- Stocks (8/5): Nice facility, not ideal time to use chemicals in a busy weekend. - Convenient to my venue. Phone careers in the room did not work properly. Shower head was reported to staff as not functioning properly, air condition unit blows directly on the person in bed. Construction and chemicals ruined my overall stay. Fans and string smelling chemicals on floor three, staff used fans to blow the air from the glue on the baseboards.

- Melissa (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. - The hotel was clean and nice. It was within walking distance of Gainbridge. The check in staff wasn’t very friendly and they didn’t disclose how much the incidental fee was when they charged my card. The bed was a little too firm.

The art in the hotel, the modern room, restaurants on site and within walking distance, Staff was overly friendly and welcoming. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when visiting Indianapolis. We walked to our concert at Lucas Oil Stadium. Somewhat pricey, as all area hotels were jacked up due to events going on but this one wasn't as high as others and I know it was the better hotel. We just fell in love with it! There was nothing. It was great!

The rooms were clean and updated and the beds were very comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer and tried out the bar/restaurant.. Just the fact that it seemed higher in price because we were in town for a concert.

- Heather (3/5): I would not recommend for the price. - Close to Gainbridge Arena Our booking was for a room with a King Bed and a Sofa Bed. There was no Sofa Bed, so we had to get a roll-away. Check-in took forever as they didn't seem to have a room for us. We had the valet park our car, but when we requested it back in the morning, one of the valets had taken the key to the box home, so they didn't have access to any car keys. We had to wait 20 minutes for our car.

When they gave me a room it was already occupied with a half dressed man lying on the bed. The next room had lights that did not work and even when I told the front desk they weren’t fixed.

- Pendarvis (10/5): We enjoyed the hotel. The food and the staff were great, we will stay next year if the band returns. - Our room was clean and passed my ultraviolet light test. The breakfast was delicious and the choices were plentiful. We were there for the high school band competition and the hotel was a comfortable walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium. When our room was "cleaned" the cleaning staff did not do a good job when making the bed. The sheet remained wrinkled and they did not "shake" the bedding before making the bed because the crumbs from the chips my husband ate before we left the room were still on the sheets of the made bed.

Late Night Valet not competent or helpful and took an hour at 11:30 pm to resolve receiving a digital claim ticket when valeting our car. He treated us like it was our problem and was not problem solving or helpful in figuring out issue. Turns out he entered our phone number wrong so never received digital claim ticket. Hotel not as on top of service as years past. Bill was incorrect with 2 items but quickly corrected.

- K. Levi (8/5): - I did like that it was right by lucas oil stadium. It was a nice property. I did not like that there was no streaming capability, and if there was i was not informed as to how. Furnishings were clean but were a bit to "rustic" for this star level. Overall good experience but not great.

- Adriano (1/5): Motel service for 5 star price. Do not stay at the Alexander. - Clean. That is about it. I requested a cot two months in advance of check-in. When my friend and I arrived, they told us they ran out of cots. There was no communication from the hotel that they wouldn’t honour my request. It took multiple requests to get spare bedding so I could create a cot on the floor. An elevator was out the entire weekend of Gen Con, creating long waits to go up to our suite. The check out was ridiculously long. Just really bad service that didn’t justify the ludicrously expensive price. I will be warning all my everyone I know not to stay at the Alexander. I certainly won’t be staying here in the future.

- Mary Jane (8/5): - Front desk was minimally staffed. One person when there was a wedding party coming in as well as regular guests. Hard to stay up to speed with the “extra” questions or needs that occur. 2 separate elevators went out at different times. Is it wear and tear or maintenance issues?? Again busy time frame, bad timing. Bar service in lobby area very good.

- Hanic (2/5): - I booked a hotel for the first time and when I arrived, it was nothing like the photos. The hallways leading to the room were dirty, number one. Number two, when I got to the room, it smelled musty, really damp, so I had to go to the lobby and ask for another room. They switched it for me, but again, the hallways were filthy, just disgusting. I don’t think this place should even have five stars. And when I finally got to the room, I couldn’t even close the windows because all the curtains were falling down, so I couldn’t sleep well. I called the staff and told them I needed to stay until noon to get some rest. But at 11, someone knocked on the door saying I had to leave because they had rented the room again. I told them I had left a note saying I’d check out at noon, and they said the check-out time was 11. I told them I needed until noon, but the overall experience wasn’t great. The bed was okay, but the building felt old, and I really didn’t sleep well. They really shouldn’t post pictures that don’t match reality.

- Derek (8/5): Very good - Didn’t accommodate our original room booking. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for 4, but they gave us a single king bed room. Parking was $55, which is offensive.
