- Jillian (10/5): We would really recommend this hotel! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely book here again - Very clean and decorated beautiful. Ideal location for the town and the ski bus is right outside the front door. Quiet and peaceful!

Very spacious and lovely view of the valley. Excellent location. Bus stop to the nearest lift stations being directly outside the hotel. Bus A. Buses are reliable. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend to my family and friends. Would return though on a bed and breakfast basis as there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance to sample and the evening meals are served too early in my opinion, with the latest time for sitting being 7:30pm. Meals in the a la carte restaurant are served up until 8:30pm so feel this should be consistent across both restaurants.

- 780andrzejt (10/5): perfect place to stay during your holidays in the mountains. - the hotel is perfectly located in the middle of beautiful Mayerhofen while the ski bus stops right at the hotel entrance. All village atractions and restaurants are very close to the hotel. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. In the hotel you can find a very good ala carte restaurant, relaxation space including variety of sauna and similar hot bath amenities. Breakfasts are delicious and generous. The standard and cleanliness is of top rate.

- toreh412 (10/5): Amazing week - As an adult couple from Norway who wanted to celebrate Christmas in a peaceful setting in the Alps, Hotel Pramstraller was absolutely fantastic. A medium sized hotel run by a friendly family made our stay a wonderful week. We arrived in the afternoon of December 22 after a short drive from Munich. The hotel manager gave us a warm welcome, and we immediately got a garage space for the rental car. When we entered our room, it was warm and cozy, and the description of the room on the website matched 100%. Always tidy and clean room. Every morning when we came to breakfast, a kind of personal 'newspaper' was ready on our table. With info about the weather, Zillertal, and suggestion of things to do. Delicious breakfast with lots of options for both food and drinks. Nice restaurant with impressive architecture and the kind of menu you would expect at a restaurant in Tyrol. The hotel has a fantastic spa area in the basement. It’s also worth mentioning that there were, among other things, sledges to borrow, a dedicated ski room, buses to Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn right outside the door, and only 100 meters to the town center. Greatful thanks to the Pramstraller family, for making our stay so wonderful.

The hotel has expanded since our original visit and its never failed to please us. The family are lovely and the comfort of the hotel is first class. The food is excellent and there is always plenty to choose from for breakfast and dinner. We are always made to feel so welcome and will continue to visit whenever we can.

Der Service zuvorkommend und sehr sehr nett, auch der Zimmerservice super. Das Zimmer war für uns super schön. Dieses Familien geführte Hotel muss man unbedingt weiterempfehlen. Die Küche ist außergewöhnlich gut, es gab immer wieder neue leckere, auch mutige Kreationen mit einer Geschmacksexplosion. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr sehr gerne in unserem nächsten Urlaub wieder ins Hotel Pramstraller, versprochen. So ein nettes Familienunternehmen trifft man nicht überall.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff and management could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms were very large, beautifully decorated and had amazing views of the Zillertal valley and surrounding mountains. The hotel is located a very easy and short walk (5 minutes) from the heart of Mayrhofen, but is far enough away to be quiet (in traffic and noise). We loved the hotel's free push bikes and e-bikes.....it made it so easy to get around town and the surrounding areas. The food was sensational and the service first class. If we ever return to Mayrhofen (from Australia), we would only ever stay at Hotel Pramstraller!!

Felt like an effort and they weren't proactive . They came across as if they didn't want to be there . Poor in terms of even saying hello or telling us about the breakfast service. Apart from on the last day when a older gentleman spoke to us and asked if everyone was okay 👍 he had a great nature and really looked after us , for our last breakfast
- 255coling (10/5): The Pramstraller was an enjoyable experience and would stay therre again. - Hotel Pramstraller is a family run business and it shows. It is very clean and tidy throughout and the staff are helpful and frindly. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was excelent, with a good varity to suit all. Check in and out was easy, we were able to leave our luggage at reception on the day of our departure until it was time to leave. The hotel is in a quiet area toward the bottom of the town, but still an easy walk to the Penken lift, or wait for the ski bus which stops right outside the front door.

