- Helen (10/5): Modern, clean and spacious. - Lovely clean well sized bedroom and bathroom. Liked the fact there were two different sized towels each, bathrobes and nice complimentary amenity pack. Wasn’t sure why there was a torch in the wardrobe until we walked back from the pub and it was pitch dark. We had a downstairs room looking into the car park , an upstairs room would probably have a better view. Very handy location for the wineries which is why we were there.

Breakfast no longer included in the price of the room. We paid extra for a balcony which is not advised as it is a view of the driveway and car park.

The only issue we had was that the TV did not receive HD channels and did not provide any cable channels. Otherwise, a very nice stay. Breakfast was really nice and a welcome bonus.

You might expect a complimentary breakfast to be a little lacking, but not the case here. A genuine, delicious, made to order, hot breakfast from a decent menu of choices. I hope they can maintain this high standard, as it's very impressive.

Our room was big, bathroom well stocked with plenty of towels. Breakfast delicious and staff very attentive. The only complaint was rooms not serviced due to staff shortage. A lovely stay in flinders highly recommend the wine bar in the Main Street called Plonk and stink.

- Justine and Jeremiah (4/5): Disappointed - This hotel is not offering housekeeping at present. No warning of this except for a card left on the bad. Overpriced for what you get. The only bright spot was the included breakfast which was served at Georgie Bass across the way.

- Caitlin (8/5): - The hotel itself is lovely. Clean, crisp, and comfortable. The black out blinds are wonderful if needing to sleep during the day (or toddler nap time). The breakfast in the morning was spectacular. Food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Couldn’t fault them. It’s definitely worth upgrading to a Westall Room or a Flinders Suite as the Bauer Rooms “garden view” is actually just a view of the car park. The only downfall was the cleaning services. I understand it is a pandemic and there are certain OHS requirements, however we were travelling with a toddler and anyone that has children knows toddlers accumulate a lot of rubbish VERY quickly. We asked several times at reception if someone could remove our rubbish and not only was it ignored the first two times, the third time the cleaners only emptied one bin. The reception staff seemed annoyed about having to do it too which I thought was odd (isn’t it a hotel??) if it was such an effort for everyone they could have at least shown us where the skip bin was and we would have happily taken the rubbish out ourselves. Pretty poor. I’ve had better service at 3 star motels. Not what you’d expect from their “luxury accommodation” advertising. Apart from that, couldn’t fault anything else. If they lift their game with the cleaning I’d give 5 stars.
