• Alida (8/5): Staff excellent, lovely and clean hotel - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Having an elevator to the third floor was greatly appreciated Comfy pillows. Good choice at breakfast The food at their restaurant was delicious and we ate there many times. The massages at the in-house spa were very good View from the balcony room was lovely. Being woken every morning on our 8 day stay at 5am by the rubbish truck was a bit much. We don't wake that early at home for work. Unfortunately I can't wear earplugs as they hurt my ears. So my day started very early. We even closed the extra shutters but still heard it every morning. Also the street sweeper/cleaner comes by at 4am

• Cyril (2/5): Could have been better - Location was good and away from the crowds I would like to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay. We were assigned a first‑floor balcony room, but the balcony directly faced the hotel bar and restaurant. Because of the noise and lack of privacy, we had to keep the double doors and curtains closed at all times. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was to enjoy the river view from our balcony at night, but instead we received what felt like the worst view in the entire property. What made this even more frustrating is that we paid the same rate as the rooms on the higher floors, which clearly have a much better outlook. The hotel should not charge the same rate for this room. Even if it had been offered at a lower price, I still would not have booked it, because comfort and a proper river view matter far more to us than saving a little money. We requested a room change, but were told nothing was available on our first night. We booked well in advance specifically to avoid this situation, so it was extremely disappointing to start our stay this way. To appease us, the hotel offered a 30‑minute foot massage for each of us. While I appreciate the gesture, it did not address the core issue, and I was not satisfied with this peace offering. My wife ended up using both sessions and thankfully enjoyed the massage, but it did not change our overall disappointment with the stay. I also want to mention an interaction at reception that left me feeling disrespected. While I was waiting for assistance with exchanging money and asking again about a room change, the receptionist handed me the VND and then immediately turned her attention to another guest who had just approached the counter. As someone who has lived in New Zealand for many years, I am used to being treated with fairness and courtesy, and this experience felt dismissive and unnecessary. Overall, this stay did not meet the expectations we had when booking, and I hope the hotel will take this feedback seriously to ensure future guests do not

Kate, Sherry, Ann, Yuna and even the driver Ding are all such lovely, warm and considerate people. Genuinely warm not just "doing the job". Location!! Exceptional location. Close enough but not IN the bedlam. Breakfast and also the meals at the restaurant, were fabulous. Fabulously comfortable beds, deliciously hit water with great water pressure and appreciate the black-out curtains and absolute quiet. Really good at cancelling outside noise. Clean, clean, clean clean ! Never a concern about levels of cleanliness. Only because I have knee issues, after returning from an exhausting walk in the sun, those few steps onto the property are formidable. Don't change a thing though, we'll all have to sort our way through.

• Paul (10/5): Brilliant hotel, fantastic staff - This is a fantastic hotel. The location is very good, just a short walk from the old town. Our room looked out onto the river. The facilities are good and we found the terrace bar to be ideal for a light lunch or pre-dinner drink. We had dinner there once, too, and it was excellent. But above all, it’s THE STAFF that make this a special hotel. Smiling, efficient, greeting us by name…. Outstanding! Maybe it’s unfair to highlight any individuals but Kate, Anna and Elly were standouts. This was our second stay here, and we hope it won’t be our last. Some late evening noise from guests of the neighbouring hostel standing in the street.
• rayanne (10/5): Enjoyable stay, would stay again. - Fabulous room, comfortable beds, great bathroom, lovely pool area. The most caring staff! Wonderful location opposite a stunning beach. Unfortunately there is construction either side which can be a bit noisy at times, no fault of the hotel, they try their best to keep you comfortable and are very apologetic.

Le personnel du spa et du petit déjeuner est charmant et compétent. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié. La chambre est très belle et grande, avec une terrasse. Belle vue sur la rivière (demandez l'étage 3 pour ne pas avoir les fils électriques) Une ou deux personnes de l'accueil pourraient être plus accueillantes. • Emma (9/5): Beautiful relaxing riverside hotel, friendly staff - Hotel in an excellent location on a quieter section of the river, but easy walking distance into Hoi An ancient town, night markets etc. Hotel felt safe and secure, nice river front bar to watch the world going by. Check in very easy, helpful staff - in particular "Kate" went above and beyond - greeted us by name each time she saw us, helpful organising tours and transport when required, but also very understanding if we wanted to organise our own Grab taxi or tours rather than the ones offered by the hotel. Room was clean, plenty of bottled water and extra towels when requested. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of variety, eggs cooked how you liked, good coffee! Swimming pool was lovely, but a little cold - great after a long walk in the heat Backpackers just behind the hotel - playing some very loud music during pool parties which we could hear in the room and pool which were on the same side

The staff were very overbearing and you couldn't move around the hotel freely without being bothered - I got a WhatsApp commenting that I hadn't been to breakfast (I had, they just hadn't seen me), I got stopped outside my room in wet swimwear asking repeatedly about transfers etc. I paid extra for a balcony room, my balcony was literally just part of the restaurant meaning there was no privacy and the balcony was completely pointless. The air-conditioning started leaking even when turned off late at night. Whilst resolved quickly I did have to get dressed and was disrupted and I was surprised by lack of apology. The hotel was also very noisy late into the night with music from next doors hostel pool party.

