• juan carlos (1/5): - Reserve por error en la fecha equivocada, la fecha Que la app me dio por default, fue un descuido, intente cancelarlo inmediatamente despues y fue imposible, me rechazaron la peticion de cancelarla sin costo y cargaron el total de la reserva, en una ocasion me paso lo mismo en otro hotel de la cadena marriot peeero de USA y me apoyaron sin problema, no tuve Que pagar, en fin, los errores salen caros en Courtyard by Marriot Poliforum Leon, no me la vuelven a hacer

• Henry (8/5): Hotel was the perfect refuge if you're unexpectedly stranded for days by a huge storm in the U.S. - Right at a big convention center, pretty good basic shopping nearby. Also near the big university with an excellent history/culture museum. Easy to Uber in and out of. Restaurant/bar was pretty good. Not a historic district, a lot of traffic and arteries, not a pedestrian-friendly part of town.

• Angel (9/5): Trabajo y esparcimiento se ecombinaron excelente - La ubicación inmejorable, no tuve oportunidad de confirmar otros servicios como la alberca o el gimnasio, los alimentos excelentes, la limpieza y el aire acondicionado muy bien. El personal excelente y muy amable. La regadera con gran presión y la puerta de acceso al area solo tiene cubierta la mitad aunque tratamos de evitar saliera humedad fuera del area de regadera costo trabajo, no tienen estacionamiento y el que hay, se tiene que cubrir cuota adicional aunque no es muy costoso creo no debería cobrar, no tienenen preparados tours a la ciudad, considero deberian tenerlos disponibles solicitamos uno y tardaron en darnos información hubo dilación con los trasportes disponibles el personal que nos atendió quedo apenado por no dar solucion favorable.

Considero que el costo de la habitación es alto en comparación con los hoteles de alrededor y no es posible que en toda la estancia de 5 noches solo tenga derecho a una botella de agua en ese periodo costando 40 pesos cada botella. Habitualmente te dan dos botellas por noche en la mayoría de los hoteles. El costo de los alimentos en el restaurante es alto para la calidad de los mismos.

• Z5843YXdanielf (10/5): Family Visit - 11 August 2025 Greetings I wanted to take time out and write you this e-mail of my recent stay at your hotel 8/6/2025 thru 8/10/ 2025 for 4 nights. My wife, grand son and I were traveling through Mexico visiting family and this would be our 2nd time staying at your hotel in Leon. Upon our arrival the staff working that early evening were super amazing. Our check in was smooth and quick. We stayed in room 119 1st floor. During our time there we encountered 2 very amazing associates. First one was or housekeeper Lupita. She remembered my wife from our first stay. Lupita’s infectious welcoming smile was very appreciative during our stay. Every day that we encountered Lupita she would make sure that we were well taken care of and always asked if there was anything we needed just ask her. She kept our room cleaned and well maintained. Our 2nd associate we would like to identify was Javier. The breakfast buffet server. Javier was truly amazing and his ability to take care of everyone at the buffet was inspirational. Javier went over the menu for the buffet and let us know if there was anything we needed, don’t hesitate to ask. The buffet was great. The food was perfect. The hotel itself is located close to pretty much everything we needed. The hotel has an added bonus with access to a laundry room which came in handy after 7 days in country. Lupita and Javier were truly instrumental in how they made that associate guest emotional connection. Lupita and Javier are the epitome of what great customer service is and should be. Their attention to detail was greatly appreciated by us Please let you manager as well as Lupita and Javier, that we greatly appreciate their persistence in taking care of us. I am sure their diligence is a direct reflection of his superiors. As a military veteran I have traveled around the world and I have met some wonderful people who have made a lasting impression. • Julia (8/5): Solid hotel with quiet rooms - The rooms were spacious and equipped with everything I needed (fridge, hairdryer, ironing board, coffeemaker, water, WiFi,...). It was also comparably quiet and one could sleep well at night. Breakfast offered a little bit of everything, though all warm options included meat when I was there, even the scrambled eggs, but you can order eggs to your liking freshly made as well as waffles or pancakes. There were two juice varieties, filter coffee and tea. Fresh fruit was also available. There were no non-dairy options for milk in my coffee, but that's ok, I went to the Starbucks next door for that. The pool was on the smaller side but refreshing and also offered some relaxation despite the big road the hotel was situated at (you can't really hear it from the pool which is pretty secluded with some palm trees and deck chairs. Across the road is a big supermarket in case you need snacks/drinks or some souvenirs. There was no problem getting an Uber to/from the hotel. We had booked rooms including breakfast but they still tried to tell us we had to pay on the first day. They then checked again and turned out, we were right. (You still have to sign a piece of paper/bill every morning), so check again with your booking. We had dinner on one evening in the hotel's restaurant with a group of about 8 people. There was maybe one or two other guests. Still they seemed a bit overwhelmed by our orders as it took really a long time and several of our dishes arrived cold. The taste was also a bit bland, but idk maybe they did this on purpose thinking we couldn't handle spice(s). Also, be aware that there's a service charge of 15% automatically added to your bill and they still ask you for a tip. In general, there are not that many restaurants around, so you might want to uber to the town centre.

