- Luis (2/5): - This is a old and dirty place, humidity odor, washroom with mold. No water pressure impossible to take a shower. The worst part, my wife and daughter were attacked by a big dog, owned by the receptionist. The dog broke my wife purse and daughter got a terrible panic and nobody helped them. Terrible experience. Expedia need to report this place. DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

- Verified traveler (6/5): No fue tan confortable - La limpieza estaba muy bien. Hubo amabilidad por parte del personal. Mi cama era bastante dura, lo que me generó algunos dolores. Mi lampara no funcionaba. Quien estaba a cargo del desayuno se retiró antes del cierre de este el primer día. La siguiente mañana no había mucho que yo pudiera comer y me invitaron a comer en otro espacio del hotel que no era el comedor. Fue un poco extraño jeje. Aun así, en Ahuachapán no hay tantas opciones. Puedo decir que la plaza del frente es bonita para salir a pasear.
- FABIOLA (10/5): - Mi experiencia en la Casa de Mamapan fue excelente, las instalaciones muy adecuado a la epoca, las habitaciones, todo muy bonito me encantó uno como que se transporto a los 203 años que tiene la casa y el personal muy amable.

There are multiple restaurants around and this very cute plaza in front. The staff was helpful and kind. The lady helped me find healthy food around here Breakfast was ideal in my opinion A little of everything

We liked the fact that they had a variety of restaurants near by. The Santa Teresa thermal pools were near by which was a great activity that we enjoyed. It’s a very lively environment which I personally don’t have anything against. I would definitely stay here again.

- Liting (6/5): - The hotel is situated right in the corner of a bustling intersection with easy access to stores and restaurants. Check-in was fairly simple and the room is adequate. We had a dead cockroach in the shower and found a trail of ants. Do not get room one as it shares a wall with the cantina next door and the music did not stop until 9pm on a Sunday. Otherwise, the service was good and breakfast was yummy.

This was a very unique hotel furnished with antiques which I throughly loved. Rooms were comfortable. Air conditioning superb. Hot water in the shower. They provided body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was served. I would highly recommend La Casa de Mamapán. / Nos lo pasamos de maravilla aquí. Janeth y Melina fueron súper anfitrionas. Ambos fueron muy amables. Hicieron todo lo posible para hacernos sentir como en casa. Éste era un hotel único amueblado con antigüedades que me encantaron. Las habitaciones eran cómodas. Aire acondicionado magnífico. Agua caliente en la ducha. Proporcionaron gel de baño, champú y acondicionador. Se sirvió el desayuno. Recomiendo ampliamente La Casa de Mamapán.

Lo que deberia de ser claro es que no hay parqueo, el parqueo es la calle. El desayuno es muy basico pudiendo ser algo sabroso y generoso, en nuestro caso nos salio un cabello en el huevo que lo hizo aun menos atractivo y ya no se comio. Son cosas que deben mejorar.

- PO CHUAN (8/5): This is a nice place for vacation - Generally, its a nice place for family stay. We stay 1 night during Easter Weekend and everythings goes well. The service is good, food is aceptable, the hotel is clean, the only thing I want to say is the parking area is a little bit far away from the hotel (3 blocks) But I still want to go again in the future.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Expensive for what you get - Extremely expensive for very basic (though clean) accommodation. The room had no windows and was only dimly lit. The town had almost nowhere to eat (and the hotel restaurant didn't seem to be open for us as we didn't reserve in advance).

- Kevin (6/5): older quaint Hacienda style - The property has many positives, town centre next to church and square, busy quite picturesque and perfectly safe to stroll around the block. Building is old so rooms generally look inwards to shared internal lounge or courtyard. Some rooms small, no external window but all clean and reasonably comfortable. TV, con, WiFi, no fridge or tea coffee facility. Shower was not warm. Breakfast similarly basic, tipico local or fruit, toast coffee and juice. Staff friendly and helpful but only speak Spanish. We don't but it wasn't an issue. Local bar and restaurant friendly, as were all people in El Salvador. Would we stay here again?, yes, and not just because its well priced.

- Claire (10/5): Emplacement très agréable - Propriétaires très gentils. Hôtel en cours d'agrandissement. Excellent café et excellent petit-déjeuner. Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, il n'y a pas de restaurant ni de parking privé. Le stationnement est quand-même facile sur la rue autour du parc. Hôtel bien situé au coeur de Ahuachapan.
