone had what they needed, and were full of helpful information about how to get around the city. Highly recommend staying here!
- 461Michael (10/5): Great experience for the family! - Just completed a 3-night stay at this hotel as we came into town to see the Cubs play the Mets. Best Pro: Javier and Fannie at the complimentry breakfast. They did an EXCELLENT job at greeting everyone when they walked in, keeping food well stocked, keeping the counter clean, and cleaning up the tables quickly. In addition, they came by to ask if we needed anything. I have stayed at many similiar hotels with this offering, they are the two best. Give them a raise! Pros: Convenient to transit to get to Wrigley, very friendly front desk staff that greated us leaving and entering the hotel and provied various recommendations, great location near so many food choices and a really nice part of town, and clean rooms. Cons: Across the street from a fire station and when they rolled out one night at 3 am, we were up for a while. But, I am a light sleeper. All in all, a good decison to stay here and would again.

- Turysbek (6/5): One thing I liked only a location and restaurant staffs. - Location is very good and staff is very polite, but the price for this hotel with it’s convenience very high. We couldn’t find simple water in rooms and tea. There was only coffee and I think vast majority of people prefer tea, so I believe that it is not difficult to put some packs of tea and electric teapot in the rooms.
- porkchop1496 (8/5): Great hotel in Chicago - This hotel was nice and clean and well priced. Literally the ONLY issue was that it was right across from the fire station, so I was affected as a light sleeper (the family was overall fine). The breakfast attendants were the nicest I've ever encountered, and housekeeping was fantastic. Front desk attendants were very friendly too. Room was big for a city location, with queen beds, and the front lobby had lots of space to sit. The location was otherwise very convenient to the loop and the Mag mile in Chicago, and we were able to walk everywhere, and could've easily taken the El had we needed to venture out further. Breakfast was good, although I would appreciate more granola toppings and daily bananas. The parking ($60/night, doubt we could've done better) was about a block away.

- ItchyFeetBTS (8/5): Good stay - again! - This is always a solid choice when we stay downtown. The location is great and the rooms clean and comfortable. The availability of a white noise machine and earplugs is a nice touch in a noisy city center. We appreciated having decent counter space and ample towel bars/hooks in the bathroom. Not being fans of shower gels, we also appreciated the availability of bar soap. The water pressure could be better and housekeeping needs to be more aware of bathroom supplies as both our Kleenex box and the body lotion bottle were empty. Breakfast was fine – the usual fare – and Javier was wonderful – friendly and attentive. We’ll be back.

Bardzo pomocna obsługa (poprosiłam o przedłużacz i pan technik pojawił się po chwili, pokój sprzątany każdego dnia i pr,emiła obsługa przy śniadaniu). Po wymeldowaniu, mogliśmy zostawić bagaże na recepcji i jeszcze pozwiedzać miasto przed wieczornym odlotem. Okna wychodziły na dach budynku, na którym znajdowały się dość głośne urządzenia. Z zatyczkami do uszu było ok :)

Went right to the airport to ask if they would hold our bags till check in time. They checked us in early and told us we could have breakfast too. Perfect location, very clean and friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is the pull out sofa bed was aweful

- Gary (8/5): Very Good Stay. - The staff at breakfast were very nice, helpful and friendly and they gave me suggestions on what to do in Chicago. The hotel staff in general were also very nice and helpful. The design and layout of the room was very nice. The water coming out of the shower was very weak and the shower head was not movible. The only or primary light sources were coming from the lamps and there were no bulbs on the ceiling to light up the whole room not even half of it.

- Mark (9/5): Excellent staff, location, and accommodations! Breakfast - is ok. - Room, service, and the exercise facility were all excellent. Location was excellent. The breakfast staff were 10/10. The standard warm eggs, sausages, etc were a 6/10, no waffle maker or pancake maker - which I really missed and kids enjoy -so that was a loss for me. Fresh fruit was good. Overall acceptable. Maybe A total 7/10 rating. The hotel is no nice and convenient that the breakfast just being ok is still 100% worth it.

- More_2_See (10/5): Our Go-To Hotel In Chicago - We visit Chicago an average of twice per year, as it is a central meeting point for our son from Wisconsin. Every visit, we stay at this Fairfield (at least six times) and every time they deliver an excellent experience. It's not fancy, but when we come to town, we are constantly on the go and only need a clean and comfortable room to sleep and shower. Fairfield has great beds and the housekeeping staff does a wonderful job. As everyone notes, the location could not be more convenient. And what really elevates the experience is the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Valet, front desk, housekeeping -- they all seem to sincerely want to make your stay better. Special thanks to Javier and Fannie who maintain the breakfast lounge. They could not be friendlier or more thoughtful -- both in service and also providing travel tips and recommendations for things to see and do. Fairfield provides a first-class customer experience and a great vale.

- David (9/5): Great location, great value, great attention. - Location is perfect, close to the main tourist attractions. Javier and Fannie attention is wonderful, always ready to help. Hotel is located in across the street of the fire department, so may be a little bit noisy, nothing extreme.

I took a star off because the pull out sofa beds cannot be used because they are such bad quality. The highlight of the place is definitely Javier and Fannie from the breakfast area! They went above and beyond for my family and made out stay so much better. They are such nice people!

- VNE (10/5): Great location, excellent staff - My sisters and I spent four night at this hotel and were extremely pleased with the experience. It's within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do and had easy access to mass transit. The rooms were clean and the amenities thoughtful. It's across the street from a fire station. They thoughtfully provided ear plugs, but we didn't need them. The staff were friendly and professional. One night, we couldn't get a cork out of our wine bottle, and a staff person at the front desk cheerfully pulled it out for us. One real highlight was the breakfast staff, Fannie and Javier. They did their job with efficiency, thoroughness, and friendliness. Fannie also served as a great ambassador and tourist guide for Chicago. She told us about some activities we could explore, making a point to tell us if they were free. We had a wonderful visit to the Conservatory that we would have missed, if she hadn't told us about it. I'm not a morning person, but Fannie and Javier helped start my day off right.

There are lots of restaurants in the area to choose from as well, and the location is fairly close to may attractions and sights. Lovely, clean rooms, the beds were comfy and the shower had excellent water pressure, even up on the 14th floor!
