• Susan (8/5): Would stay there again! - The room was clean and quiet, easy access to car, lovely lady brought me some free breakfast, good air con, decent size fridge and had a microwave oven. Decent value for the price. No complaints at all. Nothing at all!

• Janneke (8/5): Average motel - Good stay, nothing special, just as a motel must be. We got breakfast: sandwiches to toast, milk, cereals and jelly. That was nice but to us also unnecessary, as that's not something we would eat..

There was no where directly outside my room to park my car and when I didnt finish at uni until 5pm there were limited car spaces for me to park

• Ross (5/5): A bit dingy, but comfortable enough, except the smell. - Bed was very comfortable. Room was large. Staff were lovely. There was a terrible smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom door closed. The shower was not very effective We asked for gluten free breakfast options but we didn't get any.

• Vivienne (4/5): Lots of room for improvement! - Staff were very friendly and eager to help. The room was shabby with torn curtains and stained bed covers. We were supplied with one towel for two guests and had to retrieve the shower curtain from the garden and install it ourselves. The crockery in the kitchen cupboard was dirty and the supplied scrap of dishcloth was already stained from previous use. The freezer section of the bar fridge was ineffective and there was only one sink for both kitchen and bathroom uses which seems very unhygienic. Breakfast supplies were generous but erratic such as cereal with no milk or bread but no butter.

When I sat on the broken side I fell into hole unexpectedly. When I lifted the cushion I found some rubbish and debris including a used teeth flossing device.

• Tammy (8/5): Comfortable, basic accommodation for a reasonable price. - Room was clean enough and beds were comfortable. Staff willing to help whenever we asked for something. A simple breakfast supplied each evening made morning routines convenient, but sometimes the breakfast tray was delivered at 8pm, when I had jst got children in bed for the night. It should probably be delivered to the room by 6.30pm for guests convenience.

• Aron (1/5): Never again - I would like Hideaway motor inn to cancel the payment and refund in full as promised by them when I was there. If I never had this bad experience then I would never of found the next. I found a better place - City Centre Motel Armidale were the best 👌 👍. The receptionist (young lady) really impressed me by being able to not only fit us in but the breakfast was beautiful. Rooms great 👍 etc,etc... We booked on the road, happy to pay a little extra for a dual apartment as we had 5 people (family). It had been a long trip/day, just wanted to relax. As soon as we walked in my kids noticed a cockroach sitting on the towel that was on one of the beds. I quickly snapped a photo. Immediately went back to reception and said this is unsatisfactory. The rest of the room looked as if it had not seen a vacuum and surfaces looked sticky. We/both parties agreed that is not appropriate and they said a full refund would be processed. Still waiting for there confirmation of cancellation with full refund. Would love to forget i ever turned up, im embarrassed and I dont know why

The room was well appointed with a small sofa and kitchenette which was very convenient for a week‘s stay The room only got serviced once during the week. Bin was only emptied once. Even though guests were able to use the laundry, it was so messy, that we could not use it and had to find a laundromat