• Adreese (10/5): Very nice hotel in Hoi An, in a great location, would definitely recommend. - Hotel is in a great location, less than 5min walk to all the bars/shops/restaurants but slightly tucked away so you don't get all the noise from the main strip. Customer service was amazing, all the staff were so friendly, helpful and incredibly polite. Small things like welcoming you back when you return to the hotel and asking how your days been etc. Upon check in, we were given a lovely cold refreshing drink and a member of staff kindly provided us with a map of the local area, highlighting where the key spots were such as the night market (along with opening times), Japanese bridge etc as well as where to get a lantern boat from. She also asked if there was anything else we planned on doing whilst in Hoi An and then organised a coconut boat tour for us with a private taxi there and back. We had a room on the 3rd floor with river view/balcony and it was wonderful. The room was really spacious, massive king size bed which was quite firm but both my partner and I prefer firmer beds so this was perfect for us. Similarly, the bathroom was also great, the shower was huge and really powerful. Room had all the facilities we needed - hairdryer, mini fridge, tv (albeit with very few English channels), toiletries, plenty of towels etc. Breakfast was also decent, staff went out of their way to cater for my vegan partner and prepared some vegan spring rolls for her. We also used the laundry service at the hotel which was perhaps on the more expensive side from our laundry experiences in Ninh Binh but service was really good. They collected the laundry from our room and returned to the room all neatly folded, socks paired up etc, and dresses/longer items hung up in the wardrobe. Very nice hotel in Hoi An, in a great location, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again! Only complaint is that the AC in our room kept turning off after about 30mins or so, which was bit frustrating as meant the room was really warm in the morning (temperature in Hoi An was about 30 degrees when we were there).

• Julian (10/5): Perfect location for exploring Hoi An. - The perfect hotel as a base for exploring Hoi An and surrounds. The most attentive and friendly staff, spacious rooms, great food and an unbeatable location. It’s just by the noise and liveliness of the ‘strip’ and the old quarter but somehow (relatively) quiet. The scent of Jasmine on our balcony each morning, overlooking the river, set the scene for the day. Whilst the pool is small and sheltered the hotel is affiliated with The Deck House beach club on An Bang beach which is a 15 minute ride away by Grab (about £2 each way). Great food, wine and sun loungers on the beach. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel, and would stay here again if we return to Hoi An. Small swimming pool with limited sun loungers but made up for by affiliation with The Deck House beach club.

• Brian (9/5): - This is an oustanding stay in a perfect Hoi An location. A caring wonderful staff, especially the wonderful Kate, who personally is a whiz of friendly, smiling, caring help for any thing you need. Wonderful large room, comfy huge bed, quiet location, just 3 to 5 minute easy walk to the Ancient Old Town and night market. Nothing. Great stay.

• VIJAYAM (9/5): Great ambience overseeing the calm river and close to amenities - Excellent breakfast, a good and different variety on each day. Location is strategic as it is a close distance to everything in the town, river , Japanese museum etc Spa services need improvement by having more experienced staff to perform massages

• Brian (9/5): - Very clean comfortable large room. Staff was really helpful at all times and spoke English well. Kate made a point to greet us when arriving and wish us well when we departed the hotel each morning. The free bikes were fun riding to the beach (alrhough not sized for tall people). Very affordable spa was a bonus. Cooking class and car transport arranged by the hotel were great. Breakfast buffet was excellent! Our "private balcony overlooking the river" on the first floor actually overlooked the restaurant below, which was noisy in the evening and not at all private. We upgraded/paid more for this room, and the balcony situation was not made clear. We were literally only 8 feet above dinners heads under a large roof so you couldn't see any sky at all.

• Monica (10/5): Nice spot to stay and explore Hoi An. - Great location close to all the action but not in the middle of it. Hotel staff were very helpful. Nice breakfast and had a good dinner one night as well. The bed was on the firm side for us.
• Nakul Rao (8/5): One of the best hotel experiences ever - One of the best hotel experiences ever. Great location and by far the most courteous staff ever. The restaurant at the property serves some of the best food in hoi an!
• YUMI (8/5): 中心に近く、観光して休みに帰ったりできます。 - 中心に近いが静かな場所でした。 昼ブラブラして夜はランタンの中を歩いたり休みながら観光出来ていい。かなりの人ゴミなので疲れたらすぐ戻れて良かった。小さいブティックホテルだが清掃も行き届いていました。スタッフも大変親切でした。 無料の自転車で水田や水牛も見に行けて良かった。 朝食会場が少し落ち着かなかった。 天津が目立たない柱の影にあるのでわかりにくいです。
• Christina (10/5): - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, vorallem Kate and Anna. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, der Altstadt ist per Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich den ausgezeichnete Frühstücksbuffet. Lokale Speisen, täglich wechselnder Gerichte, Europäische Speisen, frische Früchte, alles war von hoher Qualität. Sehr lecker! Komfortable Schlafzimmer, bequeme Bette. Tolle Preis/Leistung.