Herr Hermann and his family and their staff were all so welcoming and ensured our comfort and enjoyment of our holiday. The beautifully designed, clean bedroom was fully equipped and relaxing. The à la carte menu offered delicious options at reasonable prices and the service was top-notch throughout. We loved the complimentary e-bikes and the breathtaking guided ride to the Karlalm alpine hut. Overall, Hotel Pramstraller was wonderful, and we look forward to our next stay there.

- W704UHkerstins (8/5): Hotel Pramstraller - Hotel Pramstraller is set in an excellent location, close to the town but in a quiet area where you can sleep undisturbed from noise. The hotel is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a good selection and freshly made eggs to order. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and were greeted warmly by the cleaning staff each morning. However, the waitresses in restaurant although efficient lacked the same level of friendliness.
- Birdfuller (10/5): A lovely hotel - We stayed here for 4 nights in June. Clean rooms with beautiful views of the valley. Friendly staff. Great food. The only thing that could improve our stay was the need for fans in the rooms. It was 32.c in the day so warm evenings and we all slept badly as we were too hot. We asked the owner and he said there were none, but the 2 other hotels I've stayed at in the area had fans for the summer heat 🥵.
- MichelineW_13 (10/5): excellence in every category - This is an excellent hotel. It is absolutely spotless and very cozy and inviting. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and our room (looking out the front of the hotel) had a lovely view of the valley and mountains. There is a bus to take you to the Penkenbahn but we walked everyday bc it is only 12 minutes. We left our skiis in a locker on the hill. The sauna/ spa areas in the basement are incredible and we went every day after skiing (4 times). There are 4 different saunas, a steam room, and relaxation rooms. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. The owners are very friendly and they accommodated all of our requests. 10/10.

We are stayed at this place already few times and I think is a best recommendation what can be for other people. Probably 10 min walk to cableway, there shuttle buss going every 10 min, but we like to walk and get some exercise before skiing :)

For example - when we asked for additional towels they said we already have towels in the room, thus insulting our intelligence. This attitude significantly impacts the feeling of welcome and guest satisfaction, making it feel like the hotel does not prioritize the comfort or needs of its visitors. Summary: Hotel Pramstraller, while possessing several strengths such as its ambiance, accommodations, and breakfast, unfortunately, demonstrates significant shortcomings in service and guest experience at least as was felt by us. True hospitality extends beyond mere lodging to include making guests feel valued and cared for—a critical element that seemed missing during our stay. The hotel's beautiful location does not fully compensate for its shortcomings, such as the inconvenient heating system and the perceived inconvenience of guest requests and the general unpleasant vibe. The surprise pre-arrival price adjustment and the apparent cost-saving measures further contributed to our feeling undervalued. In conclusion, while this hotel has the potential to provide a memorable stay, our experience was overshadowed by a lack of genuine hospitality and several cost-cutting measures that adversely affected our perception.

- 643scottc (10/5): Excellent 5 star hotel - We have recently spent a fantastic week skiing in Austria and stayed at Hotel Pramstraller. The staff were very friendly and accommodating from start to finish. Special mention to Herman (Munster 😂) who is the owner and his son Patrick. Both were very welcoming and personable. Nice to stay in a hotel where you meet the owners and how proud they are of the hotel. All the furnishing throughout are good quality. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. We stayed as a large group and on a half board basis. So each morning and evening we were grouped together in the dining area. There was plenty of food to choose from for breakfast and dinner. And the choices were good quality. The waiter and waitress that served us were both very friendly and helpful if we wanted to make different food choices. Special mention to Thomas the waiter, who was always very kind. The spa is very well equipped and great for easing muscle pain after a day on the slopes. The bus stop is straight outside the hotel and runs every 15mins. The bus takes you into town within 5 mins. If we come back in the future to Austria we would certainly stay at this hotel
- trevorbP5753CE (10/5): Amazing hotel with excellent owners - We was part of a party of 15 people and from the minute we arrived the Pramstraller family and staff could not have made our stay any better. The location is great and only a short walk into town where all the ski hire shops, bars and restaurants are. The ski bus stop ‘Durst’ is outside the front of the hotel and the ski store is just inside the front door. It was so convenient to walk outside and not have to walk far, likewise after a hard days skiing jump off the bus ‘A’ and walk straight into the ski store. The rooms are spacious and both ours had large baths and beautiful showers as well as a front balcony with amazing views of the Villertal valley. The breakfast was plentiful with a delightful range of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, breads, meats, cheeses (lots of other options but too many to mention) as well as cooked eggs the way you want them. The evening 5 course meal was delicious with a wide variety of freshly cooked options over the 7 days. The service was great and if you requested something to your taste, the staff made it happen. The only negative to our stay was having to leave the hotel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone as it is amazing. Book direct with the hotel as you’ll get a better deal.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the traditional restaurant with its tasty dinner menu and the separate breakfast area offering a continental buffet with cooked options available to order. Onsite parking and ski equipment storage were super convenient, and the ski bus stopping right outside was a great bonus. The hotel's location was ideal, peaceful yet close to the town center. We highly recommend Pramstraller Hotel and can't wait to return next ski season!

