Had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Bathroom very small and toilet very low and seat was loose. Could not adjust room temperature. Depending on who was on duty room was either too cold or too warm. Didn’t feel like a $500/night room. Would not stay there again.

- jennat838 (10/5): Dreamy and Romantic B&B - My fiancée and I had a wonderful time at Azalea Inn. Every staff member we encountered was insightful and kind. Our room and view was absolutely gorgeous (our favorite part was the way the window opened out onto the back balcony). The food was delicious and my fiancée said the waffle we had for breakfast was the best waffle he’d ever had. We loved the late night desserts and the 24/7 coffee and tea bar. While we didn’t use them, the complimentary bathrobes made our stay feel luxury yet homey. On top of all of this, we were conveniently located near Forsyth park -the walk was a breeze (maybe five mins top) and we were even able to comfortably walk all the way to river street. My only note for travelers is that the parking lot next to the B&B is city owned and they charge a fee for overnight parking, so keep this in mind when you book so you’re not surprised! When we checked in, the staff informed us of this immediately and even told us street parking was free (so we were able to avoid that charge and we’re so appreciative they let us know). I rarely write reviews, but our experience was so dreamy and romantic that I had to let others know (and yet a small part of me wanted to gatekeep this gemstone of a spot for future visits). Can’t wait to book our next visit!

She gave us a run down on the amenities and rules while our bags were brought upstairs. Our room was period and delightful. Snacks at 5 and 8 pm. Deliciously home made ❤️. Breakfast is just as wonderful. Homemade in the kitchen by a doting staff. As a vegetarian I was pleased with their willingness to seamlessly accommodate. Overall the staff was attentive enough to be satisfying but not so much that they are in the way. It was a bit chilly for the pool, but the small back courtyard is charming with plenty of seating, deck space and the pool. Most rooms seemed to have a balcony or outdoor seating, though ours did not. Still was a charming room. Great shower for those that care about water pressure 🤣 Overall a must do if staying in Savannah.

- 1994wedding (10/5): 60th Birthday Getaway - It was our first trip to Savannah. We wanted to stay in a historic house with a quiet location and good proximity to public transportation. Azalea Inn was perfect! They accommodated my GF sensitivity and went out of their way to even make dessert just for me! The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was great! We stayed in one of the suites since my husband had to work half days. That option worked great for us! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

- MEMOIRIES10 (10/5): A very relaxing stay at the Azalea Inn - I went with my daughter for a relaxing trip to Savannah. Stayed at the Azalea Inn & Suites. First time. Found it on a google search. Thoroughly pleased about our stay. The staff at the inn are all very hospitable and provide truly personalized care. Their breakfast each morning is served hot!. Each evening they have delicious fresh made snacks and at night they serve fresh made desserts. These little touches actually made our stay very pleasant. The rooms are clean and pretty and well decorated. There was a fridge where we could store our leftovers from restaurant, if we wanted to do so. The inn is in walking distance of Forsyth Park. We walked to all the various squares and then to the Riverfront. It is located in a safe area. Kroger is a 4 min walk from the inn. We needed to use it for meds. I am sure you will have a great time if you choose to stay at the Azalea Inn.

Breakfast was different every day, and included treats that matched dietary requirements. Can you say ‘red velvet pancakes?’!!!! We found it easy to navigate Savannah from this location.

A beautiful historic home with beautiful rooms and friendly staff. They are considerate of your every need but also respectful of your privacy and the fact you are on your own trip. It's extremely conveniently located, just steps from Forsyth, and easy to access the rest of the historic district/waterfront. The Inn was super clean and quiet while I was there. The room offered a super comfy king size bed, a nice big porch perfect for afternoon reading. I wasn't able to use the pool as it was just not warm enough! The price was not cheap, but I was looking to splurge a bit and I do think the price reflects the type of stay you receive. Thanks for a great visit!
- JTrad (10/5): Quaint luxuriant comfort at a great price in an excellent location. - Azalea Inn exceeded my expectations. This is a true, traditional B&B, but with comfortable beds. Our room was spotlessly clean, large, and very comfortable. Notably, the lovely (large) bed did not have a footboard to interfere with my feet at night. (That is a common B&B problem for me). Breakfast was delicious and nutritious, on time, and not hurried. On our second morning we lingered almost an hour over coffee, chatting with fellow travelers, and were not rushed out. That was really nice. I would stay here again.