• Arturo (1/5): Save your money, do not stay here - Breakfast was good We made a reservation for a room with 1 king and 1 queen bed, we received a room with a single bed, staff said they didn’t have any more rooms, even when made the reservation 1 month before, additional to that we had to pay extra $40 dlls for an extra foldable bed, PER NIGHT, we had to pay for parking too, we paid around another $30 dlls for all the stay, pool was out of service, we had to tell the housekeeping lady to clean our room everyday because at 16:00 of the day the room wasn’t cleaned yet, the hotel it’s just old, seems like the don’t care to upgrade or remodel nothing, rooms even have the old televisions, the ambiance and decoration makes you feel like you’re in a downtown hotel from the 2000’s, to be a “Courtyard Marriot” all these things leave you a bad taste, for the price we paid and the experience we had, I could assure you we would never be back in this hotel nor recommend it to anyone, you could easily get a waaay better hotel near that area for half the price,

• Lucy (6/5): Good potential, poor customer service, when anything occurs outside of normal process. - Clean bathrooms and bed linen and liked the toilets with the water jets! Automatically cancelled our fully paid up family room even though we informed the hotel our flights had been delayed 20hours in Orlando. When we arrived at 1am we had to wait until 3am for a room as the system said none were available we had to pay for an additional night and then be refunded to allow the system to recheck us in. 2 children were left in the hotel foyer with luggage while we tried to get a room. We paid for 6 nights and stayed for 5 nights there was no refund. Breakfast first morning was great, good service, good food. 2nd morning terrible as the hotel was full we waited 30mins to get some service. In the end we went downstairs to Starbucks, great service, great food and half the price. Cleaning staff great job.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Great location - The location of this hotel is perfect. It is right next to the feria de Leon. Starbucks and Oxxo right around the corner as well. They have good blackout curtains so you can sleep well and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant is good and the hotel is clean. The problem I had is with the shower. The showers have no door or curtain (it is one of those half glass design doors that only covers part of the shower). It is a horrible design and water completely floods the bathroom whenever you shower. In my room there was no way to turn the shower on without getting the floor completely soaked. I ended up having to turn the water off while I used the soap and shampoo, then turn it on super quickly again to try to rinse off without flooding the place. For as expensive as this hotel is, you would think that you could take a nice shower, but no. I also didn't think the air conditioning worked that well. They have air conditioning and I heard the air coming out, but it didn't cool very well. I finally put it on the lowest possible setting and I still felt hot at night. Unless you want to be next to the fair, I'd recommend that you save some money and find a different hotel where you can take a shower and control the air.

Restaurant options in walking distance are meager, so we wished the hotel had a better full service all day restaurant and room service. There is a breakfast. Having a fridge in the room was a plus. The suites also have a microwave. There is a full service grocery store across the street and a mini-market next door. The street designs mean that your ride in and out can be longer than you'd like, in order to deal with no left turn issues, causing a loop around. Pool was good.