I went with my father and it was great to have a separately bedroom. Thank you for that The breakfast buffet was everything you needed for a great ski day. You get fresh fried egg if you want. The dinner in the evening was extensive en very delicious. You get to choose between 3 items and they are really tasty! The hotel crew was very friendly, you really feel that it is a family business. They make sure you have a good time. Because of circumstances we had to leave early en they were so kind to give discount. Which was really generous of them. Thank you for the great service!! - 844DHB (10/5): Excellent hotel within walking distance to the main lifts. - Such a lovely family run four-star hotel within a 15 minute walk of the main Penekn lift. This is just enough out of town to be quiet, but within town to be easily be able to go to the bars and restaurants at your leisure. The ski bus does stop right outside, but we never used it. The staff are really superb, including the owner who was great fun and very welcoming. The rooms were some of the most comfortable I have stayed in. We had a lovely room with a balcony with views right down the valley. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and the bathrooms, in particular the shower, worthy of any five star hotel. The facilities, including an excellent spa area were excellent and siezable . We had breakfast every day which was a buffet with eggs to order and we ate in the hotel one night and had a tremendous meal with lovely accompanying wines. Traditional features combined with modern touches and every design and customer detail has been thought of. Rooms are beautifully decorated with care. I came with my elderly mum who loved it too - we had a large balcony with lovely views of the mountains. The bathroom is beautiful and so are the rooms. The hotel is really quiet yet a few steps from the high street. There is also a lovely garden you can visit anytime. Lovely family, who own the hotel, look after it with love and care and so the customer service is superb. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in Mayrhofen then this is it, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to relax.

- Karen (10/5): Excellent service from happy, helpful staff. - The location was good - what made it was the bus stop right outside the hotel which we always got a seat on. The boot room was just inside the hotel so it was only five paces to carry your skis to the bus. There is nothing that would put me off from going to this hotel again. There are a couple of minor improvements that could be made. My husband and I booked a Comfort level room which is one up from the standard and were disappointed to find it had two single beds pushed together. I was expecting them to at least zip the two single mattress together and provide a double duvet. The single duvets kept slipping off which was annoying. The hotel also lacks a dedicated bar area to relax in - there was nowhere to sit and play games. On the up side the owners did tell me that they plan to add a bar later in 2023.

- Mark (10/5): Fabulous!!! - Loved this hotel!!! The room was lovely…very large with plenty of storage and spotlessly clean. Despite arriving very early we were able to check in to our room. the hotel is in a lovely quiet location but only a very short easy stroll to shops and facilities. Ski bus stops directly outside and runs regularly and the boot/ski room being on the ground floor rather than in the basement as most are was a great bonus for those very tired legs at the end of a days skiing. Staff were all fabulous, very friendly, helpful and hard working and all made you feel like part of their family. The waitresses in particular made our stay particularly enjoyable. This hotel has a very homely atmosphere but with all the facilities you might associate with a much larger hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t get to sample the A La Carte restaurant but it looked wonderful and was very popular and we enjoyed a few evenings sitting at the cosy bar and watching the food being prepared in the open kitchen. Thank you to the Pramstraller family and all their wonderful staff for making our stay so special and we hope to return again soon.