Each staff member went out of their way to make us feel at home. The manager was very responsive to questions. Fire pit not working Room fireplace not working the first night Shampoo, dispenser as well as lotion etc were empty. I was given bottles at front desk thank you Heat could or not be controlled and was quite stifling Otherwise , the Inn was clean and and comfortable.

- anaglori (10/5): A memorable stay at Azalea Inn! - Azalea inn and Villas is a beautiful B&B . We stayed at the Live Oak room in the second floor and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were good and tasty with yummy muffins , and the reception every night with sherry and delicious bites was a very nice touch , also delicious desserts . The staff is very friendly and accommodating . It’s walking distance to Forsyth Park and at night we ordered the free service the city offers from 5 pm to 5 am . It took us to The Olde Pink House restaurant which I highly recommend and it took us back to Azalea Inn. Parking was easy as we found free street parking right in front of the B&B . It was our first time in Savannah and the fact that we chose Azalea Inn and Villas made our stay in this beautiful city even more memorable !
- DRS386 (10/5): Azalea Inn just off Savannah's Forsyth Park - We went to see Savannah and found a B&B that was just right! Azalea Inn is part of the Victorian District. We caught it before the Christmas decorations came down. Service excellent . Enjoyed conversations at every breakfast and fancier everyday. At 5 PM social hour treats which encouraged sharing your adventures whether at the City Market, Wormslow State Park, Tybee Island, the Riverwalk and of course the Victorian.

- fbs999 (10/5): Fabulous romantic inn and B’n B in the Historic District. - Fabulous romantic inn/B’nB. Staff is knowledgable and welcoming, happy hour with complimentary sherry and hors d’oeuvre in front of the fireplace is so good and so comfortable we haven’t bothered to go out to dinner either time we’ve stayed. Our room has been wonderful, a high, very comfortable bed bedecked with pillows surrounded by grace and whimsy. Breakfast is a full course affair that can make lunch unnecessary. Very highly recommended.

One receptionist named kelly( I am not sure about the spelling) she was very warm-hearted and friendly at first, then when I told her that my train would leave at night and can I leave my luggage at the hotel, she told me that I could stay at the lobby. I really appreciate it and tipped her 20 dollars ,but when she found that I was using the microwave oven to heat my noodles and eating, her attitude changed dramatically ( if I did it wrong, please tell me and I will definitely stop doing it) , the worst part is after I picked up my luggage and said goodbye to her, she thought I might have left the hotel (actually I was at the lobby to wait for my uber) and she bursted out bad words to curse me, it really hurts.

It was great to have parking on site There was a little bit of an odor on the main floor. Smells "deep down" like under the carpet or tile or maybe behind some of the kitchen appliances, furniture. Don't know. A deep cleaning by professional company might solve it

Every piece of molding was dusty, holes in the towels and one of the pillowcases. The coffee was extremely weak and the breakfast was just ok. That said, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

- Susan (9/5): Perfect place for us. We enjoyed very much. - Charming old house, breakfast, snacks and dessert served daily. The breakfast burritos (I believe served on Tuesdays) are fabulous. Temperature control in rooms good. Parking outside is easy. The shower products are excellent and for sale too. Not much. It’s a long walk from downtown. But easy drive. The street is pretty tho and Forsyth park right there. There is an empty lot next door. The French toast is not great. The OJ not fresh but ok. The price tiny bit high.
- rpc27888 (10/5): one of the best inns in town - weve been to azalea inn i think 4 maybe 5 times now and we always enjoy our stay. there is a communal breakfast in the dining room in the morning and its fun to meet other travellers and see what others are doing weve stayed at many historic inns in savannah and this is the one we keep coming back to if you can, get the guest suite in the carriage house. its separate from the main house and feels very private and comfortable

The location is perfect and great for walking to many spots. We loved staying here and highly recommend! The breakfasts were delicious and so were the desserts put out nightly. It was a dream stay, our first at a B&B-great first experience.

The first night for their hors de vours, the gave us nachos chips and cheese dip, and wonder bread sandwich bites, crust on, and when we asked for promised wine or any drink, we were told we dont do that here. Our room, the cotton exchange, was near the kitchen and front desk, sadly we were woken every morning with kitchen rattling and managers going over cleaning schedules and loud conversations and lastly slamming doors by staff... insane. Our bathroom was tiny and a large tub sat in the middle of the living room. Was this a 572 dollar a night room, absolutely not.
- Kathy (10/5): Amazing 3 nights in Savannah - The house was so lovely and the location was amazing. We were close to great places to eat and only about a mile to downtown. We walked everywhere and always felt safe. The room was so comfy and we loved climbing through the window/door to sit on the balcony. The food served was amazing. There was a nice variety prepared in the mornings and they put out brandy and appetizers at 5, followed by the most amazing desserts every night. There was a 24 hr coffee/tea bar which we really appreciated. There was a full sized refrigerator/freezer with ice maker for our use and a microwave with free popcorn. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would stay again if ever in the area. There was nothing

It’s been a while since it’s seen a good cleaning. The little extra’s, afternoon brandy and dessert were a great touch along with a good breakfast.

- Stay33614276176 (10/5): Cozy and peaceful - What a wonderful bed and breakfast! There were so many amenities added to our stay, such as snacks, breakfast, the lovely courtyard, and more! Easy parking access, and only a 25-minute walk down to River Street where we had evening plans. The ONLY thing I would say could use improving is that our room was quite warm (for our preference). We got back very late and didn't want to disturb anyone by asking how to change the thermostat. If we had stayed multiple nights we would have simply talked to the staff about it. That did not affect our pleasure with the stay as a whole and it would not keep me from booking here again!

It is about a 15 to 20 walk from this place to all the main attractions in Savannah. Overall we would definitely come back!!

The Inn is so charming and they had everything we needed: nice clean and cool room; comfortable beds with lots of fluffy pillows; coffee, tea, bottled water, and microwave popcorn in our room; scrumptious breakfast and afternoon snack; and delicious desserts in the evening. Q, the manager, was a perfect example to her staff of kindness, attentive, helpful , and caring. I really hope I get the opportunity to stay with them again. I would love to share this with my husband.

We were not expecting snacks or desserts but they were just as lovingly made as the breakfasts. The pool was so private and relaxing, we used it a few times. But truly the star of the show was the staff. So welcoming and kind! They even shooed a wasp out of our room while we went to the pool! They accommodated my wife's food allergies and made personalized meals/snacks/desserts for her. We absolutely cannot wait to return again!

- AGDComm (10/5): A Perfect Stay in a Magnificent Savanna Mansion - We had never stayed at the Azalea Inn before, so we didn’t know what to expect, but our stay couldn’t have been better. The Inn is in an old Savanna mansion, restored magnificently and authentically. Our room was on the second floor, and a word of warning, there is no elevator. The room and the bed were comfortable, and there is a small pool in the back that can provide relief from the warm Georgia summers. Good breakfasts and light food available throughout the day. Kylie at the front desk and the kitchen help and the entire staff were helpful and friendly. All in all, a wonderful experience, and we will be going back.
- Karen (8/5): Lovely, comfortable and a great place to stay the last night of my road trip. - Loved my room and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I also thought the appetizers and bread were delicious. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, (windows and lugging my luggage up those stairs). I wish I had had time to jump into that nice pool, but I had to drive home the next day unfortunately. My room was perfect and my bed SO comfortable! The only drawback was the location was WAY far away from the riverfront, but at the same time I loved being so close to Forsthye Park. I also enjoyed those murals on the walls. The location was at the very outer edge of the historic district, which made walking down to the river hot and long on a summer day. I also think parking should be free. This B&B stay was the first time I have had to pay for parking, and I have stayed a several different B&Bs in Savannah in the past.