- Michele (8/5): Great ski holidays - I recently stayed at the Pramstraller Hotel in a beautiful ski resort and had a truly wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. The restaurant at the hotel was also top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, with plenty of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Overall, I would highly recommend the Pramstraller Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient place to stay in a ski resort. The staff, amenities, and location are all excellent, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. The pillows are too big and not very comfortable.

- Dmitrii (10/5): Добротный отель с хорошим расположением - Отель обладает всеми необходимыми достоинствами для хорошего отдыха в горах с целью покататься на лыжах или сноутборде. Рядом (несколько шагов от входа) остановка скибаса. Ходит часто, где то раз в 15 минут. Подъемник на Пенкин - через 2 остановки, на Ахорн - через 3. Комната для хранения спортинвентаря и ботинок сопряжена с парадным входом в гостиницу. Так что сразу перед выходом можно зайти и переодеться , а также после катания и выхода из автобуса быстро облегчить себя, оставив все буквально на входе. Сама раздевалка не жаркая и комфортная. Туда все заходят в отельных тапочках. Сама гостиница очень уютная. Номер аккуратный и просторный. Есть лифт, достаточно вместительный. Есть собственная бесплатная парковка. Завтраки стандартные для таких отелей. Есть в стоимости и ужины - достаточно вкусные и разнообразные. В стандартный ужин входит салат-бар (самому наложить себе кукурузы, помидорную нарезку, квашеную редьку и пр. нечто подобное), холодная закуска (капрезе, мясной тартар, ...), суп , горячее (мясо, рыба, фондю, пицца...). десерт - типа штруделя и мороженое. Есть возможность сделать выбор из горячего за день - мясо ли, рыба, пицца (в буклете отметить). Все жидкое - за плату. Чайника в номере нет, есть холодильник. Телевизор с тремя российскими каналами. Ванная комната с окном в номер - неудобно, шторок нет. Wi-Fi в номере стабильный, но не сильно насыщен интернетом. В принципе для общения в мессенджерах (не скачивания) достаточен.

Flexibla, tillmötesgående, gav tips på utflykter, packade frukostpaket, var tillgängliga från tidig morgon till sen kväll, denna vistelse gav verkligen mersmak. Fantastisk middag varje kväll (kanske lite för mycket mat....) och bra frukost. Kommer att resa hit igen!

Hotellet har en skøn have med terrasse, ærgerligt at hotel gæsterne ikke må spise derude. Beliggenheden er fint i forhold til centrum. Man kan låne vandre stokke og cykler gratis - god service. Til gengæld skal man betale EUR 1,5 for at få lov at smøre en sandwich til hjemturen.

Restauranten hyggelig indrettet med intime båse, samt rindende vand og en vandmølle. Varieret menukort. Lidt langt fra liften, men bussen holder lige udenfor og de tager kun 5 min til liften. I kælderen er der både sauna, solarium, spa og fle bade kabiner. Rimelige priser.

Nicht so hier! Wir wurden überaus freundlich empfangen, man kümmerte sich sehr nett um unsere Parkplätze. Die Zimmer konnten wir eher als gedacht beziehen und wurden von geräumigen großen Schlarräumen überrascht. Die Ausstattung ist allgemein sehr gut. Abends wird man von sehr freundlichem Personal im Restaurant bewirtet und es entsteht sofort eine familiäre Atmosphäre, die wir bis zum Schluss des Urlaubs nicht missen wollten.

We have stayed in many hotels in the area and this was not worth the money. They charged for 4-star standard which was more of a weak 3-star standard. The breakfast buffe didn't offer many quality choices, e.g, no warm food than boiled eggs. The room had an old layout with separate (tiny, no fan and sink) WC and bathroom. The 5 course dinner contained of low quality dishes. We felt sorry for our waiter because he really tried to be nice although he had to serve us dishes that was bad prepared and didn't taste well. We were definitly not the only guests that complained over the dinners. Hard to understand how this hotel could get such a good rating, maybe they improve the service during winter time.