- Jessica (8/5): - Azalea Inn is a wonderful historic house. It is close to most parts of Savannah. I walked most of the city. The snacks and dessert served nightly were a appreciated addition. The bedding was the aboslute BEST I've ever slept with!!! So confortable. The soap provided was such a grest smell. The only main suggestion I have is to dust the top of the shower area and clean out the soap containers on the shower. They were pretty nasty on the inside. Most of the inn was very clean.

From the start, Q helped us book with such care, and Kylie was an absolute gem—so kind and helpful. We even accidentally left a book behind, and she sent me photos of the notes I’d written inside! Truly above and beyond. The inn itself is lovely—delicious food with great gluten-free options, a cute little pool to cool off, and the most charming porch where we watched a dramatic thunderstorm roll in (such a cozy treat!). The location is ideal, close to everything but still peaceful. Rain or shine, you’ll feel so at home here. 💛

- 497sherrillw (10/5): A Wonderful Experiance - I stayed here from May 18th to May 24th and loved every min. of my stay. first and formost is the staff, so very nice and helpful. Miss Q and Malia are so very nice and always asked if i needed anything at all. all the staff are super nice. the breakfast was always so delicious and they also have evening snacks that were different every day. I stayed in the carriage house overlooking the pool and garden. the room was perfect and very clean. this is my first B&B and to be honest it will be hard to stay in a regular hotel now after being so spoiled here. Last time to Savannah i had to park in the street and at times a block or two from my hotel and here you can park right next door, perfect. I so look forward to staying again in the near future.

The only suggestion I would have for improvement would be that maybe there could be some sort of chest of drawers to put your clothes in. i don't care for leaving my clothes in my suitcase for a whole trip. I consider that minor and otherwise everything was great!

The manager was extremely friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure our time at the Inn and in Savannah was memorable. The inn provided amazing breakfasts and made sure that each meal was tailor suited to everyone’s tastes. Evening offerings included a social time with hordeurves, home made desserts ( we had caramel brownies and banana pudding) and complimentary sherry in the lounge. It was far greater than what we could have ever imagined!

I think that the only thing that really bothered us was the king bed in the Garden Cottage that we stayed in. Was not very comfortable and it seems to slant towards the headboard. - Relax803059 (10/5): Amazing Bed and Breakfast in Savannah, GA - Beautiful B and B in a residential neighborhood in Savannah, Georgia! From the moment we stepped in we knew this was a special place for our 46th wedding anniversary! Malia at the check-in desk was kind enough to go over a map of Savannah, and took us on a tour of the B and B. She gave us the breakfast times, ( they put the menu out the night before ), plus the times they put out the hors d’oeuvres and nightly sweets. We stayed in the Wisteria Cottage Suite, which had a living area, a little kitchen with Keurig machine and assorted coffees. A step up from the living area was the bedroom with a King bed, and a large bathroom with a rainforest shower and Jacuzzi for two! The breakfasts ( we had ours at 10am everyday ) were wonderful and well thought out, and they didn’t mind bringing our breakfast out to our patio and patio table on our last day there! Everyone was very kind and attentive, ( Q is a wonderful manager ) and we will come back for sure!!

My friend and her husband were upstairs but their room was just as nice as ours. The breakfast and evening snacks were great and the staff were all amazing. We will definitely be returning!

The house is beautiful and the location was awesome - almost everything we wanted to see or do was within walking distance. I enjoyed having my coffee on the beautiful covered front porch in the mornings. Everyone working here was personable, professional and friendly and gave us some great tips for exploring the city. We had our choice of 3 different times for breakfast and the food was always great. They were very accommodating to our needs/wants; for example my husband let them know he was not happy with the showerhead in our bathroom and within a couple of hours they had switched it out for a very nice one with detachable wand! Quite unexpected and very much appreciated! We stayed in the Cotton Exchange room with a big, beautiful king size bed and sliding door to our own little sitting area outside overlooking the small pool. The bed was comfy and there was a huge jacuzzi in the room but sadly we never did use it (maybe next time!).
